All the test subjects from the facility were looking, in shock, at the little girl that was GLaDOS. "Okay, I have a few questions to answer so go ahead." Gladdy said through the intercom systems, the subjects were even more shocked from seeing Gladdy holding a teddy bear. "Are you done harming and killing people for science?" a test subject asked. "Science isn't science unless one may lose their life during the tests, so no." Gladdy said. "Will you still go by GLaDOS?" another test subject asked. "No, I've decided to go by a more human name. Call me Gladdy." Gladdy said. "That's cute." an anti-GLaDOS subject said mockingly. "I know, don't you like it?" Gladdy asked, shocking the subject. "What has gotten into you?" a pro-GLaDOS subject asked. "Only something that I lost long ago, childhood." Gladdy said with a playful giggle. "Are you going to be kinder, like make the tests less deadly?" another anti-GLaDOS subject asked. "No, but they might require a more childish mindset to finish, children usually think over things in a different way than adults." Gladdy said. "Will we be allowed to come in here and play with you?" a different subjects asked. "Umm, maybe sometimes, I'm not sure." Gladdy said. "Will you still flood some of our chambers with neurotoxin?" Kevin asked. "Testing isn't fun without neurotoxin now is it?" Gladdy asked. "True." Kevin said. "Can I play with you later?" an anti-GLaDOS subject asked, Gladdy had a HUD up over her vision and it pointed out the ones that had her mark on them. "I don't play with anti-subjects." Gladdy said. "Hey, at least I'm asking." the subject said angrily. "I'll think about it, but what's in it for me?" Gladdy asked. "Um, I'll join your pro-subjects, I'll stop complaining about the testing conditions, and I'll play any childish game you want me to." the anti-subject said. "Survive your next test and I'll accept." Gladdy said.
A few hours of questions and answers later, Gladdy was siting down with Shade, who was currently a little girl. "How do you do that anyway?" Gladdy asked. "Nanobots, they can practically do anything." Shade said. "Okay, so when should those extra ASCPAs be finished?" Gladdy asked. "It might be a little while as I had a hard time working around all major functions and still removing the control systems." Shade said. "Oh, so about five hours?" Gladdy asked. "Yeah about." Shade said. "So any ideas for punishment for the anti-subjects that I've found out were helping Sadistic core?" Gladdy asked. "You could do what Sadistic core did to us." Shade suggested. Suddenly a subject that Shade and Gladdy instantly recognized, holding a companion cube, walked in and giggled. "Is this really what you want GLaDOS?" the subject, Doug, asked. "Yeah, it's fun actually and call me Gladdy." Gladdy said. "Okay, well I guess you two know why I'm here." Doug said. "You wanted to tell me, Chell, and Kate that we're your children and Gladdy was your wife, I've seen your memories." Shade said. "That explains the little girl that implanted a virus into my stasis pod and forced it to release me." Doug said. "I told her not to infect anything." Shade said as Jewel came in. "Actually you told me not to infect any computers, I infected a stasis pod." Jewel said. "I give you credit for thought." Doug said. "So is there anything you wanted to ask any of us?" Shade asked. "Well yes, Shade, You know I'm Schizophrenic I was wondering if you could-" Doug began before Shade cut him off. "You want me to program an android to basically be the companion cube that you see, right?" Shade asked. "Yep." Doug said. "You're so lucky that we're in Aperture Science and the tech we need for that is available, but first I need to get Kate, Chell, Kaylyn, and Amy an ASCPA that's been modified to not control them." Shade said. "I'll wait." Doug said.
Seven hours later Kate, Doug, Gladdy, Shade, Chell, Kaylyn, Amy, Jewel, and the recently created CC were all siting in the central AI chamber, which had Gladdy converted into a child's bedroom. Shade had gotten ASCPAs for everyone except Doug, Gladdy, and CC. "Thanks Shade." Chell said. "You're welcome." Shade, who was back in his normal body, said. "And thanks for creating me, though I honestly though that not even Aperture could implement the personality that something has into an android." CC said. "It's Aperture, I'm sure they can raise the dead." Shade said. "Not yet, but thanks for the idea." Gladdy said. "Don't start a zombie apocalypse." Shade said. "Okay, what about the vampire virus that is still unfinished?" Gladdy asked. "We'll talk more about that stuff later on." Shade said. "Well I'm glad that this family has come back together." Doug said Kaylyn, Amy, and Jewel all looked down. "What's wrong?" Shade asked. "We're not family." Jewel said. "Actually, I designed Lucy, who created you, Kaylyn and Amy, and I programmed the virus that was then copied by Shade and turned into you Jewel, so you're all family." Doug said. "Now what should we do?" Gladdy asked. "Turn this old facility into the best home ever." Doug said with a smile.
A/N: This is really the final chapter of The Third Legends. Next up, one of the rarest crossovers ever, Spyro the dragon crossed with portal. On a side note, YAY! I finely typed a 20 chapter story.
