Chapter 19 - Bubbles are fun!

~ Myka working on those quantum fields~

"Oy, Myka!" she heard Ussop calling. "We're almost at the Sabaody Archipelago. Come on! It's amazing! You need to see it!" said Ussop.
" Just a few more minutes and I'll come" I said.

I finished the work in just 15 more minutes and I headed out.

"Is it just me or there are bubbles floating everywhere?" I asked confused. Maybe I'm too tired and I imagine things.

"Sugeee~~!" cried Luffy

The island that came into view was ... different. There were those bubbles that came out of the grass. Not to mention all those tall trees.

"Are those...?" asked Robin " mangrove trees?"
"Yes, this is the mangrove forest" replied Hachi.
"How is this place called?" I asked them.
"Sabaody" replied Robin.
"Sabão - in Portuguese- means soap."I told them. "And I just though the name was a coincidence." I said a bit sarcastic.
"Portuguese?" asked Robin.
"Yes, back home every country had their own language, but there was this language that every person in the world knew it: english."
"Hmm that sounds complicated" said Nami. "How many are there?"
"Well it is complicated. There are 1000+ languages. I personally know only a few of them."
"1000+?!" asked Robin, Nami and Ussop.
"Wo~ There's a one that came out!" said Luffy amazed. "It's so much fun" He said as he jumped on one of them. "I'm on top of one!"
"That looks like fun" said Chopper.

As Luffy kept on jumping from bubble to bubble he ended up right above the trees. But then the bubbles started to break. And so did Luffy's. And then he fell.

I ignored him, like the rest of us.

"By the way, Hachi" said Nami. "What's the purpose of us being here?"
"We need to find a coating mechanic to cover the ship with this special resin produced by the trees. That allows the ship to go under."
"Really?" asked Franky not believing.
"Okay let's go!" said Luffy running off.
"I'm staying to fill the barrels with coke" said Franky. "We used them and now they're empty."
"I'll help" said Ussop.
"Hmm there a problem" started Nami acting "we have many treasures in here and there's no knight here to take care of it..."
"ta-daa!" said Sanji. "It's me!"
"You really do whatever Nami asks you, don't you?" said a dissapointed Ussop.
"I'm a slave of love!" yelled Sanji.
"Arigatou Sanji-kun"said Nami leaving with the rest of us.

Hmm Zoro isn't going anywhere. That's good. Since he won't get lost. wait... Did I just thought about Zoro?! I need to stop this. This is never going to happen. I shrugged it off and I went with the others.

As we left the boys and the ship, the surroundings didn't change that much. There were bubbles coming from the grass, but still there were a few buildings on this island

"The World Nobles, also knows as Celestial Dragons, are very arrogant well-beings. They even carry a masck so they won't breath the same air as we do." said Hachi. "So whatever happens, don't touch them. You need to promise me"
"Yes " said Luffy not paying attention.
"There are a few more things you need to know" said Hachi "Like I said earlier , this is the place where everyone who wants to get to the new world is passing this island. There are many famous pirates, just like you. But there are also marines and bounty hunters. But even it pirates are taken by slave traders, the law won't protect them. If you do something unusual, they'll come right after you. So take care. The marines from here are big deal. After all we are close to the MArine Headquarters. And even the bounty hunters here aren't fools. And one more thing ".
"What it is now" said Luffy bored of Hachi's speech."You're just too worried. Oh, by the way, how did you get that injury on your head?"
"Oh, it's nothing." said Hachi. "Camie isn't a mermaid and I'm not a fisherman, remember? While we are here we are humans."
"Huh? Why is that?" said Luffy
"It's just the way it is" said Hachi.
"We need to follow the rules from here" said Robin. "Let's just do what the octopus-san said"

As we carried on there were many buildings here. And there was this shop that we got in. It was called Bon Chari ride. The man from inside gave Luffy a bubble.
"Get inside" said the man. "Easy" he added.

Luffy took the bubble and with a bit of trouble he got his head inside. Then he got inside with the rest of the body.
"Now that you're in, don't you want to take this?" he said handing Luffy a bike-something and he called it "Bon Chari".

Luffy started paddling "Woaaa it's moving!" he said.
"Sugeee!" sanged Chopper.
"This is fun!Shishishi" said Luffy.
"It's not breaking" said Brook.

"Aren't they usefull?" said the man. "To rent it for a person it's 500 beli. To buy it it's 1000 beli. It's cheap, right?" he said.
"Okay then. We'll rent one" said Hachi.
"I want to buy it" said Luffy.
"Me too!" said Chopper.
"No" said Hachi. "Just rent one if you want."
"Why are you the one deciding?!" said Luffy.
"Yeah, that right!" said Chopper having Luffy's back.
"Well, I'll tell you later" said Hachi. "Uncle, I'll rent 2 more."
"Oh, you're from here" stated the man. "Too bad."

And at this moment Luffy and Chopper pouted.

"Robin" I said to her.
"Yes?" she replied.
"Hmm, I'm going to search those pieces that I need for the gate. You know the one that brings my little brother."
"Are you sure? I'm coming with you." she said.
"No, it's okay. I know the rules. And beside it's mangrove 41, right? I'll be fine. I have Tesla with me" I reassured her.
"okay then. Take care." she said.
"Thanks. You too." I said and I left.

I'm glad Nami gave me some spending money since I need to buy the last pieces. I'm so excited about bringing Kyle here. I started smiling as I imagined Kyle here with all those bubbles. He will definetely be happy.

As I looked around I saw many shops. Souvenirs and random stuff. But something caught my attention. There were those few men looking suspicious. Okay, they're are maybe bounty hunters, or slave traders. I just need to act as if I'm a local and that should do it.

I entered a few random shops with vintage style and I did find one of those needed. Okay. I pictured the machine in my head and I searched for the still needed things. As I looked around I found a specific shop. I entered it but I couldn't find what I wanted so I just took something else that I can use for the purpose I need. As I got out of the shop I saw that I still had some money. That's good. I'll just go search for some cookies for Kyle. He's a kid. And I really hope he didn't changed his tastes.

I looked around and I saw this colored shop.

"Welcome to Willy Wonka" I muttered to myself as I entered. Really, this shop looked exactly like Willy Wonka's Factory. There were fountains of chocolate, and all sort of cookies. So I picked some dwarfs cookies, bees shaped cookies, and some jelly snakes. He just loves them. I hope the taste is good.

As I finished all that I needed I headed to the Sunny. I'll just work while the others do what they want to. After I'll bring Kyle I'll get him to the amusement Park. I saw some posters about this one. I'll just tell the others so we could visit it togheter. That will be fun!

As I looked around I saw that I was at mangrove 52. Hmm so then there are 11 numbers back. I hope no one will get into trouble. Especially Luffy and Zoro. Oh, wait. Zoro was on the ship. Well, that's a relief. Hmm I'm thinking about that Grumpy again.. I need to stop that.

A/N Hey guys! I know this chapter is really really short, but I was spending time with my family far away from laptop, fanfiction, emails and stuffs. I hope I didn't fail you with this chapter but I find it annoying and useless to go with the anime. So I just took Myka out of their way for now so I won't need to write everything that happens with the others. Like the meeting with the Celestial Dragons and stuff. But, don't worry. I have a big surprise for you. I don't think that any of you expects it. Hihi I hope you'll like it ;) I promise I will write longer chapters but I'm sort of having a writing block. I can't find anything for the story. But small chapter is better than just giving up, right?
