"Yo, Kuroko"
"Good Morning, Aomine-sama" Kuroko greeted the Duke that suddenly appear in front of her while she enjoying her afternoon tea. "You came back early"
"I got a ride from the eccentric queen of Seirin" Aomine took the available seat as he start to munch on the cakes in there. "Are you finally get used to be a Princess?"
Kuroko look directly into Aomine's eyes and send him her most fearsome glare.
"Ah, they still give you a hard time" Aomine, as usual, ignoring her glares and continues to eat Kuroko's food on the table. "Have you heard that we will be going to Rakuzan family's royal party?"
"I only heard there will be family meeting?"
"Akashi hasn't told you anything about their supposedly family meeting?" Aomine saw Kuroko shake her head slightly and he let out a heavy sigh.
"So listen, there will be…."

The next day
"Welcome and please enjoy yourself" Akashi announced as part of his speech right before the afternoon party. The whole crowds give their applause and Kuroko saw there are lots of reporters attending the party. This is really not an ordinary family outing.
This is a party where every famous people in Rakuzan could be seen.
"How is it?" Aomine asked Kuroko as he give her a glass of juice in a wine glass "I heard from Momoi that you prefer to not drink alcohol"
"There are lots of famous people"
"of course, the historian of this country make a line up from one to hundreds name that has the right to hold the crown if Akashi die" Aomine took two plates of cakes and give one of the plates to Kuroko "and since you suddenly get married to the current king, your child will be the first in line to hold the crown" Aomine eat the cake and put the plate back to the servants who hold a tray of another cake and take another plate of a different cake for him to eat.
"And those who never has the chance to hold the crown somehow got into entertainment business and each one of them suddenly become very famous. Or they become famous because of their brain. The royal family is known for their good genes, be it their look or their brain." Aomine explained.
"Aomine-sama, where is Momoi-san?"
"Ah crap, I forget about her" Aomine gives his cake to Kuroko and left in hurry. Kuroko didn't understand why Aomine choose to bring Momoi to the party when he ended up losing her in the middle of the party.
"Enjoying the party, Tamiko?"
"Your Majesty" Kuroko greeted the red haired King that somehow manage to escape the attention he was receiving earlier. "I must say, I enjoy the food"
"Have you meet with any of my cousins? Or nephews and nieces?"
"I believe I haven't" Akashi wasn't surprised. With Kuroko's little to none presence, she will be very hard to spot amongst the crowd. But it is a good thing for her; otherwise the reporters would give her a hellish time for the first time she makes an appearance in public.
"Do you have any siblings?"
"No, I am an only child." Akashi pick up the plates from Kuroko's hand and put them to the nearest tray. "What about your parents? I heard you were adopted, but do you remember anything before that?"
"No" Kuroko answered almost immediately.
"What about your siblings? We haven't had time to talk about each other, haven't we?"
"It is because Your Majesty was too busy with working" Akashi chuckled after he heard Kuroko's blunt yet very honest answer.
"Is that so? I am very sorry if you feel lonely because the lack of my presence near you" Kuroko's face turn as red as his hair color. "But there will be time for us to be with each other after I finish my business with my family"
"I am okay with it" Kuroko mumbled, her face still blushing furiously.
"Are you okay with people talking that newly wedded couple like the two of us didn't seem to want to be in each other presence? People will start to gossips and you will be the one that will get attacked by senseless rumors" Akashi saw Kuroko have a wrinkle on top of her head and she seems to be thinking very hard about what Akashi just said.
"It would not be good for you" Kuroko finally said after thinking very hard.
"Yes, but" Akashi took a hold of Kuroko's hand and slightly pull her towards him "Let's just enjoy the party now"
"Your Majesty" Kuroko said as Akashi hold her shoulder and suddenly having a conversation with a man that was standing not too far away from him. After a few moment both of Akashi's and that man's eyes turn to look at Kuroko.
"Is this the woman that has will bear the future heir of our Kingdom?"
"Yes uncle" Akashi said with a smile but he pull Kuroko backward as the man try to get a closer look at Kuroko. "But I prefer you address her with her title instead of someone that will just bear someone's child"
"Understood, My King" Kuroko was really surprised as Akashi went against his own uncle. "Have you met with my daughter? She was the candidate for Miss Rakuzan this year"
"Your daughter might be the candidate, but my daughter is the current Miss Rakuzan" another voice joined the conversation. Kuroko saw it belongs to a woman that seems to be still in her late thirties, but the way lots of makeup covering her face make Kuroko think she might be older than she should be. Then Kuroko try to remembering who the current Miss Rakuzan is, she remembered Momoi made a big fuss about who win Miss Rakuzan because there was a scandal surrounding her.
"Your daughter wins because she slept with half of the juries. Just like when you have her before you finish you education" that man answered and his answer makes Kuroko's eyes widened.
"At least she wins, rather than your daughter who keeps being a candidate for three years straight"
"Let's leave" Akashi whispered as the two of them leave in silence while Kuroko watch as those two started to gain unwanted attention from the reporters. But none of the family member in there seems to care about the fight between the two adult in there.
"Ah, Seijuro-sama" a young girl that looks like still in her early twenties greeted Akashi. "It's been a long time since we meet. Was it before you are crowned as the King?"
"Hello my niece, I believe it is" Akashi answered with a straight voice.
"I have been wanting to meet you! You are certainly having grown into a fine man" the girl said as she eyed Akashi from the top to the bottom.
"I want you to meet with my wife, Tamiko" Akashi slightly pushed Kuroko forward and Kuroko could feel a threatening glare from the woman that is a bit taller than she is.
"Oh the little lady you eloped with?" and Kuroko could have sworn that woman just sneered at her.
"Congratulation on your first academy award" Akashi suddenly said before she could say anything to Kuroko.
"Thank you, Seijuro-sama! It was my first movie and for me to win an award on my first movie is truly a blessing!" that girl squealed happily. It means this young woman is working in entertainment business. Even when she didn't have a red hair, one can easily see the beautiful red colored eyes that has become part of the royal family's trait.
"We will excuse ourselves, we still need to greet other guests" Akashi told his niece.
"Sure. But Tamiko-sama, was it?" The girl said to Kuroko. "You are on my cool list since you manage to beat Chihiro-sama and sent her back home crying"
"Thank you" Kuroko didn't know if it's the right thing to say. With her busy schedule in the palace, she completely forget that she still have problem with Mayuzumi.
"And Seijuro-sama, Midorima-sama has been looking for you"
"I will be sure to find him in this crowd" Akashi said before both he and Kuroko went to find another family member that they need to greet.

One hour later
"How many family do you have, Your Majesty?" Kuroko finally decide it is the right thing to ask after they greeted many people that Akashi called uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kuroko thought Akashi is still too young to be called an uncle but after more than ten people addressed Akashi as uncle, and those people were either in the same or older than Akashi. Kuroko couldn't only think that Akashi must have a big family.
"I have neither direct siblings nor my father or mother produces any illegitimate child" Akashi answered. "But my grandfather married to my grandmother at a very old age, and they only have time to raised one child"
"Then, why do you have many aunts and uncle? When your grandparents only have one child?" Kuroko instantly close her mouth after she realizes the lack of formality to call Akashi.
"You haven't had history lesson about Rakuzan's family tree?" Aomine suddenly appeared. "I have told you sister to go back into the palace after many of the noble that try to hit on her"
"Thank you, Aomine-sama. And I only have some history about Rakuzan's relationship with many Kingdom that surrounds it" Kuroko answered.
"Akashi has many relatives thanks to the ancient family that give births to many children. In Rakuzan, there is a rule that only those who are the direct descendant from the first King who can hold the crown and rule the Kingdom. And amongst the children they should bear, only the first child no matter which gender that should have the rights to the crown." Aomine look at Akashi as if he ask for his permission to continue, Akashi finally let go of Kuroko's hand as he greeted his relatives before the gala ended. And all of them have to prepare for the private party inside the palace that Aomine told Kuroko the day earlier that should shown the true color of Rakuzan's royal family.
"What if the child isn't capable to become a King?" Kuroko asked.
"This is the scariest part" Aomine look at his surrounding to make sure there are no one who would bother to hear their conversation "if the child that is the crown prince or princess will not be able to rule Rakuzan according to the current King's eyes, there will a meeting to decide on who will be suitable to rule Rakuzan. After the King choose that person, the crown prince or princess will have to marry the person that the King has chosen. This is the reason why there are many of the previous ruler have a child that labeled as illegitimate. Intermarry between cousins were normal in the council's eyes. As long as the previous King chooses the bride"
"Aomine-sama, it is surprising that you take enough attention in history class to be able to remember this" Kuroko told Aomine after hearing the surprising fact about Rakuzan's royal family.
"I have to find out who I can touch and who I shouldn't touch" Aomine answered lazily. "All the Duke and Duchess are somehow related to Akashi. And it will be weird if I slept with my aunts, even when that girl is super hot and younger than me"
"Aomine-sama" Kuroko's face turns red after hearing Aomine's comment. Kuroko is still not used to Aomine's reputation and his blunt comment.
"As for Akashi's case, his father and mother die before the King could decide who Akashi should marry. And the council has no power to control who Akashi should marry. It is why they keep giving suggestions after suggestions to Akashi until Akashi has enough of it and choose Mayuzumi." Aomine stopped to take a look at Kuroko's troubled expression.
"Akashi's mother was not a princess. She was the child of Duke that rules the small village in Seirin." Aomine suddenly said to Kuroko. "Akashi's grandparent never approved of Akashi's father decision until they find out that Akashi's mother is smarter than the available candidate at that time and Akashi's grandparent have no choice but to accept Akashi's mother"
"Because in Rakuzan's history, there is no such a thing as divorce for the one who is the first in line to wear the crown" Aomine continued "you are stuck with Akashi the moment you sign the documents. And you can't have a child from other men unless you give birth to the heir. It is what the rule said. "
"I would—" ; "but I think it would be impossible for you to do that. Akashi won't let get close to another male that he didn't trust." Aomine said before Kuroko could say anything. "And I also think you are not the type that will have affair." Aomine turn to look at Akashi and the crowd that surrounds him
"But you are the type that will ask for a divorce. I hope you can see what kind of family Akashi have tonight and by the time the party ended, you will realize what Akashi has done to protect you and you will never think of that word for the rest of your live" Kuroko saw the threatening look from the usually carefree Aomine.
He knew that if Kuroko have time to spend with Akashi, she will bring up the topics about the possibility of divorcing. And seeing Aomine's expression, Kuroko knew Aomine will be one of the people who promise her hell if she ever done things to make Akashi miserable.

Another short chapter….(I seriously have no idea what to say)
I have a little question (or poll?) about the names I should pick as Akashi's relative. Maybe you all have names that I could use(it could be Japanese name or other than Japanese)? If you have please leave it in the review or just pm me, and don't forget to add age and description if that character is an OC. I have run out of ideas on names and whether I should use an OC for girls that is in the same age as GoM(there are little female variation on Kurobasu) or make them anonymous and keep using third person PoV
