Lala! I hope you enjoy this!

Months had passed since Deucalion was killed. The darkness that was surrounding Stiles, Vivian, Scott, and Allison was taking its toll on each of them. Scott was struggling majorly with transitioning into an Alpha. It was like becoming a Beta all over again. He couldn't control himself anymore. Any sign of emotion, even a small one, was a trigger for him. Stiles wasn't able to sleep soundly through a night. He'd wake up screaming from night terrors that, to him, felt so real. Allison didn't talk much about hers, but she was being haunted by her aunt Kate who was killed by Peter. That's why Allison was somewhat distant towards him. She couldn't keep a steady hand with her bow and arrow either. Vivian was going through a depression. All she could think about were her parents and what had happened and how she had lived with their killers for so long, befriended them and she couldn't help but think of how wrong that was. It didn't help that Derek and Cora had left… They told her that they need to take care of something, she had begged to go with them, but he wouldn't allow it. Vivian couldn't stop crying.

Chris had also decided to take care of some business which left Allison and Vivian home alone. The first night was okay, but the second night neither of them could sleep. Allison kept seeing things and Vivian was hearing things that even Lydia couldn't hear. The third night, they called Scott, Stiles, and Isaac to come over. Of course they wouldn't tell Chris that because he'd have a heart attack, but they need to feel safe and having two werewolves plus Stiles was good enough for them. Isaac and Allison were sitting and talking while Scott was walking around aimlessly. That left Vivian and Stiles sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee. "I swear this is what I've been living off of for the past few weeks…" Stiles muttered and sighed.

Stiles looked tired. There were dark circles under his eyes, he was definitely having trouble keeping his eyes open and yet he knew that he couldn't fall asleep because if he did then he would have the nightmares again and they would just keep getting worse and worse. Vivian smiled softly at him and nodded. "I know what you mean. I feel like I haven't slept for a good eight hours in a long time…" She said and took another sip of coffee. She looked into the half empty cup.

"Hey, uh, how are you holding up with… you know…" Stiles muttered.

"With what?" Vivian knew what he was talking about, but she hoped that if he thought she wasn't always thinking about it then he would leave it be. She didn't want to talk about it, about them, the Alphas, Derek, Cora… It was just too much.

"Come on Viv… You know what I mean. You killed the guy that murdered your family and raised you. Derek is God knows where… How are you doing?" Stiles bit his lip as Vivian only shrugged.

"How do you think I'm doing? I worry about Derek every day of my life while I'm here and, as you said, he's God knows where… With the Deucalion thing… there's this pull… Do you know what I mean? It's like, I'm happy I did what I did because now he's dead, now we don't have to deal with him, but at the same time I'm just… sad. I don't know… Maybe I'm crazy. I keep seeing flashes of him in the corners of my mind. I hear his voice and it's only getting worse. I'll be walking down the halls of school and then suddenly there he is and… he keeps saying the same thing 'come with me.' And… I just want to scream and run away…" Vivian explained barely taking a breath and she realized that she was clutching her mug of coffee extremely tight.

Stiles laid a hand on top of hers and squeezed it gently. "Breathe Vivian…" he muttered.

She nodded and took a deep breath before letting it out. "Sorry…" She whispered and shook her head. "How are you doing? You look tired…"

Stiles sighed heavily and looked down at his coffee this time. "Not… good…" he muttered and chewed on his bottom lip roughly. "I just, I can't sleep. I'm starting to question what's reality and what's a dream. You see, you can't read while you're dreaming and… right now, I can't read anything… I sometimes see things that could only be in a dream… Like, I really don't know if right now is a dream or reality and…" He shook his head and looked down. "It's the fucking scariest thing…"

Vivian nodded and sighed. "Yeah…"

"And this fucking thing…" He clutched his chest. "It's just taunting me like it knows that I can't get rid of it…"

Vivian nodded. "I feel the same way…" She muttered and sighed softly.

Stiles nodded and the room was quiet besides the bits of chatter in the room beside them and that's when the voices began to start again. "Vivian…" It was Deucalion's voice once again. "Vivi…" Vivian glanced at where the voice was coming from and Deucalion, a misty form of him at least, was standing there, a hand outreached to her. She quickly looked back to Stiles who noticed how she was acting.

"Do you see him?" Stiles asked as Vivian nodded quickly staring at Stiles in almost fear that struck her. "He's not really there, Vivian. You know that. It's just a hallucination."

"Vivi…" Deucalion said again. "Come with me…"

Tears sprung to Vivian's eyes and she covered her ears. "Stop it!" She said.

"Vivian, it's not real," Stiles said again and stood up walking over to her and pulling her into a hug. Vivian continued to cover her ears and buried her face in his chest.

The voice began to fade as it continued to say "come with me…" until is stopped completely. Vivian took her shaky hands away from her face and looked around the room, steady tears falling down her cheeks. "He's gone…" She whispered in relief.

Stiles rubbed her back gently. "Good…"

Vivian took a deep breath and looked up at him as he looked down at her. She wiped at her eyes and smiled sheepishly before backing out of his embrace. He smiled lightly at her and sighed. "It's getting late… I kind of want to try and sleep…" She said.

Stiles nodded and bit his lip. "I'll come up with you in case the voices come back, yeah?"

Vivian nodded and turned beginning to walk up the stairs. Allison and Isaac were still sitting on the couch and Scott was on the other side of Allison now. She looked a bit awkward between the two boys. Vivian knew that Allison and Isaac had been talking more and Scott was not upset about it, but you could tell there was a hint of jealousy in his eyes. Isaac had said he had asked Scott about her and, let's just say, Scott needed to let out a bit of his jealousy on him. "We're going to head up to bed," Vivian said and they all looked at the two of them. "Stiles is just coming with me because I don't want to be alone…" She said rolling her eyes knowing what they were thinking. Their eyebrows raised more and smile crept across their faces. "Guys!"

They all started laughing. "We know, Viv!" Scott said.

"We're just giving you two trouble," Allison said still laughing a bit.

Vivian smiled and laughed lightly too before turning and going up the stairs. "Stiles!" Scott called. Vivian looked back and just saw him give Stiles a stern look. Stiles only widened his eyes and shook his head before turning back around and walking up the stairs with Vivian. They went into her room and Vivian plopped into bed and Stiles sat in a chair, bouncing his leg up and down and biting his finger nail.

"Are you going to get any sleep tonight?" Vivian asked and looked at him with a raised eyebrow as she curled up under her covers.

Stiles shrugged. "Probably not… I forgot my pillow and I can't sleep without it…" He said and sighed just looking at her. "Just say if the voices come back Vivian…"

She nodded and swallowed lightly before closing her eyes and drifting to sleep.

Stiles sat there just glancing around the room. There were books on the book shelf and he stood slowly wanting to take a look at them. He tried to read the writing, but when the words looked all jumbled up and backward she quickly looked away, his heart rate going up. What if this was a dream? What if he really wasn't in Vivian's room? More "what ifs" floated through his thoughts and he rubbed his eyes, trying to look at the books again, but they just kept getting more and more jumbled up. He blinked a few times and still the same thing. His breath came quick and he looked nervously around the room.

Vivian began to wake up hearing the slight creak of the floorboards in the room and the breathing. She opened her eyes and looked up at Stiles squinting slightly. "Stiles? Is that you?" She asked.

"Y-Y-Y-Yeah…" He muttered, running a hand through his hair.

The stuttering immediately made Vivian wonder what was wrong. She sat up quickly and looked at him. "Stiles, what's wrong?"

"I-I-I don't know… I can't, I can't read the words… and-and…" He said breathlessly.

"Stiles, you're panicking…" She stood quickly and looked at Stiles.

"This is just a dream. All of it is just a dream…" He muttered.

"No, Stiles, this is real. You're here…" She bit her lip when she noticed that he wasn't calming down. "How do you usually tell if you're in a dream or not?"

"Well, a-at first it, it was the, uh, the reading, but then it-it turned into… counting! Fingers. You-You have more…" He whispered and took shaky breaths.

Suddenly the door opened and Scott was standing there. "Are you two alright?" He asked and his eyes went immediately to Stiles.

"No, he's panicking…" Vivian said and bit her lip roughly.

"Stiles… Look at me…" Stiles looked over and Vivian stepped back watching the two best friends. Scott apparently had already been through this because he held up his hands and started counting his fingers with Stiles. When they finished Stiles was breathing normally and he ran his fingers through his hair again, squeezing his eyes shut, trying to focus on how many breaths he was taking.

"Vivian, I'm going to take Stiles downstairs. Are you okay up here by yourself?" Scott asked and she nodded sitting on her bed.

"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine…" She muttered.

"Just yell if you need anything…"

"Okay…"

Scott led Stiles out of the room and they walked down the steps.

Vivian laid back down and pulled the cover up to her chin and closed her eyes. She fell back into a restless sleep quickly.

So, a bit of filler... But some of this stuff might become more important in the story... *insert devilish grin* Thanks for reading lovelies!
