A/N: Thanks to everyone who favorited/followed since the last chapter!

-Melissa bradley (Guest): Unfortunately the Eva/Stephen couple we have come to know is gone, but in the WWE universe Eva and Sheamus are still together which will cause some intrigue in the story!
-Thrse Strmber (Guest): I'm sorry it took soooo long, but now you can read the next chapter! I hope you continue to love it!

I breathed in shakily and shut my eyes. Tonight is Stephen's return to WWE after his surgery and I haven't seen him since that day at the cafe. I was just unimaginable grateful that he would already be in the ring when I had to see him for the first time. I was feeling a lot better recently, but I'm still not sure if I can handle seeing Ste face to face again. With a script, I think I can handle it. I hope I can handle it…

"Ready, Eva?" One of the stagehands touched my arm and I gave him a small smile before I turned back towards the stage. I took a deep breath before putting a wide smile on my face. This was a scene; I could do this.

Scene

I walked out onto the stage as Sheamus's music pounded through the speakers. He had just won his first match coming back from surgery and he was celebrating in the ring, while the stadium cheered. I clasped my hands in front of my chest resting my chin on them briefly, still beaming. As Sheamus noticed me, he stopped at the edge of the ring resting his hands on the top rope. I laughed and held out my arms wide and he quickly dropped from the ring and started up the ramp. I jogged to meet him at the edge of the stage, just where it started to slope and laughed as he collided with me.

Sheamus held me tightly against his chest adjusting his arms around me, while he buried his face in my neck. I put a hand on the back of his head and laughed as he lifted me up into the air. When he set me back onto my feet I pulled back, looking him in the eyes. He smiled at me, and I reached up putting a hand on the side of his face.

"I'm so proud of you." His smile widened and he grabbed my hand, rubbing the back of it with his thumb before he turned me around to head backstage again.

Scene

The moment that we were out of the view of the crowd I slipped out from under his arm and picked up my pace to put some distance between us.

"Eva, please!" I kept walking, but I could hear Stephen's footsteps behind me. "Ya have to talk to me sometime." I sighed and looked back over my shoulder a bit, blinking rapidly to hold in the tears.

"Not tonight. I have a match and…" I trailed off and didn't bother thinking of anything else to add. I faced forward and took in a shaky breath, as I started walking away again. This time no steps followed behind me.

I spent the rest of the night hiding in my locker room. Once Stephen's match was over I had immediately changed into my wrestling gear then sat on the small couch holding my title belt, waiting for the cue that my match was next. I ran my fingers across the jewels on the belt lightly, as I thought about my future. To keep the Divas circuit interesting, the title usual switched hands pretty quick and I knew I wouldn't be able to hold onto it forever. I sighed and leaned my head against the back of the couch. At least I wouldn't be losing my title tonight. AJ and I were wrestling, but it wasn't a title match. The other Divas were still going through matches to determine the number one contender. The light knock on the door made me turn and I sighed a bit, standing. I threw the belt over my shoulder before I opened the door smiling widely at the stagehand. I let her lead me down the hall responding to her questions and general small talk before saying goodbye as she left me at the state entrance. I took the belt and strapped it to my waist, before shaking out my arms. As my music hit, I took a deep breath before I took the stage with all the confidence I could muster.

Scene

I had taken my time getting to the ring opting to greet fans rather than rush. I slipped into the ring and climbed up on the turnbuckle, before I unhooked my belt and held it up towards the crowd. I laughed a bit as the cheers grew louder. I tested a hand on the top of the turnbuckle, as I jumped down to the floor of the ring. I walked to the center, handing my belt off to the referee before facing AJ, ready to go.

The match mostly consisted of close quarters grappling before she managed to get a good hold on my shoulders, while I tried to get her into a headlock. AJ flipped me over her shoulder, but because of the size difference, I had to give it a bit of a jump for her to pull it off. I landed on the mat with a thud just like always, but this time I felt a sharp pain in my back. I froze and curled slightly onto my side.

"You ok?" I turned to see AJ kneeling beside me trying to look like she was gloating.

"No." I winced. "Something's wrong, pin me."

Scene

She turned me onto my back and laid across my chest. I held still, eyes shut, breathing deeply, while the ref got on his knees to do the three count. I could hear AJ muttering to him and when he signaled for the bell, he also called for the medics. As AJ pranced around the ring I turned back to my side and curled up, fighting back tears. Something felt really wrong. A man rolled me over I recognized one of the doctors from backstage and I tried to answer his questions as they placed me onto a gurney rolling me backstage. I put a hand over my eyes and tried to breath through the pain. They skipped taking me to the backstage doctor and instead shipped me off to the hospital for an MRI. When we arrived the ER doctor went over standard questions for MRIs, but when he got to pregnancy I froze. He watched me for a few moments.

"Ma'am, any possibility you're pregnant?" I nodded slightly not trusting myself to talk and he frowned. "I'll still send you in to get the MRI, but we'll try to keep it short to be on the safe side."

While they rolled me into get my MRI I tried to count back to my last period, but I couldn't remember. Getting the MRI was a blur, until I was back in my room and a nurse was drawing blood for tests.

"Why are you taking blood?" The nurse looked up at me.

"Since you weren't sure about pregnancy, the doctor wanted to get a test done. Depending on what's wrong, we will need to know if you're pregnant for treatment options." I nodded and turned my head away as she filled up the test tube. She left me alone in the room and I fidgeted nervously. I jumped slightly when AJ burst into the room, near tears.

"I am so sorry, I thought I threw you fine!" I laughed a bit and shook my head.

"It's not your fault, everything went fine until the landing which is my fault really." She came over and hugged me tightly which caused me to wince slightly. "Careful, don't jostle me." She pulled back quickly and sat down in the chair beside my bed. AJ opened her mouth say something when there was a knock on the door before the doctor stuck his head in.

"Sorry to interrupt, but we've got your MRI results back. It looks like you slipped a disk when you landed." I sighed a bit before the doctor continued. I'm going to wait for that pregnancy test to come back before we go over how to proceed. I'll leave you to rest for now and I'll come back once I've got your blood results." He smiled before leaving the room. Once the door clicked into place AJ whirled to face me.

"Pregnancy test!?" I smiled a bit shakily at her.

"Surprise?"

A/N: I'm back! Sorry guys, I've been applying to grad school which has kept me insanely busy and this is a bit shorter than usual, but hopefully I'll be posting more regularly again now!
