Chapter 20

Two hours later Troy and Gabriella had arrived back in Albuquerque. They were now on their way to his parents house. Troy looked over at his wife and saw that she was waking up. Gabriella woke up from her nap and looked over at her husband. A few minutes later they arrived at his parents house and parked the truck. Troy asked his wife if she was ready to face his parents. Gabriella told her husband that she was ready to go face his parents. So Troy and Gabriella got out of the truck and locked it up. They went up to the house and knocked on the door.

Lucille was in the kitchen making dinner, when she heard some one knocking on the door. Lucille turn the heat down on the food and went to answer the door. Lucille open the door and saw her son Troy and his girlfriend Gabriella standing in front of her. She let them into the house and shut the door. Lucille looked at her son Troy and Gabriella and saw that they were no longer wearing goth clothing. She also notice that Troy and Gabriella were wearing rings on their left hand ring finger. Lucille could not believe how much her son Troy and Gabriella had changed.

Troy and Gabriella said hi to his mom. Lucille said to her son Troy that she was sorry for trying to keep him and Gabriella apart. Troy told his mom that he forgives her. So Lucille asked Troy how he was doing. Troy told his mom that he has been doing good. Troy then told his mom that he and Gabriella are married. Troy also told his mom that he and Gabriella were having a baby in four months. Lucille was in shock to learn that she was going to be a grandma in four months.

Troy and Gabriella were waiting for his mom to say something to them. Jack came out of the living room and saw his son Troy with Gabriella. Troy and Gabriella saw his dad looking at them. Jack said to Troy that he was sorry for the way he had been treating him and stuff. Troy told his dad that he forgives him. Jack asked Troy how he was doing. Troy told his dad that he has been good. Troy told his dad that he and Gabriella are married and are having a baby in four months. Jack was first in shock, but then he congradulated them on being married and having a baby together.

Lucille went the kitchen to finish making dinner. Troy said to his dad that he does not think his mom is happy about him and Gabriella being married and having a baby together in four months. Jack told his son Troy to give his mom some time to get used to you being married and having a baby with Gabriella. Troy and Gabriella knew his dad was right. Jack asked Troy and his wife if they were going to let their friends know they are back.

Troy and Gabriella told his dad they would let their friends know they are back, when they go see them tomorrow. Jack asked Troy and Gabriella if they wanted to take their stuff upstairs to the bedroom. Troy and his wife told his dad that they have not decided if they were going to stay there or next door with Maria. Troy and Gabriella told his dad they are going to go next door to tell Maria about them being married and having a baby. Jack told Troy and his wife that he would see them later then. So Jack went back to the living room to watch another basketball game on the tv.

So Troy and Gabriella left his parents house and went next door. They went up to the door and knocked on it. Troy saw that his wife was nervous about telling her mom about them being married and having a baby. Troy told his wife that she does not need to be nervous. Gabriella said to her husband that she is worried how her mom is going to react to them being married and having a baby. Maria was finishing eating her dinner, when she heard some one knocking on the door. So she went to answer the door and saw her daughter Gabriella and Troy standing in front of her. She let them into the house and shut the door.

Maria could see that her daughter Gabriella and Troy had changed a lot since she had last seen them. Troy and Gabriella told her mom that they have some thing to tell her. Maria asked Troy what they had to tell her. Troy told Maria that he and Gabriella are married and having a baby in four months. Maria was in shock at first but then she congradulated them on being married and having a baby. Troy and Gabriella gave her mom a hug.

Maria asked Troy and Gabriella when they had gotten married. Troy and his wife told her mom they had gotten married a few months ago. Maria then asked Gabriella how far a long she was in the pregnancy. Gabriella told her mom that she is four months pregnant and in her fifth month. Maria then told Troy and Gabriella that she was sorry for trying to split them up. Troy and Gabriella told her mom that they forgive her.

Maria asked Troy and Gabriella where they were staying at. Troy and Gabriella asked her mom if they could stay with her for a while. Maria told Troy and Gabriella that they could stay with her. So Troy went to get their stuff from the truck. Maria asked her daughter Gabriella how her pregnancy has been going. Gabriella told her mom that her pregnancy has been going good. Maria asked her daughter if she has started having cravings for certain foods.

Gabriella told her mom that she has had a few cravings for certain foods. Troy came back in the house and took their stuff upstairs to Gabriella's room which is now their room. Maria asked Gabriella if she is happy being married to Troy. Gabriella told her mom that she loves being married to Troy. Troy came back down stairs and went back over to his wife. Gabriella gave her husband a kiss on lips. Troy and Gabriella told her mom they had told his parents about them being married and having a baby.

Maria asked Troy how his parents took it. Troy told Maria that his mom was not happy about it , but his dad took it well. Gabriella was listening to her husband and mom talk, when she felt the baby kick. Troy looked at his wife and asked her what was wrong. Gabriella told her husband that their baby just kicked. So Gabriella placed Troy's hand on her swollen belly. A few minutes later, Troy felt the baby kick his hand. Gabriella saw a smile on her husband's face.
