Guy's Thoughts

He could still write, it came out sloppy since he had to hold the brush in his mouth; but Miroku could still very easily write out his thoughts and speak with his beloved Sango. They spent the time just conversing not wanting to tread on the topic of what was left of their fragile relationship at that moment. They mostly talked about what Sango had been doing with her life since his sentence and their separation.

Both being completely content to just sit in their room and talk about absolutely nothing.

Koga had thought that allowing her time to cool off was making some sort of progress, especially since she'd allowed him back into their room. But now she was working on something and completely ignoring him.

I guess I deserve a taste of my own medicine... He thought, and once I can speak again she deserves an explanation.

Inutashio had given her a framed photo of the poem to keep. "Just look at it and remember that he actually apologized once." The old demon had said. "It'll come in handy the next time he screws up and wont swallow his pride."

Inuyasha had pouted as a dog and not happy in the slightest with what his father had said, but Kagome was complicated and had quite the temper. He knew he was bound to make her mad again if they managed to get through this.

Once in their room Kagome knelt down and placed a kiss on Inuyasha's nose.

"I never thought you'd actually apologize." She told him, "so I suppose you can go ahead consider this as an act of forgiveness."

Progress! Inuyasha thought happily as Kagome went to get a shower before dinner.

"So Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, Miroku, and Koga have each been reunited with their mates." Toshi said.

"What do you make of the new developments in this particular case Satoru?" Tora asked.

"I never trusted the words of Onigumo in the first place, but then it wasn't because of him that we punished those boys in the first place." Satoru answered.

"Indeed there was something to be gained from our actions on that day." Saki sighed.

The position of a council member was always demanding, but they always acted with good intentions for those who deserved it.

"We will have an audience with them once they are no longer as primitive." Toshi decided.

The rest of the council murmured in agreement with his decision, and they moved on to discuss other business.

AN: As promised another chapter! Hope you all aren't too upset about the wait but I will post very time I get a free moment.

This story as well as 'Love Found', Luna's Flame, and Force of Nature are only a few more chapters from being done so they will be getting the majority of my attention for now, but there will be odd updates on the rest of my stories as well so don't panic.

R&R please!
