Red-Ribbon Army Saga

General Blue Arc

Kurama no Kyubi: Now we've finally reached the fourth Arc (third in canon) of the Red-Ribbon Army Saga; the General Blue Arc. Not counting my original Arcs or the crossover Arc with Dr. Slump, this would be the middle Arc of the Red-Ribbon Army Saga, meaning that we could be closing in on the end. Well, not really, as I'm planning on including the Penguin Village Arc, as well as one more original one. And due to a couple ideas of mine, the Red-Ribbon HQ Arc will probably be quite long when compared to the other Arcs. Now please read and review.

avatoa: Quick question: Is this arc based around the anime Higurashi? I am asking because for some weird reason, without seeing the anime in question, I feel a sense of recognition here when I read this arc.

Kurama no Kyubi: Hadn't I already said so, though? But yes, the Sarugoroshi-hen is based around Higurashi (you'd think the title of the Arc would be a dead give-away).

"Kamehameha." Normal speech.

'Kamehameha.' Normal thought.

"Kamehameha." Biju, God speech.

'Kamehameha.' Biju, God thought.

Bulma: Kurama no Kyubi doesn't own anything other than his own OCs.

Chapter 19: West City

"Seriously. We should've been there by now. How long till we get to West City? I'm starving!" A disheartened Naruto spoke in a bored tone.

"Hey, quit your complaining. It's not my fault that you guys got so hungry and we stopped at that village to eat, and when we took off again, you had forgotten which direction was west, so we headed towards the south-east instead." Rin lectured.

"Hey, you got hungry too." Goku stated bluntly.

"And besides. If we hadn't taken that detour, we would've never made it to Hinamizawa and met all the people there." Naruto said.

"Guess, you've got a pint there." Rin said with a sigh before adding "But man, that was pretty surreal."

What had happened in that peaceful rural village was quite surreal, indeed. What had started as just them playing around in the forest with some of the village children had quickly turned into a small skirmish against some Red-Ribbon Army goons, and then it all went to hell when one of the children, an 11-year old girl, was shot and killed, and it turned into a life-death battle against a real-life Witch and a horde of Demons with the entire Universe at stake. During it all, Rin had even met the village's God, though she had yet to inform her companions of that little tidbit of information.

Though, now they had a goal of gathering the Dragon Balls other than finding Goku's ball. They would gather the seven balls, and then use them to summon the Dragon and wish the girl back to life.

"Ah! I see something!" Goku called out, and the other two looked in the direction he pointed in.

Over in the distance were a great number of tall buildings surrounded on all sides by a large field and the ocean to the west. They had reached West City at last.

"It's getting pretty bustling."

They flew in over the city streets, between the tall round buildings.

"Sugoi… What kinda place is this?! No wonder Bulma's so weird! She can't help it!" Goku muttered as he looked around.

"No kidding. I saw a couple places when I was traveling with Ero-Sennin, but none of them were anything like this." Naruto said.

"Well, it is one of the Five Capitals, so I wouldn't really expect anything less." Rin said.

"Five Capitals?" Naruto asked as he and Goku looked at the girl in confusion.

"Well, you know that, with a few exceptions, the World is mostly governed by a single government, right?" Rin waited for the other two to nod before continuing "Well, with such a large area as the whole World under a single government, obviously it would be difficult to keep everyone in line, so what they did was that they built five capitals, located to the east, west, south, north, and center, and each capital is led by a council governed by a governor. These five cities are, of course, East City, West City, South City, North City, and Central City where the King lives. It is actually quite impressive that the King has managed to retain order throughout the whole World, and he's received quite a lot of praise for it. Though…"

"What?" Goku asked.

"Oh, no, it's nothing. It's complete bogus, anyway." Rin said.

"What is?" Goku asked.

"Well, there's been a rumor running around lately. Apparently, a lot of people seem to think that the King made a pact with a Witch, and that is how he accomplished this. It's pretty stupid, though." Rin said.

"Why's that? We've met a Witch ourselves, haven't we?" Naruto said.

"Yes, but that's exactly why I don't believe it. After meeting a real-life Witch myself, I can't really imagine one being interested in something like World domination."

Shortly after

"We'll walk from here." Goku told Kinto'un as the three of them had gotten off the cloud, and it then flew off to who-knows-where.

"This sure is a noisy place…" Naruto said as he looked around.

"Well, what'd you expect? This is a big city we're in, after all." Rin said.

"You've been to one before?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah, I have. Though I'd rather not wanna talk about it." Rin replied, rubbing her butt as if it hurt.

"O…kay…?" Naruto said with a slightly puzzled look on his face.

"Come on, guys. Let's go find Bulma's place." Goku said enthusiastically as he walked past them and straight into the street.

"Ah, wait, Goku-kun…!" Rin attempted to warn him, however…

"Hey, kid! Watch where you're walking, idiot!" A guy in a hover car yelled as he had almost run Goku over.

"Hey… where the heck's Bulma's place, anyway?" Goku asked.

"How should I know?! Just get outta my way or I'll run you over!" The man said.

"Sorry about that, my little brother can be like that, you know?" Rin said as she grabbed Goku's wrist and dragged him away.

"Humph. Crazy kids." The man said before driving away.

"What's everybody in such a hurry for?" Goku asked as his eyes followed the hover car as they approached Naruto.

"Seriously, even I'm not that dense." Naruto said, commenting about how Goku had just walked into the street.

"Alright, listen up, you two. It seems we need to lay down some ground rules while we're here in this big city. First off, do not wander off on your own. Second, never cross the street unless I say otherwise. And finally, never talk to anyone you don't know."

While Rin was talking, however, it seemed that Goku had walked off and was currently talking with a woman with a baby.

"WHAT DID I JUST SAY?!" Rin yelled.

"There, there." Naruto petted Rin's back as she sighed.

"Come on, let's go get that idiot before he gets himself into trouble." Rin said as they walked over to Goku.

"I feel sorry for the "trouble" already." Naruto said, causing Rin to giggle.

"That's bizarre… I wonder if she really lives here…" Goku said as the woman walked away.

"Hey, Goku-kun, what're you doing?" Rin asked as she and Naruto approached the boy.

"Oh, Rin. It's weird. No one seems to know where Bulma lives. I'm wondering if they really live here." Goku said, causing Rin to face-palm.

"Goku-kun, this is a large city with millions of people living in it, not some small mountain village of only 2.000 where everyone knows each other." Rin tried to explain.

"So?" Goku asked.

"What she's trying to say is that people in large towns and cities don't all know each other. Even in Konoha where the population is only around 50.000, there are a lot of people that I don't know." Naruto explained.

"Then how are we supposed to find out where Bulma lives?" Goku asked.

"Hmm… I doubt either of you have a cell, so we can't just call her." Rin said before asking "Do you know anyone else who lives in the area that might know?"

Naruto and Goku then looked at each other before Naruto spoke up.

"There is Yamcha-san who lives with her, I think."

"That's not gonna help." Rin said.

"What about Kame-Sennin? We know where he lives." Goku said.

"Would he know where Bulma-san lives, though?" Naruto asked.

"I guess not." Goku said as he looked down.

"Well, either way, first thing's first; we need to get some money, cause I'm broke, and I'm pretty sure you two are as well." Rin said before she began walking "Come on."

"Say, why do we need money, anyway?" Goku asked as they walked.

"Beats me." Naruto said with a shrug.

They walked for a while longer and eventually Rin noticed a large crowd of people over by a wall.

"What's going on here?" Rin asked as they approached the crowd.

"Hm? The champ over there's offering 100.000 Zeni to whoever can beat him. Apparently he's some Kenpo Master." A random guy in the crowd said.

"Hmm… I see." Rin said as she began pushing her way through the crowd.

"Okay! Who's next, who's next?! 100.000 Zeni! And all you have to do… is defeat me! Step right up! Hah!" The buff Kenpo Master said.

'Pretty cocky, isn't he. I'd love to knock him down a peg or two.' Rin thought before stepping out of the crowd as Naruto and Goku came up behind her.

"What, is that all? Sounds like an easy way to earn money to me." Rin said.

"Huh?!"

"Hey, I don't think that's such a good idea, miss."

"Get back before you get hurt."

Rin didn't pay the crowd any mind however, as she stared down the Kenpo Master.

"Hey, girlie, that's not funny." The Kenpo Master said.

"Just let me get ready first, will ya?" Rin said with a wink before putting her left hand on her right shoulder as she waved her right arm around while walking up to the wall. Then she put her left hand on the wall as she pulled back her right fist as everyone watched intently, some even gulping. Rin then thrusted her arm forward, and to everyone's shock, it went straight through the wall with cracks coming out from the hole.

She then pulled the arm back out as she looked at the Kenpo Master confidently.

"All right! Now I'm ready!"

The Kenpo Master held up a white flag, however, indicating his surrender.

"Whoa. We got so much money so easily." Naruto said as they were walking down the side-walk as Rin was counting the money they had earned.

"So what are we gonna do with all this money, anyway?" Goku asked.

"You'll find out soon." Rin said with a smile before stopping as she looked around "Wait here." She then walked over to a random passerby and seemed to ask him for directions as he began pointing around.

Naruto and Goku looked at each other in confusion.

Soon after, they walked into a building where the glass doors seemed to open by themselves, and Rin walked up to a counter in the lobby-like area.

"We need to use one of your computers." She said as she put down some of the money, and the clerk then gave her a small note and she thanked him before going over to the wall where a lot of computers were lined up on a table, and she sat down at one of them before booting it up as Naruto and Goku came up behind her.

"What is this place?" Goku asked.

"An Internet Café." Rin replied.

"An Inter-what-now?" Naruto asked in confusion.

"Simply put; the Internet is basically an interwoven web which extends to the entire World."

"Really? But if it extends to the whole World, then how come I've never seen it before?" Goku asked.

"It's… a bit more complicated than that. To put it in terms you would understand; the Internet, or World-Wide Web, is a large, invisible web in the sky which information travels through."

"But if it's invisible, then how do you know it's there?" Goku asked the simple question.

"I just do, all right?" Rin said as she resisted the urge to face-palm.

The computer then got fully booted up, and Rin entered the Web Browser, however, then she got a message to enter a username and a password. She looked down on the note she'd been given and then wrote down the username and password written on it.

"I still don't understand how this will help us find Bulma."

"I told you, didn't I? The Internet is a large web in the sky which has information travel through it."

Rin then went over to "favorites" to see that they had Google there, and she clicked on it. She then wrote down "West City Bulma" in the Google search engine that appeared on the middle of the screen, and a bunch of different options appeared (many of which were related to Capsule Corp.).

Rin clicked on the top option, and as luck would have it, she was brought to a news site which had apparently had a recent interview with at least one of the Bulmas living in the city, and as Rin scrolled down to a picture…

"Oh! That's her! That's Bulma!" Goku exclaimed.

"Huh? Okay… It seems she lives at…!" And her eyes widened.

Outside Capsule Corp.

"Whoa…! She lives in a house this big?!" Rin exclaimed "I knew the Capsule Corporation was a huge company, but I had no idea the home of the founder and his family would be this big! Makes me wonder how big their main office is." She then turned to the two boys standing to her left "You sure that was the right Bulma?"

"Yeah, it has to be!" Naruto said.

"HEY, BULMA!" Goku yelled his lungs off.

"Hey, pipe down, will you? There's no need to shout." Rin said before walking over to the intercom and she pressed the button before saying "Excuse me, but is there someone named Bulma-chan living here? We're friends of hers."

"Mistress Bulma is currently at school." A robotic voice could be heard.

"What the…?! A gh-ghost?!"

"This building talks?"

Rin face-faulted at her two companions' comments. They really were ignorant when it came to technology, weren't they?

"Well, anyway, it seems she's off at school." She turned to her companions "So, what are we gonna do now, then? Just sit here and wait?"

"Do we have any choice?" Naruto asked as he looked at Rin.

"Hey, I can smell Bulma's scent!" Goku proclaimed.

"Huh? But isn't it a little… Hey, wait. You're right." Naruto said as he could also pick up on the blunette's scent.

"There she is!" Goku exclaimed as he pointed to a scooter that was racing through the air towards them. It then screeched to a halt just in front of them.

"Bulma!" Goku and Naruto called out.

"Goku! Naruto!" Bulma exclaimed as she dismounted her scooter before walking up to them.

"You actually found your own way here?"

'So that's Bulma-chan, huh? Not too bad, if I do say so myself.' Rin thought as she looked at the interaction between Naruto and Goku and Bulma. Specifically, she was looking at Bulma's chest.

"Oh? And who're you?" The high-school girl asked as she noticed Rin.

"Oh, that's Rin. She's been helping us out." Goku said.

Rin smiled at her as she gave her a thumbs-up, causing Bulma to tilt her head as an imaginary question mark appeared above her.

"I see. Well, I'm Bulma. Nice to meet you." Then she noticed something, there was a long black and red appendage coming out just above the younger girl's rear 'She's got a tail, too?'

"By the way, Bulma-san. The reason we came here was because the Dragon Radar you gave us stopped working." Naruto said, catching the blunette's attention.

"Oh, is that so? Well, just come with me then and we'll have it fixed in a jiffy." Bulma said as she pointed with her thumb towards her house.

The four then walked towards the large building and entered through the main entrance.

"I thought you were at school?" Rin asked as she looked at Bulma.

"It was boring so I cut out."

"You really shouldn't cut school…" Rin said before thinking 'Then again, I haven't been to school in over a year now.'

"Welcome… miss." A Maid-bot said as they had entered the building.

"Where's dad?" Bulma asked as she looked at the Maid-bot.

"In… the… garden." The Maid-bot replied.

They then walked a little further in until they came to a square indentation on the wall, and Bulma pressed a series of buttons on a pad on the wall just next to the "indentation". The indentation then rose up, revealing itself as a door, and on the other side was a huge garden.

"Huh?! We're outside again?!"

"It's not "outside", it's the first floor garden."

"This reminds me of the 4th floor of Muscle Tower."

"You even have a whole garden in here? And it's full of Dinosaurs!"

Just as Naruto had said, the garden was indeed filled with Dinosaurs. Though there were also dogs and cats mixed in.

'Rika-chan would've probably liked it here.' Rin thought as she noticed the cats.

"Yeah, dad's got a soft spot for stray dogs, cats, and Dinosaurs." Bulma said, replying to what Naruto had said earlier.

"Kinda brings back bad memories." Naruto muttered to himself.

"What was that?" Bulma asked him, though she didn't get a reply.

"Bulma! What's cookin', sweetie?" They looked to see an elderly man in a lab coat and a black kitten on his shoulder riding a bike towards them.

"Ah! Daddy." Bulma said before gesturing to Goku "Remember I told you about Goku? Voila!"

"You don't say." Bulma's father said as he got off the bike before walking up to Rin and leaning down so he was on eye-level with her breasts "My, when Bulma told me about you, I didn't think you'd be so… voluptuous."

"DAD!" Bulma shrieked.

Rin then, without warning, put her hands on the sides of Mr. Briefs' head and then pulled him into her cleavage before letting go, causing Mr. Briefs to have a nosebleed before collapsing down onto the ground.

"Wai…! Wha…?" Bulma blinked a couple of times as she couldn't quite process what had just happened.

"Pulling their heads into your breasts is a very good attack against male and lesbian perverts. You should try it next time you run into one." Rin said with a smile as if she was talking about something completely normal before putting her right index finger on her cheek as she continued "Though, for optimal effect, flashing them is a valid strategy as well."

"Wha…?" Bulma said as she was blushing madly from what was coming out of the younger girl's mouth.

Red-Ribbon Army HQ

"Why did the enemy go to West City? There shouldn't be any Dragon Balls there." Commander Red said as he looked at the massive Dragon Radar that the Red-Ribbon had.

"Indeed…" Officer Black said.

"Commander Red!" An anthromorphic wolf said, catching the two's attention "We have a picture of all three kids that took down Colonel Silver plus an extra brat which seems to have helped them against Gen… I mean, Colonel White." And he gave Commander Red the picture.

Commander Red grunted at the picture before handing it back to the soldier as he spoke up.

"Fax these brats' picture to every unit – with orders to kill them on sight! Got that?!"

"Yes, sir!" The soldier said before heading off to do what he was told.

"Grrr…! How is it that we've got a radar encompassing all the expertise of our whole army… yet we're still struggling to find the Dragon Balls, while those kids just walks in and grabs 'em?"

"Somehow they must have found a detection device still more sophisticated…"

"May I add something?" Commander Red and Officer Black turned around at the sound of the new voice to find General Trolos standing there.

"General Trolos. Don't tell me you've already found one of the Dragon Balls." Commander Red asked.

"Not yet, I'm afraid. My men are still searching."

Had anyone else returned with that message, they would've been dead right there, but Trolos is different, being that as the mightiest General of the army, he is considered to be one of the four people that keeps the Red-Ribbon Army together, and so, he's too invaluable to kill. Not to mention that he also possesses powers that are truly out of this World.

"You said you wanted to add something. What was it?" Officer Black asked.

"It should've been quite obvious when the radar showed them going to West City." General Trolos answered.

"What do you mean?" Commander Red asked.

"Just think." General Trolos said as he raised a finger "Just like Black said, those kids must obviously have some kind of detection device that's even more technologically advanced than our own. Now, what global technological super power is it that makes West City their home?"

"A global technological super power in West City?" Officer Black asked as he was thinking "You mean the Capsule Corporation?"

"Exactly." General Trolos replied before continuing with his explanation "My hypothesis is that the Capsule Corporation is after the Dragon Balls for some purpose, just like us. And – the girl from Jingle Village aside – they're using these kids to get the balls."

"Hmm… I see. But why would they return to their base already?" Commander Red asked.

"They may just have decided to return after each Dragon Ball they find, however, that'd put Capsule Corp. in danger of being attacked by us, so I think it's more likely that during their battles at Muscle Tower, their radar got damaged in some way, and so they've returned to get it fixed." General Trolos explained.

"You don't suppose that they could have more people like those three, do you?" Officer Black asked.

"I doubt it. If they did, they would make enough radars for seven teams and send all teams out at the same time. The fact that they only sent out one team, however, means that they've only got those three." General Trolos said.

"General Trolos! I want you to take care of these pests! Hit them now while they won't suspect a thing, and take their radar while you're at it!" Commander Red ordered.

"I'm already ahead of you." General Trolos said, and Commander Red and Officer Black looked at him confused.

"I've already sent one of my best men to take care of them."

West City, outside Capsule Corp.

On the other side of the street from where the Capsule Corporation was was a young girl with long green hair who looked to be about 12 or 13 standing.

"So that's the Capsule Corporation, huh? Well, I wonder if those three will really give me a challenge. Supposedly, two of them got pretty far in the last Tenka'ichi Budokai."

She was Midori Green, a Lt. General of the Red-Ribbon Army, and one of the top officers serving directly under General Trolos. She was known as the "Tempest". And she was also the younger (?) sister of Lt. Green, another officer of the Red-Ribbon that our heroes have previously defeated.

Capsule Corp., Bulma's room

"I wish you'd treat this thing a little more gently…" Bulma said as she was almost finished with fixing the radar "All right! That should do it!"

"YAY!" Goku exclaimed.

Bulma then turned on the radar to see how many Dragon Balls Goku and the others had found.

"Huh? You've only found one D-Ball? You're sure taking you're time."

"Hee hee. It's been crazy trying to get 'em."

"Hmm…" Bulma then turned towards Naruto and Rin, both of which had gotten tired of waiting and were now sitting on Bulma's bed, sleeping. Rin resting her head on Naruto's left shoulder, and Naruto resting his head atop Rin's head 'Tee hee. They look pretty good together.'

"Hey, you love-birds. You can wake up, now." She said.

"Whuh? Huh?" Naruto woke up with Rin following after, the latter blushing slightly as she had noticed that she had been resting her head on the blond's shoulder, though she didn't know why.

"Say, why don't I come with you guys and help you out? That way, you won't have to return here every time the Dragon Radar gets broken." Bulma asked.

"Thanks. But that's okay. You'd just be in the way." Goku replied.

"What do you mean, "in the way"?! If I'd been helping you, you'd have found your grandpa's Four-Star Ball weeks ago!" Bulma yelled.

"But you can't ride Kinto'un, remember?" Naruto said as he and Rin approached them.

"Besides, there's barely enough room for three people on that thing as it is." Rin added.

"Ho ho ho! Take a look at this!" Bulma said as he held up her left arm to show off a strange watch wrapped around her wrist.

"A wrist watch?" Rin asked as she cocked her head to the side in confusion, an action which Naruto and Goku mimicked like monkeys.

"No, it's a Micro-Watch that I invented." Bulma said before continuing "All I do is press this switch… and look out!"

She then pressed it before shrinking down to about half a foot tall, surprising the three kids as their eyes widened.

'I can imagine a lot of perverts would want that. I want that.' Rin thought.

"COOL! You're as little as a mouse!" Goku exclaimed as he and Naruto had leaned down.

"Impressed, are you? Think how easy it'll be to carry me around like this!" Bulma said.

Just then, however, a foot came down, squishing her against the floor. The one who had stepped on her was a tall woman with blond hair who was wearing a red dress, and was carrying a round tray with four glasses on it which had some kind of liquid in them.

"My, my, my. You must be Goku. So nice to meet you. I'm Bulma's mom." The woman said as she looked at Goku.

Bulma then returned to her normal size, shocking her mother.

"I'd rather you didn't get under mommy's feet, honey." Mrs. Briefs said after Bulma had gotten to her feet.

"Then don't step on me!" Bulma yelled.

"You should be more careful where you shrink, sweet-heart." Mrs. Briefs said.

"You shouldn't come barging in on people!" Bulma yelled.

"I feel like this isn't a normal conversation for family to have." Naruto said.

"You got that right." Rin said.

Mrs. Briefs then leaned down towards the three kids as she held out the tray.

"I do so apologize for my daughter's manners. Here, have some sake."

"Don't serve alcohol to children!" Bulma yelled.

"Must you be so rebellious, dear?"

"Rrrrrr!"

"Actually, I'm with Bulma-chan on this one." Rin said.

"Hey, what about Yamcha and Oolong?" Goku asked, causing Bulma to freeze.

"Oh, yeah." Naruto said as he looked at Bulma as well.

"Yamcha, Oolong, and Pu'ar are all in school. But of course, this child is fighting with Yamcha right now. He's so handsome, you know, and she simply can't stand the fact that he's popular with the girls…"

"Will you shut up?!" Bulma yelled as she stared at her mother.

"I don't get it. If he's so popular with the girls, then why don't you just share?" Rin asked.

"Wha…?! You can't seriously mean that! If you found a hot guy, would you wanna share him if he was popular with the girls?!" Bulma asked.

"In a heartbeat." Rin responded instantly with no hesitation.

"Eh…?!" Rin's quick response, as well as what she had said almost caused Bulma's mind to break down.

"A-anyway…" Bulma spoke as she turned towards her mother "… I'm gonna join Goku, Naruto, and Rin searching for Dragon Balls. And this time, I'm gonna find a way better guy than Yamcha."

"In that case, maybe I should come along and find a man myself." Mrs. Briefs said.

"No, you don't!" Bulma yelled.

She then put on a jacket as she said "Come on, guys. Let's go."

"You're really going…?" Goku asked.

"Wanna bet how long it takes till she gives up?" Naruto asked.

"When she finds out about the Red-Ribbon for sure." Rin responded.

"Tch. Always so rebellious…" Mrs. Briefs said.

Just then, however, they heard what sounded like an explosion as the entire room shook.

"What was that…?!" Mrs. Briefs asked.

"Ah…! It came from the front entrance!" Bulma said.

"Come on, guys!" Goku yelled as he, Naruto, and Rin ran off.

"Ah, wait!" Bulma yelled.

Front entrance

All of a sudden, some strange, unexplainable force of nature had blown apart the front door, sending in a shockwave which had sent one of the maid-bots flying into the wall as it was smashed to pieces.

Six security robots rolled in and lined up as they waited for the intruder to emerge from the smoke. Once she did, revealing herself as a young girl, that did not do anything to deter the security robots as they immediately began firing a storm of bullets.

However…

The girl just slowly walked towards them in a straight line, yet, not a single bullet hit her. It wasn't that she was weaving her way through the hail of bullets, or that she was altering their trajectory in some way. She didn't even attempt to block them. She just walked normally, straight through the onslaught of bullets; yet, none of them seemed to hit her.

As she walked past the security robots, they were all suddenly sliced to pieces.

She hadn't done anything.

She had just walked past them normally, not even making any unusual movements with her hands or fingers. Yet, the robots had been thoroughly sliced apart as if a Samurai had repeatedly cut through each of them with a katana in quick succession.

The girl just continued walking, not paying the robots any mind. In fact, they probably never even registered on her danger senses.

She didn't stop till she stood before the door into the guarden.

"They're in here." She said in a monotone before she resumed walking.

As she approached the door, cuts suddenly started appearing on it out of nowhere. It wasn't just one or two cuts either; within a single second, there were already so many cuts on the area of the door directly in front of the girl that it had started bending inwards. And as the girl got closer to the door, a hole just big enough for her to pass through was opened up, and she passed through it.

The in-doors garden

Luckily, Mr. Briefs was no longer in the garden, and all of the animals must've sensed the approaching danger because they all had hurriedly fled to the other side of the room.

Standing at the very center of the garden, from right to left (Midori's point of view), was Naruto, Rin, and Goku.

As the single girl approached them, Naruto noticed the insignia on her clothes on the left side of her chest. She likely had a bigger one on her back.

"The Red-Ribbon." He said.

"But what would they be doing here?" Goku asked.

"Well, they must have a Dragon Radar of their own since they know where to look for Dragon Balls, so they likely just thought that this was our base when they saw us coming here, and decided to attack us when we'd least expect it." Rin said.

"They must be pretty cocky to send just a single girl, though. Especially with how we've been plowing through their forces till now." Naruto said.

"Aren't you the cocky one here?" The girl spoke.

She had stopped walking as she studied the three.

"You're a little too confident after just having defeated Silver and White." The way she said it, almost made it sound like she thought that anyone could've done what they did "I'll warn you that if you continue, your battles will only be getting harder. I hear that two of you supposedly made it pretty far in the last Tenka'ichi Budokai. Well, if my superior, General Trolos-sama had entered that tournament, it would've been decided the instant he signed up. The referees would've just given him the reward right off the bat."

"Even if that's true, you're only talking about your superior, right? It doesn't at all reflect on your own strength." Rin said.

"Perhaps. But don't take that as meaning that I'm weak. I'm Lt. General Midori Green of the Four Shields, also known as the "Tempest". I'm strong enough to be the guard of someone powerful enough to win the greatest of Martial Arts tournaments just by entering in his name." As she said that, a strong wind suddenly blew up inside the building, or at least, that's what the three kids thought, but they realized a moment later that it wasn't win at all, but rather an effect of Midori's Killing Intent.

Then the fight began as Midori appeared before them, causing them to jump away in different directions on reflex.

Goku then pulled out his Nyoi-bo before extending it as he swung it down on Midori. However, she merely just stepped to the side to avoid it before ducking under the fist that came from behind her.

"You're leaving yourself wide open."

She then merely put her hand on Rin's stomach, and the girl's eyes widened as she was suddenly assaulted by some invisible force… FROM WITHIN HER OWN BODY!

Rin collapsed to the ground as Naruto had summoned a clone to help him form a Rasengan. Midori, however, somehow covered the distance between them in a fraction of a second.

"Such a method of using an attack like that is impractical in the midst of battle. Takes way too much time." She just tapped the clone, causing it to disappear as Naruto in the meantime received numerous cuts all over his body.

"Ka… me… ha… me…" Midori just looked disinterestedly over her shoulder at Goku, who was charging up his Kamehameha.

"HA!" And he fired the Turtle-Destruction Wave at Midori, who just stood there.

That's when she did the unthinkable. She extended her right arm towards the oncoming attack, her palm open.

Then, as the wave hit her, it was completely stopped by her palm, with the energy from the wave being spread out around her.

"This attack is too huge, and must take way too much energy." Midori said before the wave stopped.

"Huh? Wha…?" Goku asked as he saw that Midori was still standing there in one piece.

She then balled three of her fingers and her thumb so that only her index finger was pointing towards Goku.

Goku's eyes then widened before he suddenly fell to the ground.

Later

"Hey, guys! What's going on…?!" Bulma asked as she entered the garden, however, she froze when she saw the scene before her. Goku, Naruto, and Rin had all been knocked out.

"Wh-what happened here?!" She asked as she ran over to them.

"That girl…! She was a lot stronger than I had expected." Rin said as she climbed to her feet.

"She took us out with one move each." Naruto said as he sat up.

"She even managed to block my Kamehameha." Goku said as he got up on one knee.

"She blocked your Kamehameha? Who did?" Bulma asked in shock.

"We need to get stronger till the next time we run into her." Naruto said as he rose to his feet, soon followed by Goku.

"Yeah." Goku said.

"Huh? Hey, Goku-kun, you're hurt." Rin said, pointing at the spiky-haired boy's abdomen.

"Huh?" Goku looked down to see a dark red spot on his right side "When did this happen?"

'I don't think I've ever seen Goku injured before…' Bulma thought with wide eyes. She'd even seen him being chopped atop the head with an axe, and the axe-blade shattered whereas Goku only got a small bump on his head.

"But there's one thing I don't understand. Why did she let us live?" Rin asked.

"No." Goku caught everyone's attention "It's not that she let us live. By not killing us, she was telling us that they could just come kill us at any time." This caused Naruto and Rin to gulp.

"Come on, guys. Let's get going." Naruto said, and Goku and Rin nodded while Bulma just looked confused.

Elsewhere

"Trolos-sama." Midori said as she approached the Red-Ribbon General from behind. Currently, he was standing on a cliff overlooking a large forest, and in the distance was the Red-Ribbon HQ.

"Midori. How did your mission go? Have you disposed of your targets?"

"Uh. Well, not quite. Turns out that they were so insignificant that we don't even need to worry about them. We can just finish them off whenever we feel like it." Midori said before cowering slightly, expecting Trolos to scold her.

"… I see."

"Huh?" She looked at him in surprise.

"If they're still alive, then that means that they'll get stronger. Next time you run into them, the battle might turn out very differently."

"Huh? What do you…?" She trailed off.

Trolos stared off in the distance before turning around and walking past Midori.

"Come. We must gather the other "Shields"."

General Blue "Don't tell me you haven't found it yet! Commander Red is furious!"

Rin "Okay then, guess we'll just have to swim down and get it."

Bulma "WHY'RE YOU NAKED?!"

Turtle "Master Kame-Sennin! Goku's returned!"

Muten-Roshi "What? Did you say… "Goku and Naruto"?"

Bulma "Next time on Dragon Ball Shippuden: General Blue."

Muten-Roshi "Well, hello there. And who would you be?"

Affiliation: Red-Ribbon Army (former), Jingle Village.

Affinity: none

Likes: His friends, Peace.

Info: Eighter was created as one of the Android-line of the Red-Ribbon Army's weapons. However, despite being a "weapon", he didn't want to fight, so he was locked up. When he found the Dragon Ball that the Red-Ribbon was looking for in the area around Jingle Village, he was about to hand it over to General White, but instead decided to hide it when he heard that they planned to raise the village to the ground after finding the ball. Later when Goku, Naruto, Rin, and Suno stormed Muscle Tower, Eighter deserted to their cause and later gave the ball to Goku, Naruto, and Rin.

Kurama no Kyubi: I honestly wasn't planning on adding Trolos or his subordinates into this chapter, though I thought I could include them to hype them up a little. After this though, it'll be some time till the next time we see them. Well then, till next time.
