Oh My Primus! I am SOOOOOOOOO sorry for the late update. I would have updated sooner, but my evil step-father took my laptop for a couple weeks when I was half-way through this chapter so when I got it back, I had started school and I could barely find any time to work on this. Then yesterday, I was like 'Frag it all!' and typed the last of the chapter up.
Thank you to everyone who reviewed, it means a lot to me :D
I don't own anything except for my OC(s)
Thank you TransFanFreak101 for betaing! I really appreciate it! :]

Chapter 20
"Are you ready?"
"... No."
"You'll do fine," Optimus reassured.
I looked up to him as I stood in front of the active groundbridge with Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, both in their alt-modes and their holoforms active, me in my human form.
"Says you." I took a deep breath and turned back to the swirling mass of light that made up the groundbridge.
"Don't worry Little Flower, Sunny and I will be with you the entire time." Sideswipe reassured.
I looked to his holoform and smiled. "I know, it's just... It's just I have a bad feeling about this, that's all." I waved to everyone who was there and took a deep breath before getting into Sideswipe's waiting alt. He closed the door as soon as my feet were clear. He and Sunstreaker both drove into the awaiting groundbridge.
On the other side of the groundbridge, we found ourselves on a back road away from any houses and where people can see us. Sideswipe continued driving with Sunny in front of us. The ride was silent the whole way. I'm pretty thankful since I didn't really want to talk.
Two hours later, we arrived in Spokane, Washington and were pulling up to the house I would be living in till I was eighteen and could make whatever decisions I wanted to (to an extent). I looked at the quiet suburban house and got out. It looked like any normal house. The entire house was white while green bushes surrounded it. There was a set of stairs that led up to the front door and a high wooden fence around the backyard. The front yard was medium sized with freshly cut green grass and flowers, some dying and while others were just blooming, by the driveway. Colorful wind chimes hung near the front door while barbies, toy cars, and anything else kids now-a-days play with littered the stairs and yard. Yep. Just another normal house in a big city.
As I took in the house, a small black cat with yellow eyes came running up to me. It started rubbing me and purring like there was no tomorrow.
"Salem!" I cried happily and reached down to grab my kitten. Although he was now the size of a regular cat, but I still think he's a kitten. I picked him up and hugged him close as he purred and rubbed my face with his. I grinned and smothered him with loves.
"Come on Little Flower," Sideswipe said as he nudged me towards the house that would be my new home. I started walking toward the house with Salem still in my arms and walked up the stairs, careful not to step on any toys. Reaching the door, Sunstreaker rang the doorbell. A few seconds later, the door opened to reveal my Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam was in like his forty's and had brown hair that was peppered with gray hair and of course he was taller than me by about a head (no surprise there really). He gave me a hug and invited us in.
We walked through a small hallway that led into the huge living room that was lower than the rest of the floor and surrounded by a railing so someone wouldn't fall by accident. It was about a three to four foot drop and for a five year old like Beverly, that was a pretty big drop. Up on the normal floor level was a descent sized kitchen with an island the only thing separating the rest of the house from the kitchen. There was also a small separate room where people could sit around and talk without the distraction of the TV. Connected to that room was the dining room with a table that had what looked like drying finger paintings on it. Right next to the living room was the stairs that led upstairs. It too had a railing on it to keep anyone from falling.
In the living room, we sat on the couches. Sunstreaker leaned against the wall while Sideswipe was sitting on the arm of the couch next to me. Well, he was until Auntie Marie shooed him off. So he plopped down next to me. Salem jumped into my lap and quickly became a purring heap of fur in no time as I petted him.
"Alright," Auntie Marie started by addressing my newly reinstated guardians. "Even if you are giant robots, I expect you two to follow the rules. They are pretty simple. Clean up after yourself," I elbowed Sideswipe as a hint. He of course elbowed me back, we both kind of have a 'clean up after yourself' problem. Siders more than me, though. "No fighting, no shouting, no swearing. You will do any chores around the house that need to be done. If you hurt my kids in any way, I don't care who or what you are, I will kill you. Also Lily, if you are out, we expect you to be home by no later than ten p.m." She finished.
I nodded and added, snickering, "And it doesn't matter how badaft you are, if Beverly hands you a toy phone, you had better answer it." I turned to Sunstreaker since I was mainly talking to him. I saw him smirk.
"So," Sideswipe spoke up as he looked around. "Where's the sparklings?"
Uncle Sam put on a confused look. "Sparklings?"
"Babies or little kids." I clarified. "And it's a Monday Sides, Will and Dianna are probably at school." I looked to Auntie Marie. "But where's Beverly?"
"Daycare."
I turned back to Sideswipe. "She's in daycare which means she is most likely not going to be home for quite a while." I turned back to my aunt and uncle. "I don't have to share a room, do I?"
"Yes," Uncle Sam answered. "You'll be sharing a room with Dianna. We haven't bought anything yet so we'll be doing that later." I slumped in my seat at the thought of having to share a room with a twelve year old. "We weren't sure about you two so we haven't done anything."
Auntie Marie got up off of the couch. "C'mon, I'll show you your new room." I moved Salem onto the floor and stood up. I followed her up the stairs with Salem staying at my feet and the guys stayed downstairs.
Upstairs, the walls were covered in pictures of my cousins and aunt and uncle. Pictures they drew, playing sports and family portraits. The room I would be sharing with Dianna was at the end of the hall on the right, overlooking the street. It was a pretty decent sized room. It was probably twice the size of my previous room when I was living with my parents.
The thought of my parents brought a sting to my eyes. I quickly blinked away the tears.
Unfortunately while the furniture was all on one side of the room, pictures and posters covered every inch of the walls.
Oh boy. I'm going to have fun with this.
A few hours later of learning what would be happening in the next few weeks, we left the house to pick up Dianna and Will from school and Beverly from daycare then we were off to Ikea in Idaho.
Inside Ikea, Sideswipe had a lot of fun touching things. I swear that mech has ADD. He sat on every couch, laid on all the beds and played with all the toys. My uncle only laughed at Sides while my aunt was giving him 'The Look'.
My cousins took to Sunny and Sides better than I originally thought they would. Which I'm truthfully grateful for. Unfortunately Dianna has a huge crush on them which surprisingly irritates me a lot. She's practically glued to them. And her flirting is so annoying! She's trying everything to get them to notice her. While yes, they're in their holoforms, but can't she see they're older than her by a lot? At the moment though, I can only sigh and roll my eyes at her.
Will absolutely loved Sideswipe. He followed Siders and happily played with him. And Beverly, well, Beverly just loves everyone. I find it extremely cute that Sunstreaker actually pays attention to her rather than blow her off like he normally does to most humans. Instead he gives her attention and is willing to give her piggyback rides. Which is another thing I found really cute.
A pang of loneliness hit me, almost making me warp by the surprise emotion. The new emotion confused me. Why am I so lonely if I'm with my favorite mechs and family?
I didn't have long to ponder the emotion as Sideswipe snuck up behind me and proceeded to pick me up and toss me onto the bed I was passing. I 'eeked' in surprise. I turned to glare at the mech when he suddenly jumped on me. He started tickling me before I could do anything. I giggled as he found new places I was ticklish in. And of course he somehow managed to find my wings as I tried to roll away. I practically squealed as he found them.
"S-stop it y-you f-fragger!" I gasped between laughing, my fans kicking in high. I so wish I could warp right about now, but it's kinda hard to when in the middle of a large store filled with people. I silently groaned as I imagined all of the looks we were getting.
A second pair of hands joined in and helped attack my wings.
"Say uncle!" I heard Sideswipe laugh.
"N-never!" I gasped. I jolted and squeaked when a hand touched a sensitive spot where my wings connected to my back. "U-uncle! Uncle!" The hands disappeared, leaving me gasping for breath as my quite-but-loud fans cooled my heated systems down.
"Feel better?" Sunstreaker asked from above me. I only groaned as my hidden wings continued to tingle. A few minutes later, my fans slowed to the point you could barely hear them.
"I hate you guys," I mumbled as I up. "You got ma wings and they're still tinglin'." I felt them sit on either side of me as I rubbed my eyes and switched on my sonar since I lost my visor. I saw Sunny holding them. I kinda wished I looked to Sides first. If I did, I'm pretty sure I would have seen him with a mischievous grin.
I started reaching for my visor disguised to look like the sunglasses soldiers wear when I felt a hand brush the hyper sensitive sensory net in my wings right on the joint. I gasped and jerked away from Sideswipe's hand. A new tingle ran through me, making me shiver. And I'm not talking about the tingle that comes from a scan. This tingle was different, like a tingle that felt good.
I closed my eyes and leaned on Sunstreaker as it passed. After only a small lingering tingle was left, I opened my eyes and snatched my visor from Sunny's hand. I put it on and everything flickered a few times before my sight was once again filled with colors. I blinked a few times before looking to Sideswipe. I saw him looking at his twin, frowning. Turning to the latter of the two, I saw him glaring at Sides. They were most likely talking over their bond. I looked between them a few times before quickly jumping up and walking away, leaving them to whatever they were talking about.
As I walked, I tried to ignore what was left of the tingling as it now came and went in small waves. I shivered again at the feeling as it passed over me again. I managed to walk into another section of beds when I more or less sensed two bodies behind me. I felt a hand on my arm so I turned to its owner to see it belonged to a concerned and worried looking Sideswipe while Sunstreaker was frowning.
"We didn't hurt you did we?" Sideswipe asked, concerned.
I shook my head and smiled at them. "No, you just got the base of my wings which is more sensitive than I thought and I also wasn't ready for you to go and start tickling me."
Sideswipe nodded before smiling. "You just looked a little down and we thought you could use some cheering up. We don't really like seeing you all depressed and frowning. It's just not your look." Sideswipe leaned in close and put a hand by his mouth and whispered, "I don't know about Sunshine over there, but I think you look better when you smile."
Did Sideswipe just... I mentally shook my head. Nawww.
I grinned and patted his chest. "Well then consider me cheered up!" I walked away to find my bed.
I walked by tons more beds and dismissed all of them. They were all just too bland and normal looking. Just for the fun of it, I walked into the area of the kids beds and found what I was looking for. I grinned and threw my arms above me.
"I found my new bed!" I shouted before jumping spread eagle onto the bed. I laughed at the odd looks parents gave me. It's not every day you see a teenager on a kid's bed made to look like a car.
Sunstreaker raised an eyebrow as he watched. "A Lamborghini?"
"Would you rather have me choose the police car?" I pointed my thumb at the next bed over.
"Well I think you chose the right car." Sideswipe said.
I grinned up at him and got off the bed. "Yeah well, it's not too hard to figure out what you think." Sunstreaker smirked.
"Hey!" Sideswipe cried.
"Oh, no offense!" I raised my hands in a mock surrender. I quickly turned and walked away.
"Offense taken!" Sideswipe called from behind before running to catch up to Sunstreaker and I.
We were quite for a few minutes as we headed back to the beds that would actually fit me. After a little bit of wandering, I finally found a bed that I liked. Two actually. They were both from Starwars. One was the Millenium Falcon while the other was a Y-Fighter that was like a bunk bed except no bottom bed. Oh the choice is gonna kill me.
"What's Starwars?" Sideswipe asked as he looked at the tag. I slowly turned to him with wide eyes.
"You. Don't know what Starwars is?" I asked with disbelief.
He shook his head. "No. Should I?"
"Use your Google before I kill you mech!" He and Sunstreaker jumped as I suddenly shouted. His holoform's eyes went distant as he searched the internet. He returned a minute later and slouched.
"I think I should have known that." He mumbled before perking back up. "So you pick one out yet?"
I raised a finger as I silently listed the pro's and cons of each bed. "I'll take the Falcon." I said after a few minutes.
At the house, I was sipping on my energon Sideswipe brought with him and watched Cars with Beverly, Dianna, Will, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. I was happily squished between my guardians while Dianna sat on Sideswipe's other side. Beverly and Will sat on the floor. Uncle Sam was upstairs putting my new furniture together while Auntie Marie was on her computer in the office upstairs.
I heard a huff on the other side of Sideswipe. Peaking over, I raised an eyebrow at Dianna and returned to watching the movie. I inwardly grinned and finishing my energon, I leaned on Sunstreaker and rested my head on his shoulder. He put an arm around my shoulders so I snuggled closer. I heard another huff. Yeah. She was so jealous.
Halfway through the movie, Uncle Sam came down the stairs and saw me and Sunny. He gave Sunstreaker a look that said "Get away from my niece before I murder you". Sunstreaker sent back his own glare as I sighed and pulled away.
"Uncle Sam," I sighed. "I'm a giant robot and they're my guardians." My spark hurt a little as I said that.
Uncle Sam crossed his arms over his chest. "I don't care. While you're living under this roof, you will follow the rules we give you. Understood?" I opened my mouth to reply, but Sideswipe beat me to it.
"Don't worry; we would never do anything that would hurt our charge." As he said this, he grinned and reached over and ruffled my hair. My engine growled as I swatted his hand away and fixed my hair.
"Doesn't matter."
Still glaring, Sunstreaker opened his mouth to say something, but I cut him off.
"Are my things put together?" I blurted. Uncle Sam nodded. I jumped up off of the couch and quickly hugged him. I gave him my thanks before running up the stairs to the room I was now sharing with Dianna. My new bed was stuffed in a corner while my shelf, dresser, and desk were clustered by each other next to my bed. I walked in and started taking down Dianna's posters and pictures off my side of the room which was on the left.
"Need some help sweetspark?" I turned to see Sideswipe and Sunstreaker at the door. I nodded. I was about to turn back to my work when I caught sight of Dianna walking in. I only frowned and returned back to what I was doing.
"Hey!" She shouted as soon as she saw what I was doing. "What are you doing?"
I turned to her. "My side, your side. Your side, my side." I pointed to each side as I talked.
"Yeah? So what's your point?"
My eye twitched. In the corner of my eye, I could see the Twins glance at each other before slowly making their way out of the room. I ignored them and continued to stare at my cousin. As soon as I heard the door click shut, I spoke up.
"My point? My point is that I like my space." I hissed at her.
Dianna crossed her arms over her chest and put all her wait on her right leg. "I like my space too, and you're invading in it." She smirked, "I also like your guardians. And since they're just that, your guardians, I think I'll go after them and make them mine."
Oh she didn't just... She did! She's taking claim to MY Twins! Wait... 'my'? Where did that come from? I ignored the slip of my train of thought and instead focused on quelling something deep inside me that I have managed to keep hidden for all my life. A snarl still managed to escape. And I'm not talking a 'human' snarl. I'm more of talking 'wild animal' snarl.
As soon as the snarl escaped, Dianna's smirk disappeared and I saw a glint of fear in her eyes as she went rigid. The part of me that I was trying to suppress took pleasure in her fear.
Put her in her place. Show her who is in control! Thoughts that weren't my own, yet they were at the same time, told me.
'No!' I silently snarled. I repressed the urge to harm the only blood family I had left. I closed my eyes tight and grimaced as I fought to control the unwilling emotions that welled up inside me like a forest fire. 'I will not hurt my family!'
Eventually, after what felt like eternity, the feeling died down to the point I could safely open my eyes and look at my cousin without the voice telling me to hurt her. When I did open my eyes, what I saw surprised me. I saw Dianna pressed against the farthest wall from me with Sunstreaker and Sideswipe kneeling in front of me, both with worried expressions. I looked at them with confusion. When did they get here? And how did I end up on the floor?
"You alright, Lily?" Sideswipe asked. I looked at him for a few seconds, blinking as my mind tried to catch up with what had happened. When I finally registered what he said, I nodded. He didn't look convinced.
"What happened?" This time Sunstreaker asked. I hesitated as I tried to figure that out myself.
"I... I don't... know..." I told him half truthfully. How was I supposed to tell them that a part of me wanted to severely maim my cousin to the point where she would need life support for the next month or two?
"Are you sure?" Sunny asked, still unconvinced. I could only nod dumbly.
I looked up at Dianna to see her eyes as big as saucers and shaking with fear. "Ann?" I asked hesitantly as I tried to get up, but found my legs like jello.
"G-get away from me freak!" She cried as she suddenly bolted from the room.
I fell back down heavily and a look of hurt passed over my features.
She's right. I am a freak... But... But what did I do?
I felt arms around me. "It's alright, sweetspark," I heard Sideswipe murmur to me quietly, "don't listen to her."
How can I not? I closed my eyes and leaned into Sideswipe's warm chest. I felt another set of arms wrap around me. A tear slid down my cheek as I took a shuddering breath.
"I wanna go home..."
Well that's new. Wonder what that voice was... Well I know, but you don't ;) I just also had to make a tickling scene. It's been bugging the heck out of my mind because I haven't written it out yet, until now. And poor Lily, don't listen to the snob that is your cousin. She doesn't know what is in store for your future.
Lily: ... I'm kinda worried now...
Mwahahahah! You should be :D
Lily: O.o
Anyways, I will definitely try harder to get the next chapter up. Please review, favorite and/or follow! I love to hear from you all and what you think of the story :)
