Okay, I know this story has been narrated by Kai up to this point but to get all the emotion and feeling in the rest of the story, Aryan and Cole have to tell a little of the story too. Oh, and I finally finished my first piece of fan art on this story! Yay! I'm not quite done with the big one yet, but I finished the little movie poster thing! Just go to DeviantArt and look up "LegionInfinity" or "December 21st"! Thanks for being so supportive!

Kai's POV

Watching Aryan sit on the floor and try to make sense of everything that had happened made my head hurt, especially since she was just sitting there with her eyes closed. Like she didn't have a care in the world.

"I don't think we're getting anywhere with this." Aryan opened her eyes and gave her older brother the death stare. He put his hands up as a way of surrender and took a step back. "Sorry, Sis, but I don't think that you sitting on the floor in complete silence is going to help us solve anything."

"Cole's right." I butted in before an argument took place. " What do we have to gain from you sitting on the ground and doing nothing?" Aryan stood up and her body locked into a defensive position Though she was a few inches shorter than me, when she got that look in her eye, I knew to back off. She walked over and looked me in the eye, arms crossed.

"There not looking for power. It's something else." I gave her probably the most confused look I have ever given someone in my entire life. She tilted her head and rolled her eyes. "Of the six of us that Armageddon had hanging from chains..."

"Woah," I said, cutting her off, "you guys were hanging from..." Aryan put her finger up to my lips.

"Don't interrupt me." I nodded and she pulled her finger away. " Armageddon had, under his thumb, the six most powerful beings in all of Ninjago. But the two he decided to let go were the science experiment with all sorts of amazing powers and the strongest and best fighter we have on the team. So my question is: what do the others' posses that he wants so badly?" We were all silent for a long time, until Cole, who was leaning against the closed door, snapped his head up.

"It's not what they posses," he said as he walked over toward Aryan and I, "it's the leverage they have." Aryan looked as him, the curiosity budding in her eyes.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean," Cole said as he wrapped his arms around both of our shoulders, "he didn't let us go because of our strengths. He let us go because of our weaknesses." Aryan's head snapped to the side and she gave her brother a look of horror.

"He...he can't do that. Can he?"

"He's a villain. He can do whatever the hell he wants, Aryan."

"Right." She said as she sat down on the dark floor. After a few seconds, she placed he heads in her hands. "No. No. I can't. That's like asking me to...to..."

"To what?" I asked. "What the hell are you guys talking about?"

Cole looked over at me, his arm still around my shoulders. "The others are bait."

"Bait for what?" I asked.

"Bait for us." Aryan said as she stood up.

Cole took his arm off my shoulders and turned to face me. "Nya is your sister. You treat Lloyd like he's your own son. Zane is Aryan's..." Cole's voice trailed off, then he shook his head. "And all of you are like family to me. I could never hurt any of you." Finishing his statement, Cole walked over to the door and twisted the knob. Aryan and I held our breath as the door...didn't budge.

"Well, that's just great," I said, "we're still stuck in here, and we still have no idea what it wants from us." Aryan hadn't said much in a while, so I looked over at her, to see if anything was wrong. She was just sitting there, staring off into space.

"Um, Aryan?" Cole said, trying to hide the concern in his voice. "Sis, are you okay?"

"Any insights on the problem at hand?" Cole shot me a look, and I chose not to say anything else.

"Aryan, I know your upset about what you have to do, but we really need your help," Cole said as he pulled his still unresponsive sister into his arms, "Come on, Aryan. Please?" Okay, I had about enough of this. She was basically the only one who could figure out this problem, and she wasn't answering us!

"God dammit, Aryan! ANSWER US!" Cole seemed a little taken aback by my outburst, as his dark eyes looked me over with a horrified expression. "Sorry," I sighed, "It feels like I've been in here forever."

"That was only part of the puzzle." Both of us looked over in surprise at the girl. She stood up and looked at us, placing her hands on her hips. She gave me a questioning look "God dammit?" I shrugged.

"I've been in here for a while." She shook her head.

"You've been in here for three hours."

"It feels like I've been in here longer." She rolled her eyes, then looked over at Cole.

"Though you figured out the first part of the puzzle, the second part wasn't as obvious. He chose us, because he wanted a fight. A real fight."

"What the hell does that mean?" I crossed my arms across my chest.

"Do you remember when we first started our training? How Sensei made us punch a tree over and over again? What was the outcome of doing that for months on end?" We thought about it for a while, then Cole spoke up.

"I actually have no idea what it accomplished."

"Yeah," I said, "me neither." Aryan shrugged, then she walked over to the door, then punched it, as hard as she could.

"Woah! Woah!" Cole and I screamed at the same time.

"What the hell are you doing?" Shouted Cole. "Were you trying to make yourself bleed?" Aryan glanced down at the stream of red that was dripping off her knuckles. Without missing a beat, she ripped off the lower part of her sleeve and mopped up the blood as she wrapped up her hand. She turned to look at us.

"What did you notice about my little demonstration?" She asked with a smug look.

"Um," I started, "you're clinically insane?" She gave me her signature look before she walked over and smacked me upside the head. "Ow." I mumbled, to quietly for her to hear.

"How many screams did you hear when I did that?" She asked, addressing the both of us. Cole, the only one of us that was good at math besides Zane, spoke up.

"Two."

"Right," Aryan said with a slight nod in his direction, "but how many of them came from me?" Cole and I glanced at each other.

"None." I said hesitantly.

"Correct." She said, letting her voice get slightly quieter. She held up her busted hand. "What hours and hours standing outside of the Dojo and punching a tree over and over again accomplished, was it killed the nerves in our hands. No matter how hard we punch, we won't feel a thing." She glanced at both of our confused looks. She let out a short, aggressive sigh and rolled her eyes. "Just try it."

Without letting the confused looks slide off our faces, we carefully stepped towards the door. After we had both given the door our angriest punches, we realized she was right. We hadn't felt a thing. "It built up our immunity." She said quietly. "And that's why he chose us."

I looked at her confused. "He chose us because we can punch stuff without getting hurt? We all trained with that tree." Aryan gave us her signature smirk and walked over to the door. As she laid her hand on the knob, she turned to look at us.

"My mother treated Cole and I like we were dirt. She beat us and mistreated us, and our father turned a blind eye to the whole thing." I heard Cole sharply suck in his breath beside me, but I pretended not to notice. "Kai, after the death of your mother, your sister began to rebel. She turned away any help you offered, and acting like your best wasn't enough." I flinched slightly. Aryan turned back towards the knob. "He chose us, because we built us immunity to abuse." She whispered, almost too quietly to hear.

She swung her head and took a reassuring look at us. "Well, boys. See you on the other side." With that, she twisted the knob and the door creaked open, covering us in a never ending darkness.

Sorry I didn't follow through on my plan to let everyone have a POV, it's just that SOME people were being really impatient with me, so I'll give you all a fair warning now. The next chapter will be long and the suspense will pile on like butter on a pancake. I will not have the next chapter up for a very long while, but it will be worth it in the end. Don't forget to R&R!
