Dark plans
Was it his birthday? He mused or perhaps it was Christmas? That's what it felt like. Delic grinned checking changing his suit into a fresh one identical to the one he dumped into the laundry. White, perfectly dazzling white. The colour his wings had never been. Not like Tsugaru or Shitsuo. Not even like the cotton fluff balls that were his youngest brother's pure wings.
His black wings contrasted nicely against his suit jacket. Checking everything was satisfactory- no not satisfactory. Everything needed to be perfect. The dream connection had only been a teaser. There had been no doubt in his mind that he would find a way to get his adorable brother away from the clutches of the manipulative demon. The fallen angel just didn't expect it to happen this soon.
Humming happily to himself Delic reached for his white and magenta headphones that completed the outfit slipping them neatly over his gel spritzed hair. Perfect. Brushing his bangs out of the way the blond checked himself again in the full length mirror. "Wha-" Leaning forward a small gasp escaped him seeing a dark patch under his eye. Bags? He had bags?
Typical. His angelic brothers weren't even here and they were ruining things. Didn't they realise he was a night owl? When the good salary men and women went home to rest, he was up and on his way to charming money from his customers. Everyone that entered his establishment left with an empty wallet.
Yet his brothers had decided to make a racket of their feelings through the link connecting them keeping him awake. Admittedly most of it did come from Shizuo but he forgave him. The phone on the top of the dresser chimed. "I know." Delic muttered in irritation. Throwing open the drawer he reached for the concealer.

Perfect. Just perfect. There in the centre of the lobby stood his younger brother and most important person. Not counting the dream it had been so long since they had last seen each other let alone touch. Delic felt his breath hitch, chest tightening. Shizuo had grown, the anger was still there leaking through the surface.
Stopping himself from swooping down the stairs, Delic grasped the banister slowly making his way down the stairs. "Beautiful." He breathed to himself unable to take his eyes away. Shizuo smiled a little sheepishly raising a hand. Really, it was too adorable.
"Shizuo, I'm surprised to see you." The fact that his angel brother was in demon territory was a little concerning but that wasn't all. The bright blond locks had vanished taking their place was a chocolate brown.
"Hi, Delic. Sorry I couldn't see you sooner." Shizuo sighed looking down. Just what had that interfering cat demon done to his brother? "Do you think I could stay with you? I don't have anywhere else to go." Hiding a grin Delic nodded slowly.
"What are family for? Come on up." Turning on his heel Delic grinned leading the younger angel up to his room. The perfect chance. Last time he had been interrupted. Not this time. Unless every one of his brothers had become fallen, it was just the two of them like he had wished for all the time.
"Thanks...You haven't said anything."
Glancing over his shoulder the fallen angel placed a finger on his lips. "Wait until we're in my apartment. There are Orihara spies everywhere."
"What?" Delic shrugged walking on ahead his fingers twitching. So close.

"Here we are." The host declared pushing the door open. Licking his lips as his younger brother crossed the threshold, Delic slipped inside closing the door. It was a little earlier than he was used to but for his beloved brother he would suffer being sleep deprived. "Now, why don't you tell me why you're here?"
"...Its a long story."
"I have all the time in the world. I own the club." Delic covered a yawn taking a seat in one of the white chairs. Just like his attire everything was white and pink. "Take a seat. You're safe here."
"Are you sure about that?" His brother said bitterly glancing at the window and door.
"Yes. We're safe even from the ruler of this city." Delic's eyes narrowed seeing Shizuo visibly relax. Something had happened with the damn cat demon and he wasn't happy about it. Shizuo was his. He hadn't fallen just to hand his brother over to some other shitty demon.
"Okay. Everyone else knows. Its not a secret any more." Paying attention to the muttered words. His pink gaze drank in the sight in front of him. Licking his lips Delic gulped watching Shizuo undo the buttons to the shirt that looked strangely like the ones he had given his male bar staff to wear. "Eh?" Feeling his jaw drop, the host stood slowly making his way over to Shizuo. Or more like the strange tattoo on the angel's chest.
At least it had better be a tattoo. Because to him it looked like a demon's birthmark. There were only two ways to get one. The first was to be born a demon. The second was to mate with a demon, their mark becoming yours. "Shizuo, is that a tattoo?"
"No. I thought you'd know. Tsugaru did." The shirt was shrugged off falling over perfectly sculptured shoulders. Delic's gaze though fixated on the large wings spread out before him that shimmered like the setting sun. Never had he seen Shizuo's wings before believing that they were as pure as the rest despite his violent temper.
Delic had always known he didn't fit in. He was the black sheep in the family and after his awakening he had been proved right. Shizuo's wings though were blood red. Sin. That was why they hadn't been allowed to bathe together or when their mother snapped at them for sleeping in the same bed. "You're half demon." The host breathed in disbelief.
"Yeah. Half demon, half angel. I'm locked out of heaven. I can't go home." Taking a step back Shizuo's wings vanished from view. Already he wanted to see them again. To touch them. Kiss them.
"Of course you can stay here. We'll have to share a bed. So this is your real hair colour." Delic mused taking a thick strand between the tips of his fingers. Blond hair never really suited his brother anyway. There was too much fire in Shizuo's eyes. He hadn't been the only outcast.
"Yeah. Thanks Delic." Trust was a dangerous thing and towards him, Shizuo was giving it unconditionally believing that his misunderstood long lost brother only had good intentions. It was cute how naïve the half angel was. Cute enough to risk using his power and taking what he wanted. Taking a step back Delic closed his wandering eyes trying to calm himself and not give into temptation. Not this early in the game anyway.
"You're welcome. Make yourself at home. If you need anything just ask." That infernal phone was ringing again in his pocket. Why couldn't his staff sort out their own problems without him. Didn't they know that he wanted to spend time with his lovely brother? Slipping a hand into his pocket the fallen angel ended the call with a wicked smile on his face.
"I'm going to need some clothes. I couldn't bring anything with me. The flea got me a few bits..." Shizuo trailed off averting his eyes. Blushing? Was his brother blushing? Grinding his teeth Delic gave his best smile. Not his award winning charming smile that he enchanted everyone with. No this one was purely for the one he loved.
"Sure. My clothes might fit you in the time being. You're still growing. There are some sweets in the kitchen if you want any." Before he could blink Shizuo was already heading for the kitchen like he knew he would. Whatever that meddling demon had done, his baby brother was still the same.

The supply he had brought hadn't been enough. His sweet loving brother consumed everything even as Delic watched him struggle to keep his eyes open. "Looks like you're tired." The host pointed out taking the sweet wrappers away.
"Mm, yeah."
"Get some sleep." Helping Shizuo up the two of them walked into the bedroom, his brother's head resting on his shoulder. "Nothing will harm you." Though he couldn't make that promise about himself. Throwing the covers back Delic lowered Shizuo down against the pillow where his brother was already sleeping.
Taking a step back the fallen angel admired the sight of his beloved sleeping in his bed where he belonged. Focusing on his palm a red light flickered. Clenching his fist the light faded away. "Not yet. Not yet." Hearing a loud thud outside the door Delic sighed reluctantly leaving the room.
Opening the door the host found a black cat staring up at him. "You again, Kuro?" A soft meow was his reply. Kuro was what he called the neighbourhood cat that occasionally bothered him. "I don't have any food for you today." The fur ball was notorious for loving tuna. An idea popped into his head. "Hm, come here." Picking up the cat Delic carried it inside his apartment closing the door. The animal struggled in his arms scratching at his suit.
At some point he would have to go to work and the thought that Shizuo would be left alone pained him. What better way to cheer his brother up than give him a pet? "Watch it. I can still throw you out of the window." Letting go the black furred creature landed on its feet.
Delic sighed hearing his phone ring. "Yes?" Keeping his voice low so it didn't wake his brother, the host listened to the voice on the other end. We have a problem, Delic-sama. Again? The other Orihara was interfering again. "All right. Keep him busy. I'll be there soon." Hanging up the phone Delic let the device fall from his fingers where Kuro nudged it with his paw.
"Well it looks like I need you after all." Walking into the bedroom Delic took a seat on the bed, stroking Shizuo's bangs back. His brother didn't stir continuing to sleep. "I'll be back soon." Placing his lips against Shizuo's forehead Delic smirked kissing his brother's cheek and lastly his lips. As soft as he remembered and this time there was no falling into a deep sleep making him a fallen. This time Shizuo was his.
The cat had followed him into the room and was now staring at the bedside table where his newly created halo lay. "Ah ah. You can't have that." Snatching up the crimson ring Delic glared at it in distaste. The cursed demon in his head could only get to them through their halos. Which is why she had recreated his own. "Be a good kitty and stay here. If you do a good job I'll reward you with tuna."
Shoving his halo into his pocket Delic took one last look at the sleeping half angel before leaving the apartment making sure to lock the door. The Oriharas were becoming a troublesome existence. Not only did he have Hibiya on his case, Izaya was trying to dig his claws into Shizuo.

"Its about time." Hibiya snapped. "How dare you keep me waiting!" Delic forced a smile walking towards the arrogant raven. "Explain. What is the meaning of this?" Glancing around his club his eyes narrowed seeing that the music and lights had stopped. The dancers stood frozen against their poles. The door to the VIP room was wide open smoke filing out along with a lot of naked humans and demons.
"This visit isn't authorized. Why are you here?" Nodding to his staff everyone turned and left.
"I do not need permission to seek evidence. You have disobeyed the rules of this city. This establishment will be shut down." The fallen angel stayed silent listening to the prince berate him. From the corner of his eye he could see his best employee lounging back against the wall. "Your punishment will be-"
Delic laughed. "I'm sorry Hibiya-sama. This is my club and I won't allow you to close it." Resting a hand on the demon's shoulder his palm glowed as his power seeped in. "This was fun but I have what I want now."
"Wha-" With a satisfied grin Delic watched gold eyes widen becoming hazy. A dark flush filled the demon's cheeks. "Nn."
"Give in to it." The prince's knees went weak collapsing against him and had it not been for Shizuo, then perhaps he would have given the demon a chance. "This discussion is over." Hibiya gasped leaning against him. Deciding enough was enough, Delic clicked his fingers signalling to the demon in charge of the VIP section. "Give him a nice dream." The raven swayed eyelids drooping. "Everyone else, back to work."
Turning away he heard a soft thud as the demon his the floor, the gold crown rolling by his feet. Deciding on it as a trophy the fallen angel picked it up twirling it in his hand. Enough time had been wasted. Delic hurried back to his apartment impatient to get back to his brother.

Unlocking the door Delic grinned sliding off his headphones. He had waited long enough. Shrugging off his suit jacket, Delic stepped into the bedroom switching on the light. The cat was curled up sleeping on his brother's chest. "Its time for you to go." Scooping up Kuro the fallen angel carried it outside of the room quickly placing it outside the apartment door. The fur ball hissed and clawed at his hand. "I owe you some tuna. For now play with this." Tossing down the gold crown the fallen angel closed the door.
Returning to the bedroom, Delic lifted the covers back letting his powers activate. "Become mine." Underneath his touch Shizuo gasped still asleep. Quickly and carefully removing the clothes that were in the way, Delic admired his beloved's body running his fingers over what would soon be his.
