Where the hell?
I blinked hard. A pale white ceiling greeted me. I rolled onto my side and looked at my bedside clock.
12:30 am
I groaned stretching out my arms and legs. Man it's been forever since I've gotten this good of sleep. Which is funny because it's the same bed I've slept in since we moved to Oregon like six months ago.
Something was nagging at my brain. Something wasn't right. This wasn't right, somehow. I looked around again not understanding what the problem was. My room looked the same as ever. As I scanned my room my sight was drawn to the closet. The door was slightly ajar.
Panic went through me. Something. I was missing something.
I got up and walked over to the closet opening the door. It was a normal closet. All my shit was in place. That didn't stop me from pushing the assortments of nice shirts and jackets to the side looking for my treasures. But every time I tried to think of what my treasures were my mind would blank out.
Something large. And loud. There was a faint metallic ring that made me jump.
In return I threw everything out of my closet trying to find where the noise emitted from.
"Goddamit where are you little bastards!" I started looking on the floor tossing shoes over my shoulders.
"What are you doing Mira?" a voice came from the door way.
I turned around.
Aries was in the doorway holing one of my nicer pairs of shoes, a six inch black leather pump, which I had nicknamed Hooker Heels.
His violet eyes looked amused. Aries was dressed in the same clothes I had last saw him in. A dark blue long sleeve and jeans.
Before my brain could process what I was doing I jumped up giving Aries the tightest hug possible.
He laughed as his arms came around me in a nostalgic embrace. "What is this for? I just made breakfast." He chuckled patted my back with his hand.
"I've missed you." I almost sobbed for no reason as I pressing my face into his shirt. He pulled me away giving me the strangest look then laughed.
"You're acting weird this morning. Hurry up and go eat. Mathias is outside waiting for your lazy butt."
My low mood brightened. "Mathias is here?"
He gave me a slow nod giving me a look implying I should wear a helmet and a drool bib.
God I've missed this ass.
I laughed. "Whatever Mr. Metrosexual."
"I look good!" Was his defense as he disappeared into his bedroom.
I turned to my closet about to pick up my mess when I became confused. How did my close get put back? I walked over to the open closet and flipped through some of the clothes. They were all back in the correct order. Weird.
What was weirder was a full length poster hung on my wall neatly, it defiantly wasn't on my wall a minute ago. I walked closer to it. It was a gaming poster about my height. On it was a female. She was posed like she had heard a noise. Her head was turned in profile as her body was turning to. The large hood covered her face. She was wearing a long black trench coat which was fluttered open, emphasizing a metallic silver emblem on the collar that looked like a skull and cross scythed emblem on a circular disk, revealing a Black Sabbath shirt and boot cut jeans. I also noticed she had on black Chuck Taylors. In her right hand she held a customized pistol. It was the same make as James Bonds gun. Down the sides of the gun was flowers engraved into the multicolored metal around the barrel. And in the other she held a large silver scythe that looked like something Death would wield. Staring at her weapons made me feel hollow.
The caption below made my arm hairs stand up.

Welcome to the PITS
The sudden feeling of suspicion and dread dissipated when the doorbell rang. Sheer excitement motivated me to bolt from the upstairs and take a large jump down the stairs which resulted in me lunging face first into the floor narrowly missing the last step. I curled my shoulder in when contact was made then rolled back onto my feet in front of the door.
I brushed dirt off of my pants and I straightened out my shirt.
Wait.
I looked down. I was wearing a white Supernatural t-shirt with the slogan 'Crowley for King' written on it. A pair of faded blue jeans with holes in the knees. A pair of hot pink converses.
When did I get dressed?
There was a honk.
"Coming!" I yelled scrambling outside forgetting about my clothes.
Mathias was leaning against a black 2012 Charger. He gave me a wicked grin when he saw my stupefied look.
"Brand new." He pulled me to him by my arm. "It's okay, Sheila won't bite." He chuckled into my hair, mocking me for staring amazed at this fine as hell muscle car, as he pulled me into a tight embrace. I sighed resting my head on his shoulder and wrapped my arms around his well-built torso.
This guy could seriously pull off anything he threw on. Today he had on black Swiss brand shoes, designer brand jeans held up by a belt with a skull and cross scythed buckle, a black muscle shirt and a dark brown leather coat that did his shoulders justice.
I like me some shoulder.
I pulled away a bit so I could look at him in the face. His statue like looks always blew me away even with the small nicks here and there from various accidents. But what always got me was his carnation colored eyes. They practically glowed especially when he looked at me.
"Sheila? Really?" I threw my head back and laughed. He grunted pulled me back to him so that we were face to face. The tips of our noses touched. "Are you laughing at me?" his eyes narrowed.
Damn he smelt good. Being this close I could care less I sounded like a creep.
I couldn't help but giggle at him being menacing. "Come on, Sheila? That's something funny." I replied tilting my head up to give him a toothy grin. "Now come on." I patted him lightly on the cheek. "Show me what Sheila can do."
When the gas had left their systems, the group and other fighters had awoken to a new surroundings. There were no cells. Just an open arena the size of several professional football fields with various side access tunnels that lead back to the same arena. It was a fucking rodent maze. And they were the rodents.
And of course everything went immediately to hell. The stronger fighters started eliminating the weaker competition and everyone scattered. Mathias lost sight of Banshee and the Mutt. And Arista wasn't found. He fought the ever increasing flow of panicking fighters trying to spot the smart mouthed Beauty.
Not that he would ever say that out loud or to her face.
As the crowds had dissipated into the tunnels he found that there were several brutes finishing up their kills. And certainly off to the side slumped against the closest wall was Arista. Her back was pressed to the chipped wall with her head limp forward, her black hair creating a veil concealing her face, and limbs strewn. on her lap something was moving.
Dammit she always ends up looking like an easy kill. He thought almost humorously. Then that tiny humor died as some of the monsters saw her and most defiantly thought the same thing.
"Fuck." He dashed towards her then flashed stepped.
A fucking ghoul hovered around her. Shuffling side to side and baring teeth. The others stared confused at the ghoul. If its target was with in reaching distance why isn't it taking action? The one that was titled Beast watched the dumb ass Ghoul continue to shuffle. It was beginning to piss him off. He finished the Naagaloshii (skin walker) off and proceeded over.
The closer Beast got the louder a hissing noise became. The Ghoul shuffled for its last time before Beast wrapped his meaty hands on the ghoul's head and shoulder, then pulled the two apart. Not even blood escaped the grotesque creatures severed self. Beast chucked the body to the side and looked at the prey.
He could see why the ghoul was hesitant. A large pissed off Black Mamba with amethyst colored eyes hissed at him spewing deadly venom onto his thick steel toed boots. The massive snake was coiled on the unconscious girls lap. Beast snorted at the reptile. It was still pathetic. At an unseen speed kicked the coiled monster off her lap. It hissed while still in the air. Beast grinned from admiring the distance the obstacle went then the grin turned menacing when he looked down.
Mathias exited flash step when the snake was launched by this brute. While the walking mountain was not looking Mathias lifted Arista up bridal style in his harms. She was a lot lighter than she looked. Her sarcasm must add the extra five pounds when she was running her mouth. "Who the fuck are you?" A barely human voice groused. Mathias looked up, smiled, gave the brute the middle finger, and flashed stepped into the nearest tunnel opening.
Eventually the Mutt and his owner found Mathias fending off some mole creatures away from Arista. Claude chased off a majority of the weird long enough for Mathias to carry the Reaper.
"Dammit, why isn't she waking up?"
Mathias hissed kicking the last in sight lower ranked creature in the face with his leather cladded foot, efficiently breaking its nose and incapacitating the weird mole thing. It let out this shrill cry as it went crashing to the floor.
"Freaky." He muttered adjusting his hold on Arista.
He had haphazardly got her on him in a piggy back fashion. He learned that she was a clinger. As he put her arms around his shoulders her hands held firmly on his jacket, same with her legs that automatically linked together around his waist. Which was great because then he wouldn't have to worry about her falling off much. But it was very distracting to have her. . this close. Arista mumbled something and nuzzled the crevice of his neck with her face. He froze. His face was lacking emotion but his fists were clenched furiously at his side.
Banshee couldn't answer him at first. Another Broken had appeared. She held her hand curled palm upwards by her side and summoned corporal energy the Daemon kept on standby for emergencies.
This counted as an emergency. Arista was still unconscious and Claude, he was in danger.
The energy configured into a hand held swirling white ball. The Broken pressed closer and closer to the group. Banshee opened her hand palm out in front of her facing the target. The energy obliterated the Broken into nothing. Like a vacuum, the energy orb sucked in the spiritual presence of the hound and exploded, leaving the remains of an empty vessel. "Come on! She shrilled advancing down the hall. Claude took up the rear behind Mathias as they followed after.
Again sorry for the delayed update.
I will try to be more punctual, hopefully.
Thanks for reading!
