Ok readers we're approaching the story's final chapters... Its endgame. Pyron's body is rebuilt while the ones working for him take on our pilots and their Darkstalker allies. Only now Jedah has somehow finished the Mass Production EVA series and has unleashed them upon the city. Worse yet he also leads a personal assault on the city center. How will our heroes even hope to win with this development? Here's part two to read, rating is still the same. Only one chapter remains after this.
-chapter 20 - Earth VS Pyron Part 2
As the pilots stared into the glowing yellow eyes of Pyron they knew right then and there that they were in for one hell of a high octane fight. This was it the final battle for the earth's future. A powerful blazing aura burned around the cosmic being. He gazed over at his intended opponents... He had seen more powerful fighters on the planets of the star Fabul.
These teenagers were not impressive. However since they possessed the Elemental Crystals of Culex he intended to see how strong they were. ''So you're my opponents hmm? Not much to look at. I've once battled Culex and his strength with his crystals was great. They battled with everything they had and sent me through a dimensional gate ending our fight in a draw. Now that he passed along the gems to a set of warriors I intend to see how much amusement I can get out of it.''
''Bring it on hellfire boy!'' Asuka bitched at him.
The only reaction Pyron gave was a huge grin across his huge mug which was kinda creepy since he normally didn't have one. The cosmic being broke into a fiery slide tackle heading straight for them all. Lilith knew what the cosmic being had planned and she sprung into action. ''ASUKA MOVE!"
As she tackled the fiery girl to the ground Pyron slid by seconds later and sent out another of his powerful fireballs which completely destroyed a nearby building in a half spherical explosion. The attack caused a huge set of tremors to shake everyone flat on their behinds. Slowly everyone got back to their feet. Asuka's solid blue eyes stared in shock at the power Pyron had in such a small attack. She felt very little Dark Force put into it... Whoever this Pyron goon was well in short he was one strong son of bitch. ''That power... It... it's unreal.''
Pyron then turned to face his opponents. The Aensland pipsqueak had spoiled his fun. ''Damn. You ruined my surprise attack Aensland that's not fair now is it? I intended to annihilate the fire user but you spoiled my fun.''

Knowing it was her role alone to lead now Lilith struck a fighting position which the teens followed suit. If the seven of them stood any chance in hell of defeating this foe they had to work as team and cover each others backs. If earth was to survive it fell on their seven sets of shoulders. ''Alright guys this is it! It's all or nothing! We gotta hit this guy with everything we got!''
Pyron chuckled at hearing this tough talk. ''Please do I'm in the mood for a proper challenge.'' These insignificant insects thought they defeat him? The notion was insane at worst and foolhardy at best.
''I speak for us all when I ask how the flying fuck do hurt a fire monster?'' Rei asked getting ready as she formed a few ice weapons.
''We do like Lilith said Rei we hit him with everything we got.'' Shinji said as his voice wasn't that of some chicken-hearted EVA pilot but someone who had the resolve of something as strong as a diamond.
Seeing as no one was heading into the fight Shinji and Lilith led the charge launching a series of Soul Flash attacks combined with the earth user's barrage of super sharpened diamond spears. Pyron spun like a blazing top and absorbed every last bit of energy from the Soul Flashes and melted the spears into nothing.
Surging like a huge inland tsunami Rei tried to drown out the evil fiery alien only for him to sent out a blazing kick that somehow punched the wind out of her as crazy as that sounded. Rei was stunned as she collapsed into a huge puddle filled with icy chunks.
The wind user Hikari attacked alongside her boyfriend Toji as she sent the great destroyer high up into the air spinning around the interior of the funnel hoping to make him sick or at least dizzy. But Pyron broke free as he steered himself towards the female wind user. In a panic she sent several micro funnels with wind speeds exceeding 2OOO miles an hour. The fiery alien was far too strong to be weakened by such a pitiful attack and sent an attack called Air Sol Smasher. It was a flaming ball fired from the air which hit Hikari dead on engulfing her in a huge fiery explosion. Hikari fell from the skies like a dewinged plane spinning out of control.
Pissed off his girlfriend was beat up Toji in a fit of rage went into high gear speed as he collided his piledriver shaped arm into Pyron's fist which created a great clash of power. The power caused numbers of glass panes to shatter upon the collision. Each fighter tried to overpower the other, now Toji had raw anger on his side while Pyron millennia in battle experience to his benefit.
But again like the wind user before the metal crystal users attack did nothing to the great power of Pyron. Toji by this point was getting frustrated and sent off a volley of piston based punches at the cosmic destroyer who then weaved or dodged out of the way of them. Until he was nailed by a lucky shot who punched the metal boy so hard in the stomach he punched through his metal body. Toji stunned was then hit by the alien's Zodiac Fire where he turned into a flaming wheel of fire and followed up with a Planet Burning. In short Pyron engulfed Toji in a huge sphere of yellow energy then slammed him into the ground leaving the boy's body broken and beaten.
The destroyer then roared as he charged at the group, he swatted Asuka away, grabbed Kensuke and threw a Sol Smasher at him sending him colliding into the glass covered skyscrapers. But Kensuke wasn't out just yet as he flew back into the fight as he retaliated with his arms which he turned into a huge electro cannon. He fired off powerful electronic blasts at his alien enemy who tried another Zodiac Fire but this time the thunder user caught the powerful attack by sheer will. He glared into Pyron's blazing form who glowered back and the two traded fast blows as Pyron's punches were so fast they were barely stopped by the thunder users cannon blasts.
While dealing with the thunder user Pyron left himself open as Asuka punched away at his back delivering great punishment to the cosmic entity. He glared at her for even trying such an attack on him. ''You fool... You dare attack me from behind? If you wished to be destroyed so fast all you had to do was simply ask. And so it shall be done."
"Bring it on! Fire devil!'' Asuka bitched out as she readied herself for his attack. If this fiery freak figured she was just going to flee from battle well he had another thing coming to him.
The cosmic destroyer changed into his blazing meteor form which Asuka figured he used as a fast means of battlefield transportation. He sped right at her then vanished from sight entirely. Pyron had used his Galaxy Trip teleportation move which made Asuka panic trying to sense where he'd gone when suddenly BOOM!
Hitting Asuka hard Pyron struck a hard blow with his blazing fist sending her crashing into a large skyscraper. Glass shards flew everywhere as concrete buckled. The fiery redhead couldn't keep up with his great power. The fire destroyer sent out a blazing ball of fire then utterly obliterated the building Asuka had been flung into. That last attack sent Asuka rocketing backwards like a speeding missile and impacted a far off ruined building in Tokyo-2 Bay. Her impact generated a huge crater where she hit.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!'' She screamed out in massive pain. She was tougher than this after all she was the great Asuka Soryu! No freak fire monster was going to beat her into the ground and get away with it! No way!
Rising from her impact crater she stared up into Pyron's blazing form... Though she was down she wasn't out. "I may be down but I'm not out. Eat something I like to call my Hypernova! Prepare to die!'' Asuka growled as streams of red energy poured from the very earth and collected into a huge ball of energy the size of a mountain. She then gave it heave upon the the great powerful alien.
The attack seemed to beat Pyron as he struggled to push back the mass of energy, he sank into the earth as the attack detonated creating a blast equal to an N2 Mine. Asuka focused the extreme heat energy away from the city... and finally it seemed to be over.
''Its over.'' Asuka muttered out exhausted.
''Hmm... That was very impressive my dear but still not enough to defeat the likes of me.'' A familiar voice said from behind the German girl sending a huge shiver down her spine. "Cosmo Disruption."
Rather than waste time talking some more the fiery alien sent out several orbs that hit the fire user then detonated it right in the girl's face. Several spheres of exploding energy sent Asuka flying then hitting into Kensuke. Pyron sent out two separate Cosmo Disruptions at Shinji and Lilith blasting them away with massive amounts of explosive energy. They crashed onto the ground beaten nearly lifeless.
-Darkstalker battle -begin Dead to the World by Nightwish
The Darkstalkers were in a huge battle with Jedah, BB Hood, and Bishamon along a near inexhaustible supply of Huitzul drone robots. It was shear overkill by the Makai grim reaper facsimile. In fact Morrigan was trading blows with Jedah and a few and happened to spy Lilith and her friends get beaten badly. With her attention off by a second she was sucker punched by Jedah sending her flying back.
But before she could even hit whatever she was careening towards a Huitzul drone smacked her upside her face with a powerful laser blast only to be punched by another drone. Blood dribbled from her lip. "Lilith... Shinji. No... " She uttered in a sad tone.
The evil Makai aristocrat smirked as he saw Pyron shoot towards their exact location. Once he came into the other Darkstalkers line of view his blazing form made them sweat in fear. Bishamon knelt down along with Hood as the cosmic alien lowered himself to the ground as numerous Huitzul drones hovered around him. ''My lord everything is in place. The pilots are defeated, the Darkstalkers are defeated and the reward is the planet earth all for your taking."
"Oh shit there goes the planet!'' Raptor uttered out as he was surrounded by dozens of drones.
Several of the Darkstalkers like Felisha knew that things were about to get brutal. The last time Pyron showed up even the mighty vampire lord Demitri was at a disadvantage when they last struggled.
The merman Rikuo just like last time he was pissed about being outclassed by the powerful alien. "Damnit... Time to get nearly killed again.''
"My great Pyron how may we help you in defeating these Darkstalker losers?'' Jedah asked bowing before the great might of the destroyer alien.
''First off you all... DIE!'' Pyron roared out as he sent Cosmo Disruptions at every single drone. The numerous attacks utterly destroyed every drone in seconds.
Pieces of scrap metal flew everywhere as Jedah stood there slack jawed. ''But... Master why... ?''
''Thank you for reviving my body Jedah I am indebted to you in that respect. But there can be only one ruler of this planet... ME! Hyper Cosmo Disruption!" Pyron said matter-of-factly as he super charged a Cosmo Disruption that hit Jedah.
The attack sent the demon aristocrat high into the upper levels of the then exploded in huge array of smaller spherical explosions. The mummy Pharaoh Anakaris gulped at just how heartless Pyron was. A ruler should be caring towards his subjects and defend them. But this sinister being showed he wanted to be the supreme ruler... something Anakaris couldn't allow. The problem was that last time the mummy fought he lost badly.
The other two followers of the evil alien after getting over their shock over being betrayed... well they didn't take it very well to say the least. Baby Bonnie Hood's face contorted into one of pure rage. She primed her two semiautomatic machine guns and opened fire on the alien destroyer. ''You son of a motherfucking son of bitch! No one stabs me in the back like this and gets away with it!''
''You betray us after we work to help you?! You treacherous bastard!'' Bishamon shouted as he ran at Pyron readying to slice him in half only for the alien to be prepared for this type of incident.
Calmly weaving out of the way of the undead samurai's sword swipes Pyron sent out a powerful Sol Smasher fireball attack which hit the cursed samurai armor dead center. The attack completely annihilated him in one blast reducing his body to dust in mere seconds.
Seeing her comrade utterly disintegrated in front of her only made her all the more angry. ''PYRONNNNN!" She roared as she opened constant fire on her blazing enemy who used the exact same tactic on Hood.
And like before Pyron's Sol Smasher killed Baby Bonnie Hood in one grisly shot. Her body was reduced to bones which were further reduced to dust that blew away in the wind. Pyron sent out numerous Cosmo Disruptions which exploded in everybody's face sending them flying in all directions. The organic golem Victor, mummy Anakaris and the real Huitzul impacted into the sides of building fronts. The dark elf Gaia was sent into a sharpened set of rebar that had been exposed from the EVA fight. She was then impaled on the rebar. The power of Pyron's attack had knocked her out.
Felisha was launched into a garbage truck's back section along with Anita and Punkin Jack. Raptor, Donavan, and Rikuo were sent hard into a large delivery truck leaving huge dents in its side. Hsein-Ko and Mei-Ling fell on top of a few car roofs. They hit them so hard they caused the roofs to collapse after the ghost girls landed on them. ''Well that went great. Sis can ya move?" Mei-Ling groaned out asking her sister.
''No... '' Hsein-Ko replied in the same type of strained voice.
The werewolf John had landed on a huge cafe table made from marble had a few things to say to that. ''That's... great.''
Seeing as how all the other Darkstalkers were unable to fight or were otherwise knocked out so it seemed to up to Demitri the vampire lord. ''Since you cowards are too busy dying around here I will fight him!''
The powerful vampire zoomed into the the air and gave a power laden punch to send Pyron smashing through the top of a high rise apartment. Demitri swiftly zoomed after his enemy, as he then does a haymaker combat typed move sending the alien smashing onto a rooftop office with a pool.
Long story short Pyron landed with a huge splashdown in the pool and sank to the bottom. He let his power rise as he engulfed himself in a huge sphere of yellow energy destroying the rooftop office in a blaze of blinding light. The vampire lord had just lit Pyron's already short fuse.
The powerful vampire lord smashed his fist into a colliding Pyron's as the two struggled to overpower the other fighter. Demitri sent out his attack of great blazing bats which tore through the alien's fire based body. The fire alien backpedaled away from his foe mostly to better size him up. So Pyron was right... the vampire had increased in power he thought this battle might just get more interesting.
The vampire in a fit of rage changed to his true demonic vampire form and impaled his claws into the section of Pyron's neck. The demonic vampire then tried to rip the Hellstorm monster to shreds. However Pyron simply grinned at his foolish overconfidence as he engulfed Demitri in his Planet Burning attack in fire then slammed Demitri hard into a building face.
Without missing a beat the cosmic being used another attack in his bag of tricks to pummel the vampire lord. His flaming wheeled form called Zodiac Fire sent the fanged Darkstalker high up into the sky where Pyron followed up with a move called Orbital Blaze as orbs of fire spun around him like moons in orbit. The moons spun so fast they hit Demitri rocketing back towards the ground where he generated an impact crater.
Pyron used his Galaxy Trip teleportation move to chase after his query all the way to the ground. ''Such a waste... " Pyron mumbled to himself.
This fight was hardly any fun at all. These earth based Darkstalkers still weren't any challenge even after all these years. Even the Elemental Crystal users hardly posed a threat to him. Struggling to get back to his feet Demitri pulled himself out of his impact crater. His outfit was burnt and shredded and in short he didn't look good.
Walking along the street Pyron stared into the worn and weary looking face of Demitri Maximoff. He clearly was worn out from the fight. "Are you finished playing games Demitri? You can't stop me Demitri you know its useless, I was somewhat amused by your one-man army combat in our previous fight. But I've run out of patience the road of life ends for you vampire.'' Pyron then sent out a powerful bone breaking sucker punch to the vampire lord's face sending him crashing to the ground.
The blow was almost too fast to see with naked eyes. The vampire was sent flying and crashed into a large garbage truck severely impacting the side. ''Too easy Demitri." Pyron added.
The powerful destroyer alien picked up the defeated vampire by the collar of his worn rich looking clothes. The vampire lord was so badly beaten this time he couldn't move a muscle. His neck rolled to left... Now the alien was sure he'd broken it just like he wanted. "The last time we struggled Demitri you survived my assault. But I have all the power I need from those three idiots. I could recruit you as a minion but it'd be more satisfying to humiliate you all. I've no use for refuse.''
Chuckling to himself in a small bit of amusement, Pyron then put his palm out in front of the vampire's chest. ''Goodbye vampire.'' The fiery alien then unleashed a Cosmo Disruption so powerful and focused it formed into a narrow blast that tore through the vampire's torso and out his back.
''DAGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!'' The vampire screamed.
Once the attack finished up smoke poured out of the fleshy hole the alien had blasted through the great vampire lord Demitri. Callously Pyron tossed the gravely injured vampire in the waters of Tokyo-2 Bay. There he slowly sunk beneath the waves all the way to the bottom.
Recovering from the interior of the city the thunder user happened to see how Pyron dispensed of the great vampire lord. While all his other friends were still still barely conscious he managed to power up to his electrical form. ''That asshole... " Kensuke snarled out as he willed his broken body up to face the mighty Pyron. "I got a wife and kid waiting for me it I can't die here!'' He thought as he remembered Tete had secretly told him she was expecting. He hadn't told his friends just yet mostly unsure how they'd react.
Seeing his example his friends slowly but steadily brought up their beaten bodies to rally behind the thunder user. With the Darkstalkers defeated it was up to them... If only they could figure out a strategy that would win. But how could they against something as powerful as Pyron?

Well readers its been a long ride but like any good story there always is an end. Upon this chapter's completion there's only one chapter left. Then its done. The story I intend to upload after this is a more romance based story again involving Evangelion but that's all I'm going to reveal for now. Also the voice of Pyron is David Kaye who voiced him in the original Nightwarriors OVA's. Also kudos and a free review to whomever guesses where Pyron dialogue is lifted from.
