Kat: Hey guys! It's been literally years.

Casey: Yeah, where were ya?

Kat: Well, I had a lot of school work and tried to get out this chapter. Sadly, I lost it because of the whole 90 day save thing. Who thought of that anyways?! So, I thank you for all your patience.

Danice: But, your story said it was discontinued?

Kat: Yes, because I thought I wasn't going to rewrite this...but I fell in love with this series and I want to try and finish it and have a finale chapter.

Brittany: So, this is the finale chapter?

Kat: What? No! I will have one soon. I won't be writing a lot of chapters...so sadly I won't be answering a lot of questions. This chapter was supposed to be an alien chapter, but it didn't really work out.

Margo: Got it. Kathampetlover doesn't own Tokyo Mew Mew or Mew Mew Power. Please support the official release!

Everyone: So, enjoy!

A Café Day in the Life of Danice

Danice's PoV (PoV=Point Of View)

It's been weeks, maybe even a month or two since Olivia was unmasked to be the mystery mew. Soon after, it took a long time to help her control her water powers, but she finally got used to it. Olivia was the youngest of our group, being in the school year below us all. We've been fighting monster after monster and it shows. My grades have decreased lately to mostly all b's and teachers have been asking me what was going on. They even went so far as to ask my parents, and they themselves were surprised.

I did not like this life much. It took away time from school and track. Spring season was coming, and that meant Track and Field was going to start. I sighed, reading over math problems.

"Hey Danice. You're here early." I heard. I looked up to see Westly standing at the table I was sitting at.

"Oh, yeah. I decided to just get here and do this math homework." I smile softly.

"You seem bummed. Anything on your mind?" he asked, sitting down on one of the chairs.

I sigh, "Yeah, my grades are lower then I'd like them to be."

"Is this because of being a Mew?"

I nodded, "Yeah, mostly. I mean we fight monsters every day. It gives me little to no time to do my homework, let alone study. Almost all my classes are b's." I rest my head on my hand.

"Ah." he said, sitting back, "I'm sorry. I know it wasn't planned out. Your power chose you for a reason, Danice. You just have to figure it out."

I look to him, taking in his brown eyes. My cheeks heat up as I look back to my paper, "Well, if it's to lower my grades then I already passed that."

To this, he laughed, "Oh Danice. You're quiet funny." He got up off his chair, "I'm going to go make some food for our customers. Call me if you need anything."

"Westly?" I say. He turned to me. I smile to him, "Thanks."

His face grew confused, "For what?"

"I don't know. For listening, for helping, for just...everything!" I list off things.

He nervously shifted, putting a hand behind his head, "O-oh. That's nothing."

I roll my eyes and go back to my problems.

The main doors then open, and I look to see Casey entering. I smile, "Hey Casey."

She looked to me and smiled back, "Danice! Thank goodness. Could you help me with this problem? I don't get it." she took out her paper. She was stuck on an algebra problem that I didn't get to yet.

"I actually didn't make it that far yet. I'll try my best."

- Time Skip To Opening -

I quickly change into my maid outfit and put my hair up to then put the head dress on.

"Hurry up people! Crowds are coming in!" Ron said as he passed to go greet the people. In the Spring, the Café puts out a special deal to promote one of Westly's dishes. This year, it was a buy one get one free desert. Meaning, customers could actually choose their favorite special desert.

So, of course this big deal means about ten times the customers come. I exit almost to bump into Westly. "Sorry Wes!" I quickly call running to get the first customer's order. Did I just call him Wes? What in the world? J-just never mind that Danice! Focus!

The girls and I were all over the place, and I noticed Westly was falling slowly behind. So, I went to the back. "Westly, what can I do to help you?" I ask.

He looked up to me, "Danice? You can help maybe by getting the cakes in and out of the oven. One's baking now." he then looked back to his, what looked like, lemon meringue pie. I nodded, getting out a mixing bowl and two cake trays. I looked to the time, seeing it was close I put on oven mitts. Safety first and all, ya know?

When the timer beeped, I opened the oven door to feel the heat blast out. I bent down and grabbed it to then put it on an empty counter. Not noticing how close my left arm was to the tray, I bumped it into the corner. Automatically, I felt pain shoot up my arm as I yelp in pain.

"Danice, what happened?!" Westly asked, basically dropping what he was doing to, what looked like pumpkin pie.

"Ah, it's nothing." I say as I take off my oven mitt.

He grabbed my arm, making sure not to touch where I was burnt and basically dragged me to the sink. He turned the cold water on and put my arm under. "Hold on, I'll get ice."

He then ran to the freezer, grabbing an ice pack and a paper towel to wrap it in. Turning off the water, he then lightly dried it off. Pain shot up my arm again, as I hissed in pain.

"Sorry." he lowly said, putting the ice on my arm. "Hold." he then simply said.

I looked to him; he was so focused to his job at hand. His eyes looked to mine, my heart started beating faster. Was I starting to breath heavy from the shock?

"Danice?" he then said. I shook my head a bit. Was I spaced out? What was going on?

"Sorry, what?" I asked him.

"Could you hold the ice pack? I need to get back to doing these deserts."

I nod, "Sorry." I put my back to the wall. "I just wanted to help. All I did was make more work for you."

He looked back to me, picking up a tray of his deserts he just made, "You helped greatly." He set the tray to the window and hit the bell to tell whoever was there the deserts were ready.

I watched him as he hustled around the kitchen. Stupid me had to burn myself. What a screw up. The day seemed to go slower as I either had ice on my arm or had no ice on. Although, I got to talk to Westly as he worked. We got into many conversations about school and how we are, or were, in school. Westly apparently graduated two years ago in high honors, but more so had a strength in science. I told him how I was pretty good with science, but had strength in math and English. He seemed impressed about me being great with English.

When closed, the girls asked about my arm. I said good bye to everyone and headed home to finish my homework. Maybe I'll have some time to study for that test that's coming up in a week.

Kat: Hey guys! Hope you enjoyed! Quick side note before I say goodbye. There will be a ship with these two (Danice and Westly). Just to let you know, Danice is 16 at this point (A year passed since ch. 1 basically) and Westly is about 19 or 20. That is a 4 year difference. ^_^ Same goes as Ron and Brittany! They are 4 years a part as well. Thank you for your understanding. Anyways, please comment down below if you have any questions. I'm so excited to finally get this chapter up! I hope you guys can forgive me with the quick and upcoming finale...I just don't have time to work on my fanfics anymore! Thanks for coming by and I hope you enjoyed!
