I don't... I can't... What is wrong with me?

Why does everything have to come down to this? I hate myself for agreeing to this so easily, but he is just really pitiful.

He's so lonely. I can relate to him. Feeling so... alone, the whole world's against you, you have no idea what to do next.

That depressing thought... I'm living it right now.

I, guess I'll have to go with him to Canada. I mean, he looks so helpless, like he's about to lose it. I don't want to be responsible for being the cause of him doing something insane. I honestly don't think he's completely sane now, as it is.

As for my family and Aoi... I'm sorry. I can't be what they want anyway. It's not like I am what Hamasaki wants, but...

I have no idea what the backlash of denying him would be. He might even... try to hurt them. If that ever happened, I don't think I would ever forgive myself.

If anything ever happened to Aoi...

It doesn't matter if I am a girl or boy, if anything happens Aoi, I would've failed my duty to protect her.

I'm not sure how long I will have to put up with this 'Daiki Hamasaki' act, but if it's for Aoi, I can do it for however long I need to.

Even if that means spending a good part of my life with a psychotic father character.

After the shock had settled in, Aoi became full out hysterical, before finally collapsing of exhaustion.

How could this happen... Tomo and I are supposed to be together forever.

"I thought this place was supposed to have top notch security." she spit out bitterly.

She laid down on her bed and glanced at her now mangled and ruffled dress.

"Guess I won't be using this for anything."

"Is she alright?"

"Yeah, she just settled down now."

"What are we gonna do?"

"I don't know." he whispered in a solemn voice.

"Any word from the trackers yet?"

"No. It seems like Hamasaki was smart enough to check him thoroughly for anything like that." His head hung low, as to not show his face that was stricken with grief. "Damn him!"

"Why can't we just phone the authorities?"

"You know exactly why! We know Hamasaki is insane, not an idiot. If the police started looking around, they wouldn't find anything. He's an expert at covering his tracks. Besides, if we get the police involved they might even find out about Tomo's secret."

"Isn't knowing that Tomo's safe more important than the family name?"

He shook his head, visibly holding in his anger. "We know he can't keep Tomo a secret forever. I guess we'll just have to be patient, but vigilant. I understand that you miss him, I want him back too, but we might just be at a standstill moment. If we try to get Tomo back by using force, he might even threaten to hurt her, I mean... him."

Mrs. Saito placed a reassuring hand on her husband's shoulder.

"He'll be alright. We know that he won't do anything to harm him."

He slammed his fist against a near by wall. "Dammit Emi! We don't know what his intentions are anymore! What's he planning on doing with Tomo now? It's not like he can just use a kidnapped kid to his disposal. Especially someone as well known as Tomo. Everyone in Japan knows his name." His face shot up quickly.

"That's it!" He dug his hand into his pocket and grabbed his phone. He quickly dialled a number and waited for the other side to pick up. "I want the names of everyone flying on a plane out of Japan in the next week, and I want it now."

"Honey, why-"

"He knows that he can't use Tomo for anything useful in Japan so he'll be getting out of here as soon as possible."

Her eyes widened in realization. "Ah, I see."

He started pacing, shrugging her hand off his shoulder.

"We've got to find them quick. If Hamasaki discovers somethings about Tomo... who knows what'll happen."

"Tomo!" Iwao entered 'his son's' room. "I just got our travel details together. We'll be leaving in five hours."

Tomo sat up instantly. "What!? I mean, so soon?"

"Yes, the faster we get out of here the better." He smiled and walked over to Tomo. He sat down on the side of the bed and stared at him affectionately. "Just think about it. As soon as we get there, we can start our new lives together." He reached his hand out, stroking his hair.

Tomo tried not to flinch as the man's large hand began to touch his hair.

He laughed nervously. "Yeah, I can't wait."

"Can't wait what?"

"I can't wait... Dad." He said with a forced smile.

He grabbed his shoulders and pulled him to his chest, wrapping his arms around him.

"Me and my son." He let out a laugh. "I can't believe it. I actually have a son." he whispered to himself.

Tomo refrained from shuddering.

I wonder what they would think if they saw me now, in the arms of a madman.

I didn't want to admit if before, but... I'm scared. I'm really scared mom.

For once in my life, I can't foresee the results. I have no idea what's going to happen. I just... don't want him to hurt Aoi.

I know it's hopeless and I sound weak for thinking this, but I want to go home. I wish that they would find me and all of this could just be over.

Before he could do anything, he felt something sharp push into his neck. His eyes widened and he tried to break away from the older man, only to find that he didn't have any strength.

Save me... Aoi...

Sorry for the delay. This is my first fanfic and I'm still getting used to things. I have major anxiety and even thinking about having any sort of deadline for things makes me completely flip out.

When I started this story, I didn't really have a plot outlined and my writing skills haven't fully developed. So, I guess I will be continuing with the story, but it will be at my own pace and I'll just go with the flow. Nothing is really decided yet, so I'm still working on it.

Wish me luck!
