Hi,
So sorry for the delayed update, i was busy this week.
Also, OUTLAW QUEEN REUNION THIS WEEK?! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? I don't think it's for real though, it can't be that easy...
Cinderella was a great movie, the Frozen Fever short before it really won me over. Go check it some time.
Now, onto what everyone's really here for,
Life is a highway chapter 20
"You've got everything you need Henry?" Emma yelled across the hall.
"Yeah, just, give me a minute!"
"You said that a minute ago! Hurry, you know your mum doesn't like waiting! if we miss this flight its a month of algebra and science homework at home!"
Henry put his 3DS into his backpack and jogged down the hall.
"I couldn't find my Super Smash Brothers cartridge." Grumbled Henry.
Emma ruffled his hair and pulled it out of a pouch she was holding.
"You gave it to me knowing that you'd probably misplace it."
Henry smiled sheepishly.
"Luckily I know myself too well sometimes."
The doorbell rang and Emma opened it to reveal Hook in a pair of black leather pants and a matching leather jacket with a basic black shirt underneath.
"Hey..." Emma was flustered and tried desperately to hide her blushing.
"Hello love, are we ready to go?" Trying to hide his amusement.
Hook bro-fisted Henry and nudged him gently in the ribs.
"Do it now!" Yelled Henry.
"Do what now?" Asked an apprehensive Emma.
Hook pulled out his hook (haha) and he replaced it with a prosthetic hand.
"Whoa, whoa, where on earth did you get that?"
"One of my many gimmicks, in case something like today should ever happen."
"Right, one of your gimmicks."
Snow came to the door and greeted Hook. She kissed Emma and Henry on the cheek.
"Have fun you three, smile!"
She whipped out a polaroid camera and caught a hilarious picture of Hook being the only one ready and Emma and Henry both giving blank looks.
Snow pulled out the polaroid and showed it to David as he walked to the front door to send them off.
David laughed and gave Emma a hug and kiss on the cheek. He gave Killian a stern look and he nodded in understanding.
"Tell Regina we say hi." Said David as he gave Henry a hug.
"Okay, are we all ready?"
"Ready when you are," replied Hook
Snow and David waved to the trio as they headed down the stairs.
"This time she better have packed protection." Said Snow.
Emma was loading up her bug with all their luggage while Henry was talking animatedly to Hook about something he read in a comic.
"So this Nick Fury guy lacks an eye?"
"Yeah, he has an eyepatch."
"I quite like this chap."
Emma laughed and ordered them into the car and made sure they all buckled up.
They also downed a potion that Rumple had made for them (he didn't cut any deals thanks to Belle's presence)
As Emma drove over the town line, she checked, "everyone still remembers who they are?"
"Aye," and a "yep," were heard.
Emma turned on the radio and began the drive to the airport.
"Regina was already halfway to Florida having had a day of rest at a road side motel.
Upon entering Florida, she was glad she made the choice to wear a loose cotton shirt and a pair of loose printed jogger pants.
She was driving down the Florida road, she took notice of the Palm trees, the women in bikinis, how the sun was more glaring here and how it was most definitely warmer.
She googled the address for the airport and keyed the address into her GPS.
On the plane,
Henry was busy playing away on his 3DS whilst Emma was reading a book. Hook was looking around nervously.
"Swan, are you sure this is safe?"
"Of course it is, doesn't the Jolly Roger fly?"
"So this is like a flying ship?" He asked as the plane bumped a little due to turbulence. Which made Hook even more nervous.
"Relax, you're a pirate, you can handle sea monsters and formidable enemies but you're a afraid of a plane?"
"Is that a taunt love?"
"Maybe," she smirked as she returned to her book.
Sensing that Hook was still a little jittery, Emma slowly entwined her fingers around his and squeezed his hand lightly and they both grinned at each other.
"ew," Henry groaned.
"Dear passengers, please buckle up as we are approaching touch down."
At the airport, Hook nearly didn't make it through because his Hook wasn't permitted. So he begrudgingly gave up his hook, only to sneak back and snatch it back.
Emma shook her head as Hook walked back towards them, with a triumph smile on his face.
"This hook goes wherever I go,"
"And what am I supposed to call you now, Captain Hand?"
"Killian will do,"
Killian was so close to kissing her when Henry screamed, "Mom!" And ran towards Regina who was walking towards them.
Hello Henry!" Regina's face lit up immediately upon seeing her son.
"Hey Regina," said Emma.
Hook was smirking at Regina.
"Yes, hello to you too expired pirate mascot."
"I appreciate the concerted effort to be nice." Killian replied sarcastically.
"Cool it both of you," said Emma.
Both Regina and Killian smirked at each other.
"Captain Hook is devoid of his hook, how amusing."
"Killian's fine m'lady."
Regina cringed a little at the salutation but managed to hide it.
"Alright guys, why don't we go find a place to stay?" Said Emma.
Regina let out a chuckle and brought the trio to where her car was parked.
"So do you know where we're going to stay?" Asked Emma.
"Not a clue," replied Regina shaking her head.
"Pirate cove inn! That looks rather interesting!" Yelled Killian from his seat and jabbing at the window.
"No, we are not staying at a inn themed for 10-13 year old kids."
"I don't see the problem," snapped Killian.
"Don't fight me on this unless you would like to be hired as their next pirate mascot, entertaining 10 to 13 year olds for the rest of your miserable life. Also please stop jabbing my window screen, you're going to leave your filthy fingerprints. I don't need any other mark of you on my trip."
Killian pouted and grumbled and leaned back in his seat.
"You act like Henry when he didn't get his latest Marvel action figure for Christ's sakes." Regina rebuked
"Really?" You had to? It was limited edition and Storybrooke didn't bring it in!" Came Henry from the back.
Emma let out a loud laugh and Regina laughed along before turning up the radio to hear, Thirsty Merc's, In The Summertime play.
Reviews are magical. Thanks for the support!
