Thanks for the reviews everyone and here is the next update. A commission was done for me on deviantART by crimson-nemesis of Moondancer, Micro and Aria together. It's a beautiful piece and if you're interested, go check it out. With this chapter it all set in different time frames so something happened an hour before this but hopefully no one will be confused. Please R&R and ideas are always welcome.
Few moments earlier….
Falere online her sleepy optics after she felt something odd not too long ago. Her spark fluttered, it was warm and calming. It felt strange yet so right; she wasn't sure what it was.
She searched for her mother through her spark and she was right there like always. But something defiantly didn't feel right, not in a bad way but this left her confused.
Sitting up in her berth she looked around the dark room, gazing and seeing if maybe she was dreaming. But after giving a quick pinch to herself she knew she wasn't, but she had this feeling that kept bugging her.
Sighing, she hopped off the berth and went to Marbles own.
"Marble, wake up"
The young femme gurgled softly and stared at Falere "H-huh? What's going on?"
"Do you feel….odd?"
"Odd? I don't understand what you mean"
Falere huffed softly "I have this really strange feeling in my spark. It's warm and feels funny, like someone is playing with it"
"Is it a virus?" Marble asked almost in panic but Falere shook her head.
"I don't think so, I'm not sure but I might wake my mum and ask her. I just thought I wasn't the only one"
"Are you ok?"
"I'll be fine. Sorry I woke you, Marble"
"It's ok" She yawned before falling against the berth again.
Falere slowly made her way out of the room and headed to her mother's quarters. Small sounds from her feet tapped the ground in the silent house and let out a soft yawn.
"Muma?" She softly called out as she neared the room.
She peaked in but saw that she wasn't there "Mum?" She looked around and came closer to the berth but saw nothing.
She noticed some data pads lying on the floor and went over to pick them up. Now she had a better look at them she noticed that were data pictures. She activated one and smiled to see her mum and aunt together.
Her aunt was so young and life was cut so short. She wished she got to know her, know her better.
Sighing she placed it back down and headed out the room "Mum?" She called out once more.
A sudden shake that caused the house to rattle made her stop in her tracks, trying to think over what in primus name just happened.
Soft quicken breaths left her, looking out the window to see a ball of fire and smoke not far from them.
"M-mum!?"
There was no time for her to get a response when an explosion hit directly right in the side of their home, sending her flying and into a wall. The blow was so hard it made her dizzy for a short moment.
Once she was focused on everything she looked around herself and saw only fire, screams filled her audios and she panicked.
"MUM!?" She screamed out in fear.
The floor below her gave way and sent her falling into the rubble below her. A scream sounded from her before she came in contact with the bottom, everything than blanked out.
About an hour into the cities attack there was only chaos, screams and murder everywhere. The decepticon's took pleasure in offlining those they pleased and chased around the rest like a dog herding sheep.

The thick air was like toxic fumes that hardly anyone could vent into their systems, it made getting away much harder.
We're searching for you

The song continued throughout the city in those early hours of the morning. So much hurt, loss and panic, no one deserved this.
We know when your recharging
We know when your awake
We know you will be found
So come on out for fragging sake!
It was unknown who had been captured or offline, but all anyone cared about was getting themselves and their loved one somewhere safe. Right now the only place everyone was taking refuge was at the medic hospital.
But decepticon's weren't making it easy for them.
O! You better watch out
You better not cry

Aria….
Small soft whimpers were heard from a terrified sparkling who was confused and lost. One moment she was recharging and the next were loud explosions, no one ever expected it.
Aria cuddled herself with her knees to her chest and weak sobs left her. Her helm pounded and face was sticky with tears.
She couldn't get in touch with anyone, not even with her brother. This has never happened before and for the first time in her life she was all alone, she had no clue what to do now.
Wait? Find help?
Honestly she didn't want to move from her spot, worried that someone bad will find her. Aria got a glimpse of large mech's marching past her hidden spot and noticed the decepticon symbols on them. She knew what was happening, and she didn't like it.
All she thought was just stay seated where she was and hope for someone she knew to find her. She just continued whimpering.
An odd feeling was in her spark which stirred her up, not knowing what it was. It was new but comforting and warm, like it was trying to calm her. However it only scared her more as she didn't understand it.
A noise made her gasp and freeze in her place. A pair of red optics was the first thing she saw in the darkness, past the fallen rubble she hid under to stay out of sight but unfortunately was easily spotted by the small ones.
Aria tried to crawl back, to get away as the strange creature moved towards her. But there was no room or any escape for her, she was trapped. She did all she could think of. Cry.
Her helm buried in her arms crossed over her knees, sobbing and wanting nothing more than this nightmare to end. She could hear the creature coming closer to her, feel its breath, heard it sniffing.
Aria whimpered louder fearing it was going to eat her now and no help was coming at all.
Something happened though she never expected. If felt like forever she's been crying and wanted it all to stop, and it did. A soft, warm and wet feel slid across the top of her helm making her fall silent.
She than hear purrs, calming purrs. Slowly moving her face up she stared directly into he optics of the creature in front of her. Fear gripped her once more but it faded quickly when the creature gave another lick against her cheek.
Ravage had been looking for her since the attack started. All she wanted to do was calm her down and let her know she wasn't going to hurt her.
Aria sniffed as Ravage licked away the tears from her face, purrs vibrated against her tender body and strangely it soothed her. She didn't know why the creature before her was acting like this, but right now she was more relaxed and didn't want it to end.
Ravage knew the poor sparkling was scared but she didn't need to be now. Slowly, she stepped closer and laid down beside her resting her helm in the sparkling's lap and continued to purr.
Aria hiccupped as her tears stopped, looking down at the creature confused why it was here. Without thinking she moved her servo down towards the helm and gave a gentle pet.
If Ravage could she would have said 'You're safe' and let her know everything was going to be alright.
Aria didn't know what to do at this moment. Why was this creature staying with her? She could clearly see the decepticon symbol on her, but it didn't seem as scary to her anymore.
The sound of approaching footsteps caught her attention and looked through the rubble around her to see who it was. She couldn't see very well, but right away noticed the symbol.
The figure now stopped beside her and the rubble was being lifted.
"G-go away!" Aria screamed and crawled out of the only opening trying to get up on her feet.
Once on her feet she tried to run for it, but sadly her poor feet didn't want to. She tumbled and tripped over them more than three times, her legs just didn't want to move anymore. Aria felt the tears leaving her optics once again and her legs started shaking, she just felt weak.
Where was her brother? Where was her mother? Where was anyone?
Whimpers and soft cries escaped her, sitting in the open now in the middle of the footpath with the figure approaching from behind.
She closed her optics not wanting to see who it was and feared the worst was going to happen now. Curling herself in a ball she cried into her arms, hoping to wake up soon in her room and this nightmare to be over.
Something happened though that changed everything.
'Don't fear me, Aria' the voice whispered through her.
Aria didn't know where it came from, but defiantly heard it in her mind. She almost screamed when a servo brushed over her helm but it was soft, caring, almost loving.
'You're safe my child'
With all the courage there was left in her she slowly looked up at the figure, and was left speechless.
Soundwave knelt down closer to the small sparkling in front of him, showing he was no threat to her. He knew this was his daughter, his beautiful Aria.
Aria's watery optics stared at him for a long moment, trying to remember if this was who she thought it was. She reached to her wrist and activated the small hidden data picture. Soundwave and herself popped up in view, both recharging and holding each other closely when she was just a tiny sparkling.
Soundwave remembered that moment very well, he could never forget about it. He moved his servo closer to her face and cupped one end of it, rubbing softly before the other cupped her other cheek.
Aria vented at the feeling, strangely not afraid anymore now she knew who was in front of her.
Ravage came up next to her master and waited. She was just happy Soundwave got back what he wanted.
It remained silent for a bit longer as the two enjoyed their moment, after so long Soundwave finally had his daughter back.
Aria, finally found her voice and it came out so quietly "Dad?"
Soundwave's spark warmed hearing this, something he's never heard before and has waited to hear for almost a decade.
"I'm here Aria. I'll keep you safe" He then moved his servos under her arms and lifted her up.
All Aria did was burry her head into his shoulder, gathering the warmth and comfort from him. Both her arms snaked around his neck holding on for dear life. She found her dad, or her dad found her. It was just amazing and she never expected to have him in her life so soon but was glad he was here right now.
She didn't know where he was taking her but right now, she just wanted to get out of here. The only thing she hoped was her family and friends to be alright.
Soundwave made his way down the footpath and tried not to be spotted by anyone. He knew he would need to tell Megatron about this soon, but right now all he wanted was to get his daughter to safety.
"Ravage: Mission successful. Operation: Return to earth"
Starscream….
He never reached their home in time, it was destroyed and everything around him was just rubble. The decepticon's were having too much fun in their own twisted way, it all happened so fast.
Once he finally managed to reach their location he couldn't find anyone. Maybe they got away? There was only one way to find out.
'Darklight?'
He didn't get a response.
'Darklight, are you there?'
"Anything?" Thundercracker asked worried himself.
"Nothing" Starscream didn't know what to do, until he got what he was waiting for.
'Starscream?'
'Darklight! Where are you?'
'I'm ok. But Starscream-'
'Tell me where you are, I'll come and find you'
'I'm safe for now. I woke up in the medic bay hospital down town not long ago. Moondancer is unconscious though, but that's not the problem. Our sparkling's are missing'
'Missing? There not with you?'
'No' he could tell she was scared and worried 'S-starscream, I can't lose her'
'It's ok, it's ok. I'm going to find her, I promise. I'll make sure she's safe, along with Micro and Aria. I won't stop until I have them. You just rest and gather your strength'
'Thank you Starscream. Please find them'
The com-link was ended and Starscream let out a sigh "There ok, but the sparkling's are missing"
Slywarp exhaled "They could be still around their home, we should start there"
"We have to find them before the other's do" Thundercracker wasn't going to let harm come to them.
"Find who?"
The seekers turned around to find the constructicons standing together. How long have they been their?
"Great" Starscream mumbled "How much did you hear?"
"Not much" Long Haul stepped forward "What's going on? The three of you are acting strange"
"It's nothing" Starscream answered but Thundercracker figured it was time to come clean.
"Star, come on. We can't keep this a secret forever. He has the right to know"
"Know what? Who are you talking about?" Scrapper demanded.
"Starscream, you've been acting weird. Is there something we should know?" Hook knew something wasn't right since he got back from his little night out.
The SIC rubbed his forehead in frustration and thought maybe they could help find them. But that also meant everyone was going to find out and if Megatron was going to go after his daughter he will have to go through him.
He then looked Bonecrusher in the optics "You have to understand why I didn't say anything, it was for their safety"
Bonecrusher stared at him trying to figure out what he meant "What do you mean?"
"Just so you know, I only found out not long ago" He waited for a moment before finally letting it out "Darklight and Moondancer are in the city"
"What!?" Bonecrusher yelled and stormed closer to him "Why were you keeping this from me?!"
"Take it easy Crusher" Scavenger placed his hand over his shoulder.
"Why were you being so secretive about this?" Hook wondered himself.
"Because…" He sighed knowing it was going to be said out sooner or later "You know very well What Megatron would have done if he found out they were here. I wasn't going to let harm come to my family"
Scrapper narrowed his optics "Your family?"
"Darklight has a sparkling, my sparkling"
Silence was set between everyone, staring in confusion and disbelief with what Starscream just said.
"Are you sure?" Hook asked.
"Defiantly, I already saw her. That's why I didn't say anything because I was trying to protect my family. I couldn't risk other's knowing. Megatron would hunt them down, if he hasn't already found out about them"
Bonecrusher stared at him with a blank expression for a while now. He then turned on his heels and started to walk away.
"Where you going?" Thundercracker asked.
"Where do you think?"
"Bonecrusher, Moondancer is safe. But the sparkling's are missing that's why we have to look for them"
"I don't care about Moondancer!" He spat her name so bitterly "I'm going to find my son"
"Well follow me since I'm the only one who has half and idea where the sparkling's might be" Starscream headed in another direction with Bonecrusher right on his tail.
The seekers and other constructicons followed behind, still a little shocked by the news Starscream just said. But knew the sparkling's life were hanging by a thread and they needed to find them.
Micro….
He didn't know how long he's been here all by himself, but knew he was alone. Micro struggled to get free from the sharp object that had its weight against his leg sending so much pain through him.
He had to stay brave though, because panicking wouldn't help the situation he was in right now.
"Mum? Aria? Darklight? Falere?" He called out hoping for someone to hear him.
Micro had no idea what was going on in the city. He was woken from an explosion but then everything went blank for him. By the time he woke up again he was where he was trapped right now. He couldn't reach his sister or mum, his com-link was all scrappy.
Sighing he rested his back against whatever was behind him, figuring he might rest until help came.
The hole above him was what he fell through, and what use to be his room. He hoped Aria was near him but he had already tried calling out for her and never got a response. She might be with mum, that's right. She was safe.
Whatever was above him though started to creak and shift slowly and stopping again. It was going to fall on top of him if he didn't move, but had no way of escape. He tried to relax and just keep still, hearing out for anything that might have been walking past or hear any voices.
Time had passed. He had no idea how long.
His optics started to flicker and recharge was slowly creeping on him, but tried his best to stay online knowing it would just put him in more danger.
But his optics slowly drifted in and out and his helm rested next to him. All he could do was hope someone will find him.
He then heard an approaching noise, footsteps.
"H-hello?" He called out followed by a cough from the dust he's vented in "Anyone there?"
He sighed in relief hearing them coming closer to him and looked up to see a figure appear.
"Hey kid, you alright?"
"I think so, my leg is stuck though" Micro shifted only to cause the large rubble above him shift again.
"Don't move Micro, we'll get you out" The figure moved into the whole and came next to him.
"How do you know my name?" Micro asked before noticing the red optics.
He then spotted two purple symbols on his wings and remained silent. He felt fear and confusion all through his mind.
The figure seemed to notice this and raised his hands with a gentle smile "Don't worry, I'm a friend of you mum's. My name is Thundercracker"
Micro thought for a moment "That sounds familiar. I-I think she has spoken about you"
Thundercracker smiled and knelt down lower "You're mother is a good femme, and we're going to make sure you're safe" He got into the com-link and told Starscream where he was.
The seeker than sat down next to Micro with a sigh "Are you hurt?"
"My leg is stuck. It hurt before but not so much now"
That wasn't good. Thundercracker knew if he didn't do something the kid might lose all feeling in that leg.
"Alright" He tried to lift the object but caused the floor above him to give way and fall on top of them "You ok!?"
"Y-yeah" Micro stumbled feeling not so well.
"Thundercracker, where are you?" A voice called out.
"Over here!" He replied and smiled down at Micro "Everything's going to be fine, you're safe with us"
Skywarp came into view and saw the two "Bro, everything ok?"
"Not really, we need the constructicons to lift this off him"
Micro looked up at the seeker trying to see if he heard his right. Thundercracker looked down at him and smiled "You're dad is going to get you out"
His dad was here?
The dust abound them lifted as other's jumped into the open hole. Micro could hear them but wasn't able to see properly. Once it was settled, Micro was sighted with six other bots that resembled him and stared with wonder at them. One however caught his attention, someone he recognized.
Bonecrusher didn't waste time to come to his son's aid, he wasn't going to let harm come to him. He looked down at the sparkling who was trapped under the rubble and the two stared at each other for a moment.
Hook was the first to speak "Wow. Look at you" He said with a smile looking down at Micro. He had grown so much.
Bonecrusher stepped closer to him almost nerves and knelt down lower to the sparkling. Micro continued to stare, waiting for him to say something.
"Hey kid" Bonecrusher gave a gentle smile "I'm you're-"
"Dad" Micro answered for him and he was quite surprised "Y-you're my dad"
"How did you know?"
Micro activated the data picture on his wrist and showed him how he knew "My mum gave this to me and I always keep it close. I knew who you were right away"
Mixmaster chuckled "Oh, I remember that"
"Yep. You two looked so cute" Long Haul joked to his friend.
But now wasn't the time to laugh, Micro had to be set free "Come on" Bonecrusher said moving aside so he could get a hold of on end of the rubble "All together"
They got in position and on three they started to lift it off his leg. Once free, Thundercracker grabbed Micro and right away climbed out so he was out of there.
Micro grunted feeling the energon seeping out of his leg slowly and tried to put weight on it once he was set down but it hurt too much.
"How bad does it hurt?"
"Pretty bad"
Bonecrusher hurried out and was right beside his son "You ok, Micro?"
"I don't know" He admitted.
"We'll get you fixed up, don't worry" He turned around at Hook "Can you fix his leg?"
"I can, but not here. The only place I can is back at Earth"
He nodded and slowly picked Micro up in his arms, resting him against his chest and making sure he was comfortable "How does that feel?"
Micro nodded "I'm good, thanks"
His friends stared at the two and were just happy he had his son again. But it wasn't over. He needed to get to safety.
Starscream spoke "Bonecrusher, take him back to earth. He'll be safe there for now"
"Wait!" Micro almost panicked "My sister, and my friends. I don't know where they are"
Thundercracker stepped forward "We're going to find them don't worry" He then realized he said friends, and wondered "You're friends, do they have the decepticon code?"
"Yeah, they do. There are four of us"
"There could be more but were unsure" Scrapper said wondering forward.
Starscream stepped forward "What about Falere?"
Micro wasn't sure how he knew her name but answered "She would never leave her friends, she's most likely looking for us. You know her?"
He nodded "She's my daughter" With that said he transformed into his jet mode and took off over the city to locate them.
Micro was still processing what he had just said and soon let out a soft smile knowing Falere was finally going to meet her dad.
"I've got you champ, let's get your leg fixed" Bonecrusher never loosen his hold on Micro, never wanting to let go again of him.
No one was going to take his son away from him again.
Falere….
Mush time had passed since Megatron gave the signal, it was a living nightmare.
Falere continued to lie under the fallen rubble from what use to be her home. Not long after a soft groan was heard from the sparkling, her servos right away trying to push herself up.
Falere blinked her optics to adjust them but was only sighted with dust filled air. Confused and feeling sore she managed to lift herself up and try to crawl her way out from the rubble.
A noise caught her attention not far from her, it sounded like coughing.
"Hello?" She called out hoping for a reply, and that is what she got.
"Falere?" It was Marble.
Falere followed the voice and didn't take long for her to find her friend.
"Marble, are you ok?" She helped her up onto her feet and brushed the dust off her. She noticed her arm was leaking energon "You're bleeding"
"I know" She sighed looking at her injury. It did hurt and tried not to show it "Falere, you're bleeding too" She pointed to her helm.
Falere touched her forehead and got her servos covered in energon. It must have happened when she hit her head, and she didn't even feel or notice it "I'll be ok"
"What happened?"
Falere wished she knew "I don't know, let's go find my mum"
"What about Micro and Aria?"
"We'll look for them as well"
The two sparkling's made their way out of the rubble and then found themselves in the opening. Everything around them didn't look the same anymore. Screams in the distance filled their audios, the burning fire and smoke in the city was almost hard to vent in.
"Do you think its decepticons?" Marbled asked.
Falere didn't know, but that was her best guess "Maybe. Come on. Let's see if we can find anyone else"
Neither of the two knew where they were going, their home was destroyed along with everything else. But they had to stay brave if they wanted to get somewhere safe.
The two got onto the footpath and headed down it hoping to find someone they knew. Another bomb was set off not far away from them causing the femmes to scream loudly and crouch down. Falere needed to be brave and she knew it, Marble was already scared enough and needed to be strong for everyone.
"Everything will be ok Marble. We stick together no matter what"
"We stick together" The both of them then held hands tightly never letting go.
"Falere? Marble?"
Both the femmes turned around to see Deltastorm running towards them.
"Storm!" Falere squealed, just so happy he was ok. She ran towards him and gave him a bear hug.
"O-ok that's a tight hug" He felt himself being squeezed so hard "Are you both ok? You're bleeding"
"Were fine" Marble answered "Where are you parents?"
"I don't know. When the explosions started we ran out the house but I got separated from them. I've been wondering for hours and trying not to be caught.
Falere narrowed her optics "Caught? By who?"
"The decepticons"
"So it is them" Marble sighed "W-well….we have the programming, maybe they won't hurt us"
"I doubt it" Deltastorm didn't want to risk it, he's seen enough already to know what they were capable of. But didn't dare to say anything to his friends "I'd rather find the adults and get out of here"
"Same" Falere agreed "Have you seen either Micro or Aria?"
"No. I was just heading to your placing but then I saw you here. I didn't know where else to go"
"It's ok. We stick together. Everything's going to be alright"
The sparkling's were then sent flying back as another bomb set off and caused everything to blow up in the face. They groaned at the impact and tried to get themselves back on their feet. They heard what sounded like jet engines and only one thing came in mind.
"Hide!" Falere ordered and the three of them got under cover so they were out of sight.
Falere watched as the flying jet approached.
A F-15 eagle was soaring overhead. The main body was white but the cockpit was a gleaming shade of amber, the tip of its nose was blue, each wing had a streak of red running along it which matched the colour of its turbines and both its vertical stabilizers were red and blue.
The decepticon symbol was displayed on each wing in the deep purple and under each wing were a laser guns and missile launchers. The jet circled the area where Falere was before it dived in for a landing, transformed before it hit the ground.
The decepticon stood up and the three sparkling's saw the wings flare proudly on his back, identical to what they were in his alt-mode, which identified him as a seeker. They noticed the blood red optics on him but Falere noticed they were saddened, something's she's noticed in her mother before.
She stared in wonder and delight at the seeker, never seeing another one like herself in the city she thought it was a real treat to be staring at one.
"Wow" She whispered softly.
"That was so cool" Marble's fear was replaced by excitement and she covered her mouth to stop herself from squealing out.
Deltastorm was slightly amazed since he's never seen a full grown seeker before, but they had to remember he was a decepticon. He had an odd feeling though; something about this seeker was different.
Statrscream sighed as he looked around him, no sight of anyone. He had circled their home for so long before he was convinced no one was there. Darklight was safe though he knew that, at least for now.
But his daughter was missing and promised Darklight he was going to find her. He'll keep searching, no matter what.
He got on the com-link 'Thundercracker, find anything?'
'Nothing from this side, but I'll keep looking. The constructicons went back to earth together with Micro so he's ok for now'
'Yeah, that's good' But he wasn't overly joyed since he couldn't find Falere.
'We're going to find her Starscream, just have to keep looking'
The sparkling's watched as the seeker spoke to someone over his com-link, curios to know what they were saying.
"Who do you think he's talking to?" Marble asked.
"How should we know?" Deltastorm narrowed his optics "Could be anyone"
Marble tilted her helm "Maybe he will help us"
"I'm not risking it, I don't want to be caught I just want to find my parents"
Marble stared at Deltastorm concerned "Are you afraid?"
"No!" He didn't want to admit it. He let out a sigh "Marble, you haven't seen what I've seen tonight. Trust me. We don't want to get caught"
Marble left it at that "What should we do Falere?" She looked to where she was supposed to be but wasn't there "Falere?" She started looking around her franticly.
Deltastorm looked ahead of him and gasped to see Falere walking towards the seeker "Falere!" He hissed softly.
Marble whispered softly "What is she doing!?"
The two sparkling's watched Falere as she approached the seeker.
She had no idea what made her do it, but something told her not be afraid. Falere slowly stepped closer as the seeker had his back facing her unaware of the sparkling near him.
Falere gulped a little feeling unsure now, but her legs kept moving. She was so close now, at hand reach just about.
If she got his attention he will know of her present. Slowly she started to reach forward towards his leg to give him a slight tap. Her servos just inches away before she stopped and pulled her hand back.
Fear suddenly had taken over and now she wished she never left her hiding spot. Slowly but quickly, she stepped back away and shuffled to where her friends were. She missed the small piece of fallen rubble and tripped over it, letting out a soft grunt as she landed on her behind.
Starscream had heard the noise and right away turned around to see who it was. Nothing, but then he looked down.
"Falere?" He gasped softly.
The sparkling stared up at the seeker with wide optics unsure what to do now. She watched the seeker stare back before he knelt down closer to her only causing the sparkling to shift back slowly.
"It's ok Falere, I'm not going to hurt you" Starscream wanted nothing more than to hold her close but knew she was just scared right now "You can trust me" He noticed the small trickle of energon on her helm "Did you bump you head? We'll get that fixed"
It than clicked to her "H-how do you know my name?"
Starscream smiled "I only saw you not long ago, you were recharging. I didn't want to disturb you and your mother said you're a heavy recharger" He chuckled gently "She's done an amazing job raising you, you look so much like her"
Falere was unsure why the seeker was rambling now, but it just left more questions for her to ask. She frowned softly "Who are you?"
