Felix's P. O. V.

I woke up in the morning as Cry walked into the room, a look of defeat on his face. I sat up and he smiled. He smiled back and I leaned on his shoulder when he sat on the bed next to me. He leaned against the headboard and sighed.

I leaned against him and poked at his mask. He smiled and pulled it off, not even bothering with the strings. I leaned up and kissed him gently, leaning my head on his shoulder. He leaned his own head on mine and sighed again.

"What's up?"

He squeezed my hand.

"Jake's gone."

Cry's P. O. V.

I woke at dawn with Felix still asleep in my arms. I smiled down at him and remembered Jake. Rage grew in me as I gently pulled away from Felix and left the room.

I walked out into the woods and towards the house where Jake was hidden. I unlocked and opened the door, treading carefully. After unlocking and opening the basement I walked down with a glass of water and a knife. I looked around for my prisoner and dropped the cup of water.

The chain hung was limp on the floor, the prisoner supposed to be held in them nowhere to be seen. The handcuff hung lamely from the radiator, shattering my happiness. A slight breeze blew through the room, as though a window was opened...

"No. Felix...!"

I raced from the room, not bothering with the latch or lock. If Jake was out again, he would go after Felix and probably kill him. If I reached Felix first, I could save him, even if it meant I died in his place.

I ran as fast as I could through the trees, hurdling logs and anything else in my path until I broke through the trees and out near Felix's house. I ran up to the door and found a note taped to it.

"My men will find you. And when they do, they will bring your little lover to me and I will kill him slowly, painfully. Don't cross me, Ryan."

I sighed and sprinted up the stairs, praying Felix would still be sleeping peacefully. I opened the door and looked in. Felix was still asleep.

I closed the door and turned around to see him sitting up, conscious, living. I smiled in relief and walked over, sitting down on the bed and wrapped my arm around Felix as he leaned on my shoulder. I leaned against the headrest, utterly drained of energy.

I felt Felix poking at my mask. I smiled, pulling the the mask off my face without even bothering to untie the strings.

He leaned up and kissed me gently, lifting my spirits and giving me strength. He pulled away and rested his head on my shoulder, resting his forehead on my neck. I rested my head in his and sighed happily.

"What's up?"

I just sighed and imagined the only four people who could help me in this situation.

"Jake's gone."
