WOW ITS BEEN TWO MONTHS! IM REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY SORRY. I know this short chapter isn'y much compensation for the long wait but it's all I could muster at the moment.
Enjoy the shortness!
"I knew this would happen," Hellfire said darkly, looking around the dark autobot brig. The only source of light came from a small vent near the ceiling, and of course the optics of the two occupants.
"And yet you came anyway," Letra said in a soft voice.
Hellfire made a grunt of affirmation.
"Come on, it's not that bad. Pit, it's not much worse in this brig than it was back home, and you know it. At least we have a place to rest and energon in our tanks. We wouldn't have lasted much longer out there."
"You don't know that," he responded tersely, his red optic flaring in the dark.
"Bee wouldn't have."
Their optics met, red latching onto blue, the former quickly shifting away.
"You're right, I just feel like I did something wrong."
"Just cause that big black mech beat you up a bit doesn't meant you messed up. You did the right thing, all this time you've been doing the right thing. Tell me something, is saving to helpless younglings doing something wrong? Is taking on a ruthless group of seekers and winning with words alone? Is saving Tinker, and Bee, and I wrong?"
"Not at all," He said more cheerily, looking up and smirking, "I couldn't have done it without you though."
Letra smiled a sad smile, scooting up beside Hellfire and leaning her helm on his shoulder strut. They had made it through so much, they would make it through this.
"I hope Bee's alright," The green and yellow femme said, her words hanging in the air.
Meanwhile, in the frantic medbay Ratchet was grumpily trying to push everyone out of his way and into the hall. He already had enough pressure without all those optics tracking his every move.
Everything had gone downhill when the groundbridge in his medbay had opened. More like things had tripped at the top of a cliff and were stumbling and falling helplessly until they reached the bottom and fell off another cliff only to land in a woodchipper at the very bottom. Well, it could be worse.
Ratchet had gotten Bee into the frantic medbay and started working on him as Optimus had been forced to bring the others (sans strange purple youngling, who was being treated by a trainee) to the brig, not for the ships safety but for their own, Ironhide hadn't looked too friendly at the time.
After all this had transpired the medic was left in a relatively empty room, Ironhide was standing like a rock in the corner and Ratchet had neither the time nor the courage to remove him, but at least he wasn't making any noise.
It was then that Ratchet could fully turn his attention to Bee. There wasn't a plate of armor on the young bot that wasn't damaged. His legs looked as though he had walked through a smelting pit and his chassis wasn't much better. It was a state ratchet rarely saw bots in, let alone younglings.
He had to work fast, and he wasn't sure if even that would be fast enough.
So I'm kind at a slump in this story I don't know what to finish it off with. If you have any ideas/requests please tell me! Review por favor!
