Written for the Multi-Ship Challenge (DaphnePansy, lilies) and the Open Category Comp (femslash)

"What's this?" Pansy asks, eyes moving over the cluster of brightly colored petals.

"Flowers," Daphne says simply. "I thought that was fairly obvious."

Pansy rolls her eyes, plucking a lily from the bouquet. "I can see that," she says dryly, casting the vivid orange plant aside. "But why?"

"I brought you pansies last week, and you called me an idiot," Daphne explains. "So, I thought I'd find a flower you like. Rose? No? Iris? Petunia?"

With each word, she sets the corresponding flower aside, feeling defeated as the bouquet quickly shrinks. Nothing seems to make Pansy happy, and she can't help but to slump forward with a groan.

"Do you know why I called you an idiot?" Pansy asks at last, tucking her finger's under Daphne's chin and lifting gently so that their eyes meet. "Because you're not the sweet, fluffy gesture type, love. And neither am I. Why do you think we work so well together?"

"So... You don't like the flowers?"

"Not really," Pansy answers, placing a quick kiss on Daphne's lips. "But I like you."
