Chapter 20: The Night of Vampires

Blaze followed Dracula to a large bedchamber.

"Welcome to your new home," Dracula said.

Blaze's eyes widened. She blushed. "Thank you...my lord and husband." She purred.

Dracula smiled and the two lay down on the bed, looking at each other fondly.

Blaze purred again. "Well my love? Shall we?"

Dracula nodded and kissed her. He pushed Blaze on the bed, kissing her passionately. She purred in response. Dracula moved his hands down her sides resting at her hips. Blaze kissed him. Pressing up against Blaze, Dracula moved his hands down to her thighs. He kissed her face as his hips moved against hers, his hands gripped on her legs. Wrapping her legs around his waist, Dracula resumed kissing her.

"I'm happy I chose you as my bride," he said. "I love you."

"I love you as well." She purred into his ear.

Dracula smiled, and they continued to make love. When they were done, Dracula sighed and got out of bed. Blaze was beside him. "Shall we see how the others are doing?" He asked with an evil grin on his face.

"Yes." Blaze smirked.

Dracula chuckled and nodded. He and Blaze transformed into wolves and ran out of the castle, heading towards where the others vampires were. When they got there, they were very pleased. The townsquare was dominated with a large pile of drained humans, and screams were still piercing the night air. Dracula let out a victorious howl with Blaze joining in. They saw the other vampires in their bat forms flying above the town. Dracula smirked. The bats landed and turned back to normal, bowing before their master.

Tails spoke. "My lord...we have killed almost all of the residents of Transylvania...a few have fled into the countryside...shall we hunt them down?"

"Yes...do that. Have you turned some into vampires like I asked?" Dracula asked.

Tails smirked. "Yes, about half the residents we turned, however, the blood frenzy overcame us and them afterwards, and we all began to drain humans rather than turn them."

Dracula chuckled. "That is fine. You said the rest have fled into the countryside? Go turn those humans also. I shall come with you."

Tails nodded, then turned and walked back over to stand beside Silver.

Silver looked at him and smiled. "What are we going to do after we take Transylvania?"

"That decision falls to Lord Dracula."

Silver nodded and asked Dracula the same thing. Dracula smirked, his fangs flashing in the moonlight as he replied. "We will go to other countries and spread vampirism there, killing people also." Silver bowed to him. Dracula chuckled. "First, though, let us turn the rest of the humans that fled."

He turned into a giant bat and flew off towards the countryside, as the others followed him. He caught sight of a few humans fleeing, then dived towards them. The vampire turned back to normal, as did the others, and bit the remaining humans on the necks but didn't kill them, transforming them into vampires. They quickly transformed again and flew into the cool night sky again, on the lookout for more humans to turn. Once they had found the rest of the humans that had run from them, Dracula was ecstatic. He began to laugh. It was an evil, maniacal laugh that chilled even the other vampire's unbeating hearts.

"Excellent," he said, and turned to the other vampires. "Kill them."

Tails made the mistake of questioning Dracula. "But...I thought you wanted us to turn them, not kill them."

Dracula glared at him. "We will turn more later, Miles. Do I need to repeat myself? I want you to kill them!"

Tails gulped, realizing that he had nearly gotten himself killed. "Yes my lord, I am sorry for questioning you. It will not happen again."

"It better not."

Tails just nodded silently.

Dracula chuckled and nodded. "Good. Now, do as I say...and kill those pathetic humans."

Tails and Silver smirked before racing forward. Dracula turned to Blaze, and noticed the eagerness and slight longing in her eyes as she watched Tails and Silver chase down the humans.

"Go ahead," he told his bride. "Join them."

She smiled gratefully, then gave him a quick kiss before running after the others. Dracula blushed before deciding to join them himself. However, he would let Shadow join. The vampire closed his eyes and began to transform into the physical form of Shadow. The transformation was over quickly, and Shadow stood in Dracula's place, yet another servant to the evil vampire, having been taken over after a futile and short mental battle earlier.

He opened his crimson eyes and smirked as he telepathically thanked his master. Thank you, Lord Dracula, for allowing me to feed.

You're welcome, Dracula said telepathically. You may join them.

Shadow nodded, then ran forward as well. He dug his fangs into one of the humans, starting to drain them of blood.

The man he had bitten screamed, but quickly fell silent. Shadow continued to drain him, he and Dracula both savoring his rich blood. When the man was dead, Shadow looked around for more victims. His gaze fell upon a woman and her child, and he quickly ran them down. They screamed but the vampire caught up to them. He smirked evilly and killed them also. The other vampires killed some other people as well before stopping. They saw Shadow and bowed.

"Lord Dracula...or is it Shadow right now?" Tails asked carefully.

"It's Shadow. Lord Dracula gave me control so I could enjoy this night as well."

Tails nodded and spoke. "Well then, how about we continue to enjoy it?" A smirk flitted across his face.

Shadow smirked and nodded. He was about to lead the others after the fleeing humans when Dracula spoke from his mind. You shall be my second-in-command after Blaze, Dracula said.

Shock appeared on Shadow's face, then he smiled. Thank you my lord.

Dracula stopped communicating, and Shadow led the others after the humans.
