Its Monday here you go. I must say I'm kind of sad to how many reviews I got for the last one. I gave you a long chapter with a smut scene you all asked for and then I only get four reviews for it. That's just unfair. But all right I'll forgive you. Hope I get more on this one though. Anyway here you go. Enjoy.

I was woken up by an awful ringing right next to my head.

Groaning I shifted and reached for it. Not even awake enough to open my eyes and check who it is before answering.

"Hello?" I asked in a sleepy voice.

"Alec open the door, I need your help with a case." I groaned again as Jace's words reached me. Seriously now?

I looked at the clock on the bedside table to see what time it is. Feeling like punching Jace when I saw. "Jace its six am on my day off. Leave me alone."

"Get up lazy ass." He said way too loudly for my comfort. "I brought coffee." He added way too cheerfully for six am.

"Fine. I'll be right out." I said before hanging up. Knowing that he won't give up and I might as well get a coffee out of it if he woke me up at six anyway.

I groaned and rolled out of the bed. Feeling the now familiar pain in my lower back that I actually got quite used to by now.

"Where are you going?" I heard Magnus ask me when he lost my warmth next to him.

I turned to look at him as I pulled on my boxers in a heist to get to Jace as fast as possible before he has any reason to be suspicious. I was met by gold and green eyes looking at me curiously. Sleep still evident in hi features. I knew he would rather go back to sleep then anything else in the moment. He really isn't an early riser.

"Jace is waiting outside for me to let him into my apartment. He says he needs a help with a case." I fought down a yawn as I said it. Looking for my pants now in the pile of clothes littering the floor from last night.

Magnus groaned as he flopped back onto the pillows more. "Don't go. Stay." He pleated.

I smiled as I looked up at him, now fully clothed, but shook my head. No matter how tempting that sounds and no matter how much I wanted to stay this is Jace we're talking about. He won't stop nagging until I give in and will start suspecting something too. And I can't afford that. I'm not ready for him to know yet. I just can't. Not yet.

"Sorry I can't." I said as I walked to him and kissed him. A quick kiss from which I reluctantly pulled away fast.

"No." Magnus whispered and pulled me in again just as I pulled away. Claiming my lips in a longer kiss. But I couldn't find it in me to complain as our lips moved in sync until we had to break away for air.

I laughed slightly as we did. Seeing him pout as I moved out of reach. "Go back to sleep Magnus. I'll come back when he leaves."

He sighed in defeat and pulled the covers more up. "Fine."

I chuckled as I turned to leave. "Sleep well."

It wasn't until I was already opening the bedroom door that he spoke up again.

"Love you darling."

I stopped at hearing him say that. A smile spreading on my lips as it did every other time he said he loves me. It still felt unreal. "Love you too Magnus. See you again soon."

And with that I was rushing out of the door before I give in and go back to Magnus's embrace. Consequences be damned.

But I didn't. And soon enough I was opening Magnus front door and stepping out. Coming face to face with a shocked and confused Jace.

"That's not your apartment." Jace pointed out, looking at the door as I closed it.

"I know. I needed my neighbor for…something." As I said it I hoped he can't see the slight blush I knew I had.

Jace was quiet for a little before speaking again.

"You get that he only wants to get into your pants." Jace stated more then asked making me blush out of a few reasons. One of which being that we have been doing more than just seeping in his bed for the past week. And yes that includes last night too. But luckily Jace didn't know that.

"It's not like that Jace." I protested but couldn't look him in the eyes so I just focused on unlocking the door. Yeah so lucky Jace doesn't know.

"Oh please. You can see his flirting with you from miles away. Don't tell me you don't notice." He said in disbelief but I didn't answer. Knowing that I will definitely say something wrong and won't be so lucky anymore. So I kept my mouth shut as I finally opened the door and ushered him inside. "So what do you need help with?" I asked to change the conversation.

Jace just looked at me for a moment more before shrugging and going to the couch. "So this Sebastian guy…" He started explaining and I sighed in relief as I sat down next to him. I would take work over having to explain Magnus to him any day.

And that's exactly what I did as he continued explaining and taking out folders and asking for my opinions until we were both deep in analyzing every detail making sure to check and double check so we don't miss anything. Serial killers are tricky that way.

I haven't even noticed how much time has passed until my stomach made a rumbling noise. Complaining about the fact that I haven't eaten anything today and its already…Two?! I was shocked as I looked at the clock. Where did the time go?

"A quick lunch break?" Jace asked as he stretched as much as he could while sitting on the couch surrounded everywhere by papers.

"Yeah I think that would be best." I got up and stretched too before making my way to the kitchen. Feeling way too stiff from sitting on that couch for so long.

"Hey what's that?" I heard Jace ask and I turned around to look at him questioningly. Only to find him staring at my stomach.

I looked down and with a blush noticed that my shirt rode up a little showing three obvious red marks on my pale skin.

Shit. I thought with a blush as I pulled the shirt back down and hurried into the kitchen and out of sight.

"Nothing. Just a mosquito bite." I said hoping he doesn't notice that my voice is shaking a little.

I'm hoping a lot today.

"There's one on your neck too." I jumped as I heard him speak from right behind me and quickly turned around to face him. Pulling my collar up.

"There are a lot of mosquito's here." I said weakly. Not liking how he looked at me.

The bell rang suddenly making me jump but also saving me from Jace's wondering gaze.

Saved by the bell has never been so literal in my life.

I quickly made my way to the door and opened it to revile none other than Magnus.

"Hi love." He smiled when he saw me. "You really need to stop leaving your gun at my place." Magnus said with a smile handing it back.

"I will when you stop pulling me there before I even have a chance to unlock my door." I pointed out as I put it away by the hanger. Indicating on all the times I came back lately only to find him waiting and pulling me right into his apartment with his lips on mine. But of course it wasn't something to complain about.

"We both know you love it so don't even try pretending otherwise." He said and I smiled. Yes I loved it.

He leaned forward to kiss me but I stopped him. "Not now. Jace is still here." I said and he furrowed his eyebrows before just looking annoyed.

"Still? Didn't he go away by now?" He complained.

I gave him a soft smile. "He has a big and tricky case. We need to make sure we don't miss anything."

He sighed. "Throw him out then. It's not your case."

I laughed. "He's my brother Magnus I need to help."

"What is it Bane want to get rid of me?" Jace spoke from behind me making me jump for the second time today. But seriously how does he do that? "What do you want from Alec anyway?"

"I needed to ask him something." Magnus answered politely. Standing enough away from me that Jace doesn't have any reason to think of anything I don't want him too. Something I was incredibly grateful for.

"Mhm…" Jace still sounded suspicious.

"Well anyway I'll see you later then darling." Magnus said as he turned to leave. "When you get rid of the nuisance problem." He added making me stifle a laugh as he went back to his apartment and I closed the door of mine. Fighting off the desire to go after Magnus instead of stay here. I wanted to kiss him. Why did I stop him back there? Jace wasn't even there to see.

Well better safe than sorry I guess.

Jace raised an eyebrow at me with a smirk when I looked back at him.

I knew he was indicating on Magnus's flirting again.

I just rolled my eyes and turned my back to him before he can notice the blush, making my way back to the living room. Food forgotten now as I only wanted to finish this as soon as possible so he can leave and I can go back to Magnus.

"Let's just go back to work."

"Whatever you say." Jace replied making me groan. "But you can't ignore the fact that he is constantly flirting with you. Maybe it would be better if you don't get so close to him. Who knows what will happen."

I suddenly felt guilty because of keeping it all a secret from Jace. Because really. There is nothing more that can happen that already didn't. He is a few weeks too late.

But I only thought this for a second before going back to looking through all the files again. Because thinking about all the things that happened isn't that smart with Jace sitting right next to me.

No. I need to focus.

But even as I thought it I knew it's not possible. Not anymore. Not when I was reminded that Magnus is right next door. Just one wall separating us.

By The Angel this is going to be a long few hours.

Did you like it? Tell me what you think.

So, I have been looking forward to this chapter from before I even started the story. It was one of the first scenes I ever thought for it and has in it the first four snippets that I wrote a week before I posted the first chapter. So this chapter is basically the whole reason this story even exists. Hope you like it. And hope you will review too and tell me what you think of it. Until next Monday…

Review my lovelies.
