Chapter 20

After nationals, they have come in first. After nationals, Dani looks for the familiar girl from the other team, which came in second.

"DANI!" The familiar voice shouts behind her. Before Dani could turn, the person tackles her to the ground. Looking up, Dani laughs seeing Caitlyn Gellar.

"CAITLYN!" Dani fakes shock.

"Now where is your twin and Taylor?"

"Wow, amazing greeting." Dani rolls her eyes. Caitlyn rolls her own eyes, helping Dani up.

"I missed you!" Tackling her best friend in a hug, Caitlyn spots Mitchie and Taylor over Dani's shoulder. Running at them, Dani bursts out laughing watching Caitlyn tackle Mitchie and Taylor to the ground. Seeing Will come up beside her, she sees a smirk.

"You knew she was here, didn't you?" Dani smiles.

"Yes. Mitchie remembered her number and called a few hours ago. Caitlyn and Mitchie didn't know we all were here until I spoke with Caitlyn's parents."

"It's an amazing surprise." Looking back to her best friend and siblings, Caitlyn is jumping up and down with Taylor coming over to them. Mitchie is too busy laughing letting herself get dragged.

"We are coming to Ohio with you!" Caitlyn states standing with her arms wrapped around Taylor's and Mitchie's shoulders, "Then we will be heading to Camp Rock when you are done school."

"Wait, what?" Dani questions faking confusion. Caitlyn just rolls her eyes repeating herself.

"Mom and dad have my bags and laptop. And this dress is annoying." Caitlyn pouts.

"How did you get out of school early?" Mitchie asks.

"I finished early. It's called annoying my teachers and getting my exams early."

"No surprised." The three siblings say as one as Caitlyn's parents walk over before talking to Will.

"Hey babe." Dani hears Santana's voice after thirty minutes of talking while the crowd thins.

"Hey." Dani smiles as Santana wraps her arms around her waist.

"You got a girlfriend! And you didn't tell me!" Caitlyn fakes hurt.

"Uh, Cait, I did tell you."

"When?"

"Fifteen minutes ago."

"Dang it." Rolling her eyes, Dani kisses Santana's chin.

"Babe, that's our best friend Caitlyn Gellar. Cait, this is my girlfriend Santana Lopez."

"You hurt Dani, I will kill you." Caitlyn threatens glaring.

"Cait, you can't shoot lasers from your eyes." Taylor reminds the older girl.

"Dang it." Caitlyn pouts looking at Taylor, "I think I had too much sugar."

"Yeah think!" The twins and Taylor say together.

"No need to gang up on me twins and Tay. And Santana, I'm serious, you hurt blondie, I will kill you."

"I already have Rachel, Mitchie, Will, Taylor and now you, plus myself who are in the group." Santana answers.

"Rachel!" Caitlyn turns looking at Mitchie, "You didn't tell me Rachel is here!"

"Oops?" Mitchie teases.

"RACHEL BARBARA BERRY GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE!" Caitlyn shouts over the noise.

Hearing running feet, everyone looks behind Caitlyn to see Rachel running over to them.

"Caitlyn Marie Gellar!" Watching them hug, Dani looks up at Santana.

"They are the only ones who call each other by their full names. Or even middle."

"Barbara, ready for rocking this summer?"

"Heck yeah, Marie."

It is the last day of school for the summer and Dani and Santana are currently walking home together, hand in hand.

"Do they accept phone calls?" Santana asks curiously.

"Yes they do. There is even cell phone reception." Dani answers.

"So, will your dad let you and I talk?"

"Oh I wanted to show you this. He gave Mitchie and I these, Taylor got a guitar." Stopping, Dani pulls out a cell phone from her bag.

"YES! May I see it?" Accepting the cell phone, Santana immediately puts her number in, and sees Will's, Rachel's and Mitchie's, "Would you like Artie's, Brittney's, and the others?"

"Sure." Quickly putting them in, Santana puts Dani's and Mitchie's numbers in her's.

"May we kiss now?" Santana pouts as they arrive to Will's apartment door.

"Yes." Dani laughs until Santana cuts it off by kissing her.

Finally they arrive to Camp Rock three days later. Rachel got her ride with Will since it's easier and picking up the girl is on the way.

Santana and Dani have been texting non-stop, when they are free.

"Shane!" Dani shouts when the older boy lifts her out of the car.

Jason does the same with Mitchie and Nate lifts Taylor out before lifting Rachel out.

Climbing out of the car, Will laughs hearing their laughter.

"Hi, I'm Shane Gray. You're Will Schuester, their father right?" Shane asks after tickling Dani.

"Yes. It's a pleasure to meet you." Will agrees.

"The taller guy is my older brother Jason. The shorter one is Nate."

"I have better hair." Nate comments lifting the bags out of the trunk.

"I'm their uncle and owner, Brown." Brown interrupts.

"And I'm Connie, the cook." Connie smiles.

"Connie!" Mitchie smiles giving her a hug, while Taylor and Dani hug Brown.

"Wait, Connie from Lima, Ohio, Connie?" Will questions.

"Yes. Nice to see you remember me, Will."

"Wait, what?" Taylor interrupts, he head tilted to the side.

"Connie and I went to school together. Same school you and the twins go to."

"Oh, that's cool!"

Taking their classes and having the time of their lives, summer goes by quickly. Tess Tyler, their bully, has been beyond annoying but Dani knows Santana will have a field day with her.

"Hey." Looking up from her breakfast, Dani jumps seeing Santana. Choking on her cereal, Dani calms down before hugging her.

"You're two weeks early!" Dani smiles.

"Yeah, we won the competition. Sue will be happy." Santana rolls her eyes as Brittney and Quinn come in joining her. Finn, Caitlyn and Rachel are sitting across from Dani with Mitchie and Taylor on the bench next to her.

"That's great! Have a seat." Joining the returning camper, Santana has the same breakfast a Dani, just a little nervous from all of the looks she is getting, "Ignore Tess. She has been bullying Mitchie and I since last year when Mitchie and I have become Brown's favourites."

"I thought Rachel would have been." Quinn comments.

"No, I'm Nate's favourite." Rachel smiles.

"Nate, as in Nate Gray?" Brittney asks shocked.

"I heard my name! Who said it!" Nate calls from the other side of the lunch cabin.

"Over here Radar." Dani raises her hand laughing.

"Yeah, go Dani!"

"I want to dye my hair orange."

"Why orange?"

"Because my blonde hair is boring."

"Why not green?"

"Or rainbow!" Jason comments.

"Or red." Shane throws in.

"Nah, orange."

"CONNIE!" Shane shouts earning laughter from the cook, who has been listening.

"I'll get the orange hairdye." Connie laughs.

"YES!" Dani grins before singing the chorus to We Are The Champions with the Gray brothers.

"Is this a typical breakfast?" Santana whispers to Rachel who is laughing hysterically.

"Yes." Everyone nods at the three new campers. Santana smiles at her girlfriend. She has only seen her so calm when they are alone, with her siblings, with Will and now today at Camp Rock.

At the end of the chorus, Santana pulls Dani into a kiss earning wolf whistles from Nate, Shane and Jason, along with other guys and some girls like Lola, Peggy and Ella, who are Caitlyn's friends.

Taylor hugs Roar to her chest, laughing at her older sister who is blushing while kissing Santana back.

Breaking the kiss, Dani hides her face in Santana's neck as the older girl hugs her.

While the breakfast goes back to normal, Tess comes up behind Dani, pouring her cereal on her.

"Morning Tess." Dani greets sarcastically, pulling away from Santana to keep her clean.

"Why you son of a Satan." Santana growls swinging her fist at Tess but Dani stops her.

"Tess isn't worth it. She's just a jerk." Watching her girlfriend leave, Santana glares at Tess before following Dani.

Arriving to Dani's cabin, Santana walks in hearing Dani in the shower. Seeing the bunks, Santana sits down on Dani's seeing Dani's familiar backpack.

"Hey." Dani greets coming out, surprised to see Santana.

"Hey, you okay?" Santana questions standing up.

"Yeah, why?" Santana pulls Dani to her, playing with Dani's wet hair.

"If you aren't I want to know. I can easily get her back."

"I know you can. But I don't want you to. Tess is just a jerk who can't see her mother all that often. Besides, as hot as you are when you are furious, it scares me."

"I don't mean to."

"I know you don't, but I will most likely always be scared of seeing that anger in anyone."

"How can I get back at her for this?"

"Beat her in classes. She loves being in first. That's how Mitchie and I get back at her."
