It's 2am and I cannot sleep. I can't believe I didn't realise when Penny said it.
"You should see how they look at each other at school, like they're about to tear each other apart, you can practically see the hate between them."
"They still are fighting?"
"Yeah! You don't have classes with them together but man, I do and let me tell you it is tense."
That can't be right…Todd said he was invited over for Lee's party, but if they hate each other so much why would Lee invite Todd?
Why would Todd lie to me?
Why does he not want me to go?
And then a thought struck me, hard.
What if Todd is planning to do something to Lee? Get his revenge. Is that why Todd doesn't want me to go? Because he doesn't want me to see what he is going to do?
It feels right, but I so badly want to be wrong.
