Jubi's mind raced as she headed towards her destination. This wasn't the first time she had seen Rancis like that. She remembered when Adora, Snowanna, and her went over to the to find a disheveled blonde crying on his couch, hugging what seemed to be a pumpkin.
~Flashback~
"I-I-I- don't know! I don't what to do anymore. It's like my existence doesn't have a meaning, like they took the life out of my code." He choked out between sobs. "I just- without him, I feel empty." he broke down again, clutching the pumpkin. While Adora and Snowanna comforted him, the red head looked around the messy room. Her eyes fell on a half eaten cupcake in a small box. There was a lot of sweets and food strewn about, but the cupcake stood out...
Jubileena snapped out of her flashback as she remembered Gloyd. She had always wanted to be a prankster, just like the brunette. He had let her tag along when he played his jokes on people, even let her do some of her own. He was always patient and calm with Jubi, that's how they had become so close. They ended up being pranking buddies and best friends.
That's why she knew she had to do this.

Jubi drove into Game Central Station searching for a certain shop. There were extra props, costumes, lives, and bonus rounds to be bought from stores, but her destination was secluded from everything else. She slowly walked into the Code Transfer Room.
Her hand shook as she turned the computer on. She stepped onto the floor mat and started typing in her game. At last, she saw all the Sugar Rush characters on the screen. Her heart sank when she saw that her friends once cool pose had been diminished to nothing but a transparent outline. She had tried transferring what was left of Taffyta, but to no avail. Jubi sighed. She knew what must be done. She selected her own picture and hit 'Code Transfer.' A single tear slid down her face as the racer dissolved to code.
A dizzy Gloyd appeared from the jumbled code. He was confused, wondering where his hat had gone, when he saw a piece of paper on the floor. It was a note that read:
I'm sorry for everything Taffyta has done. She should apologize herself, well, ask Rancis for more details. He has your hat, by the way. :)
I decoded myself so you two could be together. He's hurting. A lot. Now go see him, and never leave him. Don't make me regret doing this!

Rancis had cried for about 6 hours now, and usually he'd be asleep, but he wasn't. Becoming an insomniac already? he thought and rolled over. He checked the time. 3am. I'm never going to get any sleep. There was a knock at the door, making the blonde groan. If you ignore it, they'll go away. But after 10 minutes, the knocking was still there. Rancis rolled slowly out of bed. He lazily opened the door. "Whhhhattt?" He whined.
"I believe you have my hat?"
