Chapter 020
Kagome stifled back a yawn as she walked about Ouran's massive grounds. She had arrived early to school to turn in her make up assignments for Friday. She had managed to complete all of them but her math homework. After a brief scolding from her math teacher, she was wandering around, bored.
There weren't many clubs that had morning meetings or practices. And since she would be starting the internship under Jinenji, she decided to drop tennis. Shippo had already given his approval (and she still hated the fact that she needed it, stupid fox demon).
"Oi, Kago-chan!"
Startled to hear her name, Kagome turned around to see the short third year. He was waving wildly at her as he jogged up to her. His much taller cousin trailed behind him.
Fighting back a smile, she caved into her instincts and ruffled the blonde's hair affectionately when he was within distance. "Hey you guys."
"What brings you to school so early," Honey eagerly asked.
Stuffing her hands in her pants pockets, Kagome shrugged her shoulders attempting to play it cool once more. "Just got done with being yelled at by my math teacher."
"Are you still having trouble in math," Honey asked, looking up at her with wide eyes.
Kagome nodded her head.
"I can still help you, if you want," Mori offered. "Eh, you were serious about that."
Mori nodded his head, and Kagome rewarded him with a brilliant smile.
