Percy didn't know what to think as the strange person in front of them stared them down.
'Haven't I been through enough,' He groaned internally.
'Nope!' Tamamo chirped happily.
'Damnit,' He thought sadly.
"Sasuke what does he mean you found the target," Annabeth asked not taking her eyes off the dangerous man in front of them.
"Long story," Sasuke grunted before stepping in front of them. Damnit he thought he would have more time. He could get Naruto to hide and he could claim that the kitsune had gotten away. It wouldn't be too hard to believe with his injuries that he had been bested in combat. Sure it'd be his first failure of a mission but he could live with that. But that wasn't an option anymore. Taka was here and he wouldn't hesitate like he had. So he did the only thing he could think of.
"This isn't the target," Sasuke said.
He lied.
"Are you saying this kitsune isn't the one we are meant to go after," Taka asked. Everyone's eyes widened. Especially Naruto's.
'That was why he attacked me earlier,' Naruto thought. He had been given a quest to kill him. But Sasuke was covering for him now.
Sasuke knew this would be considered treason if found out but…damn that cyclops for preaching that line!
'Guess I'm trash then,'
I am Taka," Sasuke answered.
Percy's blood ran cold at the name.
Taka.
Hawk.
'As well as the hawk that has come to hunt it,'
Just like the oracle had said.
But wait…
Percy smiled. This was good!
Naruto wasn't the fox with the ominous tricks. It had been that black one from earlier.
But then he thought about Tamamo.
'It's ok,' She said with a soft a soft smile reading the boys thoughts. 'Not like they'll catch him,' She answered.
That was all the permission he needed.
"He's right," Percy spoke up.
Sasuke and Taka looked over at Percy. One in shock and the other with no readable emotion.
"Earlier there was this small black fox that had offered me power but I didn't accept it," He explained. "Something seemed off about it," He explained.
Taka didn't say anything. He just continued gazing at Percy and the others. The tension in the air was palpable.
"Well you won't mind if I confirm then,"
Percy was confident.
"Go ahead,"
From the corner of the eye he could see Sasuke giving him a look that said 'Shut the fuck up,' but he didn't care. He remembered seeing that damn fox. Naruto wasn't the one from the prophecy.
Taka gave him a nod and sheathed his blade. Then he was gone in a blur. Percy and the others looked around in shock as they looked for him.
Suddenly Naruto felt a prick on his cheek. He looked down and saw a small black knife with a red liquid on it. It was his blood. He had been cut. He followed the blade to an arm and which lead to Taka's face.
Taka withdrew the blade and let the blood drip on an orb in his hand.
Nothing happened at first. But then the orb began to glow brightly.
Sasuke let out a breath he hadn't realized he had been holding.
The sign for their target would have been if it began blinking rapidly.
So Naruto wasn't the target after all. Which means that the one he had earlier was a dud since it blinked rapidly.
"I see," Taka said. "It seems you are not the target," He continued and the tension seemed to dissipate with that statement. "Then we'll-" He began but stopped however when the orbs glow got brighter. The light had become blinding in fact and everyone was forced to look away.
When it finally died down the others looked at the orb. Then it turned to dust in his hand.
The others looked in shock.
"Um is that supposed to happen," Grover asked. Sasuke shook his head and narrowed his eyes.
What the hell was that.
Taka looked at the dust in his hand before looking up at Naruto.
"I see," He began. "You are indeed not the target for my mission,"
Naruto looked at Taka. He felt the hairs on his tail bristle and he crouched slightly. That statement should have given him relief.
So why was the tension in the air even higher than earlier.
"However," Taka continued and there was a tone in his voice. Percy didn't like that tone. He gripped riptide and crouched.
"You are a target," Taka continued.
Sakura was reaching for a tag, Annabeth held her knife in a reverse grip, Grover had his flute to his lips.
"For my true masters,"
Then he moved.

The scene changes to a Grover picking up a puppy and putting in his lap and petting it with a smile on his face.

The scene changes to Percy looking out at an ocean with a contemplative look. It's soon replaced with one of surprise when Tamamo wraps her hands around him from the back and looks down at him with a cheeky smile. She says something that causes him to turn red while she laughs.

It shifts to Naruto and Sasuke walking past each other. The two accidently bump into one another and begin glaring. They begin arguing before they eventually turn into a dust cloud of flying limbs.

It now shows Hinata walking up a flight of stairs. She turns around to show her pure white pupils. It then shows Clarisse polishing her spear scowling at the camera next to Luke with an easy smile on his face. Between them is a pile of scrap metal. Beckendorfs head pops out in curiosity.

The scene shifts to a big baby blue house. The camera zooms in to Mr. D changing a wine glass into diet coke Chiron wheels his way toward the other side of the table. The camera closes in on his face as he gains a far off look.

It shows Hades as his thrown as he holds out his palm out to reveal Sally in stasis. It zooms in on Sally as she slowly opens her eyes.

The scene shifts back to Hinata in a misty field with the moon behind her for a brief second two shisa's are seen standing behind her but they disappear just as quickly

The scene shows Grover with flying shoes on avoiding attacks from a one of the furies before spinning around and smacking another one with a bat.

Annabeth charges at medusa from behind to catch her by surprise. It closes in on Medusa's head before it turns around. Her snake hair hisses as it lunges at the daughter of Athena.

Sakura roars and smashes her fist into the ground causing a massive earthquake. Naruto looks on fearfully at the display.

It shows Sasuke as he powers up and flames gather around him before he slams his hands down creating a shockwave of fire that burns everything in sight.

Naruto and Percy charge forward as they begin fighting Taka.

Percy and Naruto begin attacking Taka but he manages to block deflect or dodge most of their attacks. He grabs the both of them and spins them away but they catch themselves and land on their feet.

Naruto and Percy charge forward once again as they shout defiantly.

Taka spins his ninjato one time and a dark aura emits from him as it begins shaking the ground and everything else. He makes a striking stance awaiting the two boys to come closer.

Percy stabs forward with Riptide while Naruto punches with his fist colliding with Taka's ninjato in a bright flash.

A gold coin is spinning, on one side a trident the other a fox curled up.
ENIGMA
He lunged for Naruto but he was thrown off course by Percy who rammed into him causing him to stumble.
Naruto being thrown out of his stupor activated his gauntlets and began firing off his spikes. Seeing the incoming projectiles Taka pulled out his ninjato and deflected the attacks easily enough. Percy went in to slash Taka but the masked attacker deflected every blow easily. He redirected one of Percy's attack forcing him off balance and kicked him back. He almost missed Sakura.
The pink haired pre-teen leapt over Percy as he was sent flying and threw a tag forward but Taka cut the piece of paper in half easily enough. He sped forward and grabbed Sakura by the hair and threw her straight at Naruto who had begun charging forcing him to catch the girl. This however left him open as Taka lunged forward and hit the blond with a powerful backhand sending him backwards.
'Shit that hurt,' Naruto growled as his back hit the dirt with Sakura on top of him.
Grover began playing his reed pipes and vines grew from underneath the sand to wrap around Taka's legs. Annabeth too that chance to rush the man and attempt to knock him out but Taka reached into his pouch and threw something straight at her forcing her to dodge. That was all he needed as he cut through the vines binding his legs and kecked Annabeth straight in the stomacj knocking the breath out of her. The blonde demigod crumpled to the ground struggling to breath and Taka angled his weapon and got ready to stab down but was forced back when a giant fireball flew at him and above Annabeth.
"What are you doing?!" Sasuke demanded. "They're not the enemy or the target," He seethed as he eyed his superior.
"Quite brat," Taka responded and something in his voice made Sasuke pause.
There was emotion.
"You're not Taka," Sasuke stated. Percy looked over at the raven haired teen and then back to their opponent. This wasn't the hawk he had to worry about. So then who was?!
"No I am," Taka responded.
Well which was it?!
Damnit he hated prophecies!
"But I stopped answering to the council a long time ago," Taka responded. "I answer to someone else," He continued before ripping a sleeve off and revealing a strange mark on his shoulder. It was a musical note with a snake wrapped around it. Sakura gasped lightly as she looked at it while Sasuke narrowed his eyes menacingly.
"The snake!" He snarled.
"You would be correct," Taka added as if they had won a prize. Annabeth listened to everything they said intently. As far as she knew the only snake related legend was Medusa's and they had killed her recently. But the way Sasuke said the name…So hatefully…
There was something off about all of this.
"Oh yes and you see that boy over there is something he's interested in," Taka continued pointing over at Naruto. "Along with you as well," He finished as he looked over at Sasuke. "Originally I was just going to contact HQ for an extraction and take you there while we stayed in Vegas," He added. "But then you left and lead me to him," There was a sinister glee in his voice that made everyone unsettled. "So now I get two for the price of one," He finished. "now I just have to kill everyone else here and we can get out of here,"
"Like hell you are," Naruto growled as he stood back up. Percy twirled riptide in his hand one time and touched his pocked to make sure the minotaur horn was still there. It was. Hopefully it would turn into a knife again if he needed it.
Around them the others all looked ready to go again.
"Oh that's cute your all going to fight me," Taka mocked. He scanned over the pre-teens one by one and stopped on Percy. "I might take you as well," He added. "There's something about you…something powerful," He finished. "My master always loves a good side project," Hearing that made Percy grip riptide even tighter. Taka eyed them all. "Alright since we're doing this," He spoke up. He held out an arm and made a gesture. "Come at me,"
They did.
Naruto being the closest went in first. He sent a jumping round-house kick to the man's face but Taka blocked it easily. Not being deterred he spun once again to send another kick but Taka caught the offending attack. Naruto wrapped himself around the arm and sent a fist forward hoping to hit the masked man from up close but he dodged every punch easily enough. Percy took that as an opportunity to attack from the other side but he was blocked by the Ninjato Taka held with him. He attempted to over-power him but found himself loosing that battle. It didn't help that he was still dodging Naruto's point blank punches.
Sakura thinking, she had a chance send three tags forward but Taka was ready. He bent down as the tags passed over him. He watched them go by noticing the pattern and recognition came across his face.
"Oh a gravity seal," Taka complimented. "That's really advances stuff you must be pretty smart," Taka said as he countered Percy's strike and twisting his arm in the process. Percy let out a small shout of pain but Annabeth was there a moment later but she too was rendered helpless. "That is if you had made them," Taka finished as he slung Naruto around making him hit Percy and Annabeth knocking them back.
That's when Sasuke came down like a fiery avenging angel and attempted to lay waste to Taka in one fell swoop but was forced to cut the flames early when Taka held Naruto up who was still holding his arm above him like a shield. This forced shortage in power allowed Taka to drop his arm and swing it back up hitting Sasuke. Realizing he was only doing damage to his friends Naruto released Taka and attempted to leap back but Taka grabbed his leg and slammed him into the ground.
Taka attempted to stomp the boys head into the sand but Naruto found himself being pulled away by vines Grover had grown using his flute.
Sasuke took that chance to engage the rogue mid to close using his fireballs as a way to attack with every fist but Taka was able to dodge the attacks. Sasuke however didn't stop.
Naruto quickly recovered and went in for another frontal assault and Percy was by his side. Last time they attacked one at a time. This time together. Taka kicked Sasuke away and saw the two other teens comeback for another round. Percy went in first as he sent a flurry of strikes that were deflected. Suddenly he ducked as Naruto came in high sending a fist forward. Taka deflected the fist but Naruto used the momentum to continue the air assault as he sent a barrage of punches and kicks at his opponent. Taka was somewhat hard pressed as he soon realized that Percy hadn't ducked for no reason. He was attempting to cut at his legs forcing him to block from above and dodge from below.
Seeing an opportunity as Naruto was losing momentum Taka grabbed the blond fox and attempted to slam him down into his friend but Annabeth and Sakura were there to help. Annabeth pulled Percy back as before Naruto collided with him and Sakura attempted a spear kick at the Taka's face but he dodged easily. But in doing so he released Naruto allowing the boy to spin around as he hit the sand and twirl his legs up in an attempt to hit the faceless man. Taka managed to block Naruto's heel as it nearly came into contact with his face.
"Move!"
Sakura and Naruto quickly rolled out of the way as a fireball flew by them and straight at Taka who leapt backward and high into the air to dodge the attack.
Taka quickly recovered and eyed the six of them.
"Ok," Taka said cracking his neck. "Time for offence,"
Then he charged.
He kneed Naruto in the stomach before spinning delivering a devastating kick to his side. Percy attempted to defend his friend but Taka deflected the bladed and lunged forward stabbing Percy through the shoulder.
"Aaahhh!" The sea spawn shouted in pain. He hadn't felt Ares's stab but he felt this one. And it hurt like HELL! Ares had pieced his chest and then burned a giant hole in it. If this was what a small one felt like he didn't want to know what the big one had felt like.
Taka took the blade out and went in for another stab this but Annabeth popped in front of Percy and deflected the blade but her cheek was cut in the process. She quickly pushed backward forcing her and Percy to move backward before stumbling over.
Sakura realizing, they were in trouble through a tag.
"Cover your eyes!" She commanded.
Annabeth managed to cover hers and Percy's were still glued shut from the pain of the stab wound. Taka however was unprepared as the tag created a flash blinding him momentarily. Sakura charged forward and aimed her fist for the solar plexus but Taka caught the hand.
"Gotcha," Taka teased revealing that the flash hadn't affected him. "The mask helps stop those kind of things," He explained. Sakura acted quickly and attempted to trip him but he lifted his leg before slamming down on hers. She held back the scream as pain coursed through her leg and punched the arm holding her loosening the grip allowing her to back up. Unfortunately, it wasn't fast enough as Taka lifted his leg. His foot made contact with her chin lifting her into the air. He quickly followed and drop kicked her to the ground.
Sasuke threw fire balls at him to cover for the others so they could move away but Taka put an end to it soon as he sped forward dodging the attacks rather easily. He sent a barrage of punches to Sasuke's stomach that the Uchiha didn't take too well.
The raven haired kid plummeted to the sand only to be caught by Naruto before he hit the ground. The two got up slowly and were soon joined by the others.
"He's kicking our asses," Percy huffed out.
"Oh really," Naruto drawled. "I didn't notice,"
"Hey this is the second time I've been stabbed today within an hour," Percy snapped. "Keep your sarcasm to yourself,"
"Well I just barely avoided being crushed to death thanks to him within the hour so suck it," Naruto retorted as he pointed to Sasuke.
"Yeah well I had a gaping hole in my chest from a being stabbed and then lit on fire from the inside out so suck it," Percy bit back. "Speaking of did you know your hands were on fire," He mentioned to Sasuke.
"Hn,"
"Fair enough," Percy responded.
"Let's try swarming him," Annabeth suggested ignoring the idiotic conversation. "He can't take all five of us,"
"Are you sure?" Sakura asked.
"No," Annabeth admitted. "But so far we haven't been able to do anything, so it's worth a try,"
"Well I did get this,"
The others turned to look over at Naruto who was holding the curved blade with a ring handle. "Grabbed it when I was holding on to him," He explained. "Anyone know how to use it?"
"I do," Sakura answered. Naruto tossed it to her and she held it. She spun it in her hand one time before taking a stance as Taka approached them slowly.
"Now that's stealing," He commented lazily.
"Shut up," Naruto growled. "Grover can you still do the flute thing,"
"Y-yeah," Grover answered nervously.
"Good keep trying to constrict his movements," Percy said realizing what Naruto had in mind. "in the meant time we'll just keep attacking him until he's overwhelmed,"
"If we can get him that way," Annabeth muttered.
"Then make a strategy," Naruto drawled.
"So are you gonna give up quietly," Taka asked. "Or is this round 2,"
Naruto bumped his fist together, Sasuke's flames grew hotter, Percy held his twirled his sword, Annabeth positioned her dagger in front of her, Grover brought his reed pipe to his lips and Sakura crossed her arms in an X across her chest. In one hand she held the strange blade and in the other were three tags.
"Round 2 it is,"
Then the give of them charged while Grover began to play the pipes rapidly. The vines grew and wrapped around his legs forcing him in place. The others attacked.
It was a slaughter.
They attacked from all sides but even without his legs he was taking them out as they attacked. He gut-punched Naruto before throwing him at Annabeth. He deflected Percy and Sakura's attacks as they tried to cut him down and bent back dodging the fireball Sasuke sent.
But they didn't relent. They would recover quickly and run right back at him to attack once again even if it was with the same result.
Taka sent three kunai straight at Percy but Sakura got in front of him deflecting the projectiles before rushing forward to attack the pinned man once again. Sakura sent a flurry of strikes with the weapon but Taka deflected them al easily. He thrusted his fist forward knocking her back but Naruto caught her. Annabeth ran passed them and began stabbing at the man but he deflected the strikes easily.
Percy came in from the other side to hit him with the flat of the sword to knock him out but he bent his head back letting the bronze fly over his head before catapulting his body forward to head but Annabeth and grabbing Percy and throwing him into the air.
"Sasuke," Percy shouted as he let go of his sword as Sasuke passed him grabbing the blade and attempting his own strikes. Deciding to do more Grover began playing a new theme on the reed pipes and slowly the vines moved up Taka's body to constrict him even more.
"I don't think so~" Taka sang as he cut the vines at the base and shook the remains off.
With his feet now available to him the man began moving around. This only made it worse for them.
Naruto and Percy ran from either side and began trying a back to back hit and run tactic. Naruto would throw a punch that was blocked but he would keep running with Percy right behind him attempting the cut the man only to be blocked but he would quickly move away while naruto went in for another strike before switching with Percy attacking him from multiple sides.
Sasuke and Sakura seemed to have caught on to what the two friends were doing and quickly joined in hopes of throwing him off. The four of them attacked from all sides but they would be easily blocked, dodged or in some cases thrown by Taka not even touching him. That's when Annabeth came in from behind in an attempt to stab the man from above. She plunged the knife down but she was caught on handed and thrown over head landing on her back in the sand.
The others charged from all sides while Grover sent another pair of vines around Taka's legs to keep him from jumping away. Percy stabbed forward but Taka parried the blow and pulled him forward. He grabbed Percy by the shirt and spun him around both ways hitting the others away. He then threw Percy forward.
Naruto groaned as he looked over at Sasuke who had landed next to him. Sakura was closer to Grover struggling to slowly get up while Annabeth was sitting but refused to attack unless she had back up.
'This can't go on,' Percy thought as he rose up slowly. Blood was flowing down his arm from where he had been stabbed. He couldn't feel the pain anymore so good news his adrenaline was back. He looked over at the ocean and once again tried to summon a wave of water but nothing happened. 'Why isn't it working?'
'Because you're in a field,'
"Oh already giving me pet names,' Tama teased. 'Oh Percy I can't wait to hear you scream that in the future when you ravage me,' She said in a sultry voice.
'No time for that!' Percy shouted. His cheeks would normally turn pink but the current life or death situation was keeping it down. 'What did you mean earlier,'
'I mean he set up a field before he attacked,' Tama explained. 'In this field your movement are moving at an incredibly fast rate,' She continued.
'Meaning,'
'Well depending on how much power was put into the field beforehand time varies,'
'So how much does this one have,'
'If I were to guess one hour in here is one second out there,'
Oh that wasn't good. It hadn't been that long since he created the field so gods know only how much more time was left.
'But why is that effecting my powers,' Percy asked.
'There's a lot of semantics to this and I'm guessing you don't have a lot of time to really ask said question,'
She had a point.
'But here's a tip,' Tama chirped. 'Think small,'
'Small?' Percy blinked.
'Yep like your friend Grover,'
Percy looked over Grover who was playing on his reed piped to summon more vines to restrict his legs. Percy wondered why he didn't use them to make bigger vines to restrict the whole body.
Then it clicked.
Naruto ran forward and sent a leaping kick to Taka's head only to be blocked. Not being deterred he kicked off flipping behind him allowing Sasuke to use the small cover to attack from the front while he attacked from the back. But Taka back kicked Naruto in the face sending him backwards so he could fully focus on Sasuke. Naruto not wanting to leave his ally recovered quickly and ran forward once again he gto ready to try and headlock him but was stopped by a command.
"DUCK!"
Naruto obeyed and slid on the sand. Just in time to see a spinning black disk fly over him.
"What the hell!" Naruto shouted as he watched the disk fly cover at Taka. Taka looked back to see the disk and kicked Sasuke before ducking down making the disk fly over him. Naruto followed the trajectory of the disk and watched it land a few inches away from Percy. "What the hell was that?!"
"The thing you handed me," Sakura answered as she kneeled next to Naruto. Naruto looked over at her in shock.
"You threw it!?"
"That's what it's original purpose was," Sakura answered blandly.
"Ok then," Naruto muttered.
Percy looked down at the weapon in front of him nearly breaking his focus.
'What the hell is that?' He thought as he looked at the object. 'It looks like a giant shuriken,'
'Is this really time to wonder about it,' Tama asked.
'Point taken,' Percy responded. He continued his previous objective. 'I think this'll be enough for now,' He muttered.
"Sasuke try to attack him," Percy ordered. Sasuke looked over at him in shock. "Don't worry I'll cover you just trust me," Sasuke looked at him briefly before nodding. Sasuke ran forward to attack the masked man once again. "Hope this works," Percy muttered.
Sasuke began attacking head on and like before Taka would block or deflect the onyx eyed boy's hits. Sasuke went for a jab but Taka went to block it. Imagine his surprise when some invisible force pushed against his shoulder stopping his block. This in turn allowed Sasuke's fist to actually make full contact with his face causing the masked fighter to stumble.
Sasuke along with everyone else looked shocked at the sudden turn. But the raven faired pyro recovered quickly and went on for another attack. However, Taka recovered just as quickly and ducked under the attack. He saw a figure oving from his right and looked to see Naruto attempting to drop kick him in the stomach. He reached out to catch the offending leg. Only to once again feel the same invisible force as last time push against his arm throwing his block off course. Naruto's heel made full contact with his sternum. Knocking him into the sand.
He was down.
Sakura and Annabeth rushed forward while Grover began playing with renewed vigor to completely restrain him but Taka recovered and back flipped away gaining some distance. He eyed them all warily. That invisible force was defiantly aimed at him. It wasn't precise, that much he could tell. He looked at his elbow and shoulder where he had been hit and noticed that they were both wet.
"So it's water," He muttered. He eyed all six of them as they stood next to each other. They seemed to be attempting to catch their breath so they could fight on once again.
He looked over at he analyzed each one carefully, The fox and the blonde girl had been strictly close range, if they had any tricks they would have used them earlier on. The pink haired one, mid to close using those tags of hers, Sasuke was using fire so he was out. The boy with the pipes was using some kind of earth technique with sound. He would suggest something similar for his master to try. That only left…
He eyed the kid with the bronze sword. He was kneeling and from here he could see that the boy seemd to be concentrating.
'Seems he can only effect so much while in the field,' Taka observed. That was good. He would be worried if he could use his full power. What, with an ocean behind him and all.
'These kids have potential,' Taka thought. 'It's almost a shame I have to kill half of them,'
"We can't keep this up," Sasuke muttered. "My flames will only last so much longer,"
"And I'm down to two more gravity tags," Sakura added. "But I doubt they'll stick,"
She had one other thing up her sleeve but to use that was…
"And from the way he's eyeing me I think he's realized I'm the one that shot him," Percy huffed out.
"So is this the end?" Grover asked. The others looked at each other and the dread in the air could be cut with a knife.
"FUCK THAT!"
The others looked over at Naruto and Percy as they had spoken simultaneously. The two got up and stood next to each other.
"I refuse to let it all end here," Naruto growled. "I will not let this arrogant hawk kill me or anyone else here," He continued. Naruto's tail bristled and a thin layer of aura could be seen radiating off of him and only growing. His features were becoming more feral as it went on.
"Damn straight," Percy agreed. "We've come too far to let it end here," He twirled his sword in his hand one time. "This only ends with him on the ground," Grover's ears perked up and turned around and what he saw shocked him. The field was still active. But the ocean was moving around angrily. It was still slow but Grover could see it.
Naruto and Percy turned to look at each other and the two made eye contact. And in that moment no words needed to be said. They were going to win.
"Sometimes you can say smart things dobe," Sasuke muttered as he stood on the other side of Naruto. He was holding the giant shuriken in its collapsed form.
"Good speech seaweed brain," Annabeth muttered standing on Percy's left. "I think I can make a plan," She held her dagger in a reverse grip.
"I'll be sure to fix you guys up when this is all said and done," Sakura muttered as he held her two tags walking next to Sasuke.
"I still think running away is the best option," Grover complained trotting over to stand by Annabeth. "But I'd hate myself if I abandoned my friends,"
Deep down Naruto felt something stir. He didn't know what it was but he knew that it wanted to be let out.
'You did this earlier than I expected,' The fox in his head grumbled. He had no idea what he was talking about but he would ask questions later.
Percy looked over at Sasuke as he opened the shuriken.
Maybe…
"Hey guys I think I got a plan," Percy muttered. The others turned to look at him as he began to convey his idea.
"That's crazy," Annabeth said. "And what if he dodges,"
"I'll take care of that," Sakura and Grover said at the same time. The two eyed each other and seemed to be having some sort of silent conversation before nodding to each other. "We'll take care of that," The responded.
"I still say it's insane," Annabeth muttered.
"As compared to most of the stuff we've done during this quest," Naruto remarked.
"Fair enough," Annabeth admitted.
"Alright," Naruto said pounding his fist into his hand. "Let's do it,"
Then he Annabeth and Sakura ran forward.
Percy closed his eyes and began focusing.
'Think small,' He repeated. 'Tama I know we're not in a contract but think you can help me out,' His response was the sudden burst in energy he was feeling.
'Kick his ass!' She cheered.
Sasuke looked began diverting all of his remaining energy into his hands. Slowly the Shuriken began to heat up as he focused most of the energy into it.
Naruto threw a fist forward. Taka lazily blocked it. Sakura acted quickly and leapt over Naruto to attack from above but Taka pushed the blond fox back allowing him to dodge Sakura's aerial assault. He almost missed Annabeth lunging forward in a spin to cut him with her knife.
Almost.
He caught Sakura and held her as he deflected Annabeth's knife. Only to receive a cut across the chest. He just barely dodged it allowing the second attack to cut through his shirt. He looked down to see a black knife in Annabeth's other hand.
Percy's minotaur horn.
She swung her arms around to attack the grey haired fighter forcing him to release Sakura and dodge the attempted onslaught. He pulled out his ninjato to cut the girl down but Naruto was there to block the strike with his gauntlets. He aimed the other one at Taka's head firing all three at once. Taka bent his head back just in time as the three spikes flew past his head.
Sakura took that opportunity to attempt adding a tag but she was stopped by Taka as she grabbed her hand and swung her around hitting both Naruto and Annabeth before slinging her backwards.
Sakura landed in a crouch and got ready to charge when she saw something that caught her eye. She grinned.
Naruto attempted a leg sweep but Taka dodged easily but Naruto kept the momentum and began doing a spinning hand stand in an attempt the hit Taka but the masked man was not phased. He grabbed Naruto's legs and lifted him up before slamming him back down on the ground face first.
Naruto rolled back and came face to face with Taka's foot punting him backwards.
"Are you guys ready yet," Naruto growled as he got ready to charge back in.
Percy felt the last of the water enter and made the shape he wanted.
"Yes," The son of Poseidon answered with a large grin.
"Hn," Sasuke responded.
In Percy's hand was a giant shuriken the same shape as Sasuke's made completely out of water. It pulsated lightly and you could see the water move around.
In Sasuke's hand the shuriken had been heated up to a high degree and was basically in a state where it was just solid enough but the flames surrounding it burned strong. It wasn't hot enough to warp or melt it thankfully.
"Good," Naruto responded with a feral grin. "Grover!"
Grover responded by playing on his pipes as hard and as loud as he could.
Annabeth had just been backhanded away by Taka when the vines began going up his legs once again. They held on tighter then they had before but he didn't pay it any mind. He went to them off but stopped when he felt somebody wrap their arms around his torso from the back.
He turned to see it was Sakura and she looked up at him with a nasty glare.
"That all you got," He taunted.
"No," Sakura answered before moving her hand in a sign. Then she gave a cocky grin. "This is," Then she activated the gravity seals she had placed on herself," Taka couldn't react in time as the gravity got heavier. Slowly he was forced down on one knee.
Damnit he couldn't move!
He felt a pat on his back then another and then another. He turned to see Annabeth had placed something on his back. He saw Sakura grab one of the seals on her arm and place it on him.
How was she moving?!
Annabeth ripped the last on the pink haired girl off before destroying it. The other four were securely on Taka's back all active and he couldn't move at all.
They had him restrained.
"Not done yet you son of a bitch!"
Taka struggled to look up in time to see Percy and Sasuke in a throwing position mirroring each other.
"AAAAAHHHHHH!" The two black haired boys roared as they swung their blades straight towards Taka as they curbed at him from opposite sides. One of flame and one of water.
Taka watched the scenario play out in his head.
He almost wanted to laugh at how good the plan they made was. Too bad it wasn't good enough.
He roared as he began flaring his energy. Sakura and Annabeth looked in shock as the Tags began to be forcibly peeled off before they blew off completely from the energy he released knocking the two of them back.
Taka leapt backwards just in time as the two blades collided with each other instead of himself creating a small explosion and releasing a large amount of steam into the air.
'Time to end this I suppose,' Taka said. Shame too. He was starting to have fun. But he had orders to feel and best not delay.
"Not yet!"
Taka looked up as Naruto and Percy charge through the steam. Naruto had a cocked fist while Percy was holding some kind of bronze cylinder in his hand.
Oh so they still had some spunk in them. That was fine with him.
He made to block the oncoming attacks.
Annabeth looked at the item in Percy's hand in utter shock. "PERCY NO!"
Percy knew in that moment that more than likely he was going to die. He was using his uncles symbol of power.
"high-grade celestial bronze, capped on both ends with god-level explosives"
They would all be blown away and most likely die.
That is if Taka had been on the ground like he was. And he didn't have a little help.
'YOUR CRAZY PERCY!' Tama shouted in his head. 'AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!' She cheered.
Percy felt the master bolt radiate its power in his hand. With a roar and swung one time as an arc of lighting trailed his movement. Then with all his might he released he energy upward. And Percy released a bolt of lightning upward. It completely missed Taka as he had planned. But a small tendril hit the masked man blowing him back much to his surprise. The others watched as the bolt sailed through the air. Then it went off.
The sky lit up with tendrils of lightning and a deafening crack could be heard.
Naruto looked at the masked man with feral rage. He needed to take him out now. That feeling he had earlier was stirring once again. Something was begging to get out. But he couldn't release it!
'You need a power boost!' The fox shouted.
In came Percy Jackson.
Percy grabbed Naruto's arm and spun him. The lingering energy from using the master bolt coursed through Percy's body and into Naruto's. He felt the spike. And he felt the release.
"GO!" Percy shouted as he released Naruto launching him straight at Taka. He felt the energy mix with the lightning from the master bolt.
'That's it!' The fox roared. 'Now release it!'
He did.
And in that moment everyone else looked on in shock at what they saw.
Naruto had grown another tail.
"RRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Taka looked up just in time to see a lighting comet barrel towards him. Naruto's lightning covered fist continued its travel as it made contact with the mask before shattering it and then making contact with Taka's actual face. The grey haired man was sent flying backwards a, ways away before landing in the sand.
Naruto huffed out a breath as the others ran up to him. He lightning receded slowly but he could still feel it course through his body,
"Guys," Annabeth began.
"Not now!" Percy shouted as he held his sword in front of him. He had put the master bold at his feet. He really didn't want to have to use it again. Naruto and Sasuke got into their fighting stances. Sasuke's flames having dies out leaving him weaponless. Sakura was out of tags so she too held her hands up getting ready to go hand to hand before Annabeth tossed her a knife. Annabeth held her own blade up while Grover began playing rapidly to restrain Taka while he was down.
But he was too late.
"Oh you guys are good," He complimented. "Not nearly good enough to beat me but my master always liked people with potential or talent. He wiped the remains off his face and they got a good look at it. His grey hair was in a ponytail and he reached into his pocket as he pulled something out.
Glasses.
"Now then," Taka said as he put the glasses on. "It's about time I end this and take you all with me,"
The six fighters tensed up ready to leap into action despite their clear exhaustion. None of them knew how much longer they could last.
Thankfully they wouldn't have to find out.
A foot stomped on the ground and the sand moved creating a small lump that moved forward before there was a line between Taka and the kids.
"Not today,"
Sakura recognized that voice.
They all turned as one to see a woman glaring at Taka with a menacing look. She was dressed like she had been in surgery from the scrubs she was wearing. She had straight, shoulder-length blonde hair that was tied in two loose ponytails in the back. On her forehead was a small violet diamond. And in all the boy's opinion she had the biggest set of…assets… they had ever seen.
'Mine are bigger!' Tama shouted in Percy's head. He swore he could hear her pouting. Was she jealous?!
"Or would you like to change dance partners and go against me," The woman asked. "Kabuto,"
The now named Kabuto eyed the woman with a poker face but she could see the wariness in his eyes.
"No thanks," Kabuto responded with a shrug. "I'm not suicidal," He pulled out an orb and tossed it in the air lazily.
"You guys all have a lot of potential," He said looking over at the six preteens. "Be sure to get stronger for me," He said. "My master will be interested to hear what I have to say about all of you," He stopped tossing the ball and held his hand up. "Be sure to get stronger before I see you guys again," Then he tossed the orb on the ground, creating a smoke cloud. "That way I can really let loose," He disembodied voice said.
"Well he's gone," The blonde woman muttered.
And as one the kids collapsed at the revelation that the fighting was done.
"Finally!" Percy groaned as he grabbed the master bolt and put it back in the backpack.
"Percy are you insane!" Annabeth shouted. "That could have killed you and Naruto,"
"But it didn't," Naruto retorted as he laid in the sand.
"Doesn't change the fact that that was insane," Annabeth huffed as she began to lie down as well.
"Not arguing that wise girl," Percy huffed out. "Is everybody alive?"
"No," Sakura groaned out.
"Not really," Grover added.
"Hn,"
"Why are you tired," Naruto asked. "You barely did anything!"
"Hey summoning vines in this weird time slow bubble or whatever the hell it is takes way more concentration then it really should," Grover defended. "So back off,"
"So what's with the new tail," Sasuke asked looking over at Naruto.
"What the hell are you talking about," Naruto asked.
"We can get to that later,"
The kids turned to see The blonde woman standing over them with a stern face.
"Tsunade-sensei," Sakura greeted as she tried to get up. Only to flop back down.
"Save your strength," Tsunade ordered. "I'll patch you guys up," She said as she grabbed Percy first. "In the meantime," She held the boy up at her eye level. "I want a full explanation on what happened here,"

OH this was a fun chapter too right! Seriously this is probably the longest fight I've ever written in ALL of my stories. Looks like we have a good idea on our main villain for Naruto's universe…or do we bum bum bbbbuuuuuummmm. I hope you enjoyed the new version of the opening as well.
And Naruto has grown a second tail! Plus, Percy using the master bolt in such a way. Thankfully Tama was there or else he would have killed them all. And let's not forget the official introduction of Tsunade. Oh the possibilities! But sadly all good things must come to an end. I know I've just started writing this story again but I was always close to the ending anyway. So I'll finish it up and I'm gonna do things differently for the Sea of Monsters.
