Happy Mother's Day!

Dex said he would help me get the video back! I'm so glad to have an awesome friend like Dex. I own him big time.
I told Dex to meet up with me outside the girls dorms at exactly ten o'clock p.m. (curfew) dressed in all black. It's forbidden for boys to go into the girl's dorm and it's forbidden for the girls to go into the boy's dorm...but we're gonna do it anyway. If it means that I can protect Ashlynn, I'm willing to get in trouble.
As I walked over to the girl's dorm, Dex was already there hiding behind a tree. "What are you doing" I asked. Dex jumped a little when he saw me then replied. "I don't want to get caught so I'm hiding," he said with a voice crack. I rolled my eyes then pulled him out from behind the tree.
We walked along the girl's dorm and looked looked through the cluster of windows, hoping to see Duchess in one of them. As we looked a little longer, I saw a familiar face in a window on the third floor. It was Ashlynn. She was wearing her strawberry blonde hair in a high messy bun and a light blue night gown with pink shoes on it.
She looked so beautiful.
She was looking up into the sky and had a serious look on her face. What's up with her?
Ashlynn
Curfew already past, but I couldn't (more like I didn't want to) sleep. I was worried I might have another dream like the one I had last night. I decided to go look out the window for a while. Briar was already asleep but I didn't have to worry about waking her up.
I opened the window and breathed in all the fresh air. I stared out into the sky and took it all in. I had absolutely nothing on my mind. It felt great to just relax.
I came back to earth when I heard a loud thud on the ground below me. I looked down and saw two dark figures that looked like bodies trying to climb a tree. I couldn't make out who or what they were. I got scared and quickly closed the window and ran back into my bed. I leaping into my bed and pulled the blankets over my head. I closed my eyes shut but still remained awake.

"Hunter. Help!" Dex whisper yelled as he was dangling from a tree. We found Duchess's room. (second floor) I held my arms out and Dex dropped to the ground. Instead of catching him, I fell as he landed on top of me. We saw a few lights turn on. We quickly hid behind some bushes. "Did you hear something?" we heard a voice say. "Yeah. Sounded like something hit the ground." another voice said. "Should we go check it out?" a voice suggested. Dex and I panicked when we heard those words. "Nah. I bet it was just a squirrel or something. Let's just go back to bed," a voice said. All the lights went back out and we took a deep breath. We waited a few minutes before we put the plan back into action.
"Maybe you should climb first Hunter," Dex whispered. I nodded in agreement and began to climb the tree. In three seconds I was already at the top with Dex trailing behind me. I looked into the window of Duchess's dorm and saw her and her roommate Lizzie Hearts, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, sleeping in their beds.
I took the paper clip I had in my pocket and used it to open the lock to the window. I've seen Blondie Lockes do it before so I thought it would be easy, but it wasn't. It took me a good five minutes to open the window. Dex and I quietly stepped inside the room. Time to get that video.
