Lights, Camera, and Total Drama: Part Four

The Slaughter Begins

When it came to Duncan thinking about his beloved pet tarantula, he remembered Scruffy's sour expression on his face and how his colors matched Duncan's hair. Duncan had very fond memories of that spider and how it scared the crap out of his father when he brought it home from the pet store after his mother bought Scruffy for him when he was only eight years old. However, the last memory he had of his beloved pet was when he saw Scruffy's crushed corpse on the back of fellow Total Drama co-star, and Duncan's personal punching bag, Harold.

Though Duncan told the viewers that while he was saddened by the loss of his pet, he was relieved that he wouldn't have to sleep with a baseball bat every night in case Scruffy decided to bite him, but he knew that Scruffy never did that. He only said that so that the viewers would know that it was dangerous for people to have venomous pets roaming around the house.

But now as he looked up at the towering glowing humanoid spider creature standing before him, Duncan was at a loss for words as the creature before barely looked like his beloved pet.

"How, how in the…?" Duncan tried to say his question, but he just couldn't figure out what to say.

"The change," Scruffy replied in an affirmative manner.

"Y-yeah," Duncan said.

"I honestly don't remember much before I died or how I ended up like this. All I can remember was that I woke up in what looked like the firm lot but everything was different," Scruffy began to explain.

"Different," Duncan repeated Scruffy's last word. "Different how?" he asked.

"The sky was green with purple and black swirls, strange glowing orbs that floated around the sky, and everything on the ground had a faded look almost as if the colors of the world were sucked away," Scruffy explained to Duncan. "I guess that was what the Ghost Zone looks like, a reflection of the living world," he added.

"The Ghost Zone?" Duncan questioned.

"That was what most of the ghosts call that realm," Scruffy told Duncan. "A few of the ghost call it Limbo or Hell depending on how they look at it," he added.

"This is crazy," Duncan whispered as he tried to wrap his head around the whole thing.

"Maybe, but it is no crazier than letting some of those more problematic ghost run around loose in the living world," Scruffy pointed out.

"Yeah, but Danny and me have been taking care of them," Duncan replied back.

"Yes, I've seen what you and that Danny have been doing as the Kamen Riders," Scruffy agreed as he looked at Duncan's Edge Driver. "And I want to help you and your friend take down the ghosts that continue to attack," he told his human master.

"What?" Duncan replied in disbelief at the proposition that Scruffy gave him. "You want to fight with me and Danny?" he asked.

"Yes, I want to fight alongside you," Scruffy said as he moved closer to the window. "This town needs to be cleared out of all the evil ghosts that wish to harm its people and the two of us and your friend can do it. We have the power to fight those ghosts and we will be an unstoppable team," he explained as he turned to look at Duncan. "What do you say?" he asked.

Duncan looked at Scruffy, amazed that the ghost of his pet tarantula wanted to help him and Danny defend Amity Park. Most of the ghosts that come into this town were only interested in causing trouble and the only ghosts that weren't harming anybody were Axe and the Box Ghost, and even then those two were barely did anything to help out with the ghosts attacking. Duncan looked towards the floor as he thought about Scruffy's offer, wanting to think this over before deciding.

Back outside the Fenton household, Sam was walking down the street to Danny's house and noticed her boyfriend sitting on his stoop holding onto a handlebar. The Goth girl was a bit confused as to why Danny was sitting on his stoop holding a handlebar but as she got closing, Sam noticed the crushed remains of Danny's bike. Fearing that Danny got injured, Sam rushed towards where Danny was.

"Danny!" Sam yelled, getting her boyfriend's attention. "Are you alright? You're not hurt are you?" she asked as she was at Danny's side.

"Oh I'm fine," Danny muttered. "I'm pissed as Hell and I want to kill a couple of people, but I'm fine," he sort of elaborated.

"What happened?" Sam asked, wanting to know what was wrong with Danny.

"A bloated, short-legged, Canadian bison crushed my bike earlier this morning," Danny answered.

"Canada has bison?" Sam wondered as she tried to remember the exact range of the American bison's habitat.

"If they don't, I'm pretty sure I can guess what happened to them," Danny bitterly muttered as he looked over the handlebar in his hand. "I don't think the insurance company my bike is under will cover for this," he added as he thought about how much it would cost to repair or replace his annihilated motorcycle.

"You know, I could pay for the replacement of your bike," Sam offered Danny.

"Sam, we talked about this. I don't want you to use your family's money to help me out whenever I'm in a bind," Danny told Sam.

"And what's wrong with me lending you some cash?" Sam argued.

"Because then I would have to pay you back and in case you've forgotten, I don't have a job," Danny told her.

"Danny, you know I don't care about you not paying me back," Sam pointed out to Danny.

"But your parents do," Danny countered. "Your parents can't stand the idea of giving away money to anyone who they consider poor, which is pretty much everyone in this town with the exceptions of Dash's family and Paulina's family," he added.

"Well then who gives a damn about what my parents think?" Sam told Danny. "I'm going to pay for your new bike and there is nothing you can do to stop me!" she yelled at Danny to get her point across.

"You know it's kind of funny how you're so willing to pay for a machine that uses fossil fuel, but you also care about the environment that you donate a large sum of your parents' money to numerous environment protection groups," Danny pointed out. "Usually you would tell me that the destruction of a vehicle will help out our planet," he added.

"That was when we were fourteen and before you told me how pointless it was to try to get a few hundred cars and trucks off the road when the human population was close to seven billion and a majority of them has personal vehicle," Sam explained to Danny. "After you told me that, I really had to rethink my methods," she added.

"It also kind of helped when I stopped talking to you for a week after calling you out on how stupid your personal crusade was when you were thinking of using violence to get your point across," Danny commented.

"Yeah, but you didn't need to call me an Eco-terrorist back then either," Sam muttered.

"You were thinking like one Sam," Danny argued. "What was I supposed to think?" he asked.

"Okay I get it, I was an idiot," Sam replied. "But I'm still paying for your bike, end of story," she added.

"Alright," Danny relented as he got up from his stoop. "It's not like I would have been able to pay for a new one anyway," he added. "Plus whoever heard of a Kamen Rider who runs from place to place?" he joked.

"Can't you just fly?" Sam asked. "I mean, you have that Zect Mode that allows you to fly," she pointed out.

"Yeah, but then I would have to call myself Kamen Flyer and that sounds stupid," Danny countered.

"Oh God that was horrible," Sam replied. "How about we go to the Nasty Burger to get something to eat?" she suggested.

"Okay, but I'm paying," Danny agreed. "At least that way I won't feel bad for you paying for my bike's replacement," he added.

"Fine," Sam said as she rolled her eyes at how Danny was so stubborn about the money issue.

Just as Danny and Sam were about to leave, the front door opened to reveal Owen.

"Hey Danny, I just wanted to…" Owen started to say only to be interrupted by a handlebar flying towards his face.

Owen was hit by the handlebar and landed on the ground. To make things even embarrassing for Owen, the cameraman recorded the large boy being hit by the handlebar.

"Danny!" Sam yelled in shock at Danny for throwing the handlebar at a person she didn't know.

"What?" Danny replied. "He's the dumbass who crushed me bike," he pointed out before looking at the camera. "You got a problem cameraman?" he asked.

The cameraman shook his head so that Danny would know that the camera was fine with what Danny did.

"Owen!" Geoff yelled as he rushed towards his unconscious friend. "Speak to me buddy," he told his friend.

Sam looked at this display in confusion as to why two members of Total Drama and a cameraman were in Danny's house. To make this awkward moment even more awkward, the rest of the cast started to pour out of the house.

"Dude what is your problem?" Geoff asked while glaring at Danny.

"Gee, let me think about what my problem is," Danny sarcastically replied as he rolled his eyes. "I have fourteen talentless nobodies in my house, a camera crew recording said talentless nobodies, who are in a reality TV show involving them hunting down the local superheroes for a chance at one million dollars, and ONE OF THEM DESTORYED MY MOTORCYCLE!" Danny listed as his voice got louder during that list. "What do you think is my problem is you Beach Boy reject!" he added.

"Wait a minute, a reality TV show?" Sam interrupted Danny's rant. "Why didn't you tell me that you got roped into a reality TV show?" she asked.

"Could have sworn I did," Danny replied as he tried to remember if he did tell Sam about his current situation.

"I'm pretty sure you didn't," Sam told Danny. "Otherwise I would have let you stay at my house until this was sorted out," she added.

"But wouldn't you have to fight with your parents over that?" Danny asked.

"And you expected me to tell them?" Sam retorted.

"Good point," Danny conceded.

"So…" Sam started as she looked over this new development. "What do we do now?" she asked.

Roughly thirty minutes later Danny and Sam were in the Nasty Burger like they originally planned. Unfortunately the cast and the camera crew tagged along which drew the attention of the teens inside the fast food joint. Naturally, the teenagers tried to get themselves seen in front of the camera and went fan crazy over the cast of Total Drama.

"I can't believe that this piece of shit show is popular in America," Danny muttered before chewing on his burger.

"I can't believe they followed us," Sam muttered as she took a bite out of her soy tofu melt. "And does that guy have to be sitting next to you?" she asked.

The guy Sam was referring to was Cody, who was sitting next to Danny, not very subtly, asking the young Fenton boy on how to get a Goth girl to like him.

"So I was wondering Danny, if you could help a guy out with how to get with a certain type of lady," Cody tried to ask Danny for advice. "Not that I really need any help because, you know, I'm such a stud with the ladies," he added in expected Casanova wannabe fashion. "But it wouldn't hurt to trade secrets," he continued. "After all, we both have the same taste in women," he dragged on.

Danny looked at Cody as if he was a total moron, and to be honest he's not that far off, before taking another bite out of his burger.

'God, this guy is worse than Tucker when it comes to him and girls,' Sam thought as she looked Danny with sympathy. 'At least with Tucker, he sort of takes a hint when a girl isn't interested,' she added.

"So what you say, will you help me out with impressing Gwen?" Cody asked expecting Danny to give him an answer.

"Where the Hell is your mentally unstable stalker again?" Danny asked as he was starting to look around for Sierra. "Because honestly, she's the perfect girl for you," he added.

"Are you crazy?" Cody asked, shocked that Danny would think that the super creepy and obsessive Sierra was his perfect match. "Sierra is crazy man," he told Danny. "That girl follows me around, steals my stuff, and even tried to make a fake marriage a real marriage," he explained to Danny.

"And how is two out of three of those things any different from how you act around Gwen?" Danny retorted.

Just before Cody could say anything in defiance, Dash decided to make his presence known to Danny.

"Fenton!" Dash yelled as he stomped his way towards Danny.

"Oh God, I can't believe I'm actually happy for Dash to suddenly bug the Hell out of me," Danny muttered as he looked up to see his tormenter. "What's up Dash?" he asked in a fake sweet tone.

"I just got rejected by one of the hotties of Total Drama on TV, and the only way that fix that is by wailing on you!" Dash yelled as he picked up Danny by his shirt.

As soon as the cameraman noticed Dash lifting up Danny, he pointed the camera at Danny expecting him to something violent. He did so because Chris told the cameraman to film Danny from time to time as the young Fenton boy may be the next big thing for Total Drama with his violent reactions.

Danny did not disappoint as he grabbed Dash's arm and positioned himself in a flying arm bar. Dash freaked out and fell to the ground on his back while Danny simply changed the arm lock into a straight arm bar. Dash cried out in pain as Danny increased the tension in Dash's arm.

"Let me go!" Dash screamed out in pain but Danny ignored him.

"Try tapping out Dash," Sam suggested as she watched in amusement. "I'm sure you know how that works right?" she added. "After all, so many kids you picked on submitted to you," she continued.

As Danny kept the pressure on Dash's arm, a few of the guys of Total Drama watched the jock squirm.

Confessional: Alejandro

For reasons that made no amount of sense, Alejandro was sitting in the Confessional tent back in the Fenton backyard about to give out his opinion on what he had witnessed.

"As a man who uses any piece of information to his advantage, I can see that Mr. Fenton's nephew is clearly a dangerous person to cross," Alejandro pointed out. "If he was an actual member of the show, he would be the kind of person I would want on my side," he added. "It would have been nice to have an enforcer who could do all the dirty work for me and keep a tight leash on anyone who tried to eliminate me," he continued on. "But given how he attacked the Butter Donkey this morning, he's a bit of a loose cannon," he admitted.

Confessional End

"I GIVE, I GIVE!" Dash yelled out as he tapped the floor.

"Finally," Danny replied as he let go of Dash's arm. "I was about to go crazy listening to you whimper like a baby," he added as he stood up.

"Well I'm bored now," Sam commented as she stood up to put away the food tray. "So what now?" she asked Danny.

"How about a movie?" Danny suggested.

"Sounds good to me," Sam said as she and Danny exited the Nasty Burger.

"Hey!" Heather yelled out to Danny and Sam. "What about us!?" she continued to yell.

"What about you!?" Danny yelled back as he and Sam left.

"Did that boy just dissed us again?" LaShawna said to her fellow cast mates.

"I'm not surprised, he's been nothing but a jerk to us," Bridgette pointed out.

As the sun began to set, the cast of Total Drama returned to the Fenton household after seeing what Amity Park had to offer. Gwen knocked on the front door so that someone would open it. The one who opened the door was Jazz and when she saw the cast, she reluctantly let them in. Once inside, the cast saw Vince talking with Chris and Chef in the kitchen.

When Chris spotted the cast, he decided that it was time for the show to officially start.

"Well now, how was Amity Park my dear Campers?" Chris asked the cast.

"Dull," Heather answered for everyone.

"Hey around here, that's a good thing," Jazz argued.

"But that doesn't make interesting TV, and I want to give the viewers what they want to see," Chris interrupted. "Teens getting hurt in violent ways," he added.

"Well, we got a bit of that when Mr. Fenton's nephew tried to break some jocks arm off," Gwen retorted.

"Dash," Vince and Jazz said to each other, knowing how that turned out.

"Someone actually named their kid Dash?" Gwen questioned. "That's as bad as Lightning," she added, remembering the extremely dumb jock she had the misfortune of meeting in All Star.

"Come on people," Chris interrupted. "We have a show to do," he pointed out as the cameraman focused on him. "Now this is everyone's first night hunting down the two ghosts that I want captured. "Team Suffering Spooks, your ghost will be the one known as Phantom while Team Whimpering Wraiths, your ghost will be Edge," he told the teams.

"I still can't believe that a ghost would call himself Phantom," Gwen commented. "He doesn't have a lot of imagination," she added.

Jazz wanted to retort in order to defend her little brother's choice in names, but she kept to herself so that she wouldn't blow Danny's cover.

"Moving on, each member of both teams will be equipped with an ecto…ecto-what's it called again?" Chris tried to continue but couldn't figure out what device the teams would be using.

"It's an EMF meter, not a ghost detector," Vince told Chris. "All it does is measure electromagnetic fields," he explained.

"What does that have to do with ghosts?" Chris complained.

"Usually a ghost is associated with changes in electromagnetic fields," Vince explained as one of the interns passed out the EMF meters to the competitors. "Find a change in the electromagnetic fields, and you may be in the presence of a ghost," he added.

"Fascinating," Chris remarked. "So yeah, you'll each get one of those and this babies," he continued as he held up a Fenton Thermos.

"A thermos?" Courtney remarked. "What are we going to do, give the ghost soup?" she retorted.

"Find out for yourself, you and your co-stars are the ones who are going to be roaming around in the middle of the night hunting down ghosts," Vince told Courtney.

Confessional: Courtney

"I swear that man is so infuriating," Courtney complained. "Just because he's the owner of this house and because it's his stuff that I'm using doesn't mean he can treat me with such disrespect. I was a CIT and I have all the skills, determination, and planning necessary to win this season," she added.

Confessional end

"Now that you all have your gear, it's time for all of you to get going," Chris told the cast members. "You have until the crack of dawn to find your ghost and return back here first," he continued to explain the rules of the challenge. "If neither team captures their ghost, then the team that arrives last will vote off one of their own during elimination," he added. "And since the producers refuse to accept my proposal of strapping any of you onto a tactical missile, the loser will instead be put on the Bus of Shame," he finished.

"Bus of Shame?" Trent questioned.

"Yes, our budget got cut so I had to pick a very old, nearly broken down bus with an engine that tends to burst into flames whenever the ignition starts," Chris explained.

"I don't even want to know how that is thing is still able to move," Vince commented when he heard what Chris said.

"Now let's begin the challenge!" Chris yelled as Chef shoved the contestants out of the house.

A couple of hours later, the contestants began to explore the streets of Amity Park in the night, looking for the Kamen Riders. Meanwhile Duncan was up on the rooftops with Scruffy looking over the town.

"Man, I can't believe that Danny wanted to sit out on tonight patrol," Duncan said out loud. "Well I can believe it because the poor guy had to deal with half of the original cast staying at his house," he pointed out to himself.

"Sounds like your new friend figured out that your cast mates aren't as special as they thought they were," Scruffy said to Duncan.

"Yeah, Danny seems to have a thing against people involved in Reality TV," Duncan explained. "I'm just glad I met him as a Kamen Rider," he added.

"Well tonight, it's just you and me hunting down some ghosts," Scruffy said as he looked over the town. "We should get started," he added.

"Yeah, most random portals start forming at night," Duncan agreed as he pulled out the Edge Blade. "Henshin," he said as he inserted the blade into the Edge Driver.

Scruffy watched as red rings appeared around Duncan and changed him into Kamen Rider Edge.

"Let's get moving Scruffy," Duncan said to Scruffy as he leapt off the roof so that he could get to his motorcycle.

Scruffy glanced down to see Duncan get onto his bike and then looked to the west and shot out a small spider-like wisp at that direction.

"If Duncan is going to be free to continue with his new life," Scruffy started to say as he saw the Whimpering Wraiths through the spider wisp. "I'm going to need to sever his ties to the past," he added in a sinister tone as he headed down to where Duncan was.

"Ready Scruffy?" Duncan asked his new partner.

"Never did like the name Scruffy," Scruffy started. "Call me Spinister," he told Duncan.

Duncan was a bit surprised by the name that Scruffy or Spinister preferred to be called by but let it slide. He figured that given his new look, his old pet wanted a new name to go with the look.

Spinister focused his eyes on the spider wisp he created to track the Whimpering Wraiths and noticed that they were still far away from him and Duncan. Suddenly, the bladed crest on Spinister's head started to glow a brighter green. Duncan was about to ask about the glow but Spinister cut him off.

"There's a portal forming in the southeast of the high school and another in the west of here," Spinister told Duncan.

"Two portals in one night," Duncan commented. "That's odd," he added.

"We should split up," Spinister told Duncan. "I'll take the one in the west, you take the southeast," he instructed.

"Are you sure Scruf….I mean Spinister?" Duncan asked.

"I'll be fine," Spinister assured Duncan. "Besides, you'll be able to get to the one close to the high school faster than me," he added.

"Alright, but if things get tough on your end, get out of there," Duncan told Spinister as he rode off to the southeast.

"I don't think I'll be having any trouble tonight," Spinister said to himself as he created more spider wisps and scattered them throughout Amity Park to search for the rest of the Total Drama cast. "After all, tarantulas are excellent hunters," he added as he vanished from sight.

Back with the Whimpering Wraiths, the team had no luck in finding the Kamen Rider they were assigned to capture. Of course, the team wasn't exactly in top form as Sierra was going through what could best be described as withdrawals as was whimpering and crying over how she was separated from Cody. Her whining over her lack of Cody was slowly chipping away at the nerves of her teammates, especially Heather as the Asian girl let out a yell of frustration.

"Will you shut up Sierra!" Heather screamed as she glared at the whimpering girl.

"But I miss CODY!" Sierra cried out as she curled up into a ball rocking herself back and forth.

"NOBODY CARES YOU PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A GIRL!" Heather screamed at Sierra as she had finally lost her patience with the crying girl.

"Chill out Heather," Geoff said to Heather. "Sierra just misses Cody, lighten up," he told her.

"Yeah, and Cody could care less about Sierra the Stalker," Heather retorted.

"CODY LOVES ME!" Sierra screamed in protest.

"No he doesn't," Heather growled. "He thinks of you as nothing more than a creepy, disgusting, demented stalker, who never wants to see ever again," she told Sierra.

"YOU'RE LYING!" Sierra screamed.

"ENOUGH BOTH OF YOU!" Trent yelled at the two arguing girls. "Hasn't anyone noticed that Lindsay is missing?" he asked his teammates.

Everyone looked around and noticed that Lindsay was indeed missing.

"Great, now we're down a member," Heather muttered in annoyance.

In a dark alley several blocks away from Team Whimpering Wraiths, Lindsay was looking around in the dark.

"I wonder where everyone went," Lindsay said to herself. "Trevor, George, anyone!" she called out while getting Trent and Geoff's names wrong.

Unknown to Lindsay a dark shadow was watching her from the darkest parts of the alley. As the big breasted blonde made her way out of the alley, the figure shot out a long cord like substance at her. The cord turned out to be webbing, which wrapped around Lindsay's head.

Lindsay tried to scream, but her screams were muffled as the figure dragged her closer to it. The shadowed figure was Spinister and he continued to pull the screaming Lindsay towards him.

Once Lindsay was within his reach, Spinister grabbed the sides of Lindsay's wrapped up head and started to apply pressure.

Inside the webbing, Lindsay kept on trying to scream as she felt something pressing the sides of her head. She could feel her skull starting to crack from the pressure that was being applied to her head. Tears poured down her eyes while blood seeped through the cracks and entered her brain.

On the outside, Lindsay's body was waving around frantically but Spinister paid no heed to Lindsay as he continued to slowly crush the blonde girl's head.

"Scream all you want Lindsay," Spinister said to the struggling girl. "Nobody will hear you and the last thing you'll hear is the sound of your skull being crushed.

Regardless, Lindsay continued to struggle but she could not break free from Spinister's death grip. The amount of force that Spinister exerted was continuing to build up until he was finally able to bring his claws together. The end result was that inside the webbing, Lindsay's head was crushed with her brain bursting out of her skull in messy chunks along with her eyeballs popping out. However, due to her head being trapped in the webbing, the gore of Lindsay's head was still inside the webbing.

Lindsay's body dropped onto the ground as blood oozed out of the webbing and the contents of her bladder exited her corpse. Spinister looked at the girl he killed and was about to pick it up so that he could hid the corpse but then thought about something he could do with it.

"Maybe I should do a little decorating for the last person that hurt Duncan," Spinister said to himself as he looked at his handy work. "And this would make a good start for the special end for that last loose end," he added as he picked up the corpse.

"Lindsay!" a male voice called out.

Spinister looked up to see Justin standing at the end of the alley. The two looked at each other for a moment before Justin took a step back.

Before Justin could turn to run, Spinister teleported in front of him and slash the boy's throat. The strange thing was that there was no wound, yet Justin was clutching his throat and coughing up blood as if he was drowning in his own blood.

Spinister watched for a moment before impaling the boy with his right blade. Spinister moved his arm up and sliced Justin open as blood and his organs started to flow out of his body.

"Two in one night," Spinister said. "Not bad at all," he added as he grabbed the remains of Justin and teleported out of the alley.

Author's note: Well the killing has finally started, which also means the rating has changed to M now. The first two victims were Lindsay and Justin, the two main eye candies of the Total Drama series. Granted, nearly all of the girls in Total Drama are eye candy with a few exceptions but Lindsay is generally regarded as the main eye candy girl with how she has the biggest pair of breasts compared to the others. As for why she and Justin got killed first, Lindsay may the least amount of conflict with Duncan, but whatever small amount of conflict between them was enough for Scruffy, now calling himself Spinister, to have her killed. For Justin, during the second season Duncan and Justin came into conflict due to the both of them falling for Courtney (before Duncan had enough of Courtney's bullshit), but it was mostly because Spinister didn't want any witnesses and it was convenient that the witness was Justin.

As for why Scruffy changed his name to Spinister, well originally I was going to call him Rip but it didn't seem right. So I looked up some names that sounded threatening and then I remember a few names from Generation 1 Transformers that were very threatening. The names were Slayride, Sinnertwin, and Spinister, two of which are Decepticon names while Slayride was a comic character of a different alien race if I remember correctly. Out of the three names, Spinister was a match due to Scruffy being a spider and how menacing he is going to be.

Though the ironic thing is that Scruffy/Spinister actually believes that what he is doing is for the best for Duncan.

As for how long it took just to kill some characters, I do feel bad that the killing didn't start until the end of this chapter. However, chances are not good that the body count will rise in the next chapter and will happen at any point from here on out.
