Graduation day

The day was finally here, Harry Potter would be graduating from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Waking up for the last time in his four poster bed, rooming with Ron, Dean, Neville, and Seamus for the last time.

No more OWLS or NEWTs, no more Hermione and her homework planners. No more room of requirement, chamber of secrets or use of the Marauder's Map. No more constant memories of the people who were loved and had fought and died in this place.

This play was no longer home, it had memories of a home. But the chapter was finished, the school days were over.

Life was moving on and if things go as he planned he would be living in a new home, one where he and Ginny could live together and maybe eventually raise a family.

Harry had been going through all his Gringotts accounts and properties and he had found the perfect place.

Potter Manor, the house that belonged to his grandparents Dorea and Charlus Potter and also the house that his own father had been raised in.

As he walked down into the common room, he spotted the love of his life waiting for him.

"Are you ready" she said smiling.

"As ready as I'll ever be. It's time say goodbye, I feel ready to leave."

Harry would be reporting to work for Kingsley as an auror in a few months and Ginny would start training for her new position as seeker of the Holy-head Harpies as Gwenog Jones had recently retired.

"Harry, Ginny, Is Ron upstairs in the dorm?" George asked as he walked by. George still wasn't the same since Fred's death but at least he had been better since his engagement to Angelina.

The wedding would be in just a few weeks time and the whole family was excited about it. Meanwhile Fleur was due to have the baby any day and could not wait for her first grandchild to arrive.

"Ron, I know Fred isn't here for you today, but we had a whole letter planned out for your graduation, here it is. and I just wanted to tell you that if Fred were here he would have been proud of you.

Ronniekins, today is the day you are finally becoming a man. Graduation is one day we never made it for but we are proud you did it, even if you were bloody head boy just like Percy. To us you will always be our little Ronniekins, our little brother, and you can always count on us especially for a good prank. We hope you have the best success in life, and finally gain the Gryffindor courage to ask out Hermione. We love you Ronald, Gred and Forge.

Ron hugged George, both with tears in their eyes as they shared a brotherly moment grieving for Fred.

"George, I love you two, and I know how lonely you get working in the shop all by yourself. I could never make it as an auror anyways so I've decide to come work with you if you'll have me."

"As long as you don't blow anything up, dear Ronniekins, I would love to have you!" George said with a slight smirk.

The time was coming to an end as the Hogwarts 8th years that had chosen to return and some of the 7th years lined up for graduation.

"Good Afternoon, Ladies and Gentleman, I am proudly here to announce the Graduation Class of 2000." Professor McGonagall proclaimed as the procession began.

"Today we have the pleasure to host, Minister Shacklebolt as well as an honored and esteemed surprise guest."

The surprise guest was the portrait of Professor Albus Percival Sulfuric Brian Dumbledore.

"Congratulations Class of 2000. I am indeed very proud of each and everyone one of you as you have all faced and survived many challenges. I wish I could be there today to personally greet you, but sadly circumstances have not made that possible. The world is full of many wondrous possibilities for each of you and I hope you all have success in your life and choose the right decision. I once said that help will always be given to those at Hogwarts who need and deserve it, but I must reform that statement and say that help will always been given to the graduates of Hogwarts wherever they may be. I hope you will always remember to stand together instead of part, I wish you all the best!." and with a twinkle in his eyes behind the moon-shaped spectacles, Dumbledore's portrait vanished and most likely reappeared in the Headmistresses Office.

The handshakes and degrees began as Professor McGonagall called he first name,

"Susan Bones"… "Seamus Finnegan"…. "Astoria Greengrass"…"Hermione Granger"…

"Neville Longbottom"… "Draco Malfoy"… "Harry Potter"… "Dean Thomas"…

"Ginevra Weasley"… "Ronald Weasley"… "Blaise Zabini".

The toss of the caps came and gone and soon the day was coming to a close.

"Mum, where is Bill and Fleur"? Ginny asked curiously when the whole family gathered together.

"Fleur went into labor! The newest Weasley is about to be born."

With excitement from the whole family with non quite matching the excitement of , the family rushed to St. Mungos Waiting room to await the newest family member.

Coming up: The baby, George's wedding, the engagement, eventually kids. Draco and Astoria might be in the mix somewhere but they will play a bigger part once all the kids come into the picture (Scorpius;)). PLEASE REVIEW! I love to hear what y'all think! Oh and check out my new story called A Bell's heartbreak - Thanks HT188 :)
