Short Chapter sorry but it had to be done
Chapter 20
Bethany
"Everybody run!" I yelled
The day had been hectic. It all started after breakfast
7:00 A.M. that day
We all left the breakfast table, Corren and Dorran leading the back as we walked out of the dining room.
Corren then collapsed against the door-frame
"Corren are you alright?" Dorran asked
"There's something wrong with the moon" Corren said, "I can feel it"
Her hair shifted from midnight blue to black, it shifted back and forth rapidly
"Arion go get your grandmother" Dorran barked
Arion took off in a full speed run looking for Corren's mother
"Dorran what's going on?" Lilith asked
"Her life force is connected to the moon" Dorran said "If something happens to the moon, something will happen to Corren"
"What do we do?" Lina asked
"You have to find out what's wrong with the moon" We turned to see that Arion had returned with his grandmother "Corren may die if this gets worse"
The team all headed into the forest in search of what was hurting the moon and Corren
"What do you think it is?" Katlyn squeaked
"My uncles unkillable goons" Lina growled
"I agree with Lina," I said
"You not wrong" I knew that voice anywhere
"Guys its Adeline!" I yelled as a magic bolt flew past Lina's head
Kelli and Usha came out of the shadows. All three of them put their hands out and spoke "Alarath mentho dano"
A portal opened up under Lina's feet, she let out a scream. Arion frantically grabbed her hand; trying to keep them both up, soon his arm gave in and he fell in behind her
"LINA! ARION!" Hazel yelled
"You-" I let a series of curses come from my mouth that would make even a sailor blush
Adeline just smiled like the ditz she is
"Poor little half-blood" Usha taunted
"Go jump off a cliff" I said
She seemed in a trance as she walked away
"Bethany" Hazel said, "I think your now a Charmspeaker"
"What?" I asked
"She just did what you said to do" Hazel said "Plus your hair has an aqua highlight"
"My true power is a Charmspeech" I said "Kelli, Adeline go follow Usha"
They did as I commanded
"L-Lina" Lilith stuttered "A-Arion"
"What happened to them?" Aria said
"I-I don't know" Tara said
"They were taken to the depths of the underworld"
The Man of Death stood on a bolder nearby
"And now I have my niece and the boy I cursed, in my grasp" he said
We all made our magic abilities appear; the three that scared me the most were the twins and Scorp
"Just know that I will stop at nothing to make sure this prophecy does not happen" he said "That means killing all of you"
"Everybody run!" I yelled
We all took off in a run we quickly made it inside of Moonsgrove city boundaries
We ran into the castle
"Are you all okay?" Corren asked she looked better and healthier "Where's Arion and Lina?"
"They fell into a portal that took them to the depths of the underworld" Hazel said extremely slowly still in shock
"What?" Corren said falling to her knees she began sobbing
"Not again" Dorran said, "We lost him again"
"I can't believe this happened" Lilith said tears welling up in her eyes
"Guys" I said "This is Lina and Arion were talking about; if anyone can get out of their situation it's them"
"Bethany's right" Kira said
"She is" Katlyn squeaked
"Now we better get out of here before they figure out how to get through the barrier" I said
'Lina you better get out of there soon I don't know how we'll be able to handle this without you' I thought
