Everyone was sitting by the pool, talking to each other. It was around twelve in the afternoon and they all gathered together to have a lazy day. There would be nothing to disturb their day of relaxing. During the morning they didn't wake up early to do anything. They lay in bed sleeping until around ten. This was the day they all looked forward to. A day of no worries.

"Ah, today is going swell," Temari said as she stretched her arms and legs. Shikamaru nodded in agreement as he leaned back in his chair and looked at the blue sky.

"I can't believe in a few days I'm going to have to return to my troublesome mother," the male sighed and Temari chuckled.

"I don't think she's that bad," Temari said and watched as the male shook his head.

"You don't live with her. She complains over everything and for some reason when she's complaining she likes to hit you with a rolled up piece of paper—which hurts like hell," Shikamaru droned and Temari started laughing.

"How about when you had that cast?" the blonde asked and he sighed roughly causing her to laugh even more.

"The woman called me a moron more in one sentence than I have said the word in my whole life. I was lying down on the couch just checking my cast and she came out of nowhere, smacking me on the forehead. Saying that I was a moron for touching something so delicate," Shikamaru groaned just remembering it though his story was causing Temari to die of laughter.

"So that's why you came to school with a huge bruise on your forehead that looked like an m," Temari smiled as she spoke pinched his cheeks.

"You're funny y'know," she smiled and watched as Shikamaru smiled as well.

Sakura put on her sunglasses, not being able to take the sun blinding her vision.

"So what jobs are you going for?" Ino asked as she sat in between the pinkette and Gaara.

"You've been around me a lot lately," Sakura noted and Ino placed her in a headlock.

"Remember what I told you yesterday. Please don't mess with me Pinky," Ino asked and smiled at Gaara who seemed a bit confused.

"Doctor," Sakura said and was released by the blonde.

"I want to be a doctor, I've always liked helping people," Sakura said and shrugged as she thought about something. Gaara and Ino let out small smirks and watched as Sakura fixed the hair that Ino messed up.

"I want to be a fashion designer—"

"Really not a model?" Sakura asked with a gasp and blushed after she spoke.

"You're really working my nerves girl. I want to be a fashion designer because I like to see my work of art on other people. Like helping them look amazing at a real low price," Ino teased and Sakura laughed. The females turned to Gaara in expectation and watched as he sighed deeply.

"I want no word of this to anyone," they nodded eagerly, "I want to be a therapist," Ino groaned.

"No! You can't be trying to help people also! I mean me and Sakura already have that down," Ino complained as she walked away muttering about helping people.

"What is wrong with her?" Gaara asked and Sakura shook her head.

"When you become a therapist I will personally pay for you to cure her," Sakura promised and caused Gaara to chuckle. She watched him and he remembered two days ago when she was feeling sick.

"I see that you're better," Gaara noted as he stared her in the eyes. Her eyes wavered before returning to look at his smile.

"How about we hang out today, just us," Gaara asked suddenly and Sakura gasped before nodding eagerly. Grabbing her hand he pulled her away from the pool.

"Gaara's gonna get some!" Ino yelled from the juice bar causing Sakura to flip her the bird.

"Okay so I must be the best surfer in the world," Kiba announced as he plopped down by his best friend.

"Why are you stating such a lie," Shino asked as moved his shades closer to his face.

"It's not a lie asshole. I just rode through that difficult wave right now," Kiba said and heard Shino scoff.

"The waves are calm today. So that 'difficult' wave was actually pretty easy," Shino countered. Kiba muttered profanities and walked over to Chouji and Temari leaving a smirking Shino.

"Why don't you shut your damn whore mouth," Misaki whispered angrily as she glared at Sasuke. The onyx haired male rolled his eyes and stared at her—not affected by her glare at all.

"Listen here child, you know Hinata best but your mediocre ideas aren't going to get me anywhere," Sasuke whispered back and Misaki took offense.

"Oh really? That's how feel then do this on your own Uchiha. I'd love to see you do anything without me on your damn side," Misaki said, saying profanities very loudly. Sasuke smirked and held out a hand.

"I don't need you, you realize that right?" Sasuke tempted her and Misaki smiled at him.

"You're right you don't need me, but that would mean that I didn't have to keep secrets from anyone here. Especially Hinata," Misaki threatened but Sasuke shrugged.

"Go ahead Usagi," Misaki smirked and stood up.

"Everybody listen up. I have something to tell—" Sasuke picked her up and threw her in the pool.

"She looked sweaty," He said calmly in his defense.

"Yah! Uchiha you just ruined our game of marco polo!" Tenten yelled at the male pointing an accusing finger at him.

"Now Temari!" Kiba yelled and the blonde appeared behind Shino's seat. She efficiently pushed him out of it—he now stood, looking confused. Kiba ran toward him and when Shino dodged his hit, Chouji pushed him in the pool.

"Success!" Kiba and Temari yelled in unison causing everyone to stare at them.

"What never seen a victory shout before? Well now you have," Temari smiled and held up the peace sign. Everyone who was previously staring at the duo now turned around back to their previous conversations. Shino gets out of the pool first and helps a furious Misaki out. Both brunettes glare at their attackers and Misaki takes one step forward as she speaks.

"Y'know Uchiha, I really want to kick your ass. But this is a fine hotel so I won't do it here. I am warning you though; I will get your sorry ass back for that. Whether it is in front of lots of people, or just in front of one person, I am gonna get you," Misaki warned and Shino patted her head.

"That goes for you as well Kiba," the male assured him. Misaki shared a smirk with Shino and both walked away to get dried up.

"I hope you're afraid dude," Kiba asked Sasuke who didn't seem affected.

"It's an empty threat from a weak girl," Sasuke shrugged causing Kiba to smirk.

"Yeah but if my memory is correct that weak girl gave you a bloody nose. Not to mention Naruto and Neji as well," he reminded the male as he walked away.

"Hinata, I'm telling you this is all truth. I was just minding my own business and the damn fish came out of nowhere," Naruto explained to her with sloppy hand movements. The teenager smiled at her friend and nodded for him to continue.

"So as I'm surfing I kind of ignore it y'know and was going for a wave when the monster jumped out of the water and smacked me in the face!" He said with an exaggerated boom sound.

"You seem to have weird experiences with fish," Hinata noted with a giggle.

"Yeah well those bastards just hate me or something," Naruto sighed loudly causing Hinata to touch his shoulder.

"Oh don't worry, fish have bad days to," Hinata teased and Naruto grinned—nodding in agreement. The juice bar started to play a song and almost everyone stopped what they were doing to listen.

"Holy shit," Misaki said.

"Sing along bitches!" Tenten said and everyone smiled.

"Singing radio head at the top of our lungs, with the boom box blaring as we're falling in love. Got a bottle of whatever but it's getting us drunk; singing here's to never growing up!" they shouted in unison and waved their hands back and forth above their heads.

"We'll be running down the street yelling kiss my ass," Misaki sang

"I'm like yeah whatever we're still living like that," Tenten and Temari continued.

"When the sun's going down we'll be raising our cups," Kiba yelled.

"Singing here's to never growing up!" They shouted all together and laughed. Misaki and Temari danced together and Hinata waved her hands. Ino smiled not really wanting to move anymore. Kiba danced randomly with Naruto while Sasuke sat silently with Shikamaru and Shino. Chouji ate his chips happily. As the song ended the laughter and chatter died down, as did the sun.

"Alright everyone I'm leaving, goodbye!" Temari announced and dragged Tenten with her by the ear. Everyone followed their example and started to leave but Hinata and Misaki stayed behind.

"I still can't believe you lost your bracelet," Misaki droned and Hinata tensed.

"It was Hanabi's. She gave it to me so that I wouldn't miss her as much," Hinata explained as she looked over the pool.

"What? That brat gave you something?!" Misaki asked jealousy lacing her voice causing Hinata to smile.

"I'm sure she gave you something as well. Have you checked your suitcase?" the younger female asked as she checked under her chair.

"Liar," Misaki muttered and checked by the juice bar, just in case. Hinata sat on the ground feeling sorry for herself and her lack of responsibility. Misaki patted her back.

"I'm sure you'll find it and if you can't I'm sure Hanabi will forgive you," Misaki assured her and Hinata nodded only feeling slightly better. As they walked back, with Misaki's arm around Hinata's shoulder, the brunette couldn't help but feel as if something cliché was about to happen. Pushing the feeling down the duo entered the elevator and Hinata mumbled sadly about her bracelet. As the doors opened they saw a tall figure standing there with his signature infamous smirk.

"Die in a hole Uchiha," Misaki growled at him and turned to look at anything else but him.

"You first Usagi, I want to speak to Hinata alone," He informed her and said female had a pink blush brush her cheeks.

"Over my dead body bastard—"

"I wish to speak to him Misaki," Hinata cut her off and Misaki scoffed before walking down the hallway. She didn't leave but instead hid behind the wall where she could hear them but they couldn't see her.

"We haven't really hung out these days have we?" Sasuke asked and Hinata nodded.

"I guess we've both been busy," she smiled at him and Sasuke had to hold onto all control not to kiss her right there.

"Okay listen I wanted to speak to you because it's about this thing; you, me and Naruto. I don't talk about my feelings so this may be awkward in saying. Just….be happy with…whoever you choose. Don't regret it Hyuuga," Sasuke said seriously as he avoided eye contact with her. Hinata smiled at him and nodded her head—a blush adorning her cheeks making them look bright red.

Misaki tightened her fists and screamed in her head.

'Curse those Uchiha's for their awkward smooth talking! And curse that damn blonde for not realizing that his opponent is a sweet talking Uchiha!' Misaki thought as she grabbed her hair and walked to her dorm—not realizing that she was leaving Hinata with the person she didn't want her to end up with.
