Hey guys back again I've had a little more free time to whip up a couple more chapters for my stories anyways just a disclaimer I do not own any of the Inuyasha characters or plots just my own twists and characters, my OC's are; Yuzuki (main character, half-wolf demon/water sorceress), Raven (wolf demon 'bad guy'), Ryuu (water dragon), Kamiko (fire/earth dragon, Ryuu's mate), Taro and Kenji (Ryuu and Kamiko's children), Hayami (Yuzuki's mother), Tsuyoshi (Tiger demon/elemental sorcerer, Yuzuki's teacher), Narumi (Tiger demon, Tsuyoshi's mate), Kazuhiko (leader of the southern tribe, Sayuri's mate), Sayuri (leader of the western tribe, Kazuhiko's mate), Michiko and Satoru (wolf demons, children of Kazuhiko and Sayuri), Zurui (mixed-breed, fire sorcerer 'bad guy') and a new character Kiriko. Chapter 20: Yuzuki's true power

I put my barrier up just as the huge fire ball came my way but the force of the fire ball hitting my barrier shook and shattered my barrier sending my flying back hitting the hard rocky wall, I fell to the ground with a thud, my head was spinning from the impact. The leader's deep, bone chilling laugh rung out I groaned as I went to get up I felt liquid trickled down my left arm I glanced at my left arm seeing a somewhat big gash on it, it must have happened when I was thrown back in to the rocky wall. I stood up I couldn't stand being here, it was too hot and running around dodging his hits in this heat hasn't done me any good I've gotten weaker "Give up half breed just accept your fate" the leader said cockily a frown crossed my face as I closed my eyes, I thought over everything I had been through. There was still so much I still had to do, I had promises to keep and I wasn't going to die again I snapped my eyes open and glared at the leader "The only one dying today is you" I snapped with a look of determination, he frowned and narrowed his eyes sending an icy glare my way.

"You have courage half breed but not brains, you can't live through a fight with me" he said "We'll see about that" I said an evil smirk came to his face as he raised one brow "There's just one thing you don't realise half breed" he said with a smug look. I raised a brow in curiosity "And what's that?" I asked "You're not the first water sorcerer that's come to enhance their powers, over the seven hundred years I've devoured many of your precious water sorcerers" he said I looked at him in, he devours sorcerers? Oh I have really got myself in deep here. He laughed "Looks like you've realised your fate so let's get your miserable death over with" he said I snapped out of my thoughts as he formed a fire ball in each hand, not again I frowned as gritted my teeth, I won't be able to dodge his shots forever. He shot the one from his right hand then the left straight after "Damn it" I cursed under my breath as I leaped out of the way I got straight up to have fire balls shot at me again "I'm getting sick of this" I growled softly as I went back to dodging his fire balls again.

I saw glanced at the leader and looked over his stance, his expressions and how much effort he put into using each attack, he doesn't look like he's left this place in years so maybe if I attack his legs I can use that to my advantage so I can focus on my sorcery. I hope this works I ran at him dodging his attacks I took my chance and slid across the ground between his legs as I got to the back of his legs I stood up and went to slash my claws across the back of his right leg. As I did fire surrounded his leg and I let out a yelp in pain as the fire brunt part of my right hand and arm I jumped back quickly he laughed "Like I said you have no brains, no doubt you've been told that it is just sorcery yet you still think you can beat me by your claws" he said. I knelt on one knee looking at my right arm that started to blister, the pain was agonising "Give up and I'll end your life quickly" he said I closed my eyes and frowned, what more can I do? 'Don't give up Yuzuki, remember you have my powers now as well use them, make the right decision I believe in you' my mother's voice rung out in my head.

My frown disappeared as a smile crossed my face hearing her voice, I blocked out my hate for anything I had, I did the same for any fear I had or pain I felt and felt peace as I thought of my family and friends, I'm doing this to protect them. I'm not here for power for personal benefit I'm here so I can gain power to protect others but I have all the power I need to protect them if we are to beat Naraku and Zurui we'll do it together I opened my eyes as I stood up "Sorry to waste your time but I realised this was a waste of time" I said. "What?!" the leader exclaimed "I don't need power I have my friends and we'll defeat who we need to together I don't need any more power" I said I turned around and went to walk out the exit "No! You may not want power but I will not let you go! Your power is mine half breed!" the leader shouted. I sensed fire headed my way I flipped out of the way I looked at him, his whole body is engulfed in flames and his eyes burnt was rage, he was furious and he wasn't going to let me leave without a fight, I have to end this it's the only way I'm getting out alive.

I stood up "Your powers will be mine!" the leader growled in a possessively cocky voice, I summoned every bit of power I could within me and used every bit of strength I had left "DIE!" the leader shouted as he sent a huge wall of fire my way. I closed my eyes and placed my hands out in front of me bracing for the hit of the fire hoping a barrier of water would appear, sizzling and hissing rung out as well as the smell of smoke, I opened my eyes to see a wall of water in front of me. "Thank you mother" I said softly I brought it back to me and pushed it with force as I shot it towards the leader past his wall of fire, I could only just see a figure through all the smoke, the leader screamed and the cave shook as a thud rung out. I coughed as I waved the smoke away so I could see but I wasn't the only the other fire demons were coughing and waving the smoke so they could see what happened, the smoke died down enough to see him he looked like cold rock, steam came off him "You did this" the leader said in agitation and slight pain.

He raised his hand trying to create fire, sparks flickered out but no fire was conjured "Please give up" I said "Never!" he growled and grabbed his sword and went to swing it at me I held my hands out aimed at him, water surrounded him, I then turned it to ice leaving him as a statue. "He's dead…" one said "No just frozen he'll melt in this heat eventually" I said "Don't let him live" one said "Please you've seen him give us no mercy" another said I gave a nod "Ok but I'll need your friends to be called off from attack my friends" I said. "Blow the horn summon the others back!" one yelled horns bellowed out "Uh here's your katana" one said as he held out my katana to me "Thank you" I said as I took it I went over to the leader frozen in ice as I sheathed my katana. I closed my eyes making the ice even colder I created water around the ice and lifted him up, I moved him in an open area then quickly flung my hands in the direction of the wall making him slam into the wall and smash into pieces.

The fire demons started cheering though it soon stopped when a few fire demons came back wounded "What happened?" one asked "A demon appeared it wanted that group we were after" one replied and the fell to the ground. "Do you know why?" I asked "It said it was sent from a demon called Naraku" another of the wounded said I narrowed my eyes "Well your all safe to lead your lives how you see fit, I'll be back to help after I've dealt with that demon" I said they gave awed looks but I didn't stand around to explain. I ran off through the tunnels following the scents of the wounded that led out, to ground level and fresh air, as I appeared I could smell blood in the air of the fire demons and my friends, I gritted my teeth and ran towards the smell of the blood as fast as my legs could carry me. I could see a white mist ahead but I couldn't see anything I stood still and concentrated I formed water and ran it around the whole area on the ground that the mist covered I lifted my hands up and as I did the water shifted the mist away, revealing everyone.

Inuyasha had bad wound in his side, Koga's right leg looked pretty cut up, Kagome had a couple scratches and bruises here and there, Sango was kneeling by Miroku's side he was knocked out, Kirara stood in front of them. Ginta and Hakkaku each had a few cuts here and there, they were near Kagome, there were a few fire demons still there and of course the demon that caused this, it had a woman's torso joined to the body of a snake, the end of the tail had spikes on it. The woman had armour covering her torso and arms, she had fair skin and white long hair, though her eyes were different colours her left crimson her right light blue, the fire demons were about to attack. "That demon is mine! Get back to your tribe!" I yelled the fire demons stared in awe that I was alive "Yuzuki!" Kagome called out happily, the fire demons ran off as I walked over to everyone "Yuzuki I'm so glad you're ok" Kagome said "You took long enough" Inuyasha grumbled.

I ignored his pouting "Who are you?" I asked "Kiriko Naraku incarnation" Koga replied "The wench doesn't like talking" Inuyasha said something seemed unusual about her I brought water up from behind her to surround her, she slithered out of the way and sent her tail our way knocking us over. "It's gone!" Kagome exclaimed we got up I closed my eyes and created water and flung the water out everywhere "There!" Koga exclaimed "Finally…" Inuyasha said I opened my eyes and Inuyasha had his sword out. "Wind Scar!" Inuyasha shouted as he flung his sword ground letting the wind scar fly towards Kiriko when the bright light died down she was glowing in a way like she absorbed the wind scar "What? That's impossible!" Inuyasha exclaimed in awe Kagome came over to me "Yuzuki look at her bracelet" Kagome said softly. Kiriko had a bracelet on her left wrist, it had elemental symbols on it, wind, fire and earth but no water I looked at Kagome "When I saw so shot her with your scared arrow" I said softly she gave a nod I walked towards the demon Kiriko.

"Yuzuki what are you doing?" Koga questioned "Stop taking things into your hands" Inuyasha said "Kiriko Naraku sent you for my water sorcery, for my elemental power?" I asked she smiled as she let out a bone chilling hiss "Smart half breed" Kiriko said with a look. She was curious as was I "So why do you where the three elemental symbols and not Naraku?" I asked "He is a fool, one who has no such knowledge in how to strip such powers from such strong sorcerers" Kiriko said. "You have a fire element symbol, have you stripped powers for Zurui or a different sorcerer?" I asked "Zurui is a mixed breed I would never touch such filth and it disgusts me that I have to result to getting water sorcery powers from a mere half breed" Kiriko said as a look of disgust came over her face. I frowned "So why come after me then if you despise half breeds?" I asked "Because you are the only one I can find that has such a reliable strong family background blood of water sorcerers" Kiriko said background? I thought mother said she was the first to have such a gift in our family.
