The four continued to fall until they landed in river with the sword, Force Edge, in the middle. Dante and Akira on one side and Vergil and Annabelle on the other as the twins rushed forward for the sword. Vergil grabbed it, causing Dante to take a few steps back as Vergil demanded, "Give that to me" Dante knew he was talking about the amulet as he said, "No way, you've got your own" Annabelle and Akira watched the twins with Annabelle nearly on the verge of tears as Vergil said, "Well, I want yours too" "What are you gonna do with all that power, huh?", Dante asked, "No matter how hard you try, you're never gonna be like Father"
That plucked a string on Vergil as he growled and ran towards Dante saying, "You're wasting time!" Dante drew Rebellion in time as he caught the blade of Force Edge while Vergil caught the blade of Rebellion with Dante saying, "We are the Sons of Sparda. Within each of us flows his blood, but more importantly, his soul!" They both let go as Dante said, "And now…my soul…is saying it wants to stop you!" Vergil laughed at Dante's statement with Annabelle behind him while he said, "Unfortunately, our souls are at odds, brother" He continued while clenching a fist, "I need more power!"
Annabelle tried to speak, but she felt her voice was gone as she heard Dante say, "And we're supposed to be twins" Vergil readied Force Edge as he said, "Twins…right-" "Vergil", Annabelle said finally, "Please stop this" Everyone looked at her as tears fell from her face and she embraced him tightly as she continued, "You have enough power so, please stop this. Your brother's trying to help you. I'm trying to help you. I'm begging you…please stop…for me"
Annabelle stared into Vergil's dazzling, blue eyes with tears blinding her sight. "Please, just stop. You're brothers and," she swallowed, trying to clear her throat, "brother's shouldn't fight one another." Akira was right by her side, placing her right hand on her Annabelle's shoulder just to take away the pain that she's feeling. "Annabelle, you know what's going to happen and I know what's going to happen. We must not include into their fight." Akira disclosed. Vergil observes Annabelle's pain that she's feeling; she truly cherishes him. The cold-hearted man closes his eyes just for a brief moment and show a soft smile, "I'm sorry Annabelle, but this must be done. I genuinely need this amulet." Annabelle didn't care at all, she genuinely wanted them to stop, but instead of listening to her the two stubborn brothers begin to fight, but this time one of them lives.
Annabelle subsequently starts to charge at Vergil trying to save him, but it was too late. Right at that very moment, Akira had her arms wrapped around Annabelle's abdomen, tackling her to the ground while Dante slices his brother's chest. "No…NO!" Annabelle screamed. Vergil looks down to his wound and drops to his knees, "Am I…being defeated?"
Akira looks ahead and post a frown on her face. She knew what's about to happen. Annabelle started to move around, but Akira was still holding her down. She looks at Annabelle with a downcast expression knowing that the man that she fell in love will be soon gone. "I-I'm so sorry, Anna…" She quaked.
"I'm sorry Dante, but this is for your own good…if you don't want to be trapped in the Demon World. I'm staying...this place...was our father's home..." Vergil steps off the cliff and slices his brother's hand with his yamato, and that was the last of Vergil. In addition to his victory of his brother's defeat, Akira finally let go Annabelle and rushes to bear hug Dante. "You did it!" Akira shouted out extremely ecstatic; however, for Annabelle, she was lost in sadness. Dante and Akira both stare at Annabelle knowing that the man she cherishes is now gone.
"Anna, we're really sorry. You knew what's going to happen." Annabelle ignores her friend and started to collapse to the ground, cupping her face and started to weep. "Anna…" Akira uttered as she was walking toward her friend and comforting her. "I-It hurts, Akira…" Annabelle bawled. Akira lifts Annabelle up and hugs her. "I know, I know. Everything 's going to be okay." Appropriately at that time, everything started to shake. "Come on girls", Dante said as he picked up Force Edge that Vergil dropped, "Let's get back to the Human World" Akira lifted Annabelle in her arms and said, "Right"

So Annabelle tried to stop Vergil but fails. So the next chapter I'm warning people ahead of time it will have a lemon in it the next chapter will be out soon.
