Chapter 20: Goodbye $$$
Kagome has the patience of a goddess, thanks to her dealings with a certain hanyou in her previous world, but sometimes, she really want to punch her wards in the face; mainly the two short-tempered males.
It all started out so peacefully, she after having a lovely breakfast with her rowdy family of midget mages, Kagome sent the group of midgets to the guild while she cleaned the dishes and tidied up the house. Everything was perfect, the sky was a perfect shade of blue, and it was fairly warm despite the snow that covered the earth. All seemed right as the raven haired teen made her way to the guild, or where the guild should have stood.

The chibi mages were hanging out in the guild as usual, waiting for their big sis to meet up with the later. Everything was fine till an argument broke out between Nastu and Gray.
"Man, I really hate this weather! I hate the cold!" Nastu complained to his pseudo-siblings.
Gray scoffed at his comment. "What was that pinkie? Can't handle a little cold?"
"No way! The cold doesn't bother someone as great as me! I'm just worried you'll catch a cold because you are always stripping naked!"
"Shut up Fire-brain! I got rid of that habit a long time ago!"
"Hehehe, then where did your clothes go?" Natsu smirked.
Gray looked down at himself…

… his top was gone…
"God dammit Natsu! Why didn't you tell me earlier!?"
"HAHAHAHA! Maybe you should quit being a mage and be a stripper instead!"
Gray's cheeks reddened in embarrassment and anger. "Are you stupid? My magic is way better than yours! You should go and be a stripper!"
Natsu stopped laughing and actually looked offended by his comment. "My magic is way better! Mine can kill a dragon! Igneel taught me!"
"You are such a dumbass! Dragons don't exist!"
"They totally do! Igneel is a dragon!"
"Ha! I don't believe you! Where is he now? He was probably your imaginary friend!"
"How dare you! I'll show you the amazing magic Igneel taught me!"
"Bring it on Fire-brain!"
And that was how the tiny ice and fire mages started their brawl, knocking over the chairs, tables and mages alike. Before long, Erza also joined the battle, though her intent was to stop the two boys, but somehow it ended up in a three-way battle.
"Stop it both of you!" Erza yelled at her fellow chibi mages.
"Shut up! You ain't the boss of us!" Gray and Natsu yelled in sync at the red head.
"What was that you bastards?!" Erza raged at her two 'brothers'. "You want a taste of my magic?"
"Bring it on!" "I'm all fired up!" The two idiots answered stupidly.
A dangerous glint entered Erza's steel gray eyes. "You asked for it!"

When Kagome arrived, the guild had been leveled to the ground. Several mages were bruised and had scratches on them. She can also distinctly hear Makarov sobbing somewhere. And in the middle of the ruins were her little ones and Laxus. The blond teen had grabbed both Gray and Natsu by the back of their shirts, and the two boys were struggling to be freed and yelling out insults. Cana and Levy both latched onto Erza, trying to prevent her from making the Higurashi household completely void of any living males.
"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?!" Kagome yelled.
All at once, the chibi's started talking (loudly), trying to explain the situation. However, their fast paced speaking only made Kagome's head spin and no information was gained from it.
"SHUT UP!" Kagome yelled again, and the chibi's all froze. They never seen onee-chan this angry before! And it was terrifying! Kagome turned her attention to the blond teen that held her two boys. "Laxus!"
Said teen looked at her warily. "Yes?"
"Explain what has happened."
"Ah… well Natsu and Gray got in an argument and started to fight in the guild. Erza went to stop them, but it somehow ended up in a three-way battle. And as you can see," He gestured to the splintered woods that piled around them, "they destroyed the guild in the process."
Silence fell across the fairy tail mages as they all watched how Kagome will react. Kagome's bangs covered her eyes, her fist clenched and her body shook in anger. Luckily, or unluckily, depending on who's point of view, a voice broke the silence and brought force a new terror.
"Kagome." Makarov spoke in a monotonous voice.
"Master Makarov?" Kagome turned to look at the aged guild master. Her fist still shaking in anger at her wards.
"The guild was destroyed by your wards, correct?"
Nod.
"Therefore it is your responsibility as well."
Nod.
"Good, I suppose you will also be paying for the cost of rebuilding the guild."
Another n-.
"W-wait a second!"
"Is there a problem Kagome?" Makarov glared at the young mage; a scary aura surrounded him.
"N-none at all Master." Kagome stuttered.
"Wonderful!" Makarov smiled sadistically.
'My money!' Kagome internally cried.
AN: Heeeey! I'm still alive lololol XD It has been a while since I've updated any of my stories (I apologize for that). First year university is hectic ಠ_ಠ especially since I decided it would be great to go into engineering… anyways, I'm alive and its all good :') gosh, I really miss writing stories for fun!
I believe one of you asked about their current age, but with the recent updates it kinda screwed what I had in mind, considering the fact that all first generation slayers are basically old geezers and grandma … thanks a lot MashimaHiro(ू˃̣̣̣̣̣̣︿˂̣̣̣̣̣̣ ू)
Right now, it's probably late X777 or early X778, right before the Strauss family joins the guild. And the physical age of the the Fairy Tail mages are the following:
Makarov-81 (He was born in 696… he's really old...)
Kagome- 17/18
Laxus- 16/17
Bikslow/Freed/Evergreen- 13~15ish, not sure when they joined the guild in canon.
Erza/Mira- 12/13
Gray/Cana/Elfman- 11/12
Levy/Lucy/Lisanna- 10/11 the triple L's XD
As for the 1st generation dragon slayers…
Natsu/Gajeel- 10/11 (physically)
Wendy/Sting/Rogue- 5/6 (physically)
*note: everyone but the 1st gen. Slayers and Kaggy's age are pretty accurate to canon.
