Leah P.O.V

I sighed as I looked out the window from Zavior and I's bedroom to see the lights from the lab in the guest house still open.

"Baby" I whispered softly knowing he could hear me all the way in the guest house with our connection. "Come on come to bed… We have a big day tomorrow." I whispered out to the darkness. I don't hear anything for about five minutes before he answers.

"Come here?" He asked softly.

"Zavior it's late." I whispered.

"Just for a little while? Come dance with me." He said quietly and I smiled softly.

"Zap me." I said, and he did. He zapped me to the lab where John Mayer was playing softly in the background throughout the three story lab. He had a bottle of scotch next to shot glasses and I knew it was because he was stressed over this new information about the special bloods. He was standing there with a glass. I smiled at him.

"The dark day is tomorrow… we should be resting." I said as I walked into his waiting arms.

"Oh and I will be… after one little dance." He said twirling me around softly. We swayed side to side and I sighed in content as I rested my head against my husband's buff chest and we swayed.

Gravity is working against me. Gravity wants to bring me down.

"I love this song." I said as we swayed around the lap in synch, like we were floating swiftly, slowly.

"I know. It's the most listened to song on your I pod." He said quietly in my ear. I giggled.

"Married and you're still trying to impress me?" I asked softly.

Oh twice as much ain't twice as good, And can't sustain like one have could.

"I'm never going to stop trying to impress you Leah." He said as he held me. I leaned up and kissed him we stopped swaying so he could intensify the kiss. I sighed as he started kissing down my neck.

"I need to show you something." He said taking my hand and bringing me to the roof of the lab, outside where there were about a million stars in the sky.

"Oh my God." I said softly as he walked me to the edge. "How come I've never seen this." I said. He shrugged.

"Before you came. I used to come here almost every night. Rain or shine and just think about how unhappy I was." He said. "The other night I came up here just… to see what it felt like to be up here and all I felt was happiness. I couldn't find an ounce of angst." He said as I leaned against his chest and looked up at the stars.

"We're going to be together forever" I whispered with a little smile.

"I'm here until you get sick of me… and even then I don't think it'll be enough for me to leave you… Probably beg you to let me stay." He said and I laughed. I turned around to kiss him.

"Everything's going to be ok right?" I said softly showing him my weaker side as my tears fell. Zavior was the only one I would let see me like this. He nods wiping away my tears softly with his thumb.

"I made a promise to you. I promised you a happy life full of incredible things and I promised that I would spend the rest of my life making sure you and the boys were happy and safe… I meant that Leah. Nothings' going to hurt us." He promised holding me to him. I sighed wrapping my arms around his buff body. He kisses my forehead and smiles.

"I have a gift for you." He said.

"Zavior what did I say about that." I scolded him. He would never understand why I wasn't like most women and admire the fact that he spent a lot of money on presents for me.

"Don't worry love this one didn't cost me anything… in fact I stole it." He said brightly.

"What?" I asked staring at him like he was crazy.

"From the northern sky." He said softly as he pulled me toward him and then waved his hand. In his palm was a floating star shining brightly.

"Oh my god." I whispered he smiled. "You got me a star from the northern sky."

"Mhm." He answered, "It's a specific one too. The coordinates of where it was located are the twins birthday so it was specifically picked." He explained. The tears flowed easily.

"You know how much I love stars." I said as I wiped my tears. He opened the diamond encrusted locket that he got me for my first mother's day. He placed the star inside it.

"So you have it near your heart all the time." He said as he closed the locket and the shining star disappeared.

"I love you." I said kissing him deeply pouring all my love into that one kiss. One thing lead to another and he was ripping off my clothing and we made love underneath the stars.

*Next Morning*

"For God sakes!" Said the voice of Zavior's mother. I opened my eyes to be covered in a blanket on top of the roof. Zavior fast asleep beside me both of us were naked under this sheet.

"Today is probably the biggest day in the boys' lives and you're out here on this roof like a bunch of horny teenagers." Syda said while Jenny giggled. Jefferson came with a smirk and a robe for Zavior.

"Your majesty." He said professionally as Zavior got himself in his robe and I got myself in mine. I yawned and stretched. Zavior's mother just shakes her head at us.

"The castle is being flipped for this dark day and you're on this roof having sex like a bunch of rabbits." His mother said.

"Like wolves mah. Like wolves." Zavior corrected smugly as he tied up his robe. Candice and Fiona come on the roof with the boys and Zavior smiles.

"There are my little princes. Come to dada." He said opening his arms for them. His mother smiled softly at watching her son interact with her grandsons. "It's your dark day. Who's going to be the most powerful babies in the whole wide world" He said as he held the twins. I smiled as they drooled all over his face and placed their saliva infested hands all over Zavior's face and in his mouth. I laughed as I took Zachary from his arms and he rested his head against my chest and projected a clip of me singing to them last night at bedtime.

"You want me to sing to you?" I asked him softly. He just stares at me with wide eyes and I smile.

"Later tonight baby you have to go receive your blessings so you could be stronger then everyone." Zavior says cutely as Syda and Jenny take them to go get dressed.

"Come on your majesties you need to get dressed you're already behind schedule for the ceremony." Jefferson said as everyone was ushered off the roof and into the house that had decorators and planners and caterers all over the place. Zavior went into the twins' bedroom and I went into our bedroom to take a shower while my makeup and hair people set up to get me all glammed up. The minute I was out of the shower they put my hair in soft waves at the same time my makeup was being put on. I was just sitting there quietly as I fiddled with the necklace he gave me that had the star inside it. I smiled as I thought about how far I had come to get here, to this happy place. A husband two sons a job I loved. I was the happiest I had ever been in my whole life. I heard a knock on the door and when I saw that it was my father who was not in ghost form I smiled. He was only allowed to come visit because he was our high priestess. I was grateful that I could summon my father back from the dead on occasion.

"Daddy." I said softly with a smile getting up.

"Where are my grandsons." He said as he hugged me tightly and when he did all I got was the smell of the lake. It was a comforting smell.

"They're right here." Zavior said walking in with his suit on. Both the twins in his arms and both decked out in their tiny little Armani suits. My father looked like he was going to cry as Zavior presented them to him.

"They're perfect." He whispered extending his hands for them.

"This is Zane." I said as I took my feisty son who was trying to pull off his clip on bow and handed him softly to my father. "And this is Zachary." I said as I took Zachary and placed him in his other hand.

"The most perfect human beings." He said softly as he bounced with them. Both the twins just looked at him in wonder and made random sounds as they looked at him. Zane projected an image of my me singing them the La Push lullaby and my father smiled.

"Your mother sings to you." he whispered as he walks around with them. "I used to sing that lullaby to her too you know." He said to them. They just continued to make sounds and giggle and drool. I smiled as Zavior wrapped his arm around me and kissed my temple.

"Come on people everyone's here." Said Zavior's mother walking into the room. When she saw my father she smiled and bowed.

"Harry. Pleasure to see you again." She said as she bowed. When she finished she went to give him a hug. He smiled.

"No need for that." He said meaning the bowing trying to be modest about his high standing in heaven. I had to role my eyes about the fact that there was a hierarchy even in heaven and since my father created me and I was meant to be with Zavior and we saved the world every week…. My father was pretty up there.

"Nonsense." She said standing by him and looking at the twins in his arms. "My two leading men. My two little precious beings." She said as she took Zachary from my dad's arms. She turned to look at me and smiled.

"Leah you look gorgeous" She said as she took in my strapless, black floor length gown. That hugged my figure perfectly. The locket Zavior gave me around my neck was the only jewelry I was wearing besides my huge engagement ring and sparking wedding band… they never came off. The photographer came in with a huge camera.

"Where should I set up?" He asked.

"Oh the library that's the best room in the entire estate perfect for pictures." Zavior's mother said ushering him out. We all went to the library and as the photographer set up my father and Zavior's father along with his mother, the twins, Zavior and I all were getting primped to take the family photos.

"Ok can I just get some with Leah, Zavior and the twins by the fireplace." He asked and Zavior and I got the twins and posed for the family portrait. I smiled as the photographer started making noises so the twins could smile and they did. They were clapping and laughing hysterically and Zavior and I were smiling down at them amused.

"This is great." The photographer said as he snapped away. After that set was done he wanted ones with just Zavior and I. Then all the parents with us. It took us a whole hour. Soon after we were downstairs to talk to our guests before the ceremony which would start at midnight. Every type of magical creature was at our house. Powerful witches, Warlocks, Fairies, Trolls, even the sire of the sea left the water for the night to come give his blessings. There were all types of bloods being served for the vampires that attended and all different types of food including human food. The weird thing about this whole event was that everyone looked so normal… I mean you could hardly tell this was a party full of magical creeps. Zavior and I made our rounds introducing everyone to the twins they were on their best behavior not crying barely fussing. When it was time to introduce them to the five covens I couldn't help but be a little nervous.

"Hello." Said the leader of the north coven. His wife was a blonde woman and she had green eyes and nice dimples. Her coven was behind her and they looked really nice.

"Hi." I said. She rubbed her hands together and her husband laughed.

"We can finally hold them." She said as she stretched her arms out for them. Zavior laughs as he places Zane in her arms. And I place Zachary in her husbands. The other covens crowd around them and admire them.

"Oh what joys," The man with red hair from the south coven said as they held them. Zane projected an image of Zavior and I cooing over him in his crib.

"He really loves his parents." She said softly as she cradled him. I smiled and when Zachary started fussing Zavior took him back quickly as he hated seeing them upset. We mingled a little bit more. There was soft bell that floated throughout the whole house and everyone went to the garden where Zavior and I got married and where the ceremony for the twins would be held. My father was standing by an alter made of white flowers and candles were lit as everyone gathered around. The covens were right behind us standing with Zavior's parents.

"We are all here today to dedicate twins Zane and Zachary Connell to a life of good. A life of lightness and greatness that they are destined to have." My father started with as Zavior and I held the quiet twins who were just looking at my dad with wide eyes. I smiled a little at their faces.

"Their parents Zavior and Leah Connell have expressed their want to have these boys protected by the forces of good people in this room… by the forces of good magic." He continued.

"Do you two know your duties as parents raising children in light?"

"We do." Zavior and I answered. I kind of felt like I was getting married again.

"Do you five chosen covens understand the extent of your duties in protecting these twins. Protecting the good of these twins for the rest of their lives?" My father asked the five covens.

"We do." They answered in unison. "Come forward." My father said and they did. My father took the Connell crest and handed it to each of them in their palm. They held out there hands with the crest in it and Zavior and I held hands reached out our hands and then the crest became branded into their palms. Like a tattoo … obviously not painfully at all. It was part of the tradition so that they wore which family they were loyal too. They smiled when the crest was branded into their palms.

"Now send off your blessings." My father said. Every member of the covens reached out their newly branded palm to the twins and light emitted from the brands in their hands and went onto the twins. Who when they saw this light started to giggle and clap hysterically which caused the audience to laugh and smile at their enthusiasm. My father smiled.

"Blessed be." My father said.

"Blessed be." The five covens said in unison as the light finished shining on them. They had eyes wide as saucers as they clapped and giggled. Zavior laughed as he held up Zachary and kissed his cheeks. Everyone clapped softly and my father smiled as Zavior and I gave him the twins so he could anoint each of their heads with the ceremonial oil. I looked over at Zavior's mother who was dabbing her eyes and I smiled softly as Zavior put his arm around me and kissed my temple.

*Three hours Later*

I was in the kitchen with the southern coven talking to them. They were the last people here and they were just about to leave.

"So we'll see them for Christmas?"

"Oh for sure yes Zavior is going to throw his annual Christmas party. You guys will definitely be invited the twins love you." I said softly. The head of the coven nods and smiles brightly as she hugs me and then Syda shows them out. When they're gone I go into the backyard where my father is.

"Getting ready to leave?" I whispered as my heels clicked in my fancy dress and I went to sit beside him in the garden. He wrapped his arm around me.

"I'm so proud of you Leelee." He said softly as he held me.

"Thanks dad." I said as he traced the bracelet I had that held the Connell crest.

"I really wish I could've been there for you when everything was happening maybe… maybe you wouldn't have left-

"Dad… I was supposed to leave. This is where I belong here with him and my kids." I explained quietly. My dad looks like he's refraining from saying something.

"… I don't like him… Let me retract. I don't like this family. He's a good guy he treats you well. I like that. But this life Leah… It's not you-

"It's not who you want me to be… I get it when I married him I felt like I became a sellout. Marry the rich guy and leave everyone behind… But it's not my fault that he was the first person who treated me right. I fell in love with him and I know he's not La Push's best but he's my husband. The father to my kids and the only man who has made it clear that I'm in his best interest."

"And I get that I do…. But part of me feels like he also wants to erase your involvement with your actual family. He wants it to be all about his family, his traditions. You may have left La Push on your own but as long as he can help it… he'll never want you to go back."

"And why do you think that?"

"Why wasn't our pack chosen to be one of the covens tonight?" He asked me softly.

"Cause they never applied… and even if they did they wouldn't have known it was me when they were doing it." I said softly. My dad looks back at the house were Zavior was in the living room with the twins on the floor in front of the fireplace. He looks at me again.

"Leah… yes they did apply." He said looking at me weirdly. I shook my head softly.

"I never saw a request." I said knowing if I had seen a request from them I would not have forgotten it. He looks back at Zavior and then at me and I shook my head softly.

"He wouldn't keep that from me." I whispered softly. My father doesn't say anything as he passes his hand through my hair.

"I know you love him and I know he loves you. I know you have a life together but that doesn't mean that everything is always going to be simple between you two. Being destined to be together is the bright side of this lovely fairytale you've dreamt for yourself….but it can be blinding."

"…You think I'm blinded by my love for him?" I whispered. He looks back at Zavior with the boys again.

"In some ways yes" He said truthfully.

"You want me to go back to La Push." I said softly as I looked up at the stars in the night sky. Not letting him see the emotions on my face.

"I do… Without him. With the twins but I know you would never do that." He said. I got up and started to walk away softly without saying a word.

"Leelee stop." He said softly.

"You're right dad… I would never do that. You said you saw what they were doing how they were hurting me."

"I did see!" He yelled back.

"If you're telling me that you want me to go back there… without the only person whose ever truly loved me… who's ever truly chosen me you clearly weren't watching hard enough. You are just like the rest of them. Narrow minded, unaccepting and selfish… you don't care about me. You just want me to go back and please your friends" I said knowing that my father was in fact close friends with elders when he was alive.

"I'm just trying to protect you from this!" He yelled gesturing to the large estate behind me. I looked up softly at the large house that had become my personal paradise. My castle. My home.

"I married into this family knowing what I was doing… I'm a Connell now dad, my sons are Connell's and this." I said gesturing to the estate, my diamond engagement ring glistening softly. "Is who we are whether its liked or not." I said tears in my eyes.

"You've forgotten where you came from." He responded

"You should go." I said. He looked shocked. "Just go." I said softly. He sighs and says I love you before he turns to leave.

"Dad?" I said getting his attention he turned to look at me. "Maybe you shouldn't come back for a while."

"Leah don't do this do you see what he's doing!? He's keeping us apart" I shook my head softly.

"No dad… that was all you."

Was all I said before I turned away from him softly and went into the house. I walk into the living room to see Zavior with the twins. The whole scene looked like something that would be pulled out of a book entitled "Perfect life".

"Leah." He said getting up when he noticed my tears. "Sweetie what's wrong?" He asked as he put the twins in the playpen and came to wipe my tears with his thumb. I looked up at him not saying anything for a while.

"There was a La Push request… to be part of the covens." I said to him softly. "And you hid it from me." I said getting slightly louder.

"I was trying to protect you."

"I am tired of everyone trying to protect me I am not a child… You weren't trying to protect me. You were protecting yourself and you know it." I said before I shook my head at him tears in my eyes and left to go upstairs to our bedroom where he would not be sleeping tonight.
