Chapter 12 Part Five:
Redemption: The End of Heartache
"It's been too long, Overlord Laharl, tell me, has Etna tried any funny bussiness or is she still your...?" Whis greated the fellow overworldly being before the cat-man interrupted.
"Looks like that Xehanort guy is kicking your sorry asses."
"Yeah, we could need some hel..."
"Sorry, this is your fight, meanwhile I'm gonna take a nap." Beerus said aloud as he began to ponder to himself.
"Philemon and Cosmos are invloded, and Kingdom Hearts has finally appeared, that means...
"Hey! What kind of deity are you?!" Rozalin screamed in the God's long ears much to his annoyance of the creature until he recognized the former overlord.
"Wait, Overlord Zenon? Why the hell are you here, and why couldn't I sense you!?"
"I am here with my boyfriend to prevent the end of all worlds and I'm not Zenon anymore, It's Rozalin." The female corrected.
"Okaaayyyy...anyway, how do you all know each other?" Adell asked Whis.
"Oh, I guess I should explain. The False King's first attack on the omniverse was what brought gods, overlords and even deities together to stop this crisis. However, his first defeat was a wasn't permanent as he vowed to return again, along with the vilest of evil doers. So, Philemon was the one that suggest an army of light to fight against the darkness. Simple, is it not?"
He asked the small group much to the confusion of the few Avengers.
"Wait, you're tellin' me that multiple gods knew this? Then that would mean Thor, The Beyonder and our version of the watcher should..." Logan asked the question before Whis finished the sentence.
"Yes, they know, however, sometimes memories would be erase or forgotten by the passage of time."
"What do you mean erase or forgotten!? How can a god forget something that big!?" Kamina yelled as he tried to understand the strange compacted nature of Whis' story however, the angel simply ignored the youth as he noticed the heart shaped moon.
"We will continue this conversation later, you might want to defeat Xehanort, he is working separate from the False King but is still a major threat." The otherworldly being thought aloud.
"He's right, Kamina, you and Adell join me in the front line, Rozalin and Laharl will defend Wolverine and Dante as they recover. If Whis and Beerus won't join us, then we will make do." Cap commanded as he raise his shield, knocking back an attacking Unverse.
"Got it!" Adell exclaimed as he and the blue haired teen joined the soldier, while Rozalin stay behind to help defend the knocked down duo.
Meanwhile...
Mark managed to regain concessness and witness Kira fighting against multiple enemies, including Xemnas.
"Kira, hang on!" Mark screamed as the young soldier rejoined his ally. As they teamed up to fight the leading nobody.
"So, it's seems the soldier wants to fight against me as well. So be it." The man said calmly as he summoned two red blades.
"Master Mark, should I activate..."
"No, I got him, just keep his lackeys off of me for a bit." The young man answered as brought out his trusty guns.
"I understand." Kira calmly answered as she took down an Unverse with the end of her staff.
"Let's go, Skullbreaker!" The soldier screamed as he fired his revolver and instead of an usual bullet, it was a blade coming from the barrel.
"I see, so you do wield a blade, interesting." Xemnas pondered calmly as the two combatants blades meant each other, clashing laser against laser.
"Wait till you see the other!" Mark mocked as he manged to hit the nobody across his chest.
"Impressive, you make a great ally once I finished you off!" Xemnas cheered as he attempt to stabbed through the soldier's heart, only to missed as Mark ducked and allow Kira to jumped at the leader's nobody and attacked him with her staff.
"No, you will be vanquished here, spirit that hunts this body." The monk answered as the end of her staff revealed a blade and stabbed the nobody, finishing him off.
"Thanks Kira." Mark thanked his friend as the duo noticed Xemnas' hair became brown and his eyes turned blue.
"..The hell...?" the soldier asked before the man stood up, and his skin started to become paler.
"Who...Who am...wait, I'm Terra again." The once nobody said as Spiderman, Ryoji, and Iron man approached the three.
"Hey, we just defeat that other Ansem, he was tough but...wait who are you?" Tony asked.
"Kira, she used her skill to cleanse spirits to destroy the presence that was controlling this guy."
"That would explained how that heartless guy disappeared before Ryoji tried to eat him." Peter somewhat joked much to the other side of Minato's cringe.
"I did not...Ok, yeah kinda try..."
"Anyway, we need to help Sora and his friends...I'm sure Aqua's there but what about Ven..." Terra asked.
During this time.
"Philemon!" Yosuke called out as he, Nico, Sora, Riku and Hsein-ko approached Him, King Mickey and Doctor Strange along with Ayane.
"Ah, Haramura and the persona users that came after 1999, I am gald we could meet face to face."
"Yeah...I guess, anyway, We need some of your power transfer to Sora." Yosuke explained that if the Wild Card could summoned any Persona, that Sora needs that power to summoned the last of the seven lights.
"I wish I could, but right now, I can only allow the Fool to access that power."
"Good thing I'm here." Makoto said aloud as he, Aigis, and Guile arrived to assist the others.
"Sure you want to do this?" Yosuke asked the Fellow Persona summoner.
"Of course, besides we going need any help we can get." Makoto answered confindently.
"All right then. Let's do it Philemon!" Sora exclaimed before Sai'x appeared and attempt to attack the young man.
"No you don't, Isa!" Lea screamed as he attacked his one timed friend with a Keyblade. "Could need some help here!"
"Got it!" Trunks screamed as he and the flame user prevented the fight from reaching Sora.
"Hurry, Makoto, we will protect you!" Aigis demanded as she helped the others.
"Are you ready Makoto?" The small king asked the youth.
"Yes."The bluenette answered as the small mouse aimed his keyblade at the youth's heart, causing a beam of light to allow him to enter Sora's heart.
As the fight with Lea and Isa raged on in the real world, Makoto searched through the boy's heart, which included Sora'd, Namine's, Roxas', and Xion's memories. Until finally...he found a glowing keyhole.
"I think I've found it. Now how to...Huh?" The bluenette asked himself as his sword changed into a keyblade with a black blade, a red stripe with the name of his group that he lead years ago, and the head of Thanatos at the tip.
"Heh...Alright...it's time to free them!" The former SEES Leader said to himself as his keyblade aimed at the strange keyhole that appeared in front of the boy.
Lea's fight.
"Damn...I can't lose here..." The man once named Axel said under his breath as he tried to rise again, only to be attack with Isa's Clay more As the follower of darkness threw Trunks towards a mountain.
"Why won't you surrender, Master Xehanort would allow you to rejoin us..."
"Yeah, like hell I will..." The red head mocked as he attempt to stand.
Suddenly, Yosuke and Labrys joined the older teen and attacked the darkness seeker, only to be swatted away.
"Is that all?" Isa asked as he tried to charged at the defenseless keyblader, only for his blade to meet the metal arm of Aigis, who rose from the ground, sending the enemy backwards.
"You will not reach them...I will make sure of that..." The blonde explained as she aimed her finger guns at the scarred man.
"How can a being without a heart fight for a person that they barely know." The blue haired male somwhat mocked as he pushed the girl out of his way.
"ISA!" Lea screamed as the red head grabbed his friend and prepared to give his own life to stop Isa.
"WHAT ARE DOING, YOU'LL DIE!" The once stoic male cried out
"Yeah, but it's better then letting you monsters win!" as they both lost their lives in a firey explosion.
As the fires cleared, the two fighters lie there as the duo began to fade away in front of Aigis, Trunks and Labrys.
"Why did you...?" The silver haired android asked as watched the young man fade slowly.
"heh, I guess for both my friends...hey, don't cry, I barely know you...but please, tell Ven sorry that I couldn't see him again."
"I'm not cryin' but alright, I'll tell him." Labyrs comfort the man as he finally disappeared.
After he vanished, Makoto returned, much to everyone's surprise as the wild card brought Xion, Roxas, Namine, and finally, Ventus, with him.
"We're Free, wait what about Sora...?" The once nobody asked as Sora, now eqipped with a more normal clothes, arrived to join the fight.
"I'm good, now let's take Xehanort down!" Sora cheered as the others drew various keyblades based of Sora's adventures.
As the group appeared, The fight between Kairi and Max was drawing to a close.
"..." Max said nothing as she began to knee down.
"...It's over, just give up." Kairi asked the young woman much to the dispirited of the 13th vessel.
"Kairi!" Sora yelled as he rejoined his friend.
"Sora, I'm alright!" The red head answered back as Max only stared at the ground with tears in her eyes.
"It's must be nice...You and Sora still have each other...yet, I gave up everything for a second chance with her." The brunette sighed sadly before...
"Hey, Max...DON"T ACT LIKE A DUMBASS!" Her voice echoed from behind her friend, as a girl with blue hair, wearing a white sleeveless shirt that shows her tattoos, Jeans, and a beanie, appeared and punch the would-be assassin.
"C-Chloe?!" Max cried out in confusion as the young woman punched her again.
"Why did you let that old creep take over you?!" Chloe asked her friend as Max just stared, even more confused.
"...He came to me after the feunal, I was weak...!" The brown head tried to explained before the onsluaght of furious punches stopped. As Max opened her eyes, she saw Chole hugging her.
"You're not weak, if it wasn't for you... I might have that same angry little girl who hated everything, Thank you."
"...Chloe..." Max quietly said as the two girls hugged.
Sora and Kairi began to think back when Riku was under Xehanort's control and approached the duo.
"Hey, spiky, I should thank you, you punk." Chloe said to the confused teen.
"Me, how...?" The brown haired teen asked.
"Your heart is a freakin' apartment. You had all those people in there and hell, when I died in my world, I found myself there, if it wasn't for you plan, then Max would've murder you by now."
"Umm speaking of which, sorry..." Max apolgized to the duo.
"You were under Xehanort's control, we had a friend that went through that...So, don't beat yourself up, right Sora?"
"Yeah, it's not a big deal." Sora answered after Kairi reassured the young woman while smiling goofy.
"Wow..., you kinda are a dork, huh?
As the three girls laughed, much to Sora's embressment, Beat arrived to delivered the news of the final fight against Xehanort.
"You guys ready?" The inline skater asked as the five prepared to fight aside the others.
"Let's go!" Sora exclaimed as the five along with the others, prepared to battle Xehanort, who has nearly opened Kingdom Hearts.
At the highest peak of the mountain.
"It's time for the darkness to consume all!" The elder Keyblade master exclaimed to himself before a portal appeared from behind him, revealing a man of pale skin, with blonde slicked hair and wearing black shades with a black long coat to match.
"I see you're about finished with you plan, may I be of any assist? He asked the elder.
"No, I am about finished with my own plans, The False King doesn't matter to me anymore, Wesker."
"Hmm...I see, I shall leave you to own devices, however, if you survive your failure, I will finish you off." Wesker said as he left into the portal and vanished into thin air.
At this time, Sora arrived at the top, now noticing that his enemy now has a wicked version of the X-Blade.
"It's over, Xehanort!"
"So you think, let tell you Sora that might interest your friends." Xehanort said as the sky became much darker, as if a night without any stars, with the only light being Kingdom Hearts pale blue light.
Mark prepared for an attack as Xehanort pointed his finger at the soldier, staring at him with interest.
"What do you want, creep?"
"Hehe, your destiny doesn't involved either Sora or I, even a part of you is fake," The elder male laughed.
"So, even if I am a fake in your twisted mind. We'll take you down!" Mark exclaimed much to everyone's' surprise.
"Whoa, when did you grew a pair!?" Eddie asked as the others thought of a similar question.
"However, I won't allow you to interfere with our fight!" The dark seeker exclaimed as he summoned a wall of darkness preventing the others to enter the battle ground.
"Guys!" Sora cried out as he looked back and noticed the wall of heartless blocking the others access to the mountain top.
"Just take this bastard down!" Kamina cheered as the large group prepared to fight off any enemies that the dark seeker summoned.
Teddie, however, sensed something about the upcoming enemies. "Everyone, I am smelling Shadows here!"
At first confusion took over the others until the foes appeared to be different creatures then the heartless altogether.
"Sora, fight him, we'll be alright!" Guile commanded as the youth prepared his Keyblade.
"Right!" Sora exclaimed as Xehanort pointed his X-Blade at the young man.
Hey everyone, this is the last part of Chapter 12. As for where I've been? some major family stuff happened, but I'm back. Anyway, the final battle between Sora and Xehanort will be in Chapter 13. P.S. Through there are a lot of KH characters in this chapter, not all of them will be in chapters after 13.
