Combined Melody
[Decade 19. 0:38-0:56]
The monster charged, but Will dodged aside as the last second. It didn't work long as the monster turned again and bashed him with the horns, sending him flying back and shouting.
Will rolled and drew another card as the monster roared and fell to its knees.
"Strike Vent"
He caught the dragon gauntlet on his arm and drew it back. He thrust it forward, unleashing a stream of fire into the monster, but it didn't stop, it plowed into Will.

Will rolled as the monster roared and stumbled, before throwing him over its back.
[Decade 19. 1:09-1:11]
It began to run again.
[Decade 19. 1:17-1:18]
It continued to move forward.
[Decade 19. 1:24-1:27]
It roared and charged.

Will was on the ground, still as Dragon Knight, backing away.
Rebecca and Ted moved forward and held out belts similar to their masters. They thrust both forward and shouted, "Power Ride!"
"What are you doing?" Michael shouted in his human form.
"You two are injured," his sister responded, "And someone needs to help Will!"
"You two aren't ready to fight something like that!" Jason shouted.
"You trained us," Ted responded, "That makes us ready."
Wind and lightning erupted around the two as they activated their belts.
[Decade 19. 1:37-1:38]
They cast their elements aside as their forms finished.
[Decade 19. 1:43-1:50]
As Ted was pushed back, Rebecca ran for the monster and kicked it. Both tried to restrain it, but it was too strong.
[Decade 19. 1:53-2:05]
Will lifted a card, "I said I wouldn't use this, but I need his power."
He swiped it and transformed into Axe Rail. He stretched out a bit.
[Decade 19. 3:25-3:52]
They ran at each other and collided. Will held him back for a bit, groaning with his exerted strength. Will was thrown and drew a card.
He swiped it and glowed before reaming his arms into the monster's head, keeping it at bay until he was thrown aside with a shout.
The other two Riders ran past him with their weapons in hand and struck at the monster.
Ted rammed his guitar into the monster while Rebecca inserted her belt piece. Both called their attack names.
"Wind Melody!"

"Lightning Quake!"
[Decade 19. 3:58-4:07]
They both played their instruments. The monster roared.
[Decade 19. 4:08-4:09]
The monster was thrown back.
[Decade 19. 4:10-4:12]
The monster roared and stumbled away.

Will leaned against a tree in his normal form, "They did it…"

The students returned to their teachers in their human forms.
"You two did it…," Michael said.
"I'm proud of you, Ted," Jason said, putting a hand on his student's shoulder. He looked at Rebecca, "You too, of course."
She nodded.
"Just what was that thing though?" Ted questioned, "It was like no Wild I've ever seen."
"I think Andrew can answer that," Ian said, helping Andrew at his side.
"Ian?" Mina questioned.
Ian nodded, "Been a while." He helped Andrew to stand on his own, who then walked to his comrades.
"I encountered a powerful Wild Spirit," Andrew said, "It was switching between a physical form, and a shadow form. I destroyed it after it attacked Ian, but…but something happened. It possessed me and birthed that Wild from my powers." He held up his belt buckle, "I think it's feeding on my power, on Echo's power."
"So, what do we do then?" Michael asked, "If it's part of you, then what happens if we destroy it?"
"I don't know," Andrew admitted, "It might damage my power, it might do nothing. I don't know."
"What would you have us do?" Jason asked.
"Destroy it," Andrew said with no hesitation.
"You have no student," Jason said.
"I know," Andrew said, "But I have faith that everything will turn out."
At night the group sat around a fire. Ian remained with them.
"I don't know what I can do in the battle with that beast," Ian said, "I can't purify it with Legend's power. Something like that needs purification, after all."
Andrew nodded, "If it weakens me, hopefully purifying it can restore all of my power." He looked at his belt buckle, which he held before himself.
"Do you want to try to transform?" Will asked. "You know, test it?"
Andrew shook his head, "No. Not unless I absolutely have to. I don't want to risk something going wrong."
"I understand that," Mina said, "But still, what if you need it?"
"We're here in case something happens," Jason said, "Sure, Michael and I may be wounded from various fights, but our students can apparently handle themselves."
"You taught us well," Ted said.
"And if nothing else, my summons aren't real," James said, "Well, Pemon was. Anyway, I might be able to summon one of you guys, or a copy, I guess." He shrugged, "I never tried to summon a duplicate of someone who was already around."
"James and I can fight and hold it at bay until it can be purified," Will said.
"Ted and I already hit it with our purifications," Rebecca said, "It fled."
"So, what do you think that means?" James asked.
"I don't know," she said.
"I don't think any of us do," Andrew said, "We've never encountered anything like this, after all."
Will stared into the fire, "I wonder if this is what I have to help you guys overcome in order to gain Echo's power." He looked up, "Andrew. If we fight together, I'm sure we can win. That's how it's always worked before."
Andrew nodded and looked warily at his belt, "Ok…when the time comes, we'll try it."
James, Rebecca, and Michael moved through the forest.
Meanwhile, Ted, Jason and Ian moved through another.
Andrew, Will and Mina moved together as well.
"What if we find it?" Will asked Andrew, "You don't want to transform, and I can't purify it."
"I'll transform if this is the case," Andrew said, "It needs to be purified, after all."
Mina reached out and touched Andrew's shoulder, "Maybe I can help?"
"Do you think your powers will work on me?" Andrew asked, "They didn't work on the Wild Spirits."
"I might be able to feel the power you have within you," she said, "That's my idea."
"There's a stream up ahead," Andrew said, "We'll stop there, and then you can do what you want."
She nodded, "Ok."
The group moved and came out at the stream. Andrew sat down and Mina crouched at his side, putting her hand on his head and closing her eyes.
"I feel power inside of you," she said softly, "I imagine that's Echo's power."
He held the buckle in his hand, "And this? Do you feel power in this?"
She touched it with her other hand, "Yes. The power resonates when you touch the buckle." She opened her eyes, "I think you're fine, Andrew."
"I hope so."
Will sat down beside him, "Andrew, how did you come to be a part of this?" Will asked. "You said you were well organized and stuff, that's how you were able to take control over this park for people's safety. I mean, what's your story?"
"My story?" Andrew asked, "I was born and raised in this area. As a kid I loved this place, I loved exploring the woods and this entire beautiful place. My parents often lost track of me because I kept sneaking off to come here.
"Of course, I knew that I was only allowed to go at certain times. I listened to the people here, the Riders of the past. I knew to respect my elders. I didn't know why I was only allowed to go in sometimes, but I listened.
"Well, one day I was angry with my parents and ran off into these woods. I knew I wasn't supposed to be here at that time, but I didn't care. Well, I got lost. I knew these woods so well. I knew the trails, I knew the landmarks, but I couldn't find anything. It was like I kept going in a circle and I couldn't get out.
"Well, I saw the crimson eyes of a giant spider. Well, not giant. It was about the size of a horse."
"Giant compared to a normal spider," Mina said.
He nodded, "Exactly. It came for me, and I ran, but I kept finding myself back at the spider. It was doing something, and it wanted to eat me. I couldn't get away, and then someone came and attacked the spider.
"His armor is like mine, but it was white and purple. He was the man who would become my teacher. He made me want to protect others, and to protect the sanctity of this forest. I became his student in drum style and became Echo when I was eighteen. I fought alongside my mentor for a while, but he retired a few years ago.
"I took over, and now I'm the sole drum style Rider in this forest. It's my duty to eventually take up a student and pass the style on, but not yet. I'm waiting for the right person to come along."
"Someone like you?" Will asked.
Andrew smiled and nodded, "Yeah. Someone like me. Someone who truly loves this place, someone who might be a mischievous child who I can help mold into something better."
"Good luck," Will told him, "I'm sure you'd be a great teacher."
Andrew smiled, "I'd like to think that."
James and Rebecca were talking while Michael led on.
"So, you're really observant, aren't you?" she asked James
He nodded, "Very. It's how I get by. I was at Golden Grove after all, and intelligence is only part of that."
Michael stopped and turned back, "You still have my scroll."
He held it up, "I do. I also have Jason's, and at the fire I swiped Andrew's." He pulled the other two scrolls out.
"Why would you do that?" Michael questioned.
He shrugged, "I got bored."
"You steal when you're bored?" Michael questioned.
"No, I play games," he said, "Besides; I wanted to see if I could do it without being noticed. I aim to impress."
"Probably not the best way to impress Michael," Rebecca told James.
James shrugged, "I'd like to say they make for interesting reading, but I can't read Japanese."
"Some of our power and themes are based on ancient Japanese, primarily mythology," Michael said, "The scrolls being in Japanese are a part of that."
"Can any of you read them?" James asked.
"My master taught me what they say," he said, "I can read those, but that's it. Give me anything else in Japanese and I'd be lost."
"So, what does it say then?" James questioned.
"It's symbolic of one of three," he told James.
"Meaning?"
"As I've told my sister, you'll need to figure it out," Michael said.
"Did you?" James asked Rebecca.
"No," she said, "Well, somewhat."
"What does that mean?" he asked.
"It means that nobody knows exactly what it means," Michael said, "We all have our own assumptions, but if any of them are right, who knows?"
James nodded and pocketed the three scrolls.
"You giving those back?" Michael asked.
"I'll hold onto them for now," he said.
As the trio remained sitting there, they heard a roar. Everyone rose to their feet and turned.
[Decade 19. 13:00-13:02]
There was an eruption of purple fire and then the monster stood there.

Andrew moved forward with Will.
[Decade 19. 13:14-13:19]
"You are a part of me," Andrew said as the beast growled, "I will purify you and restore order!" The monster threw its head back and roared while Andrew spoke.

"Andrew, Mina, get back," Will said, "I'll fight it and try to weaken it. Andrew, purify it when it's weak."
Andrew nodded and grabbed Mina, pulling her away.
"Power Ride!" Will shouted, slashing his card through his belt. He closed it.
Magenta light and barcodes flew around his body.
[Decade 19. 13:26-13:28]
His armor completed.

Mina and Andrew retreated into the woods and turned back to watch.
[Decade 19. 13:32-13:33]
Will grabbed the monster and struggled with it, shouting with exertion.
[Decade 19. 13:50-13:59]
The monster plowed Will through the woods until he broke free and tried to strike it, but was overpowered and knocked away.

Andrew ran from Mina and drew his belt out. He crouched down and picked up a rock, throwing it. He heard the beast growl.
[Decade 19. 14:07-14:09]
Will turned, "Andrew! What are you doing?"

"Giving you an opening! Go!"
Will turned and fired a few shots with his blaster, then holstered it and ran forward.
[Decade 19. 14:12-14:17]
The beast had fallen, but was getting up. Will struck it back and continued to kick it.
[Decade 19. 14:32-14:34]
They continued to strike each other and shout.
[Decade 19. 14:40-14:43]
The beast tried to ram Will and knocked him back.
[Decade 19. 15:03-15:09]
The monster knocked will back and then turned.
"Run you two!" Will shouted, pointing.

Mina looked at Andrew, "We should go."
"No…," Andrew said, "I won't run, not from a beast born of my own powers!"
A cyan light flashed through the trees as Ender leapt out, shouting as he fired.
[Decade 19. 15:28-15:31 (note: edit in lasers)]
The beast was knocked back by Ender's shots.

"Andrew! If you're going to fight, then fight!" James told him, lifting his blaster to his shoulder, "The others are on their way. If you want to destroy your corrupted powers, then I'd recommend you hurry. The others won't hesitate to fight, but don't you want to be the one to save your power?"
Andrew looked at his belt and back at James, "This is my responsibility," he said, stepping forward, "Not anyone else's. James, please, stay back." He thrust his belt forward, "And keep the others from interfering. I will reclaim my powers myself!"
"Good," James said, backing away a bit alongside Mina.
"Power Ride!"
Flames erupted around his waist as he slammed his buckle down. The belt formed.
[Decade 19. 16:03-16:09]
Purple fire erupted around his body. He threw his arm out, casting it away.
[Decade 19. 16:10-17:40]
The beast roared and ran.
Andrew stood in front of James and clenched his fist, "Here I go…" He ran forward.
He grabbed the beast and punched it multiple times until it fell. It came back up and growled.
"I'll purify you," Andrew told the beast. "I'll make you mine again, and purge that dark spirit!"
The beast threw its arms out and growled, then ran forward. It crashed into Andrew, who tried to hold on, but fell.
It charged again, glancing Andrew, then crashed into him with the next attack.
Will ran in and kicked the monster, while James ran from behind and tried to grab it.
James threw it back and both men drew cards and loaded them.
"Blast Attack"
Both fired a series of rapid blasts, knocking the beast back.
"Andrew!" Will said, "Now's your chance! You can purify the beast and restore your powers to full!"
The beast began to rise and growl.
"I'll use my power and defeat it!" Andrew shouted, drawing his drumsticks and then ran forward. The two clashed until the beast fell.
Andrew rammed his buckle into the beast's chest and drew his sticks back.
"Burning Beat!"
He began to drum on the monster, unleashing his purifying beat.
[Decade 19. 17:42-17:49]
The beast growled as the play continued. Its face began to glow.
[Decade 19. 17:52-17:54]
Andrew drew back and shouted, but stopped.
[Decade 19. 18:10-18:30]
"The end!" Andrew called, finishing it. "Purify…," Andrew said softly.
The other two Riders watched as the spirit exploded.
"Got him…," Andrew said, then the ground exploded and a giant crab monster rose. The Riders stumbled back, shouting.
[Decade 19. 18:36-18:41]
The crab moved quickly, smashing the three aside with a claw.

"What is that thing?" Mina questioned as she moved behind a tree.
"It's a dark spirit," Ted said as the other Riders approached, "Something ancient and powerful."
"Andrew believed there was something else hiding in these forests," Jason said, "I would assume this is it."
"We need to fight," Rebecca said.
Michael nodded, "This may take us all."
Rebecca and Ted ran forward, away from their teachers, throwing their belts down, "Power Ride!"
[Decade 19. 18:47-19:08]
They ran out of the lightning and wind as the Riders tried to shoot the monster. Rebecca joined the shooting while they tried to help Andrew up.
James held the scrolls up, "I've got it," he said.
"What?" Will questioned.
"The meaning behind the scrolls," he said, tossing them up. He shot them.
The crab continued to attack as pieces of the scrolls fell, showing three emblems and some Japanese kanji.

Jason smiled, "Some good finally came from those scrolls."
Michael nodded, "All this time it felt like a worthless piece of paper I had to carry around and then assume a meaning towards. Glad he destroyed it."
"What does it mean?" Mina asked.
"Unity," Jason said. "Each one is one of three, and whether he's right or not, he's found a meaning. A combined melody of three."
"Right or not, I like it," Michael said.
[Decade 19. 19:11-19:54]
"The three melodies should combine to purify the greatest darkness," Andrew told Will.
"Got it," Will said, opening his book. He looked at the three cards as detail came to them. "Fantastic," he said, swiping one.
As the crab attacked, Will touched Andrew's back, "Go and fight!"
He shifted into a giant bird-like creature and flew into the crab while the other Riders attacked it.
Andrew dropped the monster onto its back, leaving it stuck on the ground, legs in the air.
Will slotted another card. Andrew fell, becoming a giant buckle which imbedded itself in the monster's underbelly.
Will leapt onto it, holding drumsticks in hand. He began to beat as the crab let out a screech.

James shot, taking down a claw.
Ted leapt on, impaling a limb with his guitar. He began to play.
[Decade 19. 20:08-20:15 note: cut out brief shot of Decade with the different background, around 20:11)]
Rebecca shot red stones into the monster and began to play.
[Decade 19. 20:18-20:21]
The three continued to play.
[Decade 19. 20:22-20:25]
James flipped two blue drumsticks up and an energy icon appeared in front of him. He swung.
[Decade 19. 20:26-20:30]
As he beat it, energy flew forward with the other melodies.

"They're not doing it," Jason muttered.
"Then let's add to the melody," Michael said, lifting his buckle.
Jason smiled and lifted his, "Yeah. Let's go!"
Both ran forward, shouting, "Power Ride!" They transformed as they ran, but wore no helmets.
[Decade 19. 20:38-20:43 (note: add some blur to Jason's face if need be)]
Jason helped from a distance, while Michael was near his student, also helping from a distance. They continued to play.
[Decade 19. 20:52-20:54]
The team continued to play.
[Decade 19. 20:59-21:11]
They continued and then Will rose both sticks and beat down, destroying the monster.
He and Andrew landed next to each other. The Riders stood together.

Will held up Echo's cards, "Our journey is over," he said, looking at Andrew, "Thank you."
"No, thank you," he said, "You helped destroy the dark spirit, and also helped us purge the evil from this forest. For that, you have our thanks."
"Does that mean that the Wild Spirits will remain docile?" Mina asked.
Andrew shook his head, "No. That crab spirit was powerful, and no doubt tied to the dark spirit that got me. If anything, it prompted spirits to act when they shouldn't have, such as those cat spirits. Now things should be normal."
"Well, not normal," Michael said, putting a hand on his sister's shoulder, "Our students have more than proven themselves."
Jason nodded, "Yes they have. Things will need to change with them."
"Will you seek a student?" James asked Andrew.
The man shook his head, "No. At least not for now. That spirit corrupted my powers, but that means something was inside of me to begin with. I need to learn more, and find peace with it. Only then will I feel comfortable with a student."
"Knowing you, you're not finding a student anytime soon then," Ian commented.
"I could always train you," Andrew told him.
Ian shook his head and smiled, "I'm afraid that would make me far too powerful then."
Will looked at Ian, then shook his head a little as he screwed his eyes shut. He put the cards away and shook Andrew's hand, "Thank you for everything," he told Andrew.
Andrew smiled, "Good luck. I will always be willing to help you."
Will nodded. He and Mina began to walk off, while James stood with Rebecca, "Well, I'll see you again. Someday," he told her.
She nodded, "I look forward to it."
James smiled and left her, heading off with the other two.
"Now what?" Mina asked Will.
"We're going home," he said, "We're going to reclaim our home."
"So, the Legacy System is complete," Apollo hissed as the man walked through a dark room. He held his helmet in hand and drew it up to look at it, "Well then, I guess things must be done."
"Do you believe that Legacy is a threat?" another man asked.
Apollo shook his head, "No. Of course not. But still, we must stop him. He has power, he has allies. The allies are what I fear most."
"Then shall I see to the Shadow Project?" the man asked.
Apollo nodded, "Deploy the Shadow Project. Crush Legacy and make him regret ever opposing the Dynasty!"
The man stepped forward. He was older and dressed in a black business suit with black shirt and white tie. He snapped his fingers and four more people came forward.
Drake.
Ryan.
Rob.
Tyler.
All of them were dressed in black. All of their eyes flashed crimson for a brief moment.
"The Shadow Project," the man said, moving to stand at their side. His eyes flashed red as well, "We're all here."
"Good," Apollo said, "Crush those three and make them regret standing against us."
