Author Note: Oh my god... I am soooo sorry... I haven't updated in forever! DX I have to make this up some how... Well, I might as well explain myself in a few words: Divergent, The Mortal Instruments, High School, Drama, More Drama, Even More Drama, Low access to computer. I have a feeling that half of you have forgotten about this DX I just remembered the poll when I was sitting on Mother's phone (My phone committed suicide) and went and checked it. Chapter 20

Not Again

Dani's PoV

Ugh... I don't wanna get up... I rolled over, groaning. Monday's here again. I'm sore from training with the team and I don't feel like going to school for once. There was banging on the door and I groaned.

"Dani! Get up and get ready for school!" Jazz called though the door.

"Kay." I call, flopping off the bed, falling onto the floor face down. The door opened and Jazz's had popped in.

"Dani?" She asked as she looked to the bed and then looked down at me and giggled. "What are you doing down there, Dani?"

"Suffering." I replied shortly, lifting my head to watch her roll her eyes.

"We all are sore from yesterday, little sis." She smiled as she crossed her arms. "Be ready to go within fifteen minutes." With that she exited the room and I sat up, huffing. Once I got to my feet, I went over to my closet and pulled out the nearest shirt, a short sleeve ice blue shirt with sheer back that would let you see though it to my back. I huffed once again and pulled out the nearest tank top, a neon green one.

"Kay then. I don't need to match." With that I went over to my dresser and got some of my other essentials and then a pair of black jeans. After throwing the clothes on the bed, I changed into my ghost form. I immediately shed my suit and then put on my chosen clothes. I grabbed some lip gloss with some eye liner and mascara and went and applied my make-up as I heard Danny call my name from the bottom of the stairs. "I'm coming." I grumbled as I tossed my make-up on my bed and grabbed my bag and walked out the door and down the stairs. I heard Danny chuckle as I came into his view.

"Tired, Sis?" I looked up and shot him a glare which made him laugh more so I walked past him and to the kitchen where Jazz sat sipping coffee leaning against the counter.

"Ready to go you two?" She asked, taking another sip of coffee. I nodded, not bothering to look back to see Danny nod. She chuckled and walked out the door, I followed closely behind her with Danny a few feet behind us. We got to the car and I slid into the front seat, ignoring Danny's whining about not getting shotgun. I rested my head against the window, trying to get a bit more sleep before school.

The ride to school was quiet and uneventful but when I got to school, the hope that my day would be somewhat bare able went down the toilet. I walked into school right as the bell rang, thus earning me a detention which I didn't want to serve tomorrow, Cass was sick today so it was just Levi and I and he kept asking me what was it that Danny won't let me tell him, my muscles were sore, Vanessa was pestering me about sitting with her at lunch (Ugh, even if I did insult her dozens of times, she keeps trying to collect info on Danny), I got more work in History because Mrs. Reid caught me with my head down on my desk with my eyes closed even if I wasn't asleep and then I slipped on a wet spot on the floor and face planted into my lunch. Boy was I tired by the time that art finally came around.

I walked into class with Speck sitting on my shoulder, I don't know when she got there but still. I walked over to my seat and sat down after having a small exchange of hello's with Ms. P. I watched and listened as she explained a new project that we're working on, a big paper-mache sculpture that is covered in pictures that describe us. We would choose a symbol for like a product, hero, store or some other thing that we like. She made it quite clear that only one person in the class will get certain symbol. Everyone started talking about what they were gonna do at once so the headache I have grew even more.

"I am sooo doing Danny Phantom's symbol!" I heard Vanessa squeak excitedly to her little followers. "I'll get him to pose in a picture with me so that I can put it on there too!" She was on the table beside me with a girl named Felicity who was a dirty blonde girl with boring grey eyes that follows Vanessa around like a little lost puppy but doesn't really do much bullying, Delilah; another girl with bleach blonde hair(obviously dyed) and dark brown eyes who dates anything with a face, and Josh who looked like he wanted to kill himself instead of listening to Vanessa anymore... Huh.

"Ugh, what a brat." A boy next to me mutter... Jayden was his name? Well, he has light brown hair with evergreen colored eyes. I smiled lightly for the first time today with a chuckle as Lauren, a girl with black hair with neon green tips and blue eyes, nodded in agreement. I looked up at Lauren.

"Hey... weren't you the girl who drew me and Danny together for the pastel project?" She looked up at me with a small smile and a light blush at being noticed.

"Yeah... You guys are really awesome together." I smiled more as Ms. P called back the attention of the class.

"Now, you all are going to have to choose a symbol-" a few girls started calling out 'Phantom's symbol!' "-but you are not allowed to choose Danny Phantom's insignia." All the girls groaned and I chuckled. The art teacher looked over at me and thought over something. "Except for you Dani, you can do your own symbol because it does describe you."

"Yes!" I started sketching my project out as Jayden and Lauren brainstormed ideas for theirs. They eventually came up with the Angelic Power Rune for the Mortal Instruments which is Lauren's favorite book series and the Xbox symbol for Jayson because he is a complete and utter gamer. They went and told the teacher as I continued my drawing. My drawing was complete by the end of the hour and I got up to go show Ms. P.

I remembered my picture I took of Sam and Danny and with a smirk, I walked over to Vanessa. She looked up at me with a overly happy smile.

"Danielle! Have you finally gained sense and are going to accept my offer to join the junior A-list?" I rolled my eyes.

"I had enough sense to not join it. I have a pair of friends that will be there for me and like me for being me, not for being the sister of Danny. I suggest you get the idea out of your head because I'm never joining you group." I held out my phone for her to see the picture that looked just like my pastel picture... well, except for the dress. "I just wanted to show you this." She looked at the picture, you could almost see the steam coming out of her ears.

"That's fake." She growled looking at the picture and I smiled sweetly.

"No, it's real. I also would like to add that you should stop chasing after my brother and go for someone who could ever love you. Good luck." Lauren, Jayden and, surprisingly, Josh snickered. The bell rang not a second afterward and I walked out of the room as fast as I could. Remembering that Speck was asleep in my hair, I reached up and petted her.

"Dani!" Groaning, I turned and faced the person that just called out my name.

"Yes Josh?" He got near me and rubbed his palm with his other thumb as he looked away for a bit before looking back at me, is he nervous?

"Um... I wanted to apologize about what happened at my birthday party..." He said looking down at his hands. I raised my eyebrow, this was very unexpected... "I purposely tried to make you angry at me that day..." He added hesitantly.

"Why?" I asked, crossing my arms. Why the heck would he try to make me angry at him and hate him?

"Because I didn't want to be Paulina's tool." He said, looking up at me with his aqua eyes that were so similar to the queen biotch of the high school. I was confused, Paulina was trying to use him?

He must have seen my confusion because he added. "To get close to you so she could to try getting closer to your bother." I should have expected that.

"Oh." Was all I said, stupidly enough.

Josh took in a deep breathe. "I don't want to act the way I do, it's just that my sister forces me to be like this because 'I'm a Sanchez and Sanchez's need to rule the school!'" He said, mimicking Paulina's voice which caused me to laugh. He looked up at me with a slightly hopeful expression. "I wanted to ask you if we could maybe start over again?"

I eyed him suspiciously. "How do I know that this isn't another one of your sister's plans?" He groaned.

"Would have I told you about her plan in the first place if this was part of her plan?" He had a point...

"I suppose we could start over... but you need to stop picking on people because they like something you don't." I added crossing my arms. He looked away.

"Truth be told, I like half the stuff that I pick on others about... I actually like drawing and reading more then playing football..." Wow... Star quarterback of the middle school would rather read and do art then play be out on the field. I smiled and nodded.

"Okay, we'll start over tomorrow morning then." He grinned.

"You probably might wanna hurry before you're late for class, bye Dani." He said and then ran down the hall to his next class. I watched him go, thinking about what just happened and then glanced at the clock that was on the wall of the hallway a few feet away, reading that I had about 30 seconds to get to class.

"Ah Shiznitz!" I turned and sprinted to my class.

The rest of the day went pretty fast but I was still sore and had a pounding headache and just wanted to walk home without anyone following or bugging me. I walked to my locker and grabbed my bag and packed up my homework and other stuff that I needed. After locking my locker up, I walked down the hallway trying to avoid running into Levi, Josh or Vanessa. I walked out of the back exit of the school which no one used and without checking my surroundings, I changed back to Dani Fenton to walk home.

"D-Dani?" I froze as I regonized the voice.

Not again...

Author Note: THAT TOOK FOREVER! I started replying to the reviews on Thanksgiving and then started brainstorming for a few months and then for three days straight when ever I was on the computer I was typing this. I'm sorry it took so long, I'm writing on inspiration here... NOW! I want ideas for OC's like for Sam's cousin!
