"Why aren't you excited? Or at least reacting? This is big news!"

Loki let out an exasperated sigh, leaning back on his chair dramatically.

"Is it? I hadn't noticed."

"It's not every day your brother proposes to my best friend!"

"He might as well have with how he was acting ever since her return. Now, would you get on with it and explain why you've decided to bring this up? You've known me long enough now to have expected an indifferent reaction from me, so you must have some ulterior motive for telling me your 'big news.'"

"Okay, you caught me," Darcy admitted, smiling sheepishly. "I'm throwing a bachelorette party for Jane and I was wondering if you wanted to join us?"

"I know that I am still rather...naive to the ways of Midgard, but I am almost certain bachelorette parties were meant for women," Loki said slowly.

"Not necessarily. After all, we haven't booked the entertainment yet."

Judging by the feral grin on her face, Loki was sure he didn't want to know what she meant by "entertainment."

AN: I'm sure we all know what Darcy meant by entertainment. If you don't... That's probably for the best. The proposal thing might seem like it came out of nowhere, but since this is after Avengers, so a lot could have happened. I was gonna have the actual scene where Thor proposed, but I couldn't think of anything. If I do, I'll add it onto the next chapter as an extra.

You know, I can't help but feel I've hit rock bottom. Seriously, I'm updating this at a McDonald's. I need my wifi back!

Thanks for all the reviews last chapter. It was awesome.
