Kelly picked up the phone that sat on the passenger seat, dialling the last number called, held it to her ear and listened to the ring.
Vasile Comescu looked down at his phone when he heard it ring as he walked out of an old warehouse. 'Anton' he greeted. 'Did you find him?'
'He didn't find him. He found me, Kelly' she answered casually.
'Vasile stopped walking 'Mrs Callen' he greeted. 'Can I speak with Anton?'
'Anton's not able to make it to the phone right now' she informed the man. Your family's getting smaller Vasile. How many cousins, you have left?'
'Let me talk to him'
'No'
'Let me talk to your husband'
'No! Kelly angrily said as she bit the inside corner of her bottom lip 'I have someone you want. You have someone I want'
'I need to know that he is alive'
'You'll know when we meet'
Vasile sighed 'No exchange until I know he's alive'
'How bout I just shoot him and you send another cousin to come find us' Kelly suggested as she ended the call, throwing the cell onto the seat beside her.
Vasile Comescu looked at his phone and thought about the conversation he had just had, if Kelly Callen was talking to him that meant that her husband G Callen had done something to his cousin, and he couldn't let that happen.
Kelly sighed; she hoped to hell that Vasile would return the call.
At hearing her phone ring, Kelly picked it up and looked at the caller ID; she waited a few minutes before answering the call.
'Did you run out of cousins Vasile?' Kelly answered sarcastically as she placed the phone to her ear.
'South Central and Ninth. Call me when you get there'

'I just got a hit on the number Sam gave me. Two calls several seconds apart' Eric informed Nell as he looked at the computer screen in Ops.
Nell walked over to him, looking over his shoulder at the screen herself and absorbed the information that she read 'Means whoever is using the phone isn't moving. I'll call Sam' she concluded as she moved to her own work station and picked up the phone.

Pulling up at the destination given to her Kelly called Vasile
'Yes'
'I'm at south central and Ninth' Kelly informed.
'Drive east for two blocks. Turn right. Drive for four blocks then turn left into the first side street' Vasile instructed.
At hearing the directions, Kelly hung up the phone and began to drive again.

'Sam, we've just had another call. Same cell tower, strong signal. 'Id say four block radius' Eric informed the Agent from Ops.
'How far out are Kensi and Deeks?' Sam inquired as he drove towards his destination.
'Three minutes behind you'

Kelly slowed her car down as she turned into the alley and saw a group of men waiting for her. Turning off the ignition she closed her eyes and swallowed in fear. Reopening her eyes she got out of the car and stood in front of the bonnet, as she did she raised her hands in front of her to show the men she was not armed.
'Search her' Vasile told one of his men.
The man walked forward and walked behind Kelly where he placed his hands on her shoulders and began to frisk her.
His hands went to her back and they lowered, with one hand staying on her butt longer than necessary. Kelly moved her hips forward in disgust and the hand moved and as it did it pulled out a gun she had in her back pocket.
Vasile looked at her 'Where is your husband'
That was the moment Kelly realised that Vasile didn't know about her son and she sighed internally happy. 'I don't know'
'Liar!' shouted an angry Vasile.
'Do you really think he would send me here by myself' Kelly said angrily. 'Vasile I don't know where he is, if I did I wouldn't be here. He would be, ready to kill you'
Vasile looked at the woman in front of him and measured her up 'Your telling the truth' he concluded.
'Yes!' agreed Kelly. 'Where's his father?'
'Anton first'
Kelly played with the keys in her hand, giving herself a little bit of time, after a few seconds she tossed the keys towards Vasile, who caught them with ease. 'He's in the boot' Kelly told him as he tossed the keys onto the man who had frisked her.
The man walked to the back of the car, as Kelly looked at the other men.
The men clicked the car key and it beeped to indicate the boot had been unlocked, as it did the car exploded. Kelly ducked as the explosion took place and grabbed the gun she had gaffer taped under the car. Pulling it out she was on her back and leaned up, aiming for Vasile, shooting him in the shoulder.
As Vasile went down Kelly got up off the ground and ran behind a car.
At hearing an explosion, Sam drove faster as Granger contacted Kensi and Deeks.

Crouching behind a car, Kelly raised her gun and shot one of Comescu's men. She then turned and fired in the other direction.
The car which Kelly had been driving exploded in full force and the force of the explosion sent Kelly flying into the air and flung her upper body into a brick wall beside her and landed on her side. She groaned in pain as she rolled over onto her back.
Sam sped into the ally at high speed, then men that Kelly had not hit opened fire on the car that was coming towards them, with a bullet hitting Granger. Sam swerved the car in hope of missing the bullets, but crashed the car into a barrier, in turn the car rolled onto its roof trapping both men inside.
Gaining her bearings, Kelly pushed away the pain that was radiating from her shoulder and army crawled her way out from behind the car. Once back on the road she went to reach for a gun that was laying an arm's reach in front of her but was stopped by Comescu who put his foot on her arm, she groaned in pain and placed her head on the ground in defeat. She felt two men grab her under her arms, one at each side, dragging her on her knees; they dragged her a few meters and stopped. Looking up she found herself in front of a man she had seen in photographs only a day earlier.
'Tell her who you are' ordered Vasile.
'My name is Nikita Alexander Reznikov. I am your husband's father'
Kelly looked at the man in front of her stunned. Then she heard a gun go off and watched as Reznikov fell to the ground in front of her with two bullet holes in him as blood splattered on Kelly's shirt.
Kelly looked down at the man in front of her, her face pale, she felt sick. She had just witnessed a man be executed in front of her. And not just any man - her husband's father.
Still being held under her arms, Comescu walked toward her, he clicked the gun and Kelly looked at him distressed. She knew what was coming, she had a flashback in her mind to years previous when she was in Mexico and Jason Paul Dean stood over her. But this time was different; her dad wasn't here to save her. She swallowed and looked at Comescu in fear. She squinted her eyes closed and waited.

She heard a gunshot and opened them to see Sam Hanna firing his weapon; she got out of the man's grip and tackled Comescu to the ground.
'Kelly' called Sam.
Kelly looked at Sam who tossed her a gun, catching it she turned and faced Vasile and shot him dead.
'Kensi, Deeks' shouted Sam when all was clear, making sure the Jr agent and Detective were OK.
'I'm up' called Deeks.
'I'm up' confirmed Kensi.

Kelly walked over to the older man to check his status. She rolled him over gently to find him gasping for breath. Kelly leaned over the man and down upon realising he wanted to tell her something, placing her ear near his mouth.
'Tell him the debt is paid' he whispered.
She turned her head and looked at the man and watched the man gasp his last breath. A tear slid down her cheek and she looked up to find Sam watching her. She stood up and embraced the man. The man gave her a tight hug, she felt pain in her shoulder but she didn't care. She was safe, she was alive.
'Promise me, you will never go rouge again' Sam quietly told her.
'I promise. Thanks for having my back Sam'
'Always Kelly G. Always'

Kelly looked across at Callen to find he was looking at her, his eyes big and sad. 'I know this is going to sound dumb' she began quietly. 'But I thought you would have showed up. I thought somehow you heard the Comescu's were in LA and it wasn't Sam that had my back, it was you. You shot Vasile. I thought you might have been like Batman and had a bat signal or you were Spiderman and your spidey senses were telling your something was wrong'
Callen remained silent as he watched Kelly get up from where she was sitting and watched her pull a small brown rectangular box out of her jacket pocket.
'Deeks found this and gave it to me. I don't know what's on it, I've never watched it' Kelly declared as she passed it to Callen who accepted it rolled it over in his hands a few times.
'Watch it with me?' he asked quietly as he looked at Kelly sadly.
Kelly nodded her head.
With a white sheet hung up in a doorway in the boatshed both Kelly and Callen sat on the old couch and silently watched as the movie came to life. Callen with a confused look on his face when he saw a man pushing a little girl on a swing.
After a few minute Callen placed his hands up to his mouth and gasped quietly, realising that it was his father and his little sister Amy.
Realisation dawned on Kelly as well as she looked up to roof as she felt tears in her eyes. She rested a hand on Callen's thigh for reassurance. Callen placed his hand on top of hers and squeezed.
Callen paused the movie when it had finished. His eyes were shiny.
Kelly stood up and as she did she wiped a stray tear away as it rolled down her cheek. She walked towards the door, turning when she felt a hand on her forearm. She looked to find Callen.
'Stay' he asked sadly; pleading.
Kelly shook her head 'I can't'
Still holding her arm, Callen lent in and kissed his wife. Kelly started to melt into the kiss but pulled back.
'I can't' and with that she left the boatshed.
