"What?" I asked.
"Lover, you don't have to come to the wedding" he panted out.
"Don't worry, I am not planning on going. It would kill me to see you getting married to someone who wasn't me" I said, slightly sadly.
"Lover, I stand by what I said before. We don't have to be together to raise this baby" he replied.
"You do. It's not fair to the baby to have to grow up in a broken home" I answered, before leaning up to give Eric a kiss on the lips, and then I turned to walk away.
"I love you, Sookie. I always will" he said.
"I love you too" I answered, and then pulled up the courage to walk away, before I buckled and ended up staying with him.

After the completely awkward situation with Sookie went down at the restaurant, things very quickly went back to normal with Felicia off trying to get things sorted out for the wedding, and me simply working as hard as I could so that I would be able to take the time off for the wedding, and the honeymoon that was coming after it.
Although, I knew it in myself that I really had been working far too hard – and all of the numbers on the page of paperwork in front of me were all starting to get jumbled. However, a quick look at the clock told me that I had been working on the jot for 5 hours straight, without any kind of a break.
It really was little wonder everything was starting to become more and more jumbled.
Which is why – at 1 am in the morning, whenever I decided it would be a good idea to get a glass of milk before heading off to bed, that I thought that I was going crazy whenever I spotted the "Copyright Google Images" stamp down the side of copy of the supposed ultrasound scan that I currently had taped to my fridge.
Hmmm…I decided that it would be a good idea to leave it to figure out in the morning, whenever I was a little more lucid.
However, whenever the morning came the feeling that something was wrong, was still there in the pits of my stomach, set off by the fact that the ultrasound image had said "Copyright Google Images"
In fact, I had been so sure that I had been dreaming when I thought I had saw it, I had made myself check the fridge this morning, only to find that I hadn't dreamt it at all.
The little symbol was still there.
Suddenly, it was all starting to make sense. The fact that she never wanted me to come to any of the ultrasounds, or any of the other appointments that she had at the doctors regarding the baby, the fact that she had made no efforts whatsoever to buy anything for the baby – even though I had tried to broach the subject with her on a couple of occasions, telling me that it was too soon to buy things (and she had told me to stop talking rubbish whenever I said it would be better to spread the cost of buying things out over the months so we are more financially able to cope with it).
I was starting to get the feeling that my darling fiancée was fucking lying to me about being pregnant.
And my feelings were only cemented whenever I phoned her doctor to ask whenever Felicia had to come in for her next appointment, since she had told me that it had already been booked in for the day before the wedding, only to have the receptionist tell me that there were no appointments booked in for her, and that it had been about six months or so since Felicia had been to the doctors – which incidentally, had been for contraception.
I thanked the woman for her time and then hung up, before beginning to put my own plans into place, and I began by phoning Amelia to tell her what I was going to do.

"Sookie, I'm telling you that we have to go to this wedding" I whined at my best friend for about the tenth time. It was now one day before Eric and Felicia's wedding, and time was rapidly running out for me to convince Sookie that she had to go to this wedding.
And after the phone call that I had received from Eric Northman a few days ago, I knew that there was no way in hell that Sookie was ever going to be allowed to miss this wedding.
"No, Amelia. I am not going" she said.
"Why in the hell are you so adamant that you aren't going? You have absolutely no reason not to go" I answered, pretending that I didn't know that she and Eric had been having a four month affair – especially since it wasn't her who told me.
And knowing Sookie, she wasn't about to tell me now either.
"Ugh! I guess that I got to fucking choice but to go. But we go for the ceremony, make our excuses and then come home. Do you understand me? We are not staying for the evening reception part" she shouted at me from the other side of her bedroom door.
I grinned.
"Somehow I think that you will want to stay for the evening reception, my dear Sookie" I mumbled to myself.
"What was that?" she demanded.
"Nothing – I was just saying to myself that we need to get our outfits all sorted out, so you and I are going shopping, my dearest Sookie" I answered.
"Fine. Whatever you say, Amelia" she yelled back at me.
It wasn't fine. It was really more than fine. Now, I just had to phone Eric to let him know that all was going well.
So … what do we think? Review to give me your thoughts and the next chapter should be up soon!
