Epilogue

The day after the destruction of Wawanakwa Island and the rescue of Mayor Rob Ford, the remaining three members of the League of Justice Avengers came to the unanimous agreement that, with all of their greatest adversaries either dead or permanently incarcerated, and with two of their allies dead, it was time to end their caped crusade on crime once and for all.

They arranged the press conference with District Attorney Noah Hayden one week later. With the previous advertisements clearly listing the conference as the official unmasking of Hostman and Pythonicus, it clocked in as the #1 highest-viewed live cable broadcast in Canadian history. The social media world exploded with activity at the moment that Hostman removed his mask, with the name "Chris McLean" spiking nearly 300% in the "Trending" category within the first 60 seconds. The pure shock value simply increased when the third member revealed himself to be Harold McGrady of the Back Alley Boys – an announcement that even shocked his fellow members Cody and Trent.

Afterwards, the three of them declared a day of mourning for their two fallen comrades – LeShawna Talifah, and fellow BAB member Justin Birza – the day after the conference. The funeral procession drew a significant crowd, particularly fans of Birza who attended alongside all 3 of the surviving BAB members. In the aftermath, the surviving band members declared that they would begin work on their new tribute album to Justin, Wish You Weren't Somewhere Else, to be released later that same year.

Both McLean and Hatchet expressed a desire to retire from the public light forever after the revelation of their identities, but dozens of networks and prospective new shows approached them with offers to host. Despite some initial showings of humility, McLean quickly reneged on his previous promise and took several of the offers immediately, coercing Hatchet into being his cohost.

Noah Hayden, along with his assistant Dave, went on to be reelected in a landslide 4 years later, quickly taking over the title previously held by the late DA Clinton as "Toronto's most popular DA."

Several months after the revelation, two bronze statues of Hostman and Pythonicus were unveiled in front of the DA's office building in downtown Toronto. Below each was a plaque containing a quote by the two heroes.

Below Pythonicus: "The sacrifices of many. Always remember. Never forget." – Pythonicus/Chef Hatchet

Below Hostman: "All we wanted to do/All we set out to prove/Was that even celebrities/Can make great heroes." – Hostman/Chris McLean
