"Let's go guys," I said before free-falling off the side of the building. I turned around and saw everyone else falling directly behind me. As Amaya caught up to me she smiled in my direction, before nodding to the upcoming ground. I immediately waited until my face was a foot from the ground before I kicked off and sped forward.
As I rode, I heard Amaya and Ayako yell speed before catching up to me followed by Spyke, Miu, Akira, and Agito.
"I got us a debut battle and registered us online, it's dash and is happening at the school." I told them as we tore through the streets.
"Sounds like a plan Sol, if you don't mind me breaking a few necks?" Spyke asked me laughing. Agito smiled evilly at Spyke's question, "Ya know what, I just might not f*cking kill you yet."
I sighed at Agito's bloodlust, "The battles in about an hour," I summersaulted over an oncoming man walking. "we'd better head towards the school." Everyone on the team nodded as we changed course and headed towards the school.
When they got there, the rival team was already waiting for them. They had on silver jumpsuits and full face helmets that resembled lions. The emblem on their backs said they were called the platinum lions. We rode up and they immediately stopped talking, "You are the Fumetsu Beasts?" one of them asked in surprise. Yuu and I nodded, and the rival team then began to laugh.
One of them pulled out what looked like a cell phone, "Your r.e.a.d.s are all pitiful, the only riders with considerable battle levels are those two," he pointed to Akira and Agito.
Yuu and I looked at one another and winked, our memory sticks true battle levels were being suppressed. We looked at the rival team and sighed, "Where is the race taking place," we asked simultaneously.
"Around the school on the fence, you win by completing the lap first or your opponent is knocked off." The one that said this sounded strangely feminine, but we shrugged it off and went to where the gates met.
"It's five on five, one at a time. We're betting our emblems and ATs," the feminine one stated. One of the riders stepped out; I turned to Amaya and nodded. She smiled and stepped out as well.
Third person POV
Amaya and the opposing riders stood at the beginning of the fence, a lion was holding a coin behind them, "Ready set go!" he flipped the coin, the second it hit the ground both riders took off. The lion was the first to get on the fence and rode balanced on the fence in front of Amaya. She began to accelerate and was directly behind the rider, "Trick!" she yelled. She leapt and soared over the riders head in an elegant twisting backflip…but missed the landing and fell off the fence.
"First win, Silver lions!" the lions congratulated their teammate and the Fumetsu Beasts smiled and pat Amaya on the back. "Nice job Amaya," Solstice said before smiling and hugged her. "Next round!"
Another rider stepped up and Ayako was their opponent, one of them flipped a coin and when it hit the ground Ayako was first on the fence. The rider sped up and aimed a sweeping kick at Ayako's legs, she jumped over his leg and rode backwards while still maintaining speed. She threw out a lightning fast side kick and hit the rider in the stomach, as they doubled over she swung her leg to hit the riders head and their helmet cracked under the impact before they fell.
"Second win, Fumetsu Beasts!" Ayako squealed happily and kissed Yuu on the spot. "I won my first battle!" she said happily. Yuu laughed and hugged her tightly. "Third round!"
On the third round, Yuu stepped forward and gave his opponent a wicked smile. Nobody could see his face but by his body language he was nervous. When the coin hit the ground, Yuu let the rider get in front of him. He waited until they were about three fourths around the school before speeding up directly behind his opponent, "Disappear," he whispered before picking the rider up by his jump suit and threw him forward , unfortunately his weights were off and he forgot just how strong he was. The rider was thrown so hard that he flew past the finish line before hitting the ground.
"Ooooooo," was all that could be heard by both teams. The lions helped their teammate to his feet and the Fumetsu beasts were chuckling. Yuu rode over nervously ruffling his hair, "Sorry guys, I overdid it a little." Everyone sighed except Agito who was laughing. "Sorry Sol." Solstice chuckled and pat his brother on the back.
"Okay, you've really done it now" the feminine sounding rider took off their helmet and took of the top half of their jumpsuit. The rider was a girl with flawless snow-white skin, blonde hair, and a somewhat large chest. She looked at Solstice and gave him a smile, "Let's have a fun battle," she said happily. Solstice just looked at Yuu blankly and stepped forward.
The girl smirked, thinking that her female charm can seduce any male rider. Solstice put on his red tinted sunglasses and got ready.
"Final round!" Solstice stood next to the female rider with his hands in his pockets, she looked over at him and gave a dazzling smile, "Let's just have fun this battle." Solstice smirked and then his face went blank. Amaya went over and asked if she could toss the coin, the lion said yes and gave it to her, "Three, two, one, go!" she flipped the coin.
As the coin hit the ground, both Solstice and the strange girl shot up onto the fence, he let the girl get on before him. "Special technique: puri puri moonwalk!" She spun around and skated backwards with her bouncing chest facing Solstice; she smirked, thinking that she had mesmerized Solstice with her breasts. Solstice's face remained blank as he began to accelerate forward. "Hey, hey, this is just for fun." The girl said nervously at how Solstice was coming closer. "Please, please you don't wanna hurt me! I'm only a girl. I put my heart and soul into making this tea-"she was cut off as Solstice jumped off the fence and was in the air next to her. He held out his arms as he did a cartwheel/front flip corkscrew and tilted his upper body to the right as he curved around her and landed ten feet ahead. His entire team watched in awe as Solstice performed that trick.
The girl was so much in shock she just stood right there watching him, "I can't, even if I kept going it'd be over. Take our emblem and Ats." Solstice stood there a moment and smiled slightly, "Thanks, and I will use them to fuel the flames of greatness!" the team cheered happily except for Agito. They had won their first ever parts war!
