Chapter 20- Welcome to the Black Parade.

Sirius groaned as he slowly rose from his pillow, a small line of morning sun pierced through the gap of his curtains. He glanced at his left and saw a blonde haired mass, Selene must have come home with him last night, which he recalled up to the point said girlfriend thought she could out drink him. It was damn good whiskey too, he rubbed his eyes and then the small shadow that grew over night, he would grow it out. He slowly stood up from the bed and found his boxers, he walked to his dresser and found a pair of sleeping pants. With that he headed down for breakfast before he would get dressed to see Cora.

Remus was already making pancakes when the Black stumbled in hissing a little at the sun light that shined brightly in the room. The Werewolf sighed and looked through the medicine cupboard "How much did you drink?" He asked slightly annoyed.

Sirius shrugged "Don't remember." He said simply with a gruff voice.

Remus gave him a bored look and tossed him two potions "Pepper-Up and Head-Ache." He said simply, getting back to the stove so it wouldn't burn "You smell like sex by the way."

The Black sighed "Selene showed up last night, I remember a drinking challenge and then I woke up in the morning naked." He spoke before downing the potions, his ears steaming like crazy.

Remus moved back to the Medicine cupboard and pulled out another two potions setting them on the counter. Figuring the Veela would be in worse shape than the designated drinker of the house.

A pink haired figure walked into the kitchen next and smacked Sirius upside the head "You were so drunk last night, I had to bring Harry home." She growled sitting down as Kreacher made an appearance giving her the usual orange juice and Sirius black coffee.

Remus looked over with disapproval in his eyes.

Sirius held up his hands in defense "Sorry?" He said calmly "I don't do it often, so I got drunk. You were there to look after the Pup. Thank you." He tried to explain, it was fairly close to a Full Moon and Remus was on edge, last thing he needed was to be hexed at this early.

Nym just sighed "Idiot." She said sipping her juice.

Harry walked in with a smile unlike the other two, he was a morning person. "Morning Moony, Padfoot, Pinky." He chimed sitting across from Nym receiving a kick for the name.

"Not in the mood Potter." She snapped, not a morning person at all but coffee made her sick.

Harry smiled up at her sheepishly rubbing his shin, as Kreacher gave him a glass of milk, he was the only person who drank it regularly.

Remus served the pancakes with sausage links and they all started to eat. A few minutes into the meal, Selene slowly stepped into the room. She looked like she was dying, pale, hair a mess wearing Sirius' shirt from last night which was buttoned wrong and one of his shorts.

Sirius stood up quickly and gave her the potions "It will help" He placed a small kiss on her forehead guiding her to the empty place Kreacher had set for her.

"What does Misses want?" Kreacher grumbled.

Selene down the potions gaining a little color as she did "Coffee, two sugars." She said quietly, wincing at the noise Nym made dropping her fork on her plate.

Harry looked from his God-Father to the half-veela "You guys look like hell." He said bluntly.

Remus smacked him upside the head "Mouth." He spoke in a matter of fact tone.

Sirius and Selene didn't say anything knowing exactly how they looked. The rest of breakfast was a quiet affair, being that Selene placed a silencing hex on Kreacher and everything that spoke. She went upstairs to try and sleep off some more of the hangover, when she left Sirius mouthed 'Not a morning woman.'

Harry and Nym laughed at the mention but being that it was muted, they simply made the movements.

Sirius walked down a lone corridor in the Ministry of Magic, being off for the next few days thanks to Christmas and him being a skilled Auror. He was on level one, where the office of the Adoptive Services was the located. The office was quiet almost unnaturally so, a few chairs were placed at the walls and a desk stood towards the back. An older gentleman sat there, his hair was sliver and his eyes were golden colored "May I help you?" He asked with a curious gaze, few wizards adopted and never pure-bloods.

Sirius nodded his head one "Yes, I was looking at adopting someone." He said simply.

The Man nodded "And what might the name be?" He pulled on a pair of half-moon glasses.

"Cora Hood, Muggle Born and Nine." He spoke in a casual tone.

The man looked up at him "Is this a joke?" He asked standing up slowly.

Sirius shook his head slowly "Er, no." He said confused.

"You know how many times I could count that a Muggle-Born has been adopted since I joined fifty years ago?" He said with a cold gleam in his eyes.

Sirius shrugged "I wouldn't know."

"I could use all my digits and still have room to juggle. No one adopts Muggle-Borns" He moved over to a filing cabinet.

"Well I am not everyone."

"I know who you are Mr. Black." He said in a wise tone of voice "I can see the ring quiet well and have heard the stories."

Sirius shrugged a little, it wasn't that he didn't like to be called on his name but still it meant he was doing something right "So Cora." He started.

The man pulled out a lone file, with Cora's name on the side "Let's see here. Coraline Ariel Hood, date of birth February 19th, she's lived in London her whole life, been to the hospital a lot of times since she was born. One time she couldn't breathe, another she had the chicken pox and a fever, the last her leg was broken from fall out of a window." He paused as he read slowly "Blood type O, Natural hair color Black, Eye color brown. We have reports here on the few times she has used magic, one on teleporting, one of turning a bully into a frog and another on breaking windows with a scream." He chuckled at that, he liked it when children were just finding out their powers, it showed who was strong and who was loose. "She is now an orphan, her magical core seems to have been stabled and that appears to be all we have."

Sirius nodded silently.

"Now I do not think I need to check the finances of your family, the Blacks being one of the most wealthy and I do not have to ask your source of employment being as I already know." He explained "Will you like to adopt as soon as possible? As to my knowledge she is being released from St. Mungo's today."

Sirius nodded again "Yes, I would love to take her back home today if that would be possible." He said with a kind smile.

"Oh yes quiet possible. All you need to do is fill this out." He passed a forum "And then press your thumb print with blood at the end."

The Black did as he was asked and quickly filled out the forum to the best of his ability, a few places were left blank being he couldn't answer.

"Now I must ask." The man said looking over his glasses "Will she have a stable home?"

Sirius nodded "Yes she will, with an older brother and an uncle, maybe a mother figure." He answered, Selene was the only one he could think of like that. She was playful yet serious at times and he loved it, that and boy did that woman have stamina.

The man nodded with a smile, Sirius swiped his thumb on a tack and pressed it to the paper.

Cora sat at the sill of her window, she grew used to the sight. She was going to be moved from here today, wither it was to a new home with a family or an orphanage she didn't know. Though she doubted it would be with the non-magical people or Muggles. She looked down at her arm that she wrapped in gauze, she hated the sight of the scars and would always cover it, even if it was blistering hot.

With a small sigh her eyes followed the birds that flied away, feeling slightly jealous at them always wanting to be free. Flying would be the most free she could get, well that and maybe dying, the soul would be free then right? At least that's what Muggles thought, what did she think now? Was she still Cora or someone new? It was like her whole world suddenly changed like blue was no longer blue but red.

She almost didn't hear the door knock as she thought "Come in." She called out, at least someone respected her privacy.

A familiar face stuck in through the doorway, though his hair was a little messy, a stubble and his eyes had rings she knew who he was "Mr. Black." She said in a happy voice, turning to face him. Glad he would hold onto a promise, it told her a lot about him.

"How are you doing Cora?" He asked leaning on the door frame.

Cora shrugged "Just waiting to be picked up by the foster people." She said with a hint of sadness.

"Oh that won't be happening." He replied looking at his nails.

Cora rose a brow "And why would that be?" She asked crossing her arms.

"Because, your new father will be picking you up." He said in a bored tone.

Cora's eyes went wide "Do you know who it is? Is he nice?" She asked quickly.

Sirius shrugged with a grin "I hear he's nice enough but a scoundrel, womanizer, duelist and pro-Gryffindor. " He explained.

Cora put on a thinking face, he didn't give her much to work with "Can you tell me more?" She pried.

Sirius shrugged "He's a really nice guy when you get to know him, he has something of a son and is very kind hearted." He said calmly.

Cora scrunched up her face in thought, Sirius snorted a little at the way she wrinkled her nose as she did.

Then he added one more thing "Oh and his last name is Black." He said cheekily.

Cora looked at him with wide eyes, which started to leak tears.

Sirius got down on her level "Let's get you home." He said softly.

The small girl took off like a shot and hugged him around the middle, crying small tears into his shirt. Sirius simply held her until she let go of him, he stood up and reached down for her hand which she gave him with the brightest smiles on her face that he had seen.

Cora looked around the placed called Diagon Alley, Sirius had taken her here before going back to her new home. The place was bizarre, the shopping markets she had been to with her Mother were all the same style buildings here it was all sorts of shapes and sizes, some looked like they would fall apart with a push. She was drawn to the building at the end of the street, it was all white marble and sort of lopsided.

Cora looked up and tugged on Sirius' sleeve, he looked down at her with a smile "What's that building called?" She asked pointing a little at the building.

Sirius smiled wider "That" He started "Well that is our Bank, Gringotts." He explained as they started to walk passed it "It's run by Goblins, a lot of them are pretty mean but some are nicer than others."

Cora looked up at him with curious eyes "Goblins!?" She said with a wide grin.

Sirius chuckled "Oh yes, Goblins, Dragons, Unicorns." He listed off leading her to a shop named Comforts of Threads.

Cora smiled wider, being in love with magical stories from a young age. She and Sirius walked through the door making a small chime as they entered. A younger man poked his head out from around a corner "Be right with you." He called out.

Sirius paid him no mind and led Cora over to the girls' apparel, then he looked down at her "This is a new start, I want you to have a new wardrobe." He said smiling brightly.

Cora shook her head quickly looking down at her clothes, she was wearing a dull pink jumper, khaki pants that were slightly worn and dull sneakers. "It's no trouble, I don't want to inconvenience you." She said softly looking down at her shoes.

Sirius sighed getting down at eye level with her "Cora." He said softly so she looked up at him "I want you to pick out a good amount of clothes. We are starting a new Wardrobe for you, trust me you'll love it when we are done." He said placing a hand on her shoulder with true smile "Don't worry about money, I have more than enough. If anything think of it as a Christmas present."

Core nodded slowly, figuring she wouldn't be able to talk him out of it. A lot of her clothes were gone now, Halsey burned down her house when took her. With her parents still inside. Sirius sat down on a bench for the men in the shop, giving her a small nod and she started to look around for clothes.

After about two or so hours Sirius felt that Cora had picked out enough clothes for a small wardrobe. Cora had picked out a lot of darker clothes, her favorite being purple, forest green and black. She had picked out two thick coats both black, a new jumper, she didn't pick out many T-Shirts though Sirius knew why. She grabbed a pair of long finger-less gloves though, they reached up to her elbow and they got her new robes in all colors. She picked a combination of jeans and capris, trainers and boots her favorite being converse. She had a darker style for a nine year old but he had read into her file he knew full well what she had experienced being he had a similar background.

Sirius led her over to the Ice-Cream shop and bought her a strawberry sundae, he chose a simple blackberry ice-pop. "So are you ready to meet your new brother?" He asked softly looking over at her.

Cora played with her ice-cream a little "I-Is he nice?" She asked softly.

"Who Harry?" He said taking a small bite, he nodded a little "The first thing he did when he knew he was getting a sister, was to get you a present for Christmas."

Cora looked up with wide eyes "Re-Really?" She asked with the forming of a smile.

Sirius smiled "Really." He said calmly "He's very quiet though, he might not take to you instantly, just give him a little bit of time to mull it over. You won't see much of him until the summer because he goes to Hogwarts"

Cora nodded with a smile "What else can you tell me about him?" She asked looking up at him.

"Ah well Harry is quite brilliant, creative, friendly and curious. He has something of a darker past that I think he should explain to you. He grew up relatively alone only with me and a few close family."

Cora nodded in understanding.

Sirius spoke up once more "Harry might be willing to teach you a few things about pranking while he's here."

"Pranking?" She asked with a look of confusion.

Sirius chuckled "Everyone in the house does it, sometimes it's a full out war." He explained "He'll show you the ropes and I will teach while Harry is at Hogwarts."

Cora nodded, it sounded fun though she doubted she would prank Sirius.

Sirius stood up to throw his stick away "Shall we get going then?" He asked calmly.

Cora looked down at her Ice-Cream Soup and nodded.

"Remus! Harry!" Sirius called out of the Floo room, Cora was out of breath from breathing while in the middle of the travel. She was coughing out soot and ash "I'm home!" He patted her back lightly, recalling Harry did that a few times.

A blonde figure poked her head in the room "Welcome 'ome." Selene said with a warm smile, looking at him and then Cora to which she rose a brow.

Sirius rubbed the back of his neck a little "I didn't think you would be here still Selene." He said nervously.

Selene shrugged smiling sheepishly "I was planning on staying 'ere until Christmas….then I would go 'ome for the rest of the 'oilday." She explained "So who is this?" The ½ Veela asked looking at the small girl.

Sirius nodded at the explanation "This is Cora…She's my new daughter." He said rubbing the girls back as she got the ash out of her system.

Cora glared at Sirius for not warning her about the Floo, then glanced over at Selene truth was she thought the woman was beautiful "H-Hi" She said stepping behind Sirius.

Selene smiled warmly "ello, I'm Selene." She said getting down at Cora's level "I'm a good friend of Sirius" She explained, not knowing how the girl would like her if she told her that she was his girlfriend.

Cora looked over at Selene and nodded at her a little "I'm Cora." She said softly.

"That's a lovely name Cora." She said with a grin "Let's 'ave you meet 'arry? Oui" She stood up and headed out the door.

Sirius nodded at Cora and she followed the woman, he walked behind her a little.

Harry was upstairs in his room, meditating so he didn't hear Sirius enter the house. He did hear his door open a little "Arry, you ave a visitor." Selene spoke softly.

Harry opened a single eye to glare at her for breaking his meditation. She just grinned at him and looked down at a black haired girl.

Harry opened the other eye and relaxed a little, he looked her over for a moment. She had hair a lot like his own she covered her left eye with her hair, her clothes looked fairly old and worn but overall he got a good feeling from her "I'm Harry James Potter." He said calmly standing up "I'm Sirius' God-Son."

Cora looked Harry over a little, her eyes flashed involuntarily at him changing the pink that she used for her power. He was a brilliant sliver color, but at his chest was a red with green streaks which seemed to be linked to something. how mouth had a dull lime color to it. She stepped back when she saw his forehead, it was the darkest black she had ever seen even Halsey wasn't this dark.

Harry watched Cora with confusion she had taken a step back in fear of him, her eyes were a bright pink color. Sirius mentioned that she was special, this could be what he was talking about.

Cora's eyes flashed back to their normal brown color, she got a little light headed but she recovered a little "Sorry…I'm Cora Ariel Hood." She introduced herself to Harry.

Harry smiled "Nice to meet you Cora." He said sitting back down "Have you ever meditated before?" He asked casually.

Sirius and Selene both smirked, Sirius gave Cora a nod and they left the two alone.

Cora shook her head "N-No." She said softly.

Harry smiled "It's simple, just close your eyes and clear your head." He said in a similar soft voice.

Cora rose a brow at him "Why do you meditate?" She asked sitting down, taking a pose like his.

Harry sighed a little "I have something of an anger issue…it helps me clear my head." He said sitting straighter, with a look of non-emotion on his face.

Cora let out a breath a little "So….What can you tell me about the Houses of Hogwarts?" She asked after they sat in silence for a few minutes.

Harry rose a brow and opened an eye, figuring she wasn't going to let him meditate "Well…let's start with Hufflepuff…"

The next two days passed like a small blur, like Sirius had figured Harry had taken his younger sister under his wing for the pranks. While not as stealthy as the Potter or as creative, Cora was making progress. She hadn't learned the steps or wood that made noise yet and she had been caught with Harry trying to sneak into the kitchen.

Cora would often be found around Sirius or Remus as they would tell her stories of the Wizard world. Today however was Christmas and she was in for a rather rude awakening.

Harry crept into Cora's room which was Nym's room at a time they had moved her up a level and he wasn't using the cloak. It was around seven o'clock and he knew this was going to be fun "Aquae Vi" He muttered softly spraying the sleeping girl with water.

Cora jumped up with a scream, twisting and trying to get away from the stream of water, breathing heavily she looked at Harry behind her soaking hair "Harry…" She whispered softly "You are so dead!" She screamed trying to get out her soaking tangled sheets.

Harry laughed loudly at the look on her face, knowing that he would pay for it later but he didn't care "Merry Christmas Cora." He said walking out of the room, leaving the door open.

Cora watched him leave "Sirius!" She shouted still tangled in her sheets.

Within a minute the Black was at her door frame with a look of panic, then he saw her and started to laugh "Harry give you the Christmas surprise this year?" He said, Harry changed it up every year but it was normally a cup of ice water while he or Remus slept.

Cora simply growled a little "Just get me out please!" She cried.

Sirius waved his wand drying her off and pulling sheets loose. "Let's go down for breakfast, then we can start Christmas." He said simply.

Cora nodded and got out of the bed, Remus and Selene were already down stairs waiting for them Harry had a wide smile on his face "Good morning." He said brightly.

Kreacher had made fresh cinnamon rolls and started to set them out for each person. Cora like Harry drank milk in the mornings. Breakfast was a pretty normal affair except for when Cora spilled her milk all over Harry by accident or so she claimed. The two then started to throw fruit at each other and Sirius joined sometime in the middle, Selene simply avoided the fruit that came her way and Remus tried to stop it before it got worse.

When the fight was all settled and they had cleaned up, the group retired to the den where the tree was located. The Tonks and Malfoys would likely come by for dinner that night so it was a full day.

Selene smiled softly as she walked to the tree "Alright, I think that Miss Cora 'as the right to open the first present, Non?" She asked looking at Sirius.

"Why are you looking at me?" He asked shifting his Santa hat.

Remus snorted a little "Because when it comes to presents, you try to open them all in the first five minutes." He said sipping on a cup of tea with a smirk that Harry shared.

Sirius rubbed his forehead "Prats, the both of you." He said bitterly.

Selene sighed happily, she leaned down a picked up a flat red small box "This is from 'Arry, to you." She said passing Cora the box.

Cora beamed a little and looked to Harry who was looking at her with a grin. She slowly pulled the ribbon off, then she tore into the paper. The box was a simple white and very light at that, when she opened it she gasped a little. Inside was a beautiful sliver shield with a phoenix on it she spotted one word in its talons 'Potter', it was a necklace on a sliver or steel chain.

Cora looked up at Harry with a small tear in her eyes, she jumped up and quickly gave him a large hug that knocked the wind out of him.

Remus and Sirius were looking with wide eyes, Selene was chuckling lightly. The Wolf leaned in towards the Black "That was a Potter crest wasn't it?" He whispered softly.

Sirius nodded.

"Think he knows what that means?"

Sirius nodded again "He said he always wanted a sister" He said running a hand through his hair "At the moment it's just jewelry, but at school…it will let everyone know he means business."

Remus nodded a little and stretched back.

Selene handed a present to Sirius who looked at it with a raised brow, it was from Remus and it was a dog collar. Sirius glared at his old friend "Prat."

Remus grinned as he opened a gift from Harry which was a book on the Luna. It was his turn to glare.

Harry laughed simply at the pair, Selene had gotten him a new pair of Seekers gloves.

At the end of the day Sirius had gotten a few gifts from his friends and family, most of which was novelty stuff or something practical like a tin of fudge from Molly. Remus had gotten a lot of gag gifts and a few new books. Cora had only gotten things from the family as she had no one else yet, Selene got her a sliver bracelet, Remus had gotten her books on the Wizard World like 'Hogwarts a History' and 'So you're a Wizard?', Sirius got her the most important gifts which was a family again, new clothes, a cherry wood box with black roses carved into it and even a practice wand so she could get the forms down.

Harry being as popular as he was had gotten many gifts, The Twins got him some new prank stuff, Molly had sent him a Weasley Sweater, Christian sent a real Dream-Catcher which would help with his nightmares, Sirius got him the new Nimbus 2000, Remus got him a set of DADA books on intelligent dark creatures such as Succubus and Vampires, Daphne had actually sent him something it wasn't much but still she got him a Slytherin style flag which made Sirius a little red. Hermione had out done herself with a book on the Potters which made Harry jump with joy. Selene had gotten him a necklace of a simple still flame in gold, Nym got him a book on Greek magic and myths, Draco sent him a skull ring. Cissy sent him a new cloak in black with the crest on the back and Andie bought him a pair of leather boots. McGonagall sent him a small box of candy like every year. Ginny he saved for last as he got a handmade scarf in green, black and red it meant a lot to him and would wear it until it got too hot.

Harry smiled at all the gifts, a lot of this stuff he could bring to Hogwarts well he could bring it all. He slipped on the skull ring Draco sent him and grinned a little, while he wasn't gothic or dark he didn't mind the odd skull now and then.

Sirius grinned a little at everyone "So Christmas good?"

Cora and Harry looked at each other as they opened the candy box and nodded "The Best." They said at the same time.

Sirius paled as Remus laughed "Merlin, what have I done." He whispered which got everyone laughing at his expense.

As he figured Andie, Nym, Ted, Cissy and Draco showed up around six for dinner, Lucius never came around this time of year being he hated Ted and Andie well and Sirius but. Both women were extremely surprised and Andie almost fainted when he introduced Cora. Selene had left around lunch to go home to her sister's house.

Cissy looked in between thoughts, Draco was as well, his pride was telling him to glare at the girl but she was also family now. Andie was smiling radiantly with Ted and Nym was happy as well based on her hair being the pink color and eyes a soft brown like Cora's.

Cissy and Sirius locked eyes for a moment and started a mental conversation 'Are you insane?!' She sent him loudly.

Sirius mentally shrugged 'I'm a Black, so yes a little.' He answered calmly 'You were not there when I found her, you remember Halsey?'

Cissy shifted a little 'Yes…I do, he was insane and obsessed with creating life from nothing' She explained.

Sirius bared teeth a little 'Notice how she wears long sleeves? And is constantly tugging on her right arms side? It's because that is where he carved into her flesh.' He said in an icy thought.

Cissy paled a little 'Merlin…that doesn't explain why you-'

He cut her off 'I feel responsible for her, she's a good girl. Shy and very hard to start trusting, she doesn't trust Remus or Selene and only trusts Harry a little bit.' He said calmly.

Cissy nodded gently 'I hope you know what you are doing…Lord Black.'

Sirius grinned a little 'So do I.' He sent back 'So do I.'

Cissy broke the connection and leaned over to Draco, whispering something then nodded his head in understanding.

The rest of the dinner went peacefully, the Adults sat at one end and the kids on the other end of the table. Draco to his credit didn't make a single muggle born comment during the meal "So why the ring?" Harry asked, he got Draco a belt buckle in the shape of a snake also in pewter.

"Saw it figured you might like it." He answered sipping on a glass of water "Why the belt buckle."

"Same reason." Harry answered picking at his potatoes.

Nym smiled at the both of them "Thank you both for the presents by the way, Harry how did you know I needed a new brush?" She asked having gotten a really cool weird sisters top from Draco which she was wearing.

Harry shrugged "Instinct, You brush your hair enough so I thought you might like it." He replied calmly.

Nym grinned at Draco "Thank you for the shirt it's awesome, why have I never seen this kind?"

Draco grinned a little "It's from their new album, Father owns a share in their recording company and we got a few things." He said casually.

Cora was silent the whole time, she didn't know Nym or Draco yet and was wary of them. Her eyes flashed again Draco was a mix of whites and blacks it made her confused and Nym was a pink color like her hair. She didn't know what these colors meant but she would learn sooner or later.

Cissy and Andie both rose a brow "The Potter crest? He's already accepted her this much?" Cissy hissed.

Sirius shook his head "It's not that, at the moment it means nothing. It's a piece of jewelry but when she gets to Hogwarts I think it will show its true value." He explained.

"Speaking of Hogwarts, has she made any comments on it?" Andie asked crossing her arms.

Sirius nodded casting a look at Cora whose eyes were that bright pink "She's very interested in the Slytherin and Ravenclaw house." He said calmly "She isn't bold enough for Gryffindor and is not that friendly for Hufflepuff."

At that the sisters chuckled "Would be different a Muggle-Born in Slytherin." Cissy stated.

"It has happened." Andie countered.

Cissy pursed her lips "Indeed it has."

The rest of the evening was uneventful at best, Draco and Harry taunted and baited each other but that was the extent of their attacks it was Christmas after all and they were a family. A few small band of misfits but family, even Remus fit in somehow.

Dumbledore paced in his office, he had just learned that Harry had reached out into Slytherin and was moving towards Hufflepuff. In the long run this could be bad, having different opinions could ruin his chances at pulling young Harry along his proper path. Fawkes stared at him with slight amusement and let out a soft thrill.

Some of the Headmasters gazed down at him as he did so but two more than others, the painting of a Black that was known as the most loathed Hogwarts Headmaster and the painting of a Potter whose hair was like that of his ancestors and descents, though his title was more along the lines of the most adventuring Headmaster as he loved to explore the area in his youth.

Where the portraits were honor bound to serve the Headmaster they also had a duty to their houses, Black and Potter had made an unspoken alliance when the Old man started to speak about Harry James Potter Black. Being part of both of their houses they would need to save their heir or their line could vanish.

Dumbledore had thought he left more than enough clues for Harry but it seemed that not well enough, he had Hagrid pick up the stone the same day Harry left for his Gringotts exploration he had contacts within the bank that kept him informed of who went and who didn't. He had placed more than enough for him to gather, while he knew the boy was smart, top of his class.

He had to be sure that Tom made the right choice and that it was not Neville Longbottom that was the chosen one. He knew Tom was coming back but with what means he could only guess, people thought Death was something that couldn't be fought. They were wrong.

He had the Wand and what he thought was the Cloak all he was missing was that blasted stone and he would be Deaths master. With that power he could watch over the world to make sure it flowed on the path necessary for the greater good. "Now how to get Mr. Potter in on the hunt…perhaps with some bait?" He mused out loud.

Adam Potter looked down at the Headmaster with hardened blue eyes and nodded to Phineas Black. The old man never noticed the Black slip out of his picture to the Black home.

Hello Hello, wow this was a long one. I would like to thank you all for reading what I would love to call a wonderful story however, I could be full of myself. Anyway I didn't really want to focus on anyone else other than Harry and Cora for this chapter. I think I captured what should be expected for a blossoming Brother/Sister relationship if you have some situations you'd like to see them in, I am open to ideas. Of course we will learn more of Cora's past as time goes on and we will learn about Ginny's Christmas as well. I think I recall someone asking me to bring Luna Lovegood in and I will! I promise you that! Easter! I promise. Anyway if someone has any other ideas they would like to share I am All Ears. Well Eyes as I would read it, you get the idea. So share with me the Love, The Hate and the Ugly for I shall always remain- 'The Demon'
