AT LAST! AFTER ALL THIS TIME! CHAPTER 19 IS COMPLETED!

Hello everyone, and welcome to the next chapter! Let's continue onward with this story!...

...I am so ashamed I made you guys wait for this piddly-short piece of shit...

Chapter 19 - Priority: Mountain Glenn II

The In-Training Huntsman Teams and their other universe support poured from the Bullheads, spreading out and going after the Grimm, clearing the park that was being used as an LZ for the operation. Immediately after the LZ was, the groups divided up and some stayed to keep the LZ secure, while others began hunting down and striking at the Grimm in the area.

One of these Hunter/Killer teams consisted of Ruby, Retribution, Raiden, and Rena. The group, jokingly called by the others "Team R" swept through their sector of Mountain Glenn, using Crescent Rose, Prothean's Wrath, Raiden's Pistols known as Western Punch and Western Kick, and Rena's bow, Wildwood Strike. During a lull in the fighting, Retribution turned to the two Raptor 'R's. "You both do fairly well for yourselves," he commented.

"Thanks, you're not too bad yourself, bugman..." Raiden commented, earning an elbow jab from Rena.

"'Bugman'? What is it with people comparing me to insects?" Retribution asked.

"Uhhh...ya look in a mirror lately, partner?" Raiden commented, slipping into western speak.

"Raiden!" Rena warned.

"Shit, sorry...happens from time to time, slipping into my native accent..." the masked huntsman-in-training said to Ruby and Retribution.

"Your native accent sounds like one of those human Wild West Movies?" Retribution asked curiously.

"He was born in a region in Vacuo where everyone talks like that, where he lived until he moved to Vale and attended Signal. The other students found it to be annoying, so he did his best to drop the accent...I really don't mind it to be honest, but he asked me to warn him if he slipped back into it..." Rena explained.

"Well, we don't mind how you speak," Ruby said to the masked huntsman kindly.

"Ya don't?" Raiden said, slipping back in.

"I find it more amusing than annoying..." Retribution stated, as a new wave of Grimm arrived, starting combat anew.

The sound of approval made by Raiden was followed by a particularly showy takedown of a Beowolf using his pistols, which he, in western style, spun on his fingers before gripping them again. "Then let's take em' down, partner..."

Meanwhile, elsewhere, a team consisting of Weiss, Lunn, Percival, and Tabitha moved, trying to root out a nest of Creeps that have been assaulting the landing zone. As they drawed closer, the Grimm began to increase in number. Weiss and Lunn stuck together, Lunn using a Sentry Turret to keep the enemy off them, and his Sticky Grenades to take out large groups, while he and Weiss took down either stragglers (in Lunn's case) or those few who got past Lunn's defenses (Weiss). Meanwhile, Percival had grown his Black Crystal Armor over him and was using a grown Crystal Greatsword against the rest, and Tabitha was whipping up frozen whirlwinds, tossing some Creeps up into the air, and shredding others with the icy shards.

"So..." Lunn's voice jolted Weiss from her thoughts. "How much further do you think it is? My sensors are being blocked by the sheer amount of buildings with dust-laced metal in their supports."

Weiss thought for a moment, getting her mind back on the mission. "Shouldn't be too much further, with this many here," Weiss replied, "Maybe a block or two at the most."

"Alright, let's pack up and get back to Percival and Tabitha," Lunn suggested. Weiss nodded in agreement, and soon, they were back up to the duo.

"The enemy cave is not far now, we should be able to root them out soon," Percival reported. The others nodded and made their way to the cave. When they arrived however...

"Who got here first? You don't think another team could have made it here before us, do you?" Percival asked, finding a torn apart nest, and the still-dissolving bodies of Creeps laying around.

"Would have been contacted," Tabitha replied, voicing her thoughts, "Not our work."

"Well, who did this then?" Lunn asked.

Weiss thought things over...before noticing something: an arm sticking out from under the corpse of a Grimm. She walked over, and began moving the corpse to the side, Lunn coming and helping out...only to gasp at what she saw under. After regaining her composure, her shock turned into restrained anger. "The White Fang..."

Lunn straightened up, before going to an open comm channel. "Be advised: we have evidence of a White Fang presence in the area. All units, be advised: we have White Fang in the area!"

As Lunn alerted the others, and Percival and Tabitha uncovered more White Fang corpses, as well as those of Roman Torchwick's goons, Weiss thought, 'White Fang...why are they HERE?!'

A Cerberus squad waited on the bridge, weapons pointed at the door, as the invading force spread out, their main squad heading right their way. Soon, the Allied Squad began cutting the door, and the Cerberus soldiers raised their weapons, poised to strike. The door opened...revealing nothing...

The Cerberus soldiers looked around, surprised to see no one there...before the Centurion in charge felt something tap his armor's shoulder. "Pardon me, but am I the one you're looking for?" The soldier turned around...only for him and a couple of his men to get impaled on an energy beam, while the rest of his squad faced a flurry of bullets and purple energy bolts. Soon, Goodwitch and Enigma entered. "That turned out well," Ozpin stated, dusting off his suit. He heard something to his side, pointing his cane that way, turning to face the Cerberus officer there, who had ALMOST leveled a gun on Ozpin, but the Veteran Hunter was quicker on the draw. For added measure, Ozpin charged the cane. "I wouldn't try that if I were you..." he stated to the Cerberus Officer.

Goodwitch approached the man, and used her magic-like Semblence to restrain the man, while Ozpin put restraints on him, and Enigma hacked into the bridge's computers, locking Cerberus out of the computers on the ship. "Computer access has been changed: Cerberus forces will be unable to activate Self Destruct, unless done manually through Main Engineering."

"Well, then we'll have to hope Team MARN and Ironwood's soldiers can take Main Engineering..." Goodwitch replied, as the group went to familiarize themselves with the bridge.

This is VERY short, IMHO, for something you guys have been waiting months for, but to those of you who DID wait...thanks...

I'll try continuing this when I can, but...writing the battle scenes for Mountain Glenn are...difficult...honestly: the Cerberus Cruiser is easier to write for...

...Well, until next time, guys...
