Fairy Tail: A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Chapter 21: "No more yielding but a dream."
Night time in Magnolia. The moon and stars hang beautifully in the sky, but just outside the city, two powerful creatures walk in the East Forest.
"Now's the time us fairies play our games." one of the two creatures said, he was tall, had spiky blue hair and wore a crimson cape, "And us fairies that run from the daylight and follow the night dance our dance." he continued as he took the other creature's hand, a beautiful woman with long scarlet hair, and began to dance with her.
Elsewhere, Gajeel sweeps the stage of the Fairy Tail guild hall. "Can't believe he made me clean a freakin' stage!" he complained, "I should perform on the stage, not clean it! This is the thanks I get?"
Back to the fairy king and queen…
"Through the house, by the fire, every fairy dances the dance after we sing our song." Kubo said, dancing with his queen, "Hand in hand, with fairy grace, we'll sing and bless this place." Erza sang, as she danced with her king, "From now till the morning, all our fairies will bless these young couples." she said.
"So all the couples be in true love forever. And the blot of nature's hand won't affect them. Never a scar or prodigious mark or mole will be on their children." Kubo said as he continued to dance.
"With this concentrated dew and a blessing in each room, this palace will be filled with peace." Erza said as Kubo dipped low before bringing her back up to continue their dance. "Trip away, make no stay, we'll see you again at the break of day." Kubo said as he and Erza danced on into the night.
Gajeel swept some more until his broom magically disappeared. Slowly he turned around to look you in the eye, "If us fairies offended you, think about this." he said as he pulled up a chair, still looking at you, "All o' this was just some story written by some unoriginal wannabe writer. He just stole the works of two more popular guys, put them together and put them on, what do ya call it? The internet? But don't worry. If you forgive us, we'll make it up to ya. And, as I'm an honest dragon, if we have undeserved luck, now to escape the serpent's tonue, We'll make amends before long, if I'm lyin', may lightning strike me dead. So, good night everybody, give me your hands if we're friends and Black Steel Gajeel will restore amends."
With that, Gajeel got up from his chair, put the quill back in the inkwell, closed the book that was on the desk, walked to the door and blew out the only candle in the dark room, and left.
