Daxter P.O.V.:There we were, me and Tess off in our little dream world.
We where as peaceful as peaceful can get, as we then dream of being back in our little house with the newborn kids.
Suddenly while enjoying the slumber land, that's when I was suddenly woken up from it by Tess.
Who then tells me in whisper "Daxter I think I heard something downstairs that sounds like heavy footsteps!"
At first I didn't believe her,saying "so what, people love wearing big boots sometimes what's the point?"
"That's not what I mean" Tess whispers in worry ,adding in "I mean I think someone is trying to break in!"
I then assure her that no one is breaking in, saying "Tess don't worry if some one does try to break in, you know that your fateful orange lightning will be here to protect you."
"Oh thanks honey" she said to me, as I then got out of bed and out the door to see Tess's imaginary intruder.
After getting out the door, I then started to look in both sides of the hallway I was in, only to say to myself that no one set foot in the hallway.
And just so you people don't get bored here's a list of places in the motel I've checked:
Vacant rooms, Kitchen ,Dining area in a 5 star restaurant in the motel, Bathrooms, Closets, I even broke the fourth wall checking in front of me all over the computer screen or I phone your reading this story from.
I checked all the places listed above and there was nothing, zip, nada, empty.
But since I was up already, I decided to get myself a glass of water before going back to bed.
As I do get my water though that's when I began to hear those footsteps Tess told me about.
However she didn't tell me how terrifying it sounded!
Once I heard it, I decided to check out this threat Tess was talking about found in the lobby.
And it turned out to be not Kor or a Metal Head, but instead it was 2 M.O.R.O.N. soldiers and right in-between them was their leader Megan!
Given I couldn't hear him well, but I could make out part of what they where saying.
That being "we know your keeping a pregnant female ottsel here, and we request you take us to her now."
"Check the 2nd floor 1st door on the left ,that's where I checked them in" the manager said.
I-I couldn't believe it m-m-m-m-M.O.R.O.N. soldiers are still alive I thought.
And what's worse we're ratted out to him I had to warn Jak I then thought.
Once I reunited with Tess we, later got into Jak's room through an open vent, I then get on the couples bed and try to wake Jak and Keira up by shouting "WAKE UP!"
Doing so Jak then grabs me sternly by the back which hurts by the way, and says "what gives Daxter, we where in the middle of-" only for Tess to shut him up before he can finish yakking ,and say "listen."
Then that's when he heard someone from across the hall say "I know those little insects are here, I can almost smell their fear."
Hearing this, Jak then quietly got closer to the door so he can hear better.
And by what he heard, man oh man was he in for a big surprise, when he heard the guy on the other side say "I swear in the name of Damas, we'll find those little base wreckers and have their hides as trophies, even if we have to break down every door of this place!"
That's when Jak whispered to all of us to get down, right before they kicked the door to Jak's room first only to reveal that it was the M.O.R.O.N. chump.
"Well well looky who we meet again boys, and there's the pest who stole my prized ottsel" referring to me,then saying "I'd like to see you and your smart mouth friends get out of this one your surrounded now!"
"W-what do you mean?" I ask to which Megan pulls out a device afterwards, points it at his men and uses it to make clones out of them, thus giving me his definition of surrounded.
Tess with a worried look on her face, then tries to cling to me and say "oh Daxie do something don't let them take me I'm too young to die!"
"I know do one of your orange lightning moves on them "Tess says giving me an idea.
But seeing these guys, I just wanna run for it instead!
Even if I do so however, then Tess will finally know I'm a phony and probably not speak to me again.
But if I do try and fight these guys, I'm as good as dead along with everyone else here.
Aw man what do I do I thought to myself ,as I then stare into these soldiors with fear.
What will be Daxter's choice fight or run you decide and I will update it in the next chapter sorry if I haven't done this story in a while I had one serious case of writers block but now I'm back and ready to keep typing and I hope you all enjoy the story and I will be hoping for positive reviews from you for those who do and I promise the next update will be done soon
