Hello guys. This is not as interesting as I promised, but something will definitely happen in the next chapter. This just gives you a bit of information about the summer, and a few going ons. The last part of the summer will be in the next chapter, and then Second Year of Hogwarts will begin!
Hope you enjoy!
Chapter 21
Dear Jasper,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Hey mate! How're you doing? Did you like your present? I wasn't sure what you'd like, so I just guessed, although Hermione did that tutting thing when I asked her for advice. Did you have a party/ What present did you get? Sorry, I'm a bit excited - you're the last one of us to turn 12!
You convinced your dad to come back to England early? My mum agreed on a specific date to go to Diagon alley. Don't know why we don't do this every year, to be honest, its so much easier having a set time for something. Mum was a bit annoyed, but went for it when I pointed out that it would be easier to organise travel and who goes off with who and all that. Huh, I suppose going into Ravenclaw does mean something. . . even if I do have to do so much more reading than I ever thought id have to in my entire life. We don't have a date yet, though.
Hermione told me she was going to America for a ten days, though. She's been bombarding me with owls for days. She's lucky I like her, otherwise I would have asked dad to block the owls from getting past the wards.
Oh yeah! Charlie's back from Romania! You know, the one that works with dragons? He' the second eldest, and totally awesome, even though Bill, my oldest brother, is my favourite after the twins. Charlie's still cool, though, especially with all the dragon stuff he does.
Ginny's starting her first year next year. I'll warn you now, and say that you had better be prepared. She is the biggest Charles Potter fangirl, and Charles actually likes her back! I suppose we're lucky we're not in Gryffindor. . .
Anyway, got to go. Mum's calling for dinner, and Hermione will kill me through lecture if I don't do some homework. Hope to see you soon.
Ron.

Dear Ron,
How're you doing? What have you been doing this summer? Gone out anywhere? Its good that you get to see your brother again. He works with dragons, huh? How is it? Does he enjoy it? How do the dragons he work with get along with Charlie and the other handlers?
Sorry (I am currently blushing and Tony is looking at me like I've gone crazy) I have a slight obsession with dragons. . .
Thanks for the birthday present, I loved it. We have different games over here in America, so the box of games were appreciated - and thanks for the chocolate, I missed only having to wait a weekend for some more when Fred and George snuck out to Hogsmeade. You found out how they do that yet? Yeah, I had a bit of a party. I had a few friends around, and a mountain of presents. My dad got me a set of books that I've been wanting for months now. I also got a few movies and DVD's of my favourite TV shows. It was an awesome party, especially because most of them haven't seen me for months.
I've talked to my dad about, and he says that as long as the date we meet isn't too far away from September first, we can do it. He doesn't want to stay in England any longer than he has too, especially because we can get all the books we'll need in the local market place. I hope we can see each other though, so we have time to catch up before the train and school work and other friends.
Anyway, I have had the best summer! My dad set up this summer camp for the children of his colleagues. He works at NCIS, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and some of the other agents their and other Navy personnel sent their kids as well.
We stayed in a hotel for two weeks. We were put in team - was with one of my best friends, Artemis, and three other kids I had hardly ever seen before - Mark, Katie and Justin. We were given a case - a cold case that was closed so many years ago the killer was dead from what the profile in the file said. It was really easy to find the fake murderer, though I suppose that was because dad and the other agents made it easy. . .
Anyway, we had two weeks to solve as many cases as we could. We solved SEVEN! I know, unrealistic in real life, but what you gonna do, it wasn't actually a real life set of cases.
And yeah, Hermione's told me she's coming over for a holiday, although I don't have clue how she convinced her parents into doing that. She's too far away too send me too many owls, but I have gotten more in the past month than I would have thought she'd send me. Annoying thing is, is that she is always reminding me to do my homework, as if my dad didn't make me do it all within the first week!
You little sister really is that big a fangirl? Oh dear Merlin, Charles is going to be insufferable with a crush! Does it ever get confusing with the names? - I mean, Charles Potter and your brother Charlie? Does anyone ever get them mixed up?
See you soon, Ron.
Jasper.
###~~###
Dear Hermione,
How was your flight back? It was so good to see you, even if we didn't get to spend too much time together. I hope you liked Washington.
I know you only left the other week, but I have got a load of stuff to tell you. Ok, first, we got a new agent! She's ex-secret service, and she's called Kate. She's alright normally I suppose, but I don't like her very much, and she's not very nice to Tony. Dad's still trying to get her into shape - she's alright with office work and good with a gun, but put her on a crime scene and she doesn't have a clue what she's doing - its actually kind of funny. She came to a crime scene in high heels the other day, and they had to go hiking through the woods. She had to put on a spare pair of Abby's boots, which were a good two sizes too big for her. It was quite a funny sight.
Another thing - you remember Artemis right? The small blonde girl I introduced as my best friend. Yeah, she's going to Japan for two weeks to spend time with her father, and she's invited me along. She says its because her dad will be working most of the time and she'll want some company, since her mom is working those weeks and can't come with her, and also that the magical community in Japan is the biggest in the world. I said yes, of course, because who would pass up the opportunity to go to Japan!
We're leaving for Japan on the fourteenth, and won't be back until the twenty eighth, so I was writing to tell you that me and Ron have agreed to meet in Diagon Alley on the 30th of August. Ron is using the argument that no one else would be their to get their supplies that late, and my dad doesn't want me to get into England too early. We would normally only leave a day later anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
Anyway, tell me if you can make it. I hope you can, I really want to see you and Ron again soon. Have you heard about his sister?
Jasper

Dear Jasper,
YOU'RE GOING TO JAPAN!? You are sooo lucky. I've been trying to convince my parents to go on holiday to japan for years, but they say I have to wait until I'm older so I can appreciate the sights more. You have to tell me all about the magical communities you find there. Artemis is right, the Japanese Magical Community is the biggest in the world, and the oldest. They are also one of the only countries still ruled by Mages, and inhabited by not only wizards and witches, but creatures and demons. They are also the only country to not have had a magical war in the past 50 years, which is quite a feat.
But enough about Japan - you'll be able to tell me all about it soon enough.
Yes, I will be able to make it Diagon Alley on the 30th. My parents were too busy to go before then anyway, so its perfect timing. I am quite looking forward to seeing you again as well, even though it had only been a week or two since I last saw you. Ron's getting a bit anxious for you to be in the country again, I think. He's been raised too well to tell me, but I think he's getting quite bothered by the amount of owls I've been sending him. I also reckon he's looking forward to a bit of male company. He's been telling me that he's been 'stuck' with his mum and sister the past week, as the older boys have all gone of to do something he will not tell me about. That is getting a bit annoying.
Anyway, yes, I did hear about his sister. Did you hear about what Charles did to her? Its all over the Prophet.
Hermione.
