Ch.21 Race 5 and Revelations
(Where we left off)
Both groups would silently head back to the garages as the 5 rookies would continue talking amongst each other
"Hmm…this might be easier than I thought…" Torvald would tell herself
Candlehead would look at Crumbelina. "How did they figure all that out? Just by observing and listening to us?"
"Well we were talking a lot about it…anyone could've figured it out…" Crumbelina would respond
"Sorry to contradict you Crumbelina…" Gloyd would be watching security footage on his computer. "They weren't listening to us often nor for very long…-he'd show her the footage with the audio-…all they hear is Torvald short speech…and a little of Vanellope talking with Rancis…"
Crumbelina's eyes would widen. "I get Akio can see/tell what emotions people are feeling…Lodhi can read anyone like a book…but how could they figure so much out with so little?"
"All 5 of smarter than you think…" Torvald would state
"Except Annie…she's all over the place…" Minty would cross her arms
"We all can agree she is…" Sticky would look at Torvald
"We still need her regardless…"
Vanellope would stand in her garage holding her goggles her back to her racers
"I understand the advantages Akio and Lodhi had…but I didn't expect them to catch on so quickly…"
"If you don't mine me saying princess…maybe you should tell them the whole story now…" Adorabeezle would state
"I understand where your coming from…but I think these developments will make Torvald a little cocky…I'll let her make the first move…"
"Ok…"
"Your all dismissed…"
They'd bow and leave
Rancis would stay behind
"Glad you weren't angry…"
"I am a little…but it's pointless to let that control my actions…"
She'd walk out of her garage then get a cramp
"Son of a bitch…"
"You ok Nelly?" Rancis would be by her side
"Yea…I'm fine…"
(An hour later)
Everyone would drive towards the next track to see it glitching and morphing
"Vot's going on?" Lodhi would ask
Vanellope would check her tablet
"Hmm…Monaco was supposed to be an unlockable track…but it's glitching into and changing the Bahrain track…I can fix it…which track do you want to race on?"
"Bahrain…" The rookies would reply in unison
"Why that track?" Taffyta would ask
They'd look at Taffyta "…it's nearly impossible to overtake on Monaco…"
"Bahrain it is then…" Vanellope would state
A few swipes and taps later the Bahrain track would lay out in front of the racers

The racers would line up as the starting positions would appear on the large screen above the pitlane

5 red lights would appear above the racers
They'd rev their engines
Lodhi's eyes would narrow as he'd grip his steering wheel tight
"Zis time…zis time…I'm going to vin…" He'd tell himself
The five lights would go out
Everyone would floor it down the straight towards turn 1
Lodhi and Annie would speed towards turn 1 their tires centimeters apart
Lodhi would pull ahead slightly and would enter the turn when suddenly
-WHAM-
Annie would clip his rear and send him sliding on the run off and into the wall
Lodhi would cover his hands over his visor as Annie would lose 1st to Akio going through turns 2 and 3 and down the straight towards turn 4
Herschel would bypass both Torvald and Vanellope and speed after Phipps down the straight
Swizzle would still be at the starting line his engine having blown
"FUCK!" He'd scream in frustration
"Lodhi? Lodhi you ok?" A member of his pit crew would ask
Lodhi would remain silent as he'd quietly check his front left tire which hit the wall
"Lodhi…what are you doing?" A crew member would ask
Back up ahead Akio would skid wide at turn 4
"Here's my chance…" Annie would tell herself
Suddenly Marcy would appear on her right robbing her of the inside and 1st place
"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Annie would shout as she'd pursue Marcy down the short spurt towards turn 5, 6 and 7 forming the high-speed left-right-left "S"
Way back at turn 1 Lodhi would look at his fans sitting in the stands
They'd all look gloomy, sad and defeated
He'd see a younger one holding a toy kart modelled after his
He'd look back at his tire and see only minor damage
To the surprise of his crew and the race officials approaching him he'd drive back onto the track
"Lodhi…you must exit your kart…now…" A crew member would state
"Not ven ze kart is drivable…" Lodhi would respond
"You won't catch the front runners in 4 laps Lodhi…"
"Vatch me…" He'd respond
He'd speed off down the track
Back up ahead Marcy would lead into turn 8 which would be a right-hand hairpin
Annie would close the short gap between the 2 down the short run towards turns 9 and 10 both being left-handers
Marcy would go through with ease as would Annie
Akio would have a terrible exit and would be passed by Phipps
He'd look in his mirrors and see Herschel and Vanellope gaining fast
He'd press his blue button. "Where's Lodhi?"
"Just got back on the track a few seconds ago…"
"So he's not even at turn 3? He's not catching us then…"
"Correction champ…Lodhi is closing in on turn 4…"
"…Repeat that…"
"Lodhi is now rounding turn 4 champ…"
"No matter…the others should slow him down…"
Akio would press his blue button again and focus on his pursuit of Phipps
Marcy and Annie would blast down the straight leading to turn 11 which would be a left-hander
Annie would dart from side to side
Marcy's kart would find it's way in front of her every time
Annie would grit her teeth going through turn 11. "I'm winning this race…no matter what that bitch tries…" She'd tell herself
Marcy would keep her lead through turns 12 and 13 both being right-handers
She'd speed down the straight towards turn 14
Annie would swerve to the side and slam the gas
She'd pull up to the side of Marcy
Marcy would swerve and bump her wheels causing Annie to lose control for a brief moment
But enough for Marcy to get ahead and cut her off going into turn 14
Annie would hit her steering wheel as they'd swoop through turn 15 and down the long straight towards the line
She'd pull up beside Marcy again
Both would slam their karts into one another
Their fans would cheer loudly in the stands
Phipps would sit just a few feet from them blocking Akio's attempts at passing him
Herschel would close the distance between himself and Akio to a few inches as Vanellope would ride his bumper
All 6 would cross the line starting their second lap
Behind everyone Snowanna would sigh as she'd struggle to catch Sticky and Minty heading down the straight towards turn 11
She'd suddenly hear Lodhi's engine roaring behind her
She'd look to the side just in time to see Lodhi pass her as if she were sitting idle on the track
She'd sigh again
Lodhi would pass Sticky on the outside of turn 12
He'd pass Minty on the outside of turn 13
He'd speed through turns 14 and 15
He'd see Adorabeezle, Jubileena, Nougetsia and Citrusella halfway through the straight towards turn 1
Lodhi's eyes would narrow, he'd grip his steering wheel tight and to the amazement of his fans
He'd start going even faster
The gap between him and the group of girls would close
And close rapidly
Nearing the turn Adorabeezle would pull slightly ahead of Jubileena as Nougetsia and Citrusella would line up behind the 2
To their shock Lodhi would pass all 4 on the outside and would cut Adorabeezle off heading through turn 2 and would quickly speed off leaving all 4 in the dust
His fans would cheer
"Maybe zere's a chance he'll vin after all…" The young fan holding his toy kart would state
Marcy would lead through turn 8 as her blue button would glow
She'd press it. "What is it?" She'd ask
"You need to pick up the pace…Lodhi has propelled himself in 13th place and is closing in on turn 4…"
"What…I know he's fast…but did anyone even put up a fight?"
"Snowanna was too slow…Sticky never saw him coming…Minty thought she could out run him through the turns…Adorabeezle, Jubileena, Nougetsia and Citrusella were too busy battling and never saw him coming…we aren't sure if he'll pass the rest…but you must pick up the pace…he's gaining…and gaining fast…"
Marcy would press the button again and speed through turns 9 and 10 griping her steering wheel tight heading down the straight
"When he catches me…then he'll have a fight…"
Annie's right side tires would begin vibrating and wobbling slightly
"Shit…that bumping and bashing took it's toll…didn't even get first out of it…" She'd grit her teeth
Phipps and Akio would pass her down the straight
She'd see Herschel in her mirrors
"Going to fight properly this time around?" She'd ask through her mic
"Question is…are you?" Herschel would ask back
"Your on Aussie…" Annie would state
Going through turns 11-13 Herschel and Annie would go side by side
They'd speed down the straight Annie pulling ahead due to higher top speed
Herschel would line up behind her
Behind them Rancis would battle Taffyta down the straight towards turn 11
"Your not getting passed me Rancis…" Taffyta would state
"Yes I will!"
Neither would notice Lodhi speeding behind them
They'd near turn 11 and slow down slightly for it
Lodhi would pass both on the outside and would cut Taffyta off through turn 12
Her eye would twitch
"Keep calm Taffyta…" A crew member would state
"WHERE THE FUCK DID HE COME FROM?! HE SPUN OUT AND HIT THE WALL!" Taffyta would scream
"He only received minor damage…and got back on the track against the wishes of his pit crew…"
"STILL HE HAS DAMAGE! YET STILL GETS HIS TOP SPEED?!"
"He's gambling…"
"I SWEAR TO FUCK IF HE FINISHES AND FINISHES IN FIRST I'M GOING TO SCREAM!"
"As if she's not doing that now…" A crew member would whisper to another
A few turns later
Marcy would be rounding turn 2 as Phipps and Akio would cross the line and start their third lap with Annie, Herschel and Vanellope closing in on them
Akio would dart from side to side finding Phipps kart in his way each time
He'd look up at the stands
His eyes would widen when he'd see all of Lodhi's fans cheering
He'd press his blue button. "Where's Lodhi?" He'd ask his pit crew
"He's rounding turn 15…"
Akio would check his mirrors
Behind Annie, Herschel and Vanellope
He'd see the Lodhi's red Ferrari F2004 at the exit of turn 15
"…Not good…"
Going down the straight Lodhi would storm pass Vanellope
Herschel would swerve hard to the left to cut him off but would almost hit the wall in the process
Lodhi would move to the right and pass him
He'd drag race Annie towards turn 1
Annie would stick to her line. "If he tries anything…I'll send him off again…" She'd tell herself
To her surprise Lodhi would barely slow for the turn
But enough to drive cleanly through it and cut Annie off going into turn 2
Annie's right eye would twitch. "You bastard…" She'd mutter
Phipps and Akio would speed through turn 4 Akio would check his mirrors seeing Lodhi getting ever closer
He'd make an overtake attempt right before turn 5
Phipps would chop him off with ease
Through turns 7-10 Lodhi would close the distance between himself and his 2 brothers
And he'd close it fast
Rounding turn 10 Akio would see Lodhi just a few karts length behind as they'd speed down the straight
Phipps would look in his mirrors shocked to see Lodhi
"That explains Akio's more frequent overtake attempts…"
Akio would swing to the right
Phipps would veer to the right to block him
Lodhi's engine would roar loudly
Phipps eyes would widen. "No…his speed…"
Lodhi would blaze by the both of them and would round turn 11
Phipps would move over and let Akio pass him
Through turns 12 and 13 Akio would get into Lodhi's slipstream
Phipps would follow closely behind the 2
"I'll simply let them take me to Marcy…"
He'd check his mirror and see Annie gaining fast
"That might through a wrench into that…"
Marcy would near turn 14
She'd check her mirror to see Lodhi speeding towards her with Akio, Phipps, Annie and Herschel following right behind him
Her eyes would narrow as she'd round turn 14, sweep through turn 15 and blast down the straight
She'd be halfway through the straight when Lodhi would round turn 15
His fans would go crazy as he'd close the gap between himself and Marcy
And close it fast
Nearing turn 1 Lodhi would be within feet of Marcy's rear wing
He'd swing to the right
Marcy would chop him off and go through turn 1
She'd lead through turn 2 and 3
Lodhi would overtake her down the straight towards turn 4
Marcy would stay on his tail down towards turn 5
She'd pass him when he'd lock up in turn 6
Lodhi would keep his cool and would follow Marcy through turns 7, 8, 9 and 10
Down the straight towards turn 11 Lodhi would again take the lead
He'd lead through turns 11 and 12
Marcy would bump him going through turn 13 sending him skidding
Marcy would claim 1st and Akio would claim 2nd as they'd blast down the straight towards turn 14
Lodhi's fans would begin to lose hope
Marcy would lead through the final 2 turns
Akio would pull up beside her and they'd drag race towards the finish line
They'd both hear Lodhi's engine roar
They'd look to their left to see him pull ahead by a few inches
"No…" Marcy and Akio would state in unison
Lodhi would cross the line and hold his fist high in the air
"YES! FUCK YES! IT'S MY TIME!" He'd drive onto the runoff area of turn 1 and hold his hands over his visor
The rest of the racers would finish as their standings would appear on a large screen above the pitlane

Lodhi would drive back towards the finish line
His fans would chant his name as he'd stand on top of his kart and raise both fist in the air
His fans would cheer loud enough for the ground to shake
Some of the racers in the pitlane would be surprised
His siblings would walk over as he'd jump off his kart
They'd group hug
"How's that for a debut? First 5 races…top 5 lockouts!" Annie would state
Eventually they'd return to the pitlane
Lodhi would get swarmed and receive high-fives and pats on the back
Vanellope would walk over to him
"That was a nice comeback…hard fought and well won…"
Lodhi would take off his helmet with a smile. "Zanks princess…"
The 5 rookies would trek to the room leading to the podium
Taffyta's fist would be clenched and she'd grit her teeth
"You ok Taff?" Gloyd would ask
"They are way overpowered…it's not even fair…"
"I know…but nothing we can do about it…"
In the room Lodhi would sit down a huge smile planted on his face. "I still can't believe it…zat finish couldn't have been closer…"
Marcy would sigh. "You just got lucky…"
A marshmallow would open the door. "The podium awaits…"
Lodhi would lead them out
His fans cheers would cause the ground to shake
He'd lift the trophy high in the air tears of joy forming in his eyes
His siblings would clap and grab their champagne bottles
They'd spray him
He'd laugh and keep the trophy high in the air
(A few minutes later)
The rookies would go back down to the pitlane and join the others
"So you 5 have any plans?" Vanellope would ask
"Nothing until dinner…"
"You have dinner plans?"
"Well…I promised Snowanna I'd take her out…" Phipps would respond
"Really? I promised Citrusella the same thing…" Akio would state
"I have an idea…" Vanellope would tap her chin
"Vot's your idea?" Lodhi would ask
"How about Rancis and I…take you all to Tapper's…you can bring your dates…if you have any…"
The 5 siblings would look at one another and shrug
"Sure…"
Great…meet at the rainbow bridge in a few hours…"
She'd turn and walk away
But cramp up again
"Damn it…"
Rancis would be by her side again as everyone would look on surprised
They'd walk to the castle
"Hmm…" Taffyta would cross her arms
"Interesting…" Minty would tap her chin
"Don't even start thinking about anything…" Torvald would snap at them
"Wasn't thinking anything…" Minty would raise her arms
(A few minutes later)
Lodhi would walk over to Torvald. "Hey Torvald…I have a question…"
"Yes Lodhi?"
"Vell Vanellope is taking me and my siblings out for dinner…I vas vondering if you vonted to come vith me…"
"sure…"
"Cool…ve'll meet at ze rainbow bridge in a few hours…"
He'd walk off
Torvald would ponder for a moment
Minty would walk over to her
"If Phipps brings Snowanna…Akio brings Citrusella…Marcy brings someone on their side…Annie goes alone…Adorabeezle and Jubileena go…you'll be in danger…"
"Doesn't matter…I can't let Vanellope do or say anything to them…"
"You sure about this?"
"Yes I am…"
(Back at the castle)
Vanellope would cramp up walking up to her throne
"Ah damn it…"
She'd sit down on her throne
Adorabeezle would walk in
"Are you ok princess? You've been having problems in the past few days…"
"I'm fine Adorabeezle…I'm fine…"
"Ok…" She'd walk out of the throne room
Jubileena, Nougetsia, Citrusella, Snowanna, Rancis and Swizzle would be waiting for her.
"Somethings wrong…she started having those problems a few days ago…first her mood changed…and changed violently…now she's cramping up…" Jubileena would cross her arms
"Strange indeed…" Snowanna would add
Swizzle would look at Rancis. "You 2 haven't done anything...right?"
"That's not an appropriate question to be asking me Swizzle…" Rancis would reply
"I know it isn't but maybe if something did happen…she maybe you know what…"
All eyes would turn to Rancis
He'd clear his throat. "She's not…whether we did you know what or not…her mood seeming angry all the time is probably because we failed to stop the last 3 from bringing everyone back…her cramps…everyone gets them from time to time…"
Everyone's arms would cross.
"No one gets cramps like that Rancis…atleast have her take a test…if she is…that would change things…it'd give the other side something to target…and we don't need that…" Swizzle would state
"I'll run the idea by her…and we'll go from there…ok?" Rancis would look at everyone
"Ok…" They'd respond in unison
(Hours later)
Torvald would meet up with Lodhi at the Rainbow Bridge
"Where's everyone else?"
"Zere coming…" Lodhi would respond
A few moments later Akio would arrive with Citrusella, Phipps with Snowanna, Vanellope and Rancis, Adorabeezle with Jubileena and Annie would arrive alone
"Vere's Marcy?" Lodhi would look at Annie
"She's coming…and ordered me to tell you all not to judge who's coming with her…" Annie would respond
"Vy?" Lodhi would ask
"Who could she be bringing that we wouldn't agree with?" Phipps would ask
Annie would point to the right where they'd see Marcy and Nougetsia holding hands
"Well she did say she wasn't into any of the guys in the game…" Phipps would look at Akio who'd shrug silently
"Vell aslong as she's happy I'm happy…" Lodhi would state
"It better stay that way…" Marcy would state why blushing a little
"Well…we're all here…so let's get going…" Vanellope would state
Torvald would stay close to Lodhi as they'd walk up the bridge
She'd look around at everyone and see she's heavily outnumbered
"Keep calm…they won't try anything…not with the Lodhi and his siblings around…" She'd tell herself
Minty, Crumbelina and Taffyta would watch them leave
"This isn't good…Torvald thinks that she has the advantage since the rookies have an idea of what happened…we all know Vanellope will do anything to get them on her side…" Minty would state
"We already agreed to do something about it…just wait Minty…" Taffyta would state
Sticky would watch the group leave from Herschel's kitchen window. "Stay safe sis…stay safe…"
(A few minutes later)
The group would arrive at GCS
Lodhi, Akio, Phipps, Marcy and Annie would be amazed by it
"Whoa…"
"Zis…"
"Place…"
"Is…"
"Huge…"
Vanellope would chuckle. "Yea…it's something isn't it?"
All 5 would nod
"Well let's hurry up…at dinner Tapper's gets full fast…we don't want to lose out on a booth…"
The group would walk towards Tapper's
Annie would look to see a group of small avatars holding signs with the slogans "Dirty racer!" "Mrs. Wrecker!" and "False champion written on them
She'd promptly flip the group off as they'd walk into Tapper's
"Ah Vanellope! I was wondering when you show…" Tapper would walk over to the group
"Hey Tapper…as you can see we'll need a booth…"
"Sure thing follow me" He'd lead them to a booth
"I suppose these are the 5 rookies?" He'd gesture to the newbies
"Yup…but as you probably saw…they race like skilled veterans…"
"Ah yes…-he'd turn to the newbies-…your battles made the place go while…it was a full house and no one diverted attention from the tv…I've never seen that in years…"
All 5 would smile
"Thanks Tapper…"
"No problem…-he'd give everyone menus-…and since this is your first time here and you all put on a great show…it's on the house tonight…"
"Alright!"
Tapper would walk off
Everyone would look at the menus when Torvald would get kicked in the leg
She'd hold in her scream and look at Adorabeezle sitting across from her
Adorabeezle would slide a finger across her throat
Torvald would respond by kicking her in the knee
Rancis would look at Vanellope. "I'm getting a burger…what about you?"
Vanellope would look at him. "I'm taking that too…along with Ketchup, Mustard, Onions and Pickles…"
"Nelly you hate those last 2 things…"
"I know but I have a craving for them…"
"Ok…"
(20 minutes later after eating)
Torvald would get up. "I'm going to go use the restroom…"
She'd walk away followed closely by Vanellope
She'd go to one of the sinks and run some water through her hands
Vanellope would appear beside her moments afterward.
They wouldn't share eye contact
"What's your game here?" Vanellope would ask
"No game…just making sure no lies are thrown around…"
"Is that so?"
Soon afterwards Nougetsia and Citrusella would walk in
Citrusella would lean on the door as Nougetsia would slowly approach Vanellope and Torvald
"Let's not get the 5 newbies involved Vanellope…" Torvald would state
"Why? Scared they'll flock to my side?"
"No, they barely know what's going on…and don't have to go down the road we've gone down…"
"That I'm afraid is inevitable…"
"I won't let you turn them Vanellope…"
"You know you keep making a good case as to why I should kill you…"
Nougetsia would suddenly stand behind Torvald boxing her into a corner
Torvald would try keeping calm but would fail to hide some of her fear. "I'm not scared of you…"
"Your mouth tells one story your eyes say another…" Vanellope would finally make eye contact sporting her signature wicked grin
Torvald would back into the wall
Vanellope would chuckle. "You like to pretend your not scared…but I see through that mask you wear…I see the terrified girl that rests behind that stern expression…"
"You can't kill me…that'll only drive the newbies away…" Torvald would state nervously
"Kill you? I have no plans to kill you…yet…" Vanellope would take a few steps towards her. "I do have an offer…"
"What offer?" Torvald would ask
"If you give up now…I will show you mercy…along with Sticky…Herschel and Candlehead…the others…however…are fair game…"
Torvald would be silent for a moment
"Think about it Torvald…a second chance at life along with the better ones on your side…"
"I won't let 4 of them die…" Torvald would respond
"Fine be that way…-Vanellope would lift her chin up so they'd make eye contact-…your time is soon then…"
She'd walk towards the door and cramp up again. "For mods sake…"
Nougetsia and Citrusella would help her out
(A few minutes later)
The group would leave Tapper's and would return to Sugar Rush.
"Well that was a fun night…" Vanellope would state
"Yea…" The rookies would respond in unison
"Tomorrow there's a tournament planned…we'll race on every track starting with the Royal Raceway…I hope you will join us…"
"Sure thing…" The rookies would respond in unison again
"Great…"
The group would separate
The rookies would head home
As Vanellope would return to the castle with Rancis and her racers
(A few minutes later)
Lodhi would reach his doorway with Torvald by his side
"Can you call your siblings here? There's something important that I need to tell you all…"
"Ok…zey vill be here soon…"
"Ok…" Torvald would respond
(A few minutes later)
The siblings would gather in Lodhi's huge living room
Torvald would sit looking at the ground
"What's this about Torvald?" Annie would ask
"No one here has been completely honest with you…I told my side to hide this from you because didn't want you getting involved…." Torvald would start
"You mean something really did happen?" Marcy would ask
"Yes…but what happened is entirely our fault…you see…we've been plugged in for 15 years…but Vanellope hasn't ruled for aslong as you all think…within our first few days this villain named Turbo took over the game…turned himself into King Candy…turned Vanellope into a glitch…locked our memories away…and manipulated us greatly…"
The siblings would remain silent taking everything in
"He had us believe Vanellope was a grave danger…that if players were to see her…our game would be unplugged…and we'd be left homeless…however…to keep her from every approaching the track…some of us took…extreme measures…"
"Like what?" Phipps would ask
"We bullied her…to the point you could class it as abuse, assault, even attempted murder…everyday…for 15 years…"
The siblings would look at one another shocked
"The only ones who either held back…or didn't do a thing were Sticky, Candlehead and myself…"
"What about Herschel?" Annie would ask
"He was added to the game just 2 months ago…"
"Oh…" Annie would respond
Torvald would continue looking at the ground as she'd continue speaking. "2 full months ago…things changed…a character named wreck-it Ralph accidentally stumbled into the game…to make a long story short…after a hectic series of events…Turbo died…and Vanellope code was restored and her role as Princess restored…but…under her sweet whitey smile…laid an awful…awful grin…"
The sibling would look at one another silently
"We didn't know we had broken her years before…didn't know that she had a sinister plan in motion…it all started after her very first day of racing…she had our code boxes locked so we wouldn't regenerated…she proceeded to kill Taffyta, Candlehead, Swizzle and Gloyd all in cold blood…she then captured Adorabeezle, Jubileena, Nougetsia and Citrusella…and corrupted them…she had Adorabeezle help her kill Rancis and Minty…then Sticky and I took a risk…while she distracted them…I unlocked everyone's codes…I brought everyone back…but Vanellope trapped us in the mountain…she then devised a tournament…she had Rancis, Swizzle, Crumbelina, Minty and Sticky…vs Taffyta, Gloyd, Candlehead, Snowanna and myself…during a tournament with heavy rigging…my team lost 3-1…I was caught right away…and the rest went into hiding…Taffyta and Snowanna were caught within 3 days…had their racing abilities taken away and turned into servants…Gloyd and Candlehead fled the game…during the proceeding week…Vanellope corrupted Rancis…started to corrupt Swizzle…broke Snowanna and Taffyta…then we had a small update…which forced Gloyd and Candlehead to return…Gloyd didn't go down without a fight…he was backed into a corner…his body beaten by Ralph…yet stood tall for 10 minutes hold Citrusella at gun point…even shot her beforehand too…Candlehead snuck back into the game during the chaos...afterwards Vanellope turned Snowanna…and she caught Candlehead and placed her in the Fungeon…Candlehead escaped…and met up with Gloyd and escaped the game again…then for the proceeding month manage to elude Vanellope's grasp…but during that time…Crumbelina…Minty…Sticky and myself found ourselves heavily outnumbered…we were beaten all over the race track by them…and without mercy…nothing was enough for them…then we had another update…which brought Herschel into this mess…Gloyd and Candlehead returned and eluded capture in the game…even though I regret it now…I convinced Herschel to join our side…even though I could have left him as a neutral soul…but since it was now an even 7 v 7…I decided it was time to fight back…I challenged Vanellope to a tournament…her racers against the racers on my side…in a tournament that lasted 3 days…we won the first day…with some help from Swizzle who fought against Vanellope's corruption…but she punished him for it by corrupting him almost fully…Vanellope won the second day at the cost of Adorabeezle receiving a minor concussion…and Jubileena firing 3 Sweet Seekers into Gloyd…paralyzing him from the waist down…and the third day came down to a winner take all final race…Herschel was about to bring it home and secure victory…but Vanellope had placed a bomb in his kart and set it off…her team won the day and the tournament…Vanellope…using our actions and the tournament as justification…executed Taffyta…Minty…Candlehead…Crumbelina…and myself…leaving only Herschel, Sticky and a crippled Gloyd…Swizzle used his last ounces of free will to help the 3 reveal the truth to the citizens…and through their rage and actions…Vanellope was forced to bring us back…on the condition we race in the tournament tomorrow…if she or one of her racers win…it is game over for us…if one of us win…we get to fight another day…I know this is long…and you might not believe this…but I don't want any of you getting involved…I don't want any of you to go down the dark road I made Herschel go down…I don't want you to suffer like he's had too…"
All 5 newbies would remain silent trying to process everything
Torvald would look up at them. "I'm sorry for trying to keep this from you…as I said I didn't want to see what happened to Herschel…happen to all of you…none of you deserve to go through the emotional bloody drama he's gone through…things he didn't even deserve…"
"We understand Torvald…can you leave us now? We would like to take some time and think…" Marcy would state
"If you need anything…I'm just a call away…" Torvald would get up and silently leave
"What the fuck Torvald? You said you were going to let Vanellope make the first move…" Minty would ask as Torvald would leave Lodhi's Chalet
"Akio and Lodhi would know if I lied to them…plus…at Tapper's…Vanellope cornered me…even though she didn't say it…she hinted that everything was going her way…I needed to change that…"
"It better pay off…"
"I'm hoping it will…"
Both would duck behind nearby trees as Vanellope would knock on Lodhi's door
"Come in…"
Vanellope would walk in by herself as the rest of Torvald's side would join her and move to nearby windows to listen in on their conversation
Vanellope would sit silently across from the newbies
"Something tells me we picked the wrong time to drop into this game…" Annie would state
"Y-yea…" Vanellope would rub the back off her head
"Are you ok?" Annie would ask
She'd sob a bit. "I know Torvald has already told you everything…I'm not going to deny my actions…were they cold blooded? Yes…was I cruel? Yes…do I regret my decisions? Yes I do…"
All 5 would look at her slightly confused
"From the sounds of it you were having fun…"
"I'll admit…they broke me…when I had all the power at my finger-tips…I did things…that I shouldn't have done…I was blinded by my pain and rage…during a time that should've been used for healing…but believe me when I tell you…I wanted to change…I wanted to make things better…but I was too late…" She'd take out her tablet and give it to the newbies with a video footage on it. "This is what happened when I tried to reconcile…this was after Herschel came and before the tournament…I wanted to avoid a conflict…"
Akio would press the play button and the video would play showing footage revealing Taffyta, Gloyd, Crumbelina and Minty making all kinds of threats to Vanellope
Torvald would look at the 5. "Is there something I should know?"
"She altered that footage…Akio and Lodhi won't buy it…"
"I doubt that…" Sticky would state
Lodhi and Akio would watch the video skeptic
"Zere's notsing zat tells me zis footage is altered…" Lodhi would whisper Akio
"I know…" Akio would whisper back
The footage would switch over to Gloyd celebrating after giving Adorabeezle her concussion
Phipps, Marcy and Annie would be mortified. "Is he celebrating something that could've killed her?"
Vanellope would nod sobbingly. "Yes…not only do they want me dead…they want my throne…and they want my side dead aswell…I restore their normal selves…and they're reaction was this…"
The footage would show Nougetsia and Citrusella getting shoved by Taffyta and Minty with all kinds of threats and names being thrown their way
The video would stop and Akio would hand the tablet back
"Torvald vas being truzful…she vasn't lying ven she told us her side of ze story…" Lodhi would state
"I know…here's the thing…Torvald, Sticky, Herschel and Candlehead…they are trying to be simple peaceful opposition…just like any democracy…but Minty, Taffyta, Crumbelina and Gloyd on the other hand…they are entirely different story…I've tried convincing the first 4 to stop…so we can try to make things better…but they don't know what the last 4 are up too…so they defend them at every step…"
"So you want us to help you?" Phipps would ask
"Heavens no…I don't want you getting involved…you all deserve to race and tried to lead normal lives…this little conflict is between my side and Torvald's…" Vanellope would glitch a little much to the newbies surprise
"I never showed you this…did I?"
All 5 would shake their heads
"Even though I'm the Princess again…Turbo left me with a scar/painful memory…before I couldn't control it at all…nowadays…I have control…but I still involuntarily glitch from time to time…"
"…If you don't mind Princess…could you leave us alone for the night? We would like to discuss this amongst ourselves…"
Vanellope would stand. "Take as much time as you need…" She'd glitch out of the room but unbeknownst to them she'd be in the room next to them
So who do you think is to blame for all this? Akio would ask
"Everyone aganist Vanellope...they took a sweet girl and broke her..." Marcy would state
"Yet she's gone vay to far" Lodhi would cross his arms
"Think about it...how would you react if all you knew was pain?" Phipps would look at his brother
"Can ve atleast agree to stay out of ze fight? Both sides do not vont our involvement…"
Akio would nod. "Yes…let's agree to disagree…"
Phipps and Marcy would nod. "Let them settle it…" They'd say in unison
"Either way...if the princess ever calls upon me for assistance...I can and will help her take real bad guys out..." Annie would cross her arms. "Go against me if you want…but I fine what Vanellope did…she was totally justified…what they made her go through is unacceptable…they earned this fate…"
Lodhi, Akio, Phipps and Marcy would look at her
"Very vell…I know you hate Herschel…but do you hate zeir entire side?"
"With every my fans have gathered…I have reasons to keep watchful eyes on all of them except Torvald and Candlehead…they're both sweet and friendly…especially Candlehead…"
Akio would tap his chin. "Let's agree to this…if one of us wins the tournament…we just leave with the trophy…no choosing sides…deal?"
"Deal…" Lodhi, Phipps and Marcy would respond in unison
"Deal…unless the circumstances change…" Annie would cross her arms
Vanellope would sport a wide grin before leaving the Chalet
Torvald's group would silently leave the area
"That little brownie themed bitch…she's talking sweet with her siblings…but I think we all know she's going to do her damn best to help Vanellope tomorrow..." Minty would state
"Don't even think about doing anything to her…-Torvald would rub her temples-…the other 4 agreed to not get involved…I'd rather have Annie as a friend/enemy…than have all 5 gunning for us…if the races today proved anything…her siblings will finish ahead of her in the tournament…so we're safe from her…"
"Still when are we going to play some offense…playing defense has gotten us creamed time and time again…" Minty would snap at her
Torvald would take a rare super serious tone. "Going into tomorrow we have a chance…I'd rather you not fuck it up…I know things don't look bright but they never fucking have to begin with…tomorrow is our last shot…I don't need you fucking it all up…understand…"
Minty would bite her tongue and nod
Torvald would take a step back. "Good…-she'd look at everyone else-…I think we should all turn in for the night…get some sleep for tomorrow…"
Everyone would nod and head home
(A few minutes later)
Minty, Taffyta and Crumbelina would meet at Minty's house
"Ok…so we had agreed to take Adorabeezle out…I think we should add Annie to that list…" Minty would start
"Are you sure about this Minty? What if it doesn't work? We'll not only have fucked ourselves…but everyone else…" Crumbelina would rub the back of her head
"Crumbs…get a grip…Torvald even said…we have one last shot…we might aswell make it count…and if we go down we can say we went down fighting and with a bang…" Minty would reply
"So what's your plan Minty?" Taffya would ask
"Simple…sabotage Adorabeezle engine…while me and Crumbs sabotage Annie's engine…breaks…and suspension…when we're going up the large cake on the Royal Raceway…they'll both find out it's a rather steep fall…"
She'd laugh and Taffyta would join in
Crumbelina would nervously chuckle
(The next morning)
The racers would arrive at the Royal Raceway
A few racers including Adorabeezle and Annie would park their karts behind the grandstands as they go to the opening ceremony
Minty, Taffyta and Crumbelina would silently approach the 2 karts sitting just feet from one another
Taffyta would lift Adorabeezle's hood and get to work
Minty would get to work aswell
"Common Crumbs…give her engine a few tweaks…"
Crumbelina would hesitate. "I'm not sure about this…"
"Too late now Crumbs…do it before I smash your hand into it…"
Crumbelina would reluctantly get to work when Sticky would stumble upon them
"What the fuck are you 3 doing?!" She'd yell in a whisper
"Taking care of a few threats…" Minty would reply
"Your going to get us all killed!" Sticky would try to keep it at a whisper
"They'll have no way of proving it was us…" Taffyta would state
Sticky would take a few steps back but Minty would grab her arm
"Tell anyone about this Sticky…and I'll make sure you die before we do…understand?"
Sticky would nod nervously
Minty would stand up. "That should be good…now let's go join the others
All 4 would run and join the others gathered on the finish line
Candlehead would be talking to Annie
"And that's why in 2-3 years I see the HASS F1 team being the new best of the rest team…no one is catching Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull until the rule changes in 2020…even then I doubt the mid-field customer teams will be able to do much…"
"So HASS is your favorite team?" Candlehead would ask
Annie would shake her head. "No…I'm just saying that Renault better keep it's head up…it won't be best of the rest for long if they don't…my favorite driver resides on a back marker team…"
"So he's either on Willams…Toro Rosso or Sauber?"
"I'll leave you guessing…"
Vanellope would clear her throat. "Wish for the starting positions be decided by a randomizer?"
"Sure…" Most of the racers would agree
Vanellope would press a button on her tablet and cringe seeing the results

Everyone would get their karts in their starting positions Annie would look around from her driver seat
"Somesing vrong Annie?" Lodhi would ask through his mic
"Kart doesn't feel right…" Annie would respond
"Gonna drop out?" Vanellope would ask
"No…I think I can manage…" Annie would respond
5 red lights would appear above the racers
They'd rev their engines
Adorabeezle would look at her hood. "Somethings wrong…" She'd tell herself. "Can't drop out…I'm the only one who's in a winning Princess…I must continue…for the Princess…"
Annie would look at her kart as it'd vibrate. "Somethings up…but what…"
The lights would go out and the racers would take off
Almost immediately Adorabeezle and Annie would struggle to control their karts
"Annie…I think you should stop the kart…" Marcy would state concerned seeing her sister struggle
"Just a bad setup…I've handled worse…"
The top 6 would speed through Gumball Gorge as Annie would lose the back end of her kart for a few brief moments
"Yea…somethings wrong with the kart…I'll retire and come back strong the next race…"
She'd hit the brakes heading towards the Cakeway part of the track
Minty, Annie and Adorabeezle would be 3 abreast going up the cake hill
"Guys back off! My karts not working properly and my brakes are gone! Back off please! I can barely control it!" Annie would shout frantically through her mic
"Torvald tried the nice way…you didn't join…so we'll do things…my way…" Minty would mutter as she'd veer to the right smashing into the side of Annie
Annie would spin out of control and into Adorabeezle
Both would fly off the side of the mountain
2 piercing shrieks would follow them on the long plummet
